I'm interested to hear your thoughts primarily on the draft results in this scenario. This isn't a tankathon season, but definitely an accelerated rebuild. Trae's actual value is difficult to gauge, and most people in ATL overvalue him. So, for the hypothetical, let's assume the trade is solid and we are moving forward without Trae.
Trade:
HAWKS-Young, CC, 2028 2nd (CC is salary filler)
FOR SPURS- Keldon Johnson, Zach Collins, 2024 1RD (4th), 2025 1RD (Hawks); 2026 1RD pick swap (hawks), 2027 1RD
Draft: Sarr (1), Topic (4) Lineup: Move DJ to 1; DJ/Bog start in the backcourt, with Bufkin/Topic in rotation, situational. We keep Hunter. Frontcourt is the primary rotation of JJ/HunteOO/Sarr.
Outcome: Roll with this crew, and let DJ take the reigns. We'll be bad, and that's good with some good draft capital in '25. I'm cool with keeping DJ through his contract, or we could unload him at the deadline if we really want to just completely tank and Topic looks like he's legit...but he gives us a little star relevancy. So I have very important exams in 15 days But instead of revising and doing preparation suddenly my brain decided to fuck things up . I don't even know what's wrong with me . Like idk , I just can't look at books without getting these anxiety pits in my stomach. Even if I'm thinking of a topic that I'll do it's like I'm gonna combust !!!! And I take adequate breaks too . So it isn't like I'm overworking myself . Idk what's wrong . And it's not like this is my first Rodeo at these I have given them in past too . Never felt this insane level of blankness .Like everything I have prepared in the past month is gone .

Our league has been around a while and bounces back and forth between E3 & G1, and due to an upcoming roster vacancy, and our goal to maintain Elite status (push to E2/E1), we’re looking for 1 new player.
We’re a casual league (no LvL opponent “assignments”), but we do use discord to communicate more easily. Discord is not a requirement but it would be useful for new players to join discord for helpful hints, PSA’s, chatting easily, etc.
League requirements are to do all 3 of your daily LvL drives (or let us know if you need to miss a day), and take on opponents that match up with your ovr (avoid taking lower ranked defenses if you have a higher ovr than other teams in our league). Should also aim to do all 3 drives against the same opponent.

If anyone just arrived here and think they can learn about personal finance and get useful advice from this sub, my only advice is to leave this sub and don't even look back. This sub is simply an echo chamber of people echoing useless, low impactful, financial advice.
If getting out of the rat race is your goal (ie: not spending the best 40 years of your life in 9-5 work, waste 1~2 hours in commute everyday, have absolute no chance to retire early and enjoy your life while you are physically capable), then you need to stop follow 90% dumb advice from this sub.
Take a look at the T1(RM10,960+)/T2(RM15,039+) of T20 threshold in our country, look at Credit Suisse and UBS global wealth report, or check out World Inequality Database, you will find that the net worth threshold to get into Malaysia 1% is merely RM1.5~2mil, that amount can't even get you into 10% of US and 99% Malaysian don't even have that.
What I'm trying to say with above paragraph is, asking for any financial advice here is like asking another guy that struggle as much as most 99% Malaysian do, and expect them to give you a million dollar financial advices.
Most people here don't even have ways to improve their income, they don't even have the wealth for them to learn about managing their finance, 99% of the advices here are dumb with zero financial sense, it's joke for anyone that had proper degree in finance.
90% of the people here don't even know how to explain the logic behind diversification and thought putting some money here and there is call diversified.
Anyway, here's an advice from the T0.1% to you all, stop listening to the parrots here that only know how to echo dumb advices, go look for some proper finance education which many are free anyway, learn the real underlying logic behind every finance decision, and if you want to discuss finance, go discuss with people that are having foundation in finance, don't discuss with 99% Malaysian that are still struggling here.

