The aim of this post is to make sense of what we know of Kalpas in light of the new informations Boothill gives us about his faction in Penacony. While there is no actual evidence of Kalpas being a member of the Galaxy Rangers, it would at least explain some plot points that remain unclear to this day. I tried to make the theory as comprehensible as possible for people who only played Star Rail. This post contains very minor spoilers for In Our Time (version 2.2 main quest of HSR) and Honkai Impact 3rd.

Exhibit A: Kalpas's origins

Countless meteors will streak across the sky. These "meteors" are Galaxy Rangers coming from all corners of the Cosmos, driven by a shared purpose, without questioning the cause or counting the cost.

In version 2.2 we learn from Boothill that the Galaxy Rangers travel through space on meteors. That's not unheard of in this universe:

• the Sky People use the Vanguard Stones, which look like natural asteroids;
  
• Raiden Shogun's Good Evening suggests something similar about Aether and Lumine;
  
• Akivili would disguise the Astral Express as the trail of a shooting star;
  
• finally, our boy Kalpas reached Earth on a "rock" which fell from the sky.

Kalpas was an alien who crushed down on Earth during the Previous Era. He forgor 💀 his past upon landing, which is why we never find out where he came from or the reason he arrived on our planet for. He was immensely strong, to the point of being able to keep up with Sakura, an experienced MANTIS (a warrior genetically enhanced to fight the Honkai). She even stabbed his heart but it kept beating out of pure sigma energy. He then joined the war on Honkai on humanity's side and eventually died during the fight against the Herrscher of Finality on the Moon.

Exhibit B: the lives Kalpas spared

What brings [the Galaxy Rangers] together is a shared bottom line. Never bully the weak, never kill the innocent.

When Kalpas landed on Earth he entered in contact with a Honkai-stricken village. The people who lived there had never seen someone slay a Honkai Beast before and considered him a god for it. They imprisoned him and tortured his blood out of him, hoping it could be made into a cure for Honkai. Kalpas could have easily broken free anytime and killed everyone he wanted, but he did nothing until the Honkai killed all the villagers. Why did he let them torture him? Was he stupid? The explanation given in HI3 is that Kalpas felt lonely; which is kinda ridiculous in retrospect. I think there is a strong argument to be made that he simply chose not to use his strength against those people. Why? Maybe because a Galaxy Ranger would never "bully the weak". While the villagers were certainly doing something horrible to him, they were just a bunch of scaredy cats locked between the hammer of Honkai and the anvil of superstition.
Kalpas later fought another MANTIS, Kosma. Kosma could power up by devouring other beings, and Kalpas happened to look mad tasty. Kalpas was much stronger, but chose not to go all-out and spared his life. This is also perfectly in line with the Rangers' beliefs: in reality Kosma was but a well intentioned kid, trying to get stronger to defeat the Honkai and save the world.

We've stayed silent for too long. Now, it's time to remind all the cowards, oppressors, and villains of the universe of our presence!

If you've read this far without any prior knowledge about Kalpas you must think he was a really nice guy. That'd be a somewhat controversial take. He was universally considered a merciless monster and a danger for anyone around him, allies included. In order to contain his fury, Aponia used her psychic powers to impose a Discipline (a command he could physically not disobey) upon him: "never harm innocents". A neat coincidence.
However, Kalpas still went on to ruthlessly murder a bunch of soldiers who killed Sakura's little sister out of fear she could turn into a Herrscher. It's explained that not even Aponia could stop him because he simply didn't consider his victims innocent. The fact that his behaviour didn't change at all after receiving the Discipline tells us that, for what we know, he might have always been acting like a proper Galaxy Ranger would. After all, weren't Honkai Beasts and Herrschers oppressors to the weak humans? Did all the people who lived in the Previous Era deserve to suffer hell and die? Kalpas took it upon himself to defend his newfound home and threaded his fated path along the Hunt with his own resolute sense of righteousness.

