Basically one of my players wants a lightsaber rifle. Yes, apparently this is a canon weapon lol. I have a few ideas as to how they might be able to obtain one (realistically they will need to build it), but the main issue is that obviously there are no stats for this weapon.
I have taken inspiration from the T7 Ion disruptor and the weapon crafting rules as well as obviously considering how the weapon appears to perform in the comics, and have come up with the following:
Lightsaber Rifle:
Ranged - Heavy
Damage -
Crit -
Range Long
Encum 6
HP 2
Slow-Firing 1
Special:
Must be used in conjuction with a lightsaber, which can be inserted or removed from the rifle with a manouvre. Damage and critical rating are determined by the crystal being used in the lightsaber powering the lightsaber rifle. The rifle also gains any qualities granted by the crystal, but not any talents.
User may choose to ignore Slow-Firing 1 quality, however firing weapon on two or more successive rounds causes the weapon to destroy the lightsaber powering it on a roll of 3 or more threats or 1 despair)
Thoughts? Obviously the cost and effort involved to construct this abomination will be considerable, but this does not feel OP to me compared to e.g. the T-7 ion disruptor?

Good morning all!
Wanted to make a small report for my tournament today win at our Local Ozarks Pauper Series. It is a set of tournaments with a invitational in October for the point leaders down in North West Arkansas area. Recent event was at Final Boss Games in Springdale AR. We had 5 rounds cut to top 8 with a cash entry and cash payout.
Round 1- Slivers with my boy Eric He stomped me pretty handedly with a Manaweft in to Heart with me being behind and unable to dismantle the board well. Game 2 goes pretty much the same with a winding way in to 3 lords. 0-1
Round 2 - The Bye 1-1
Round 3 - Mono Red with Mark Mark is a very good player and current point leader in the pauper series. We had 3 games I got stomped game 1 game 2 I clawed it back and game 3 I could not put it together. A note I did not see a breath weapon all 3 games. 1-2
Round 4 - Bogles with Hunter
This was hunters first tournament and he came with his brother in law who is a L2 Judge back with WPN Was a thing. He was playing bogles which is not a matchup I want to see on a losing streak. Game 1 I was able to disrupt enough with Counterspell and Destroy Evil eventually killing with birds. Games 2 I sided in the God-Pharaoh's Faithful and was gaining a lot of life to keep me out of range. Breath weapon while casting auras cleaned up pretty well. Beat him with 3 Kenku'ed lands. 2-2
Round 5 - RG Ponza with Noah
Noah is round 3 Mark's son. He was talking trash about blowing up my lands and I said if he did I would blow his lands up. He didn't believe me which honestly is fun. He acid mossed a land. I Cleansing wildfire his forest with 3 enchantments on it. Leaving him with only 5 green mana and him floundering for the rest of game 1. Games 2 was pretty much the same. He deglamered my bridge, I blew up a forest with 2 enchants on it. He was a little tilted but over good sport. 3-2
Cut to top 8 I squeaked in to top 8 on a 3-2 record. I was hyped because I am at least in some cash for the day. the top 8 decided to split the cash evenly leaving everyone with a 55 dollar return and we all decided to play for points as it matters for the end of the year. I play against seed 1 he is undefeated for the day on BG Gardens. My deck is leaned toward Control and Aggro because my meta is pretty much on those 2 variants. I have a Late to Dinner and Archomancer and Ardent Elementalist for control lists.
Top 8 BG with Daniel
Daniel was the number 1 seed for the day on BG Gardens. I have play a lot of BG so I know I can take it slows keep counter spell for rats and removal for what gets through. I love initiative when I get to take it with a errant bird token from a mystic. Game 2, he had relic pretty early i shifted gears and just forgot about the graveyard and just made birds and flying lands and punched my op. 2-0
Top 4 Mono Red Tron with Jason Jason is a good friend AND a very good player. Mono red tron is a weird deck but I instead thought "sure lets disrupt" Cleansing wildfire found a tower 2 times and I slowed him down enough to stick a mystic and grind him with mancer loops. Game 2 I didn't have enough land drops to keep making them so I used my cleaning on my bridge to get me to control easier. A Massive golem came in and found a relic. He started eating my grave yard while beating me down, Eventually I got torched for 11. Game 3 Decent start for me, I got to wildfire mine and ramp while he want for a slow start on mountains. He found a assembler and started hammering 4/4's in. I union of the third path and mancered it back to gain alot of life. Stuck a mystic and made birds enough to stall out the assemblers until I got a loop going to stop him in his tracks. Eventually I birded him out with 3 counterspells and a Ephemerate in hand. got a relic, got a pyroblast, He had no cards in hand and conceded after. 2-1
Finals BW Blade It was 8PM already and I am zonked. Brain dead and tired I ask if my opp was planning on continuing to play for points in the top 8. If he didn't need the points and didn't care to play the game would concede to me so I can use the points in the series. He accepted and and we got the hell out of there.
