- I've been following the Maxroll guides, but their "tanky" builds still seem to struggle to stay alive. Even in Just GR 105s, 1-2 unlucky shots from any mobs seem to be able to proc my Templar's lifesave constantly. Is this just how it's supposed to be?
- The Greater Rift boss that looks like a black stone Gargoyle. I don't understand how I'm supposed to survive him if my cheat-deaths are down. He teleport strikes you if you get too far, and when I'm close I seem to randomly get 1-shotted by an instant-cast, screen-wide explosion he does. Please help me understand how this guy works
- If I decide a GR boss is too strong for me, is it just hope-he-spawns-somewhat-close-to-previous-stage-door and make a run for it? Is that the only way to not die?
- If I'm not facerolling the trash mobs, should I consider that GR too high to push? Or is trash supposed to take a long time when I'm pushing? Feels like even the non-elite mobs are chunking me for half my health when they get a hit in, and it takes a lot of work to clear trash.
- I've watched videos and read a ton on the Inna's Mystic Ally build, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how the active ability works. Like the Water one, it just looks like it gives the Mystic Allies a water wave attack for a long time, but otherwise does nothing else. But the FIRE one, does it make my existing allies split in half, and then blow themselves up on the nearest mob (meaning those allies die and take 5 seconds to revive, meaning I have less stacks on my defensive buff)? Am I supposed to be spamming it on cd to get as many allies as possible?
- If "attack speed" on a weapon gives me the same overall weapon damage number as "+x% damage" on a weapon (assuming I can't get both), is one better than the other?
- Squirt's Necklace that almost every build seems to be using; When I take damage, do I lose the damage buff and take 50% extra damage for a while? Or do I keep the damage but just take 50% more damage? Also if I have a wrist that says "when you cast a primary skill, take 50% less damage", do those 2 cancel out? I seem to just... die when I wear squirt's necklace, despite vital/all-resist on pretty much all non-jewelry/weapon items.
- The Enchantress's save-from-death level 30 ability, i get that it's like the Wizard's time-slow bubble ability, but does it at least restore me to full life? Or is it just casting a weak time-slow while leaving me at 1% hp? Terrified to use her over Templar because I don't get how it works.
- The Kanai's Cube recipe for getting myself 1 primal ancient item, if it just rolls a bunch of bad affixes, am I just screwed or can I use "reforge legendary" until I get the affixes I want?

Hello! I’m soon to be 38, AMH 0,96, had 2 retrieval so far. I got 6 unfertlized eggs on ice from my 1st ER, and from 2nd ER, they retrieved 9 eggs, 8 fertilized and got untested 7 blast.
In my country DNA test is very expensive and if I opt for it all the procedure is going to be out of pocket so as of right now I’m not doing the DNA test.
Now my question is, I’m torn if I should do 3rd retrieval. My husband and I live in a different country at moment so it’ll be unfertlized egg. ( I do have frozen sperm at my clinic but the number was SO bad since he was sick so I prefer not to use it.)
I know freezing embryo has a better chance but he won’t be back till September, I don’t know what my work schedule will look like then and I’m honestly worrying about my low AMH!
I know I have 7 blast on the shelves but since they are not tested, I’m afraid if they were ok, especially I’ve had 1 miscarriage last year. And I won’t find out if those eggs are ok until I put those back a couple of times which could be next year and I’ll be almost 39.
Also it’s nice to have more eggs not just 6, in case relationship goes south. (We are moving to another country so I’m honestly worried a bit 😅)

Issue 1: VLC media not showing as "viewed" / tick on file tile
I'm struggling to understand what the criteria are for VLC Media Player to show a viewed file on an external HDD as "viewed" denoted by an orange tick/check in the top LHS corner of the file tile.
Sometimes it appears after watching a movie, episode or other media on the external connected HDD, sometimes it doesn't even though seemingly similar circumstances (let the media play until the end and play the next file for e.g.)
Issue 2: Home screen (curently stock) displaying removed media (external HDD) as recently viewed and cannot get this to update.
The media would have been removed manually via physically disconnection of external HDD from the 2019 Shield Pro unit (when off) via computer and then reconnecting to Shield Pro prior to turning back on.
Any tips on either appreciated!