Not fully sure what is causing this crash but the areas work fine in clear or overcast weathers, and only crash in more intense ones. Also worth noting the areas do not immediately crash during these weathers, only when loading into them during one of the weather types. For example if I set the weather to be foggy whilst in Diamond City everything works fine and I can move around normally, but if I enter and then leave Nicks office during this weather it is a guaranteed crash. I originally thought it was due to Gas Masks of the Wasteland but the issue persisted even after I'd removed it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The last 18 months I have manufactured and advertised a food product that has been gaining huge attrition and my biggest problem is this:
I don’t have large enough machinery to follow up with demand. And I’m only in one large retail store. I have contracts to two other large retail stores if I can up my production and will be in their shelves if if production increases.
Here’s the case: A large corporation want to join in on the venture. They have been in the same business for over 50 years (although my product is in the same category it is far from what they usually produce) My product is something fresh and fitting for the younger generations and other kinds of people this company hasn’t had a market for.
This is little information but it’s all I can give you
My options are:
Sell 40-60% of my company to the larger corporation and my problem of production will be gone. We will add 2 more large retail stores to sell the product and even new forms of the product
The other option is:
Keep expanding myself (I calculate that it’ll take 5-7 years to get to the level the other corporation could get me in one year)
I’ll work more hours, have less advantage on the market and have a probability that other larger companies will start to produce my product.
I know this is small information but after reading what you have.
What would you do?

We've all been there, and I'm not seeing a lot of straightforward answers on this subreddit. So, I'll lay it out in the open. The following can make or break your printer and, if not appropriately maintained, affect your printer significantly. I struggled to figure out why my printer went out of whack, and it wasn't fun, primarily due to a lack of experience. I'm new to 3D printing. Anyway, below are the things I’ve learned that you can benefit from.
Extruder: Loosen up the extruder all the way, and where the screw stops is where you will start. Do full turns in the origins of the screw point 5-6 full turns are enough to get indentation on the filament, which is good. (No indentation is bad; too much indentation is very bad. (gears can wear down quickly if it is tensioned too tightly)
Filament: Try drying your filament. They don't always come moisture-free, and getting a dryer can help along the way and improve print quality (Do not ignore this, please, for the love of god)
Pom Wheels: They must grip but also be loose. To make sure, they should be able to move in the other direction with enough force. (This applies to all wheels, both on the bed and the frame)
Frame: The frame must be square. If it's not, it can cause issues (Still reading into this problem)
Brass Nuts: On the z-axis, there should be two screws. Please make sure they are tight enough and tight enough. It can cause binding/banding. (Work with it. I recommend using this to check print quality and to see if your nozzle is too far or too close and or binding and banding on the Z-axis ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2134978 )
Z-Rods: Do yourself a favor and buy lithium white grease for your rods. It'll help 100%.
Print Nozzle & Bed: This requires a lot of experimentation. I've gone as high as 220 degrees on the PLA and have seen issues 205-215, which is what I recommend using, and as for the bed, 60-65. It all comes down to tweaking and messing around with settings.
Filament: Drying your filament is a must. No matter how it comes packaged, it will contain moisture if it isn't dried. It doesn't matter if it has a silica packet; I guarantee it will have moisture, and yes, it will affect your prints. Don't be like me, please.
Bed cleanliness: Please, please, please! Clean your bed. It can visually look clean, but I guarantee it isn't. You've probably gotten your fingerprints, dust, etc., filament all over it, which can affect how your prints stick.
Belt Tensioning: Tighten until you feel resistance. It isn't always easy to work with, but be the judge yourself. Turn until you feel Resistance. Refrain from overtightening. And do a half-turn. Pluck them, and they should sound like a tuned guitar. I know it sucks.
Leveling the bed: Use a piece of paper or a feeler gauge to ensure it drags. You should be able to slide under it, feeling it slightly grip, but you should also be able to slide it in and out without problem. If it's digging in too much and you can't move the paper or feeler gauge, then that means you are too close to the print bed.