Overall 6-2 with Jeskai, I love this deck and It is a lot of fun with a lot of interactive game play and back and forth with my opponents. Loss to Slivers and Mono Red I didn't see breath weapons to those games and I heavily lean on those as well.

Since people liked me ranking the faction knight sets, I thought I’d come back and rank all types of knight sets present in the game. I managed to find 28 in my own stock and the wiki and was able to test out a majority of them in combat. So let’s see which fan favorites and slept on get swept under the rug or come out on top.
Now obviously heavy knight/endgame sets will have a blatant advantage over others so I will emphasize what I think is the best early to mid game armor set (start to when you first enter Leyndell Royal Capital) around when we reach the top 12. I’m judging based off weight and all defense stats and only, immunity, robustness, and poise. So let’s dive right in!
28: The Zamor Knight Set
Now when it comes to rankings like these there’s always gonna be the objective worst set, and here it’s so obvious it kind of hurts. Zamor knight set is the armor you wear if you wanted to dual wield two colossal weapons and that’s pretty much it. It ranks dead last consistently in everything and has solid robust resistance and that’s about it. Being the lightest armor basically means you can live out your fantasy of wielding the greatsword and the fingerprint shield at the same time and not heavy roll. Other than that, it’s just worth having in your inventory.
27: The Drake Knight Armor
What is with this game and having a lot of endgame armor just outright suck. Don’t get me wrong, ranking this by drip, it’s incredible. But holy cow is almost as bad viably as Zamor. The only thing this armor has going for it is its weight and truly that’s it. I was almost tempted to rank it last because at least Zamor is alright with Frost resist. However Drake still at least outperforms it almost everywhere else so putting Zamor ahead doesn’t really feel right.
26: The Carian Knight Armor
I want to meet the guy who designed the stats for this set because whoever did absolutely does not like Carian’s lmao. For some bizarre reason it mirrors the faction knight sets in a lot of it’s numbers but is always one decimal off for every stat. Making this objectively worse than all of them. It’s got solid magic and fire resist but as I’m saying that, you might as well just go for the Cuckoo knight set which is basically the direct upgrade.
25: The Bloodhound Knight Armor
This one kinda hurts me, hands down the most unique set of the bunch and the lore of these guys is cool as shit. But everything about this one is just kinda meh for defense. It’s not last in a lot like the other 3 but it doesn’t exactly have an exact niche situation you can use like the Carian and Zamor. It does boast pierce defense but it’s kinda the average anyways. As far as drip armor goes you can certainly do worse when it comes to stats.
24: The Eccentric Knight Armor
You get this set after killing Jerren either in Sellen’s hideaway or invading him and as far as side quest rewards go. Meh. At the point in time you’ll probably get this set, you’ll probably come across better sets. It does have better stats than a majority of the sets we’ve just talked about but all but the Carian you have to go out of your way to get like this one vs others that are not only better stat wise but easier to find, leaving you with no reason to really wear it outside of drip.
23: The Standard Knight Armor
Ah the infamous set many players put on to face Margit and Godrick. And for good reason because it is the perfect set for the beginning of the game…..afterwards this set falls of hard. Technically in regards to **EARLY, early game this is about the best you can get save for a few if you have the patience to farm them. It is the perfect definition of average, average defense, average resist, it is pretty close to the median when putting all the sets stats against each other. But once you claim your first great run, it’s probably best you set your sights on an upgrade as the new enemy types and damage will punish hard if you stick with this. But for the very start, it’s hard to say no.
22: The Fingerprint Knight Armor
Definitely up there as one of my favorite sets look wise. Definitely one of the weaker ones stat wise. It’s got some things going for it. It’s fire defense and robustness are really solid all things considered but apart from that it’s very similar to the standard knight armor. I also find it peculiar that Vyke known for his relationship with Lannsseax and lightning incantations has the second worst lightning defense of all of them. I get the fire defense and robust being as high as it is but not that.