When they are referring to "the program" in the sentence "It was followed by the program to be compiled, and then a $LOAD card, directing the operating system to load the object program just compiled. "
They are referring to Fortran's Machine Code having to be compiled when they say "the program"? They are also referring to the now compiled Fortran Machine Code as the "object program" when they refer to the thing just compiled?
I want to make sure I am understanding the chronological events taking place for the typical input job described in Figure 1-3 on page 9 of the Minix book hardcover edition.
the reason this is confusing is because of the previous statement before "It was followed"
In the previous sentence / statement it is said "Then came a $Fortran card telling the operating system to load the FORTRAN compiler from the system tape."
Let us assume there is no already compiled Fortran Program that can be loaded already from a Scratch Tape and that this is the first time FORTRAN is being compiled in the IBM 7094.
Obviously it would be a waste of time to recompile Fortran every time unless this was necessary for it to run early on? Or was the compiled Fortran object program just loaded into the IBM 7094 OS from batch tape instead?
I am confused about what exactly is occurring after the $FORTRAN card in figure 1-3. are they describing Fortran going from machine code to a object program running on the IBM 7049 OS?
Maybe I'm also confused about how the compiler is compiled in the first place is why I am not understanding this correctly?

It was all good when we started dating. I have been an introvert person but because of him I got to explore how it likes to be among people, socialise etc. We were dating nicely. But eventually like all couple he started drifting after honeymoon phase. Now he has a lot of things to do other than me, all of his clg friends even after graduating, he clg fests etc. And disclaimer we are in LDR after 3 months of dating.
Now he lives in the same city as his friends whom he meet almost every 15 days or 7 days and stays for like 2 3 days. Whereas we meet once a month and stay sometimes only for 1 or 2 days.
I have been experiencing a lot of distancing and feeling left out. More so i feel i am so much lonely since i have been dependent on him for too long and that he made me a habit to be along his side ever since the start.
I experience a lot loneliness and i ask him to give me that time to stay on weekends since we both are busy on weekdays. To vc and watch things w me, to do that lil extra for me to feel connected and that i am not alone. But lately he makes everything i say about argument. Every lil thing i share becomes the problem. He cant even text while he is out with his friends, even after me stating the obv that i need you. He feels i am throwing tantrums and nothing else.
I feel i have been too much on him. I have been overly dependent. I feel lost this time now and extremely sad to do the things i used to enjoy earlier. I was self-sufficient before he came into my life. But now i need a company, mostly him.
After a recent event, when i requested him to stay with me online, he shrugged saying, we guys are discussing something important. Let's talk later." I feel distant to the fact that he's been with them for 2 days in the same room. And we talked as lil as 2 hrs in 2 days that too on text. Am i asking for too much if i am telling him to stay w me?
As a result, I found myself in tears which happens a lot now, and i decided to break the communication on whatsapp, which is partly the reason for my anxiety.