I know this specific combo (or combos) have been discussed a lot, but when i see these posts i often see either an answer between the lines of "Just go full Rune Knight, speak with the DM for flavours" or one like "I am doing this specific combo which works well because of this thing"
So i decided to ask more clearly the question in his own post.
If you are here, it's because you like Blacksmiths. You just do. And Dwarves. Dwarves good.
And i like the concept too. It would feel really good being the literal smith of your party, not in a "sciency" way like the Artificer (which feels more like a cyborg inventor or steampunk smith) and neither in a specific "niche" like the Rune Knight, which just uses runes, or the Forge Cleric, which basically just buffs an item till you sleep.
We want to be a full blown Blacksmith, the full package. A true smith is capable of doing all of the above, maybe by sacrificing his own combat strength: after all, we ain't warriors.
So....how can we make this work? That's what i'm asking. I'll explain what i think but keep in mind that this is what i am asking: make a TRUE BLACKSMITH, not just some guy buffing things temporarily or a freaking Tony Stark with power armor. Take Ornn from League of Legends as an example
My idea is Rune Knight 12/Forge Cleric 6/Artificer 2. The order would be Cleric 2 -> Artificer 2 -> Fighter 7 -> Cleric 6 -> Fighter 11
Artificer - 2 Levels is really just enough. Going too much into Artificer would need us to have a good INT score and we already need STR, CON and WIS. We don't need to be more MAD. We can still make a +1 Shield and +1 Weapon permanently (for flavour reasons, it would make sense to do this on our own ArmoShield and Weapon. Until we change our items it would feel like we actually permanently improved our items, instead of infusing them)
Cleric - 6 Levels, +1 AC, temporary buffs (THIS is the infusion: as blacksmith, we prepare our party for battle: sharpen the weapons, make armors more sturdy, and infuse just a bit of magic when needed). We can also create things as long as it's not over 100 GP, and we are resistant to fire. We won't use that many spells of the cleric, and if we do, we will avoid Spell Attack Rolls and Spell DCs. Focus on bless, healing word, aid or any spell that doesn't use your wisdom: it's our third primary stat, it won't be high
Fighter: We get our three attacks, all the important stuff, and we can now actually inscribe runes.
Tips? Suggestions? Problems? I just want to be a blacksmith xD

Beat down by the system, killed by interest rates, shitty investments, crap jobs, broken promises, disappearance of the American dream. These hedge fund assholes wake up everyday and laugh at us, they take and take and take until we are gum on the bottom of boots. We pay taxes, they raise them, you buy a car, gas goes up, you buy a house, interest goes up. You work and you work so that some rich asshole can use the loops holes to get richer while you wonder if you can buy groceries to feed you kids the next day. I've been beaten down to many time to settle for a 5k or 10k pay out, I want life changing money, I want to be able to go to bed and not have to worry if I will have enough money to make it til my next pay check. I don't want to chose between working and spending time with my kids. If you are like me, and I am sure there are way more like us than the hedge fund pukes. Then let's stick it out, let's turn the tables on them, let's take out piece. Excited to say I found out Wednesday that I passed transportation version of Civil PE on my first attempt. Took the test Monday 5/6. I used a combination of EET on demand course, path to PE practice exam, essential guide to passing the transportation civil pe exam, and NCEES practice exam. I studied for 2.5 months, probably right around 120 hours, mostly 1-2 hours on week nights after work and 8 hours or so on weekends, ramping up with long practice tests the weekends before the exam.
The bulk of “learning” was done through watching EET videos at 1.5x speed and working their practice problems and all of the quizzes. I scored 70-90% on every quiz and practice exam that I took, so felt fairly confident going in. The most important thing in my opinion is definitely working through practice problems to get familiar with the references, and your calculator. The closest representation to the actual exam for me was the NCEES practice exam, but I completed this in about 4.5 hours and scored 85% so I do believe it was easier than the actual exam. While I found the essential guide to passing helpful in learning the topics, it is MUCH more difficult than the actual exam and in my opinion not a good representation of level of effort of the exam problems. EET quizzes were somewhat close to the exam with some questions being much more difficult, particularly the traffic/HCM section.
I cannot compare the new and old versions of the exam since this was my first attempt, but as someone who works in the transportation field, I believe it is a welcome change and makes the carry over from work experience more significant. It will likely make it more difficult for those that are taking the EIT and PE in a short timeframe since the studying for the EIT is not as applicable anymore at least specifically for the transportation version of the exam.
The biggest things that I found helpful for the exam were time management and reference familiarity. Practicing in a timed setting similar to the exam is key, and knowing that you should only need roughly 50/70 (discounting the “test” questions NCEES throws in) can be a huge confidence boost when you run across some questions you just cannot figure out, which you likely will. I finished the exam with 1.5 hours remaining and left feeling pretty confident that I likely only missed 10 questions at most.

Pro play will never stop being boring until they make champion pools wider, and the only way to do that is to do fearless draft.
For those unfamiliar, fearless draft means a team can only pick the same champion once per series, this means every player has to play 3 different champions ins Bo3 and 5 different champions in Bo5.