21: The Briar Knight Armor
One of the champion sets you can get after defeating great enemies. And when it comes to knight’s it is by far the weakest one. That sounds harsh because what ya see is what ya get. For a heavier weight than all the sets we’ve talked about you get mildly better stats than all of em. But where it surprisingly seems to shine is having the best robustness of any medium weight armor. So if ya need to hit an enemy hard and are worried about frost or bleed, this might be your best bet
20: The Vagabond Knight Armor
The biggest lie Elden Ring tells you is that the standard knight’s set is better than the starter class one. Like I said in regards to Limgrave and Stormveil, the standard does indeed reign supreme. But in the long run, the vagabond set does seem to outclass it as you move along when coming across enemies with weapons and combos that inflict more than one type of damage and build up. So while yes for innate physical damage the standard is supreme. It won’t hold out when the game decides to add more later on
19: The Haligtree Knight Armor
I’ve already talked about the faction knights sets in the past so here’s the quick notes version. Some stats are really good for a medium weight armor and some are just outright abysmal. It’s a set that’s so all over the place with it’s only true talent being it’s holy defense. Other than that, you have no reason to not put on the other faction sets
18: The Redmane Knight Armor
Initially this is what I considered to be the worst faction knight set. But upon closer inspection, I gotta say it outclasses the Haligtree by a hair. Aside from Holy it does better in every other type of elemental damage, the Haligtree has the worst poise of any faction knight. So in the field surprisingly so the Redmane set does indeed outclass by just a tiny bit
17: The Cuckoo Knight Armor
When it comes to pure magic defense, you won’t find a medium armor better than this one. Boasting the highest second to Carian while not compromising on other stats like the other two faction and Carian sets do. And given magic enemy abundance in Elden Ring, this one can stick around a lot longer than the other two
16: The Mausoleum Knight Armor
Man if this had a helmet I would call this the best faction knight set. But alas I cannot. Sure the lack of a helmet makes for a lighter load, but it also opens you up to a lot more hp and posture damage than all the others combined. Now obviously in game you’d remedy this by attaching a helmet but I’m talking the pure sets themselves without modification. So I can’t exactly rank this higher despite it’s amazing medium armor stats
15: The Leyndell Knight Armor
This one has definitely risen since I ranked the faction sets, carrying a lot of the highs of the Haligtree set with only a few lows and carrying solid lightning defense. The best of the faction knight’s in fact and rivals a few of the heavy armors. If you really need the lightning defense boost, this is the one
14: The Godrick Knight Armor
Technically the best knight set you can get the earliest. You just have to have the skill and patience to farm the same enemy several dozen times. Because it’s physical defense compared to weight is one of the best you can get out of all of these. Only faltering in fire but that’s not the worst thing. This armor can easily carry you through the entire game but if you’re willing to go through some extra trouble there is one mid game armor better than this
13: The Gelmir Knight Armor
This one’s the complete package, it keeps all of Godrick Knight’s great physical while improving it’s elemental defense. On all objective measures it is the best faction knight set and is the best early-mid game medium knight set you can get in the game
12: The Night’s Cavalry Armor
However the overall best medium armor set you can get in Elden Ring is the Night’s Cavalry set. To the point where it kinda borders on just being the weakest heavy. Taking every strength from the faction knight sets and combining them into this ultimate result
11: The Cleanrot Knight Armor
We’ve now entered the Heavy Armor section of the list where all these armors are just objectively better than anything we’ve discussed so far and the only thing this comes down to is weight requirements. And Cleanrot is definitely the weakest of the bunch but does have some surprising strengths namely in it’s pierce defense and very high immunity making this ideal for mob clearing especially in the Haligtree and Caelid
10: The Crucible Tree Knight Armor
This is a weird one to talk about since these two sets share gauntlets and boots. So going off just the helmet and armor. The tree knight is slightly weaker than it’s axe variant. It’s clear strength is having the highest holy damage of any knight armor in the game bar none. Making this the ideal set to go with for the final boss. While still having solid physical defense. Although having a surprising weakness to fire damage (I mean it is a tree) but it is definitely a holy damage go to
9: The Crucible Axe Knight Armor
First off why in the hell is it called the Axe knight; any lore experts explain this part to me? Basically the only reason this thing excels over the tree variant is because it also has strong holy defense and doesn’t stink at fire.