I tagged this as spoiler in case anybody feels uncomfortable with death and more specifically suicide, now onto the actual post.
I (14f) recently gained a group of friends in my first year of highschool. Before we continue on I’d like to say that I have autism which might be apart of this??? idk and funerals have never been a super serious thing to me? which I know sounds really bad but I’ve only been to 2 funerals in my life and at one I played with cars and the other I just ate these lemon hard candy thingies and snuck out, so I guess I’ve never really taken them seriously (also since like 2020 i haven’t been able to cry w/o yawning). At first it started out small but then me, my friends, and some friends of my friends convinced a teacher to start a club. One day, I was in my room when my friend, B(16f) called me and told me that A had killed himself. I shed a tear or two at the news but thought maybe it’s some fucked up late April fools prank since it was April 2nd. I B said she had told most of our friends and as I comforted her still not sure if it was a prank or not I said I could tell the rest if she wasn’t feeling up for it, so I did.
Days past and it was the day of his viewing. I left school early to go to the first one, I wore what I’d usually wear but just in black and went there with my friends. Everybody was crying and I know it’s a stupid feeling but I just felt left out because I couldn’t even shed a tear and I didn’t really want to cause I would probably yawn and people would get mad but I still tried to hug everyone who needed it. Anyways, some of my friends left and me and my friends who were still there left in the break between the first viewing and the second viewing. It seems stupid but we made plans to go to the beach after the second viewing probably to just act like normal kids again since from the day he’s actually been gone life has felt so bad and adult and weird. I met some friends of A’s that lived out of town and came down here just for the viewing and funeral and they were pretty nice and everybody who made beach plans (including the out of town kids) went down to the second viewing and there was so little people there than the first, lots of people at the first barely even knew A so it’s heartbreaking to know that most of them just went to a VIEWING to skip school (I would give them the benefit of the doubt but it’s hard to when I never heard them be mentioned by A, or any indication that they knew eachother.) We stayed the whole time for both and thought those 7 hours that was the actual viewing I maybe only cried once? But I was trying I really was. Me and a small group of my friends stayed at the funeral home until 11pm even though the viewing ended at 8, they didn’t close the casket until 10. We stayed and talked to A’s mom and that’s when I actually started crying for maybe a minute or two. The people who hadn’t been invited to the funeral got invited that moment and so I ended up going to his funeral. The beach plans never worked because it started raining, but it just felt like A was crying too.
At the funeral I actually did start crying but not a lot since I also kept yawning because of it and I didn’t want people to think I was tired at all funeral off all places. I dressed in funeral appropriate attire and this is a really bad thing to say about the day you went to a funeral but it was a really nice day. It’s now a whole different month which is just… insane to me? We put on a memorial show for him at the school and it was nice even though it was stressful. But I noticed that I have been crying without yawning at more stuff more recently and I wonder, is this the tears that I wanted to shed at the funeral and viewing? Were they just delayed? I know it’s a silly thought but… It makes sense to me.
If you know me IRL and were also a friend of A’s and were at either the funeral or viewing, please don’t get mad at me for posting something that’s pretty personal to a lot of people. I just felt like such an asshole and a bitch for barely even crying, I’ve also cried more at fictional stuff than an actual real life death of one of my—and if you do know me IRL then probably our— close friends.

Basically, i'm 14 yo and i go to school. I don't have a phone cuz my dad won't let me (and i think its a good thing). What i do is that i use my laptop that is sitting next to me when i sleep to watch videos or stuff like that. I know it sounds looser but i don't give a shit, and i should. My parents are divorced so one week, i'm at my mom's house and the other week, im at my dad's. when Im at my mom's, everything's great, during the week i go to sleep at 9:30pm and on week-end, i go at 10/10:30PM. I get great sleep and my life feels beautiful. Shit starts when im at my dad's. See how my dad's house works is that his bedroom is on second floor and mine is on first. i'm french canadian from the province de Québec so our education system is different than in the us. When I was in secondary one, i thought that if i used my laptop during the night, my dad would come to yell at me and take my laptop from me. But more nights, i started using it for a bit and that bit got bigger and bigger. It has now been two years, and i usually go to bed at 9:30 but actually start sleeping around 1:30AM on school week. I wake up at 7am. luckily i have a good week of sleep then a shit one. it's currently 3 AM and there is no school tomorrow. I'm starting to have difficulty to concentrate at school, adding to my ADHD. I know some people might just tell me to stop using my laptop during night to sleep well. Thing is, it pretty much became an addiction. i can do without it but i can't really force myself not to. I swear i tried, i've tried for two years. Just now, i told myself at first, im not going to use it anymore. then i told myself: i'll use it only till 11:45PM, or else i don't use it at all tomorrow. Then, at 11:45PM, i told myself: well, since there isn't school tomorrow, i can go till 1AM. then it was 1:30, 2, and then 3, as i'm writting, because i'm sick of this shit. Tomorrow, I'll force myself not to use it, and i'm going to my mom's this week. But every week i say that i ain't going to use it. Some days i succeed but most of the time i don't. I don't want tricks to stop i just want to know that i'm not the only one in that situation and if you got out of it. I will now try to keep my promise and not use it as much this week and eventually, stop.

