 | I got my rook 1.5 months ago. Surprisely I have 4 other ear cartilage piercing (flat on other ear) all healed. I've just cleaned it with saline max 2 times a day. (To prevent over cleaning + I heal better when letting it do its own thing) So far it has been my less problematic piercing. Pretty much no pain apart from when I hit or sleep on it, slight swelling and a 2/10 which goes away after a few hours. I'm usually prone to piercing bumps and haven't gotten any at all yet. Like any healing piercing it's swollen and crusty. I'd rate the experience 8/10 so far. I'm seeing my piercer soon for my cheak up and hopefully downsize. Hi, I (29F) have been having sharp abdominal pain on my right hand side for the last 2 hours. It is around my lower abdominal area and it is a very sharp pain that lasts 1-3 seconds and happens around every 3 minutes or so. For context, I have endometriosis (diagnosed early 2022 and had a laparoscopy where it was removed) and am currently on my period but I have never experienced sharp intermittent pain like this. Usually my period pain is more consistent and dull although still painful. I’m concerned it is something more serious such as appendicitis or ovarian torsion maybe? As many with endo, am scared to go to the Emergency Room to wait 8 hours and be told it’s nothing (last time I went with abdominal pain, they told me I was constipated. I saw a private gyno and he then diagnosed me with moderate endometriosis after laparoscopy surgery). Apart from endometriosis, I am overall very healthy and have no allergies/intolerances. I live in the UK. Please help! Any advice or experiences are appreciated. Thank you.

But I now have a spot I reserved on my new deck for a 6+ unit and want some more elaborate functionality and better aesthetics. I have been unable to find a lot of guidance - no reviews of brands or options. Here's what I *think* I want (again, no articles to offer guidance, so not sure: 1) Great but not top of the line grill 2) Refrigerator under counter 3) Sink maybe on one side of the counter? 4) I am wondering about a side grill on the other side of the counter? 5) Maybe a trash drawer as that seems the tidiest and most safe from animals 6) Ideally a little storage under counter for supplies I've attached some screenshots of examples I've seen. With no sense at all of their quality or value or even brand reputation. I don't know if side grills are necessary. How often do most people use them? If they are just for sauces, maybe this is a waste of space and money that I can prepare inside in the kitchen? Is there a way to do veggies right on it instead of in a pan? Can't I just put them on the main grill on a higher rack? All insight or links to articles welcome. I have seen 6' wide units with most of this, but also 8' might be necessary? Cyclops shoots beams and I think he can absorb beams(?) but take a bullet or super human punch and he should be out.
Jubilee and Gambit I assume are in a similar boat to cyclops.
Sunspot seems like he has a Johnny Storm thing going on, so I assume while his sunspot form is flaming on, he has enhanced durability and all sorts of suped up stats. Might be able to survive most conventional weapons.
Beast seems like a sabertooth type, just amped physicals all around albeit at rather low super human levels. Probably still dies to a high powered rifle. Probably should be above Wolverine but isn't.
Rogue seems like she has superman level durability at times, and then at other times she's one shot by a sentinel that everyone else goes toe to toe with. She might also have a ki like thing going on where she needs to concentrate?
Jean has some dbz style power struggles. While her shields are up, I assume she is basically indestructible but has a low power bank. No passive durability I assume, only when she's actively engaging her shield.
Not clear Nightcrawler has any amped physicals at all, but he seems like Spiderman like with his agility so probably slightly amped to maintain the stuff he does.
Storm I would assume doesn't have any durability feats except she changed her clothes magical girl style, so I assume she has similar command of the elements as Magneto but at a lesser level, so she can armor up with electrostatic discharge or something.
Magneto I give the same bump as storm but he only controls one force so he's prob better at it. I would assume he can magical girl he clothes too but chose to remain naked. Probably magical girl's his hair to keep it long and flowing tho.
Forge id assume can do some techno bullshit to have strong physicals.

Morph I assume is a jar of goo and can reform if he melts, t-1000 style. If not, at least mr. Fantastic level / monkey d Luffy rubber bending ability but without the creativity to use it well. Can adjust density of his forms at will.

