Hi, first time posting here, please excuse my ignorance. I don't have a tech or coding background at all so I'm not sure if this is possible. I was wondering if it's possible for a bot to download files from a site that requires a login and has a point system. I was planning to put an ad on upwork to hire someone to write one for me but I want to know if it's possible before I post an ad. Essentially I would need it to download txt and epub files for me. I know it’s old but I love the look of them and can’t afford a newer one, I only want to use it to study on as I have a laptop for personal use.
It’s running macOS Catalina 10.15.7 which seems to be the latest version for it. But it came with a USB that has installs for both Catalina and sierra which the seller didn’t explain why ( I didn’t even notice it was in so I didn’t ask). Is there something I need to do with these before setting it up.
I’ve also noticed just from quickly downloading chrome and adding my google account that it’s running frustratingly slow. What can I check to improve this? Maybe even upgrades I can do to it.

We're looking at replacing our aging fleet of Vipers (both wash and profile) with profiles from either Ayrton or Robe. Either of the LED engine fixtures SHOULD be noticeably brighter based solely on the Viper's lumen output of ~32,000 vs the Forte & Huracan at ~50,000. I was trying to work it out on paper (prior to a shootout at some undefined "later this year"), looking at photometric data available from the respective manufacturers' websites, but none of them give me comparable long throw (40 meters) lux/distance figures at nearly equivalent beam angles.
From what I'm reading though, at wide zoom the Viper is 920lx at 10m, while the Forte is only 424lx at 10m. Which doesn't seem right. One would think the LED engine fixture would be higher.
So if anyone can take a glance at the Viper Wash photometrics (very basic) vs The Robe Forte (more info than I need) and tell me if I'm missing something.
Also - any former Viper users who've gone to a comparable LED engine fixture - specs be damned, how much of a difference has the upgrade been to your shows?

I am a T-Mobile Home Internet user and have had it for the past six months or so. It's had its ups and downs but for the most part it was pretty good given my location. A solid 100 - 300 Mbps download and 12 - 21 Mbps Upload. Not great, but definitely usable.
This month we went over our data limit of 1.4 TB and ever since then it's bee massively slow. T-Mobile says they'll bottleneck us during high-usage hours, which makes sense. The thing that doesn't make sense is that a Mac on the opposite end of my house is still getting 90 Mpbs Download while my Windows 11 laptop, which is in the same room as the router AND directly wired up through Ethernet, is getting anywhere from 0.9 - 20 Mbps. Using Ethernet vs WiFi makes no difference. I am running these tests at the same time through Ookla. The Upload speeds are still consistent between the two devices.
All of my drivers are up to date, I made sure the Ethernet cord and connections are clean and dust-free, I've reset the router countless times, but no avail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I will answer any questions you may have. Thank you so much!

I installed SillyTavern on my M2 MacBook Pro some time ago, and it's been working fine ever since. Now, I want to update to 1.11.8; for some reason, it does not work. I have tried everything, including re-doing the installation from scratch, re-installing Node.js, and trying the SillyTavern launcher, but I still get this error. We want to purchase a subscription to MS Office (Word and Excel primarily) but would like to do so through the Apple ecosystem with our AppleID to join all the other purchases and subscriptions we already have. We do NOT want to create yet-another-account with Microsoft.
The language around Microsoft software in the Apple App Store seems to indicate that should be possible, but when I installed the "Microsoft 365" bundle from the App Store I was given no option to select what type of subscription I wanted. Now that I have the software downloaded, all of the "Activation" buttons within the software ask me to sign into or create a Microsoft Account.
I have found online discussions of people who do have a subscription through their AppleID, listed amongst their other Apple subscriptions, so this was at least possible in the past sometime.
I am located in Canada in case that makes any difference. The website for the Canadian Apple Mac App store does list the "Microsoft 365 bundle", but not the prices, while the listing for MS Excel does list in-app purchase availability for "Personal", "Personal Monthly", and "Family".