That’s all
8: The Royal Knight Armor
Best Magical defense knight set in the game. It isn’t just oh it’s good for a knight set. It’s just flat out great for magical enemies. I will say it does struggle with mediocre robustness and especially poise given it’s a heavy set. But I think the trade off is pretty obvious here and worth it.
7: The Draconic Tree Sentinel Knight Armor
Imagine being known for lightning and you still don’t have the best lightning defense. Okay that’s mean, so while it doesn’t have the highest, it at least has the second highest and perhaps that’s better given which set does have the #1 spot in that regard. It’s definitely one of the more well rounded sets and doesn’t really struggle anywhere making this one of the better armors to main when just exploring.
6: The Scaled Knight Armor
Technically speaking this is the best mid game knight armor you can find, the only catch is by the time you find it, you’ll probably be heavy rolling it just with the armor alone, so Gelmir is still probably your best bet for the mid game. But if you’re a complete psychopath who only leveled endurance and uses the great jar talisman. Then this is the best mid game armor.
5: The Best Champion’s Knight Armor
The top 5 are just flat out some of the best armor you can get in the game, most of which are locked behind tedious farming or very tough traversal/fights. Recusant Bernhal’s armor. Having one of the most well-rounded physical defense of any set regardless of knight. Strong immunity and robustness. And elemental damage not too far behind, it’s one of the best armors you can get. If you can defeat his bs invasion that is.
4: The Bull-Goat Knight Armor
Technically speaking, this is the best armor in the game purely on defense. It ranks number 1 in like half of the defenses, and even at it’s worst it is still top 5 in the game. However one thing hold it’s back from being the number one knight set in Elden Ring. That being its weight. Weighing nearly 40lb’s this armor is reserved for very late game, post game and arguably just NG+. Because with 60 Endurance you will still be medium rolling this just on the armor by itself. That’s not adding the talismans you’ll be using, and the various weapons. It’s why you never see invaders and coop users wearing this full set because it’s just not worth it because it severely limits your weapon options. What good is the best defense if you can’t even put on an offense. But if you can manage with this weight and have an ideal light weight weapon. Then yeah this is the best armor.
3: The Banished Knight’s Armor
One of the most annoying to get in it’s peak form. The unaltered Banished Knight set offers some of the best bang for you buck defense to weight. Having only the 4th heaviest weight of the knight armors and consistently ranking in the top 3 for all stats and being the best for Slash. It’s one of the best sets to fully main all it’s components, whereas the top 2 often see more customization, but are objectively better and more feasible to pull of if you’re willing to put in the work.
2: The Tree Sentinel Knight’s Armor
Ironic the first knight you see is one of the best armors period. Having the best elemental defense of any Knight’s set ranking exclusively number one with fire. And number 2 in the rest. The physical defense is also rock solid. It’s the godrick knight of heavy armor. Master of none.
1: The Lionel’s Knight Armor
Don’t act surprised, everyone wears this armor at some point when they think the damage is what’s causing them to die so much to this boss. And Y’know what they’re probably right. The best physical defense and second highest elemental defense of any armor. Capping the stat at 99 for robustness on it’s armor. This is the armor you wear after being all about drip until you reach Malenia and Radagon. It’s just lying around in Leyndell so you don’t even need to go through the bs that is farming or questing. Underwhelming result but it is indeed the best knight armor in all of Elden Ring.

Hi, 👋🏼, I am my position is that of an all arrounder that usually subs out pointguards and playmakers and I need help organising my offseason program. I am 182cm tall rn and weigh at 64kg and after a talk with my developmental doc and looking into my growth plates, I will reach 187cm. I want to build a 12week program that is going to make me a better player overall, while adding strength amd upping my vert ALOT. I have bought the vert code but it is 4 days a week, and I heard that traing plyos this much iant that good, especially for people my age(17 on the 25 of may). Also I need help with the weight lifting part. Although i have worked out before, training for ball is different, or so i ve been told. I dont know what type of exercises i need to do or how much volume is appropriate. Last but not least i need help organising my basketball training sessions: how many times a week is the optimal, and how to organise them specifically(dribbling, shooting, defence, or are they all together).i am generally clueless because it is only now that i have taken basketball this seriously after some talks about my potential as a player and i want to put my all in it. I saw That Basketball player can for 2-3 rounds each could 30-30 mins. While the Gym trainer can hardly stay hard after 1st Ejaculation. Before that he can go for 20-30 minutes.