It was all good when we started dating. I have been an introvert person but because of him I got to explore how it likes to be among people, socialise etc. We were dating nicely. But eventually like all couple he started drifting after honeymoon phase. Now he has a lot of things to do other than me, all of his clg friends even after graduating, he clg fests etc. And disclaimer we are in LDR after 3 months of dating.
Now he lives in the same city as his friends whom he meet almost every 15 days or 7 days and stays for like 2 3 days. Whereas we meet once a month and stay sometimes only for 1 or 2 days.
I have been experiencing a lot of distancing and feeling left out. More so i feel i am so much lonely since i have been dependent on him for too long and that he made me a habit to be along his side ever since the start.
I experience a lot loneliness and i ask him to give me that time to stay on weekends since we both are busy on weekdays. To vc and watch things w me, to do that lil extra for me to feel connected and that i am not alone. But lately he makes everything i say about argument. Every lil thing i share becomes the problem. He cant even text while he is out with his friends, even after me stating the obv that i need you. He feels i am throwing tantrums and nothing else.
I feel i have been too much on him. I have been overly dependent. I feel lost this time now and extremely sad to do the things i used to enjoy earlier. I was self-sufficient before he came into my life. But now i need a company, mostly him.
After a recent event, when i requested him to stay with me online, he shrugged saying, we guys are discussing something important. Let's talk later." I feel distant to the fact that he's been with them for 2 days in the same room. And we talked as lil as 2 hrs in 2 days that too on text. Am i asking for too much if i am telling him to stay w me?
As a result, I found myself in tears which happens a lot now, and i decided to break the communication on whatsapp, which is partly the reason for my anxiety.

Guys , I am currently dealing with a very very toxic experience I had in a workplace and I really feel stuck.
For Background. I have anxiety disorder and clinical depression. I had 2 very aggressive episodes in 2015 &2020. I am b.tech graduate , and while studying b.tech 3 Rd year I developed IBS due to mental stress. I had to continue my course with all this issues and I completed b.tech in 2020. Soon after completing , I had a very very aggressive depression & anxiety episode that took almost 2 years away from me. I took therapy meds etc during this period. It was dark and I had cried every single day in that period.
I did a correspondence degree in Library science during that period and a digital marketing course. Wanted to do MBA but my family did not support. Even before recovering completely I had to look for jobs , due to the constant taunts and mocking from toxic relatives and friends , In 2023 , I somehow landed a wfh job as a digital marketing executive after completing an intern. Somehow I was able to earn something fr me , moreover I could answer people who were repeatedly questioning me left right and center. In order to look for a stable job I prepared for UGC net in library science and cleared it in second attempt. ,
in 2023 October , I got an opportunity to join one of the famous colleges in Chennai to join as a Librarian ( Self supporting only) , I thought life is going in the right path. I discontinued my job to join in this college . Shit began from day 1. There were existing politics between the 2 librarian s who were already working there. From day 1 I was treated like a garbage. I worked there for 6 months. I was not even alloted a place to sit or keep my bags , when I asked that incharge librarian told me , unaku kudutha avalum kepa ( the other librarian ) , nee poitu vandhutu iru , Then they did not allot even a system for me. In this day and age what can anyone work on without even a system , when asked about it she told it's not their policy to allot place or system for librarian. They did not tell me about the nature of the post. I was recruited under consolidated staff , but I was not informed about it , consolidated staffs won't even have an I'd card it seems , they said they won't give any experience certificate , No objection certificate or anything unless and until I completed 2 years there. All these were told after I joined there. I was not even let inside the librarian's room. There was a separate librarian room wjth 3 table chair setup , all three were occupied by one woman who never let anyone inside. I was made to sit and issue books for sometime , when she saw that staffs are interacting with me , she sent me to the top floor to paste stickers for books , which was clearly not a librarian 's job and there were other people available to do it. On one month I took 2 week leave due to respiratory problem , she I fluenced the finance person to hold back my salary for that month saying that I might not return , I had to constantly asking and got that salary after 4 months. She has the software access of each and every person , she had the username and password , no one can change it. By having this , she often blamed random people for not collecting proper fine , not returning books properly and made them them pay the fine amount , but she never showed proof of it to anybody. Most people there were in their 50s , one day I asked why there is no dustbin in the restroom and she replied that they do not need it so it's not there, I do not want to go indepth in this , but if you understand you understand.
I was not let to participate in anything , any events , conference , etc happening in the college , I was not allowed to interact with anyone. There were several programmes conducted on behalf of library and she did not even inform about anything , she will come , she arranged the programme with attenders , a t like she is the only librarian in the college and never let the other two people even come out of library. We couldn't do anything because she was close to the management. No one else except her from the library could meet the institution head. She monolpoized the access to each and every resource in the library and others could do nothing. Seeing all this , I was enraged and I wanted to give a compliant to the institution head , but my father stopped me saying this is my first job in this field and not to create a problem here. I tried talking directly with her , but she told , this is how it will be and it's an indecent field and that I should go and study something else to be respected. And you know what , all these happened because there was 1 Govt aided librarian post lying vacant in that college. She is in self supporting post , wanted to show only she is there and only she is the star of the library and as if she is a great leader. Finally she won. Out of extreme pressure , manipulation , lie and indecent to the core behaviour I left the job in 6 months. I HV joined in my previous company for a lesser pay . I did not even tell anything to the management , I quit as such .
I seriously cannot understand how one horrible person can bring everything in my life back to square one. I am afraid to apply for any self supporting librarian posts hereafter. After completing a b.tech degree , p.g degree and cracking a national level exam , if this is the situation , I do not know what I am even going to do. I have so many restrictions in terms of diet , etc , it's not feasible for me to stay away , relu on mess food , hotel food etc , I thought this field would be suitable for me , proper timing , not much of a stress in terms of work. but I think I HV lost it.Now I do not even have a proof that I worked there for 6 months. I just feel sad. It's not the first time , my life is being ruined by such horrible people and am really worried on seeing so many people simply using lie and insult as their sole weapon to kill others lives. It took so many years to bring myself out of very horrible things I faced , I pulled through and gave my everything for this , but alas everything went in vain.
I do not know how to navigate , how to move on from this ? . I am currently in my previous company it is flexible and has a good environment but growth is limited here. Finding a workplace that is suitable is becoming very difficult. I am not even able to take a gap because again , so many people will push me into much horrible depression saying that I am useless and I will be a maid and what not.