I'm gonna keep this brief as there is a lot of details.
When me and my youngest father broke up, he wanted to have contact with his son, AND my son from a previous marriage. And how he had requested to spend more time with his son, but not my own own son, who I have full custody of, which he requested at first?
When the youngest dad and I first broke up, he wanted to see the kids every evening. He used to have them, make them dinner and I would go out. He would used to go through my drawers, bins and house when I wasn't there. One time I actually watched him going through my bins, and then denied he ever did that. Sometimes when I got back home, he would ask what I was doing, even though it was none of his fucking business. So he started making excuses to why he couldn't come and see the kids. He didn't like the fact I have 2 hours of freedom per day. Then we agreed he came 4 nights a week. Which he did for a little bit then again, started making up excuses why he couldn't see the kids. On a Sunday afternoon I used to go and have a nap. He said there should be no reason why I am napping on Sunday afternoons. I said if I want a nap, I'm gonna have a fucking nap. So one afternoon when I took a nap, he waited till I was asleep, then texted me he was taking his own son out, and not my other kid. I didn't respond because A) I was napping B) I'd thought I'd put my kids with someone who was trusted. When I woke up and realised what he did, left a 6 year old autistic kid home alone, I threw him out. He said it wasn't his fault, my kid isn't his kid and never said he wanted to see him (untrue I have messages to say he wanted to see both children) So I lost my shit and told him he is only allowed to see the kids on a Sunday afternoon, supervised. I actually told my landlord's Mrs and she bollocked him for it. He was still denying fault and saying everyone he spoke to saying it was my fault. Just to make me seem like an asshole. He couldn't be bothered to even wish my own son birthday or got him anything. Said wasn't his child and not his fault. Spoken to my landlord again about this, and he even saidhe was a dickhead. (This is relevant later) He wasn't brought up like this as his younger brother's father still sends my youngest son's dad birthday and Christmas money and card. So anyway Sundays were going well, but then I found out when he had the kids, he spent most of his time on his phone, huffed and puffed because the children didn't fit his idealism. Then he started getting excuses to why he couldn't come and some of them were bullshit. (This was the part when I realised he was seeing someone and getting sex was more important than seeing his own child) He then started complaining that he was missing out on seeing them and worried they won't know who he is. I basically told him to grow up, it's his own fault for not showing up. The kids started to much rather be with me and got bored of him within 10 minutes of him visiting. He's complained it's my fault because I wasn't allowing him to see the kids (like wtf)
Anyway, recently he has requested to see his son every other weekend. It hasn't even been 2 years, he's requested change of visitation 4/5/6 times (I've lost count) and still couldn't be bothered to show up, whether it's sickness ( and yes, we live in the same town, and even declared this still saw him working).
My youngest son is a safe guarding risk, (very highly likely of special needs, recent theory is ADHD with low Autism). If his dad can't cope with 3 and a half hours, which he chooses to when to visit, how can he cope with a weekend?
Like I said, there is more to the story, but to help you all visualise it, the path we are going down is coming to these conclusions, either the dad fucks off, or the child to tell him to fuck off, or the contact as it is, and in 5 years time my youngest son, I have put into therapy because he isn't the child that his dad has visualised in his head, and has issues.
So AITA for not letting extra visitation.

Me S (f22) and my best friend K (f21) have been friends since 9th grade. we became fast friends and since then we have stuck together. So the problem started when we went to college despite the fact that we were in the same college huge coincidence and had classes in the same building we hardly meet During COVID she broke up with her then boyfriend and had started dating a new guy. I think she cheated but she swore she never did even though she posted about the new guy barely a week after she broke up with her boyfriend of two years. The problem started then. after covid we met up for the first time and when I went her boyfriend was there. I have never meet this guy and she didn't tell me he is coming but was like okay no problem. I can't emphasises how much I don't like this guy first of he was not vaccinated which is fine but the reason he is not vaccinated is not because it could be bad or health reason but because his religion said so. next he has a younger sister and asked him about her he was like she is not allowed to date because she is a girl she needs to come straight home after school she was in class 11 that time. She can't go to friends parties even in restaurants and is not allowed to leave without any male. It would have made sense if we lived in an unsafe place but we don't. When it came to paying the bill I though we will split in three ways because obviously three of us were eating but no we only split it half as she didn't want her boyfriend to pay so I had to pay for his food too. Fastforward three weeks I was at my internship and I got a call from my friend in Singapore to check my bf's snapchat story and I was like it must be funny that she is calling me from Singapore no it was not funny it was rather a video of him pleasuring her. he put that on snapchat my friends was trying to call her but she was not picking up and it had been up for twenty minutes so I called her and she finally picked up after informing she thankfully took it down but I thought she would surely dump him. I mean it takes a lot of steps to post on snapchat she said he was just sending it to himself. I left it there because what more can I say. that is when the real problem started anytime I wanted to hang out he was always their and it was getting really annoying I tried telling her that I just want us to hang out as I wanted to talk about stuff. Her other friends tried making plans but she cancelled everything saying she is busy or sick even when she was posting that she is out with her boyfriend. FFORr 2 years I this was going on I meet with her alone once that was on my birthday but she ditched me early to hang out with and told me to lie to her mom if she called. we were 21 then I said I am not going to lie where you are in school it was fine as we are young and stupid but as adults we need to realise about our own security. she was like fine and left with him.