2024.05.19 22:44 JohnTheCynic Game Balance Requires Game Bugs to be Squashed

Too long, didn't read version: With the shocking amount of bugs in the game, there are a series of problems when it comes to balancing the game when a lot of systems might not be functioning as intended, and looking at patch notes history, you can easily come to the same conclusion I have. This needs to be addressed, but doing so has some problems us consumers might not be privy not to.
Too long, DID read version:
Balance is a hotly-debated topic on the subreddit, but most of it boils down to "X needs Y in order to Z" or any other derivative of that argument. An example would be, say, "The Liberator needs 5 more damage in order to compete with the Sickle" or "Civilian extraction missions for bots are stupidly difficult and need to be toned down", and arguments like that are fine, but a pressing issue for me is that the game has so many unintended bugs that it is almost impossible to truly gauge what system needs change simply because we don't know what the developers are intending, nor do we know what is bugged.
So, I began to review the patch notes up to today to try to find some examples, and I'd like to point out my findings.
- Patch 1.000.200 -
This is the main thing that got me into thinking about game bugs ruining any sense of balance in HELLDIVERS. People rightfully complained for a while that bots were unfun to fight because a rocket would commonly oneshot a player, and it was due to a bug in damage calculation. This had a knockon effect with Shrieker bodies previously oneshotting a player if they were hit by the Shrieker body, which was fixed in the same patch.
The game had been out for almost 2 months by this point, and the "inconsistent" charge rate of the arc thrower felt more like a feature than bug for a lot of players. For those not aware, the Arc Thrower used to be able to fire rapidly after the initial charge (~ .5 second charge needed instead of the full 1 second in the patch).
"Inconsistency" in weapon performance is also responsible for a handful of changes to weapons: the Railgun was famously nerfed in Patch 1.000.100 just before Charger head durability was nerfed and rocket penetration was normalized in Patch 1.000.102, and the PC to PS5 damage bug was fixed in Patch 1.000.203, as an example.
So far, this has been the final nerf to the difficulty of the "Retrieve Essential Personnel" mission, and it's downright laughable. If anything, it pushed back Automaton dropship spawns ~15m from their previous drop points but did nothing to the breakneck pace the dropships come in at, which is where the main complaint comes from players.
Players get around this by having 1 player stealth the objective while 3 cause a bunch of noise elsewhere, but that's unreliable at best. From personal testing, enemy spawns are centered on the player and not the objective, so once the stealth player gets unlucky with a 25% chance for the enemy spawn to select them, the bots/bugs will spawn on top of them as normal. I've heard that developers have commented on the ludicrous spawnrates on the Discord and that they'll be adjusted, but getting information from Discord might as well be torture.
An attempt to make damage-over-time weapons more palatable (which at the time were not even working), but led to the dreaded Hulk Scorcher instakilling divers. This was partially fixed in later patches, but Hulk Scorchers can still instakill via headshots.
- Patch 1.000.300 -
Once again, by the time this change was made, no word was said about the size of patrols in >4 player groups, but the design director stated that the scaling was "unintended" to be exponential instead of linear, and changed patrols to be much more punishing for >4 player groups. This, thankfully, was changed back as confirmed by Twinbeard.
On release, the Airburst was a meme, let's not beat around the bush, and Arrowhead agreed by reducing the amount of entities that would spark the fuze to the warhead. Until Patch 1.000.304, where they added back the ability for the warhead to fuze off of Helldivers. It's easy to say the most up-to-date patch is the "truest", but it begs the question of which way are Arrowhead trying to design the Airburst if they changed their mind in 2 weeks?
- Patch 1.000.100 -
The Patriot has been in a sad state ever since launch. It suffered from a bug that if the user were to fire a missile while rotating right, the user would explode. In Patch 1.000.103, the Patriot was "fixed" by restricting the missile launcher elevation controls and making the sight wildly inaccurate, and then was further gutted in Patch 1.000.200 that any launched Patriot missiles need to be a direct hit to penetrate armor; a restriction that was removed for the EAT and RR in Patch 1.000.10. Following Patch 1.000.200, it's been complete radio silence if this is the final iteration.