Our meralco bill went up to 30k this month after having an average of 20k bill in the past 12 months. A quick summary of our appliances and usual consumption:
- 2 inverter window type ACs - max 10 hrs at night only
- 1 non-inverter window type AC - max 10 hrs at night only
- 1 non-inverter window type AC (very old brand) - max 6 hrs at night only
- 1 inverter floor mount AC - max 4 hrs, 2x a week
- 1 inverter washing machine - used 2x a week
- 1 inverter ref
- 1 non-inverter small ref
- 6 fans - used at morning
- 1 microwave
- 1 desktop computer
What we have tried:
- checked if nagmahal ba yung rate ng Meralco and apparently, hindi naman as compared to last year. Either same or bumaba. What's weird is mas malaki consumption namin this year as compared to the previous years nang walang nadadagdag na major appliance (we even changed our old washing machine to a more efficient one).
- closed the circuit breaker for a few minutes to check if gumagalaw pa rin metro, hindi naman. So im not sure if it's safe to say na walang jumper na nakakabit.
Any suggestions please on how to handle this, hirap na kami parang nagtatapon ng pera every month. :(

Since the redditors here helped me a lot, I am writing this post to contribute back to this community, to shed some light that your locked account is (still?) salvageable.

Remember once you have received the email, treat this as a delicate process because you can only submit the video ONCE. The bot is stupid and no mistakes are allowed. Common mistakes are: Didn't mirror the video (if your video is mirrored); Forgot to compress the video to less than 10MB (sending video via WhatsApp to yourself works FYI). If you haven't received any replies from them after 24 hours, you can assume you have failed their verification and you have to restart the whole process again.
Once you have received an email that says "You can get back into your account". Congrats, but WAIT A MINUTE. The pointers I mentioned below is extremely important.

- Account that doesn't use real name, but have at least 1 out of 2 information that matches with your ID: Profile Picture or Birthdate. Facebook AI bot sucks at this - they will only match your ID with your current profile picture, name, and birthdate. For those using nicknames as your Facebook name and using anime characters as profile picture (like me), you're basically screwed because there's no way your official ID will display your nickname and anime characters as your photo.
- Not residing in US/UK/EU country. For those residing in these countries, you can still follow the instructions below, but I would suggest you to use more effective methods such as dedicated link for appeal or AG as last resort.
- Trapped in a unlock link loop. Thought you have passed their verification? HAHA, back to square one. And please verify your identity again. (facepalm)
- No Instagram account being linked to locked Facebook Account. If you have an active Instagram account being linked to your locked Facebook Account, there's a more effective way to do it, although you have to pay to get it solved (Yes, it's Meta Verified, but I doubt they'll be helpful in this case).