Mornin... after searching and not finding hardly anything about vulva cancer, I decided to join after seeing some older post from some of you that are in the same boat as I am. Like many stories I have read, I waited forever to go to the Dr. I had not gone to the gyno for years after having my daughter, who is now 23. #1 I didn't have insurance and #2 as most women do, I hated going as much as I hate going to dentist lol I had so many problems during childbirth, that just traumatized me from going. I had Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma in my early 20's and was on high doses of steroids that just caused so many problems to my body, especially reproductive organs. I went to my primary care doc about a month ago and just graphically him what was going on down there. He chalked it up to a yeast infection and referred me to the gyno, which could take 6 MONTHS! I told him I don't have that long. I went to a free clinic 3 days later and the Dr's eyes got huge! I ended up in the ER 3 days later. I couldn't take it anymore. Luckily, I was put under for the biopsy. I had heard that was painful, just getting the numbing shot. The report says the one they biopsied was 3 cm. There is alot going down there and my skin was splitting and just going to the bathroom was like peeing needles. I have other tumors down there and some in pubic bone area and a week ago my lymph nodes started swelling. Was referred to the top oncology gyno surgeon for this, she gave me some lidocaine jelly for down there (has helped some) . She said if they did surgery right now, it would be the pelvic exenteration which is a horrible extensive surgery. They take everything! She is sending me to a gyno radiologist, who I see next Thurs and will have that along with chemo. This is a rare cancer and can hardly find anything about it, much less a forum with anyone that has gone thru this or is going thru is now. I have my pet scan next Thurs. Any advice, sharing stories would be much appreciated.. thank you ❤️

What is TC Motorfest ?
TCM is a game made by Ivory Tower and published by Ubisoft, it is a 3rd game in well known by now franchise called The Crew. Now short history about franchise. First The Crew was released in 2014 and it was something fresh to the racing scene. It had and still has one of the biggest racing games maps and it was a scaled down version of whole USA. Game was focused more on a social side where to fully enjoy it you had option to play in a crew with friends hence name The Crew. Fast forward to 2018 where we get sequel called The Crew 2 (very original). It took same formula from the crew 1 with same map but added ton of disciplines and was starting to adapt festival vibe from horizon games. It had some downgrades from first crew game mainly in graphics but it didn't stop it to become most successful crew game. After long 5 years we finally got new crew game. It was more of an spin off as it didn't continue with having numbers in its name and adopted a Motorfest name. It is also full 180 from previous 2 games. It takes place on much smaller map based on Hawaii but with smaller scale it is also much more detailed. Graphics also got updated massively compared to the 2nd game. Physics were redone where cars now feel more like cars and not toys on plastic tracks. Audio was also massively improved. With Motorfest they gone full into the festival theme to the point it feels similar to horizon games. They interduce playlist system as a way to progress the game. It is basically themed events like for example donut media, Japanese street racing, Prosche history, Hoonigan and much more. Game still focuses on social aspect where you can join other peoples crews and explore together.
Why I want it ?
Simple I am a fan of these franchise. I played first and second crew game and I done 100% of both game and even aced all events. They are very fun games for completionists and generally fun chill games for scratching and open world itch besides horizon series.
About 90% of first and second game I completed with my close friend but for now in motorfest if i get it I will play solo until he gets better pc.
Also I heard it is good fun on a wheel so why not.
Why I can't get it ?
Well I don't have any means to pay for it. Reason is that I don't use credit cards. If I want to buy a game I usually grind cs2 cases or doing small jobs on the internet but I don't have time to do that as it takes very long time to actually get any meaningful amount of money.
Also I am saving money to do some much needed renovation to the house.