There are more examples, but these are the main examples I want to put forward without risking overflowing a reddit post. Bug fixed are a low priority for a live-service game (because fixing a bug doesn't drive engagement like a shiny new weapon does), but each day that goes by just makes me wonder what else could be "unintended" and will be fixed. My money's on the RR animation cancel.

And I think this is because of two things: 1 I don’t know what to do or where to start. 2 I get lazy and think that watching a youtube tutorial won’t make me rich, so why not binge watch instagram reels :)
Many people suggested that I’m a teenager and should live my life. But I really am having fun and living as a teenager. But I always have that inner feeling telling me that I need to start building my future. And I really have too much free time, especially this holiday as we’re not seeing our relatives that we usually spend time with.
I do go to the gym and play basketball, but other than that, I don’t do much in the holiday. So I’ve always wanted to start learning marketable skills, maybe make some money so save for uni/after uni. And I’d really want to end up graduating with great skills and maybe experience, having good amount saved up and no debts.
In the end, I really wanna get successful and especially spend my holiday investing in myself rather than binge watching youtube or motivational videos. And discipline myself to really work hard for my future, I wanna have a head start than anyone. So where do you recommend starting out. What should I learn now that would benefit me later?

Each player must be able to start their time at the beginning, then reach the cut at the end.
I would like the scores to be displayed on the screen? or in tab, or elsewhere?
Otherwise if it is simpler to have a general timer and to check when a player crosses the finish line to stop his time..

Hello there as a souls lover i gave a chance to the game after lots of people was sayin that the game is beatiful after 1.5 and what i found is incredible. Lots of the same enemies everywhere even after proceeding in the game, every weapon has the same moveset in dual wield and what is unbelievable is that a knife is as fast as a longsword, boring bosses with 3 moves and insane amount of dmg because without that they are just sad to beat, but this choice of artificial difficulty does not make u happy to fight anyone. I really felt like "oh no i have to fight again" and this feel in a game where the combat is the core is crazy. I feel the devs are tryin hard to save this but theres not much chance i think. The fault of the game is taking a perfect formula and twisting it to make what they thought it was a better and different version of that formula that once modified became just a boring experience. I think the game might be enjoyed by people who have real low expectations or by the non souls players, because once u try chocolate u dont want to deal with sheet lol. I feel very sorry because the graphic part of the game is really good but sadly when u have to play buttons and play that feel of wow just evolves in a shame.

*crawls from hole* What's up, it's me! The Lorekeeper! Finally back after... a while. This is going to be all over the place. Also spoilers for Icyridge part 1, go play it if you haven't.
I'm here to talk about Quincy and Suzie's relationship, since there's a lot of hints towards Quincy having feelings for Suzie. ... man TJ/Quincy shippers are going to have my head on a stick
Their relationship soon starts in Zane's Hideout, the start of their friendship. Which is a bit rocky.
Quincy initially doubts whether or not he has friends, since TJ the first person to call him a friend, left. And Suzie reassures him that he does still have friends, like herself and Player.
"You don't have to worry! Player and I are your friends still! Isn't that right?"
And Quincy seems to lean into the idea that they're friends.
"Say, Suzie. I know we haven't talked much, but I wanted to ask you something. Since... we're friends and all.
But once Quincy hears that Suzie isn't open to sharing her secrets with him and that leaves him feeling unease, what if she'll just leave him? He doesn't want to get hurt again by someone he considers a friend, to suddenly leave him again.
So, when Route 8 dropped, Quincy started to be more hesitant of letting Suzie in.
"Look. You probably have an ulterior motive for wanting to be my friend. I get it. You might've even been hired by my father to be my friend. You certainly wouldn't be the first person he tried to send my way."
And Suzie's all confused about it. She's like "What are you talking about. Do you do this with every person that tries to get close with you." Which of course, only leads Suzie to be more persistent.

But as we continue through Icywood Forest and Icyridge, we can see in a short period of time, Quincy has already gotten attached to Suzie.
Quincy and Suzie are bonding such as Quincy lending Suzie a golden capsule and letting her catch her newly acquired Doodle with a 100% guarantee. And the way Quincy acts when Suzie thanks him and promises to pay her back for the Golden Capsule is... telling.
And after speaking with Desmond, Quincy goes...
Like he feels safe with Suzie, even if he used to believe that Suzie isn't his friend. But also... the way he speaks these lines is a bit... off. The way he ends his sentences with the typical "..." like he's whispering or shy.