- 1 tablespoon ghee
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- ⅛ teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 green chili chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic minced
- 8 curry leaves optional
- 1 tomato diced
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 cups water
- ½ cup red lentils rinsed and drained (masoor dal)
- 4 ounces baby spinach
- 1 cup basmati rice rinsed and drained
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1½ cups water
- Add ghee, cumin seeds, turmeric, green chili, garlic, curry leaves, tomatoes, lentils, salt, and water. Give a quick stir.
- Place the tall trivet inside the pot. Add rice, salt, and water to the stainless steel pot and place it over the trivet. Note: This step is optional.
- Close the Instant Pot with pressure valve to sealing. Select Pressure Cook(Hi) and adjust the pressure cook time to 5 minutes.
- Allow 5 minutes of natural pressure release and then release the remaining pressure manually. Open the Instant Pot and carefully take out the rice bowl and the trivet.
- Mix the lentils with a spatula. Add more water, to bring the lentils to desired consistency. Dal will thicken as it cools.
- Add chopped spinach and mix well. Cook on Sauté mode until the daal comes to a gentle boil.
- Enjoy hot with steamed basmati rice.
- Substitute Masoor dal with moong dal or Toor dal. If using Toor dal or Chana dal increase the pressure cook time to 10 minutes.
- You can also make dal without pot-in-pot rice.
- If you like to temper the spices, heat the ghee in sauté mode. Then add cumin seeds and sauté for 30 seconds. Then add garlic, green chilies, and curry leaves and sauté for another 2 minutes. Then add the remaining ingredients and follow the rest of the recipe

Long story short our apartment had a fire and during the process the ceiling and walls came down on some of our belongings. They did an asbestos test and found 7% chrysotile mastic and 2% joint compound in the debris. While the abatement company was clearing up the area we asked them to bring out some sentimental and irreplaceable items out, particularly non-porous ones that they could wipe down or were encased in something. They took clothes out of closed containers like bags and suitcases and bagged them and said they were fine (other than any smoke damage). They did bag some clothes that were loose and had debris on them (which they said are not as safe) but we will likely be disposing of those. Some other hard items were wiped down and boxed and they said those items are also safe to handle, even allowing us to take items out of the boxes while the air monitor was present. We have kept all these items stored away securely for a while and are not sure how much we should really be keeping of this. We plan to wipe down the hard items again and washing the previously enclosed clothing many times, but I really don't know how much of a risk it is to be keeping any of this. A lot of these are very sentimental and important items and we really don't want to be disposing of most of them but aren't 100% sure how to minimize the risk and if it's worth keeping if the long-term risk will always be significant just by having the items and wearing the clothing. What should we do?

I’m 5’3 193lbs (lost 5lb already of prob water weight) 27yo and have had 2kids. I have been eatting 1575 calories or around, trying my hardest to do 30g of protein 3x a day and do more protein than carbs but they come close, I don’t eat processed foods, no alcohol ever and for a week my diet has been eggs daily, fresh fruit, chicken, veggies, cottage cheese, just fresh as much as possible. I’m doing 30-40mins of weight training 5x a week followed by 20-30 mins of hiit cardio 7x a week. Ive also been taking 2 30min walks a day when I can averaging 6,000-8,000 steps a day. With everything stated am I ok to be on the right track? I also would speak to a dr but it’s a 3 month wait till I can be seen. Any advice is helpful, ideally I’d like to come close to 150lbs with currently being 188lbs in the 8 months, but I’m not worried about a number so much as just slimming by a few inches and feeling confident in clothes. Am I eatting enough? Am I doing enough exercise to hit my goal?

Hi, I (29F) have been having sharp abdominal pain on my right hand side for the last 2 hours. It is around my lower abdominal area and it is a very sharp pain that lasts 1-3 seconds and happens around every 3 minutes or so. For context, I have endometriosis (diagnosed early 2022 and had a laparoscopy where it was removed) and am currently on my period but I have never experienced sharp intermittent pain like this. Usually my period pain is more consistent and dull although still painful. I’m concerned it is something more serious such as appendicitis or ovarian torsion maybe? I am scared to go to the Emergency Room to wait 8 hours and be told it’s nothing (last time I went with abdominal pain, they told me I was constipated. I saw a private gyno and he then diagnosed me with moderate endometriosis after laparoscopy surgery). Apart from endometriosis, I am overall very healthy and have no allergies/intolerances. I live in the UK. Please help! Thank you.