With Motorfest they gone full into the festival theme to the point it feels similar to horizon games. They interduce playlist system as a way to progress the game. It is basically themed events like for example donut media, Japanese street racing, Prosche history, Hoonigan and much more. Game still focuses on social aspect where you can join other peoples crews and explore together.
Why I want it ?
Simple I am a fan of these franchise. I played first and second crew game and I done 100% of both game and even aced all events. They are very fun games for completionists and generally fun chill games for scratching and open world itch besides horizon series.
About 90% of first and second game I completed with my close friend but for now in motorfest if i get it I will play solo until he gets better pc.
Also I heard it is good fun on a wheel so why not.
Why I can't get it ?
Well I don't have any means to pay for it. Reason is that I don't use credit cards. If I want to buy a game I usually grind cs2 cases or doing small jobs on the internet but I don't have time to do that as it takes very long time to actually get any meaningful amount of money.
Also I am saving money to do some much needed renovation to the house.

I think it's time to go. I''m being abused at work, getting help from the union and fair work are taking too long. I'm being underpaid. I can't get a a new job in my industry as there are no other jobs in my industry where I am. I can't move. I can't afford to leave work and look for a new job. My husband is exhausted, stress and just done mentally physically and emotionally. We can't make our bills. My parents will not stop criticising us. I have no friends. I got into a fight with my sister and we're not talking. I hate that. I feel like I lack social skills and I can't sort out myself. I just don't know how to be what everyone wants me to be. Or what that even is. I can't trust anyone. There is no help. I don't see a way out. I'm done.

Here I am again. After getting moms house cleaned up and getting her SSA finally applied for and headed her way, dads business almost closed, and a LITTANY of other things done, (the list is a months long feat I did in 5 weeks), and also caring for mom with dementia. I had signed a POA for mom so I could investigate her bank accounts. I found lots of financial abuse by methadone sister. Haven’t turned her in yet.
On May 2 I was served with a restraining order and notice to vacate my mother’s house by my older billionaire sister. Little sister convinced her I was the bad guy and that I was causing harm, stealing, blah blah. Older sisters emergency guardianship was overturned in court yesterday by a very stern judge who quickly saw through the BS. (Plus I provided the court text messages that both of their entire affidavits were based on lies).
Judge granted me guardianship of the person and granted older sister guardianship of her estate. This is common practice as they do not want people stealing elderly and moving them out of state, stealing their assets. However I can move my mother to Florida now, as she has begged the court and begged me since right after my father passed in February. After 90 days if all is well, the estate is turned back over to us.
I throughout all of it I kept having this vision of sitting with my mom on the boardwalk of the beach by my house and watching the sun come up. In my vision I see myself turning to her and saying “well, mom, we did it.” I kept telling her throughout all of this that it’s going to be okay, we are going to win this. Her attorney ad litem kept telling me the judge is NEVER going to let her go to Florida.
Thats not the way things work apparently. The court was held yesterday in the 200 year old courtroom in a small Texas town square courthouse (no metal detectors, judge wore a cowboy hat) it was RAGING storming, judge just wanted for mom to be happy and be safe and keep her assets safe. After a trial period her estate will be released back to me. LOL judge said, “Everyone will get along and treat each other with respect. EVERYONE. Or we will have another hearing and it will not be fun for you.” Basically, the judge told my abusive older sister that she’s not allowed to abuse me anymore or else.
I so very much appreciate the laws associated with this whole process. Without them people like my younger sister could just strong arm everyone away from the scene, keep mom’s assets and keep neglecting her. Adversely, if I were a person of the quality of my younger sister and lived out of state, I could “steal” my mother with dementia and her assets and take her across state lines making it a very large, very expensive task to recover it all. I appreciate the laws for that reason as well, that could have been a possibility for younger sister if she was feeling flighty. So all in all it was a win. More work involved with of course certificates and bonds required, but mom gets what she wants.
In a few weeks she will be watching sunrises over the Atlantic and petting chihuahuas and gardening with me, making bread. Thank God for that judge. She was to the point she was refusing help from anyone but me. I can’t imagine how things would be for her if the outcome had been any different. Probably assisted living/borderline nursing care. God is good!!!

I have $20k (6%) in a car note for a 2018 Chevy Cruz, I love her but between the car payment per month ($447), insurance ($200 where I live), gas and parking (at least $100 a month). According to Kelly Blue Book the car is worth between $11k-$13k, so I’d have to take out around $9k in a 401k loan to pay off the remaining balance in order to sell the car.
For context, I have 4 more years on the car loan and the 401k loan would be for just 24 months (I have a feeling I can pay it off earlier tho with my savings/commission I get every quarter). My payment would just be $414 per month and the interest rate would 9%, but of course that interest would be going back into my 401k instead of the bank for my car vs almost $700 with a car.
I would love to hear what some of you all think and would suggest. Thanks!