- Report a Problem: You can use your alternate Facebook account or ask your friend to help you on this, but most likely your requests are going into their feedback trash and no replies will be given.
- fb.com/hacked: Only applies when your Facebook account is hacked but not locked. Once your account is locked the system is unable to detect your account is active. You can log out and try this link, but in the end they will still ask you to log in, only to greet you with locked account screen.
- https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/260749603972907 : This is the appeal form for disabled accounts. Only applies when your Facebook account is disabled but not locked. You can log out and try this link, but in the end they will say "unable to submit", and ask you to log in, only to greet you with locked account screen.
- Dedicated links posted by some of the redditors: Their link may work, but only applies to those staying in US/UK/EU areas. If you try opening any of the links, you'll only be greeted with "The link is broken" screen.
- Meta Verified: You can try this method if your account is linked to active Instagram account, but please do not bother to try this if your account is not linked. I talked to 7 human customer supports, 3 escalated the case to their "internal team", all got rejected by them saying that "there is no connection between the Meta Verified profile and the Facebook profile you are requesting for support", which is one of my biggest mistakes I had done (I'll mention it at post-account recovery section). I even got ridiculed by one of the customer support stating that "there's life beyond social media". So ya, please do not try this method.

You stand a higher success rate if you submit your ID as well.
- Take a photo of your official ID (eg: Passport) in landscape mode using your phone camera, in a good lighting settings. Make sure the four corners are visible and you can manually cover out info like passport number without impacting the visibility of these information: Name, birthdate, photo.
- Wait for 24 hours, log in to Facebook in both your browsers and Facebook App. Do the ID verification process again on mobile browser. Note: DON'T DO IT on the app because it doesn't allow you to upload from photos, you can only take live photos from the app and the quality of the photos will be compromised. And use email as the method of communication, WhatsApp failed for me for some reason. After it's done, make sure that both your accounts are still logged on to the app and the browser. Do not clear any cookies or log out from the session.
- You should receive an email that says "You can get back into your account". If not, try no.2 and no.3 after 24 hours, otherwise they might treat you as a spam bot and barred you from submitting further. If you have received the success email, congrats, but WAIT A MINUTE. The pointers I mentioned below is extremely important.

- Make sure that your account is logged on to both mobile browser and Facebook app.
- Long press on the "Get back into your account" button and press "Copy link".

- You should have been greeted with the screen here. If you are prompted to enter a password, or you are greeted with this instead, STOP here and wait for 24 hours for another unlock link to send to you, and repeat step 1 again.
- If you are at the correct screen, continue the process, they will ask you to verify login information. DO NOT REMOVE any of them yet, you can do this later once you have unlocked your account.
- Set a new password. Make sure it's a strong password and not using any of the old passwords.
- You have unlocked your account. Hooray!
- Update your profile picture to the real photo of yours. It sucks for those who wished to remain anonymous in social media, but with Facebook's policies and more scam accounts out there it's better to be safe than sorry.
- Set-up 2FA authentication (and also screenshot a copy of backup codes) to secure your account further.
- Remove hackers' info and links (if your account is compromised).
- Link your account to active and legit Instagram account in Meta Accounts Centre. If your account got locked out again (touch-wood), at least there's accounts centre and meta verified to get your account back. Stupid me I unlink my locked account from Instagram, causing me to lose this route of getting back my account.
- Download a copy of your information and store it somewhere (and make it a habit once a year).
- Never ever take account security and backups for granted. My whole misery started when someone logged into my account at 3am (GMT+8), tampered my 2FA (that's why I didn't receive 2FA notification and my google authenticator failed), and Facebook bot decided to lock me out just like that. Even though I don't use Facebook as often now, but it's still important to me and I almost lose my 14 years worth of memories and contact lists just like that. Should I have been doing security checks and backups at least once a year, all of these won't really impact me as much as it is right now.
- Being anonymous is no longer existent in Facebook. Facebook has been infamous on purging accounts using fake names since 2013, never ever had I known that it will strike me this way by needing me to get verified using my real identity. I even suspected they wanted to purge my account because of my usage of fake names.