Books and movies are chock full of battle plans that aren't possible, armies so big passing through mountain passes so small it would take actual years for the whole army to cross, perpetual lack of knowledge of the tyranny of the wagons, and in the case of Project Serpo, not knowing a thing about fuel.
See, the book stated that they brought with them, 1500 gallons of fuel for their litany of military vehicles.
There's two big problems with this.
First, the effective lifetime of fuel. Gasoline stays "good" for 3 to 6 months depending on condition. Diesel for 6 months to a year. With the 10 month travel to Serpo, their fuel would probably be useless when they arrive, not burning well enough for their military vehicles.
And even if it did, armored vehicles are like the Canyonero. They get 1 highway, 0 city.
An M1 Abrams tank actually burns 1.5 to 3 gallons of fuel per mile. Meaning that whole 1500 gallons could get them about a thousand miles of travel out of their armored vehicles. That's nowhere near enough fuel if they're actually planning on doing much with them, and it's certainly not enough for a multi year ongoing military operation.
But, 1500 gallons sounds like a lot to someone who didn't sit down and put pen to paper, and they didn't consider the possibility that fuel could go bad. So they write it down to make their theory seem far more plausible than it is.
Now you might say, but what about the hundred other obvious reasons this is clearly made up nonsense?
To which I say, well, now there's 101 reasons.

On Belos, I love how in this show about a bisexual Latina witch learning magic in a demon realm, the villain is another human, but he's a straight, male, religious zealot. When I first saw him, I was like "Please don't be a villain because you're a straight man", but after the end of the story, I understand perfectly why he was a villain because he was a straight man. Belos is an extremely accurate depiction of how insecure men try to oppress and invalidate everyone else, while simultaneously pretending to be the hero. Also kind of telling how Luz is a human from the 21st Century, but Belos is a literal witch hunter from the 1600s. Luz also calls out his hypocrisy when he says he wants to eradicate monsters, but has become a total monster himself. He also wants to eradicate magic, but stole all the world's magic in trying to achieve that.
I loved the final scene with him, where he tries to abuse Luz' morality by saying "If you kill me, you won't be any better!" and Luz doesn't even give him a word and lets the boiling rain melt away the disgusting creature he is. Simultaneously, the boiling rain doesn't harm Luz and bounces off of her. She isn't just better than him, she's become more than he could ever be.
On the Soundtrack, It's pretty damn amazing how The Owl House theme on a glockenspiel and orchestra sounds like Generic Magic School Story #3, but on an electric guitar, which is what's used in the actual show, the vibe is completely different. Almost scary and dangerous, but in an electrifying way. It's a variable composition, so to say, one that completely changes its feeling, depending on the instrument, which is amazing.
I also like the little misplaced notes at the begining. This piece goes at full speed immediately, so those notes serve to get you acquainted with the beat before the melody takes off with zero buildup. It also fits thematically, though, like someone actually messing up the first few notes while trying to play this on a guitar. It fits the teenage vibes of this whole show, especially how it's an epic coming-off-age for Luz, which simultaneously becomes a hero's journey.

My lil guy eats on Sundays and he has been taking his mice consistently and without much need to tempt him. I just bring it in front of his face with the hemostats and he goes for it almost instantly. I watch to make sure it goes down all the way without any issues. He has been such a good eater for me.
I'm a newer keeper and this makes me feel like I'm doing something right with my husbandry since I feel sometimes I do struggle with maintaining a high enough humidity (I do everything I've been told to but my apartment is just very dry) and a good temp gradient. But now I wonder if he takes it so easily, is he just really hungry and am I feeding him enough? He is a little over 1 year old now and I have been feeding him as the reptile store instructed.
I'm curious if I should increase his feedings or the size of his prey. He takes adult mice once a week, and has just been such a great eater for my first BP. He typically starts acting hungry and restless about 5 days after feeding but I wait the full week as that's how he ate before I got him. Should I consider switching to rats or jumbo mice soon? He is technically still a growing boy so I want to make sure he eats enough.

She rocks it so hard and I think it’s beyond cute. I couldn’t find any leopard linen I was satisfied with, so I made mine from black linen I had on hand. I used the Ruby Vest by Syd Graham Patterns. I made a size 8, which is actually a size smaller than recommended because I wanted to ensure a closer fit. I’m very satisfied with how this came out. I am a midsize girl, and I hesitated making something that explicitly hides my waist curves lol. It’ll take some bravery to wear but I’m trying to stretch myself to be more fashionable!