Just something to take note.
Skipping forward... We're now at the meeting with Silvier. (I refuse to give this man any ounce of respect after picking TJ) and TJ appears, then once Suzie calls him "pathetic" TJ hits her back with the:
"You aren't participating in the key hunt, you aren't even a tamer. Do you have a crush on one of us? Why are you following us?"
Okay first of all, this line is super specific. Why did TJ have to suggest Suzie has a crush on one of them? Unless it was foreshadowing something.
Skipping ahead again when Quincy and Desmond are at the Help Center, if you talk to Quincy first. You get the line.
"Why did Suzie have go and get arrested?"
First of all, his concern is on Suzie and not TJ. And even though Suzie said to focus on saving Anna, Quincy thinks about Suzie first. And when you talk to Desmond, Quincy's the one to mention Suzie getting arrested (if you don't pick the 'Suzie got arrested' dialog)
"And Suzie disrespected the Captain Silvier to the point of being arrested."
---------- Okay now let's get to the MEAT of this analysis. The dungeon scene.
Quincy is the one doing the talking with guard Tinsley, as per usual. Player ain't talking that much. He speaks...
"We need Suzie's intelligence, it will help us in protecting Anna. I'm sure you know that Anna is in grave danger."
Then suddenly the guard Tinsley goes
"Oh, I see how it is..."
And with the line
"I don't know what you're thinking, but it's definitely wrong."
It seems as if Tinsley has caught wind of.. something with Quincy, why else would Quincy say it like someone's thinking that he has a crush on her?
I mean... Tinsley even goes ahead and gives Quincy the Key after Player beats him. Like hello? It's like he's trying to set them up. Even Player can choose to set them up, they have two options for dialog.
LIKE HELLO?? Of course I decided to pick "Nah, Quincy needs you." And his response practically confirms everything.
"W-what? What are you saying? I need her as much as you do!"
And Suzie goes
"Why are you acting so strange, Quincy?"
Like this implies that Quincy is acting... a bit nervous than he typically is.
"It's nothing. I felt a Rosebug crawl up on my back or something. Sorry. I lost my composure there for a second. Darn Rosebugs."
There is no Rosebugs down in the basement. He's getting a tingly feeling like a Rosebug crawling up his back. ... He has a crush on her, doesn't he? Like it's so obvious.
You can keep playing match maker and say "It was all Quincy" when Suzie asks who contributed the most to obtaining this key for her cell. And Quincy goes
"That is NOT what happened."
Like he's being all defensive about it.
Of course, this is my take on things. But interesting that you see Quincy to react in a way he only does with Suzie. Like bro is stuttering in that cutscene, muttering and mumbling stuff under his breath. And Tinsley seems to imply that Quincy indeed has a crush on her.

Type of play: Slow burn, some days I can write lots, other days my RL might limit me.
About me: I’m 34 years old, I have a dayjob, And I write a fantasy book part time.
My GM experience: 7 years, with 8 different campaigns (Homebrew, Enemy within, W:DH, DotMM, CoS, ToA, LmoP, and some shorter runs like ToH, FoF, DiT etc.), two of them are still running, with 5 players in each. (Tabletop)
Rules experience; D&D 5e, WHFRP 2e, Dark heresy and Mechwarrior: Destiny.
I am looking for two different solo players, one for each solo campaign.
What I hope to I get out of this myself: 1. Fun 2. Writing experience 3. As a creative tool for my worldbuilding and story ideas.
First game is set in the world of the book I am writing. - Modified homebrew D&D 5e ruleset, to fit the magic system in the book. - Setting 1570-1620s level-technology, Similar setting to Europe / The Levant. - Just humans, animals and monsters. No elves or orcs, sorry. - I try to maintain a high degree of Plausible realism in everything. - Magic is present, but it is seen as rare, dangerous and exotic. - There might be some limitations on what type of character you can play. for instance: you probably have to be human, and you won’t start with magical abilities right away. - Your character might have a story related to the book, or it might not. Depends on what type or character you come up with :) - No heavy ERP in this game. This isn’t Sword of Truth, and I won’t sully my work with you perverts! ;). Tasteful could maybe be okay.
Second game: - Open for anything solo pbp, really! Hit me with a suggestion, but preferrably something within a rules system I already know. (See above)
