Last year I made an Etsy account. I made a few listings, and only ever sold one item (net profit from that was 6 pounds ). I’m extrapolating from arguments seen in the visual and musical fields.
AI is trained, that means it emulates human learning. Many artists and musicians do not agree with this fact because they have an emotional stake in the outcome.
It is now harder for them to get work because we can use AI to generate art and music (and magic) directly.
They are angry because the training process was in part on their work. They feel like their work is being used to create profit for somebody else.
In reality, we all train on each others work, whether in art, music or magic. AI is simply tech that makes the training hyper-efficient.
So that’s about the scale of the context.
Now, I can just train my AI directly on all of my work and ignore the nuance of how my work is influenced by other people, where their work was influenced by mine, by my community etc. we don’t have to really look at the crediting situation in any detail- if I just train my AI on my work, that is probably a simple solution, that’s probably what most people will do anyway, right?
But that’s why I’m putting it out to the magic community first-
Do we think that actually the AI should also be trained on the crediting, is this something that we as a community might want to work on together?

I've seen many fall for the hype of quick success. For example, a creator claimed to make $30k in 30 days but spent $12k on ads to achieve that. All good with that—but he is selling online courses on how to start a clothing brand, so I want to break it down:

• $30k revenue (this is what he claimed to make on Shopify)
• $12k on ads (this is the ad spend I have seen on his account)
• $4,500 on product costs (750 t-shirts at $6 each; I'm just guessing these numbers—I personally spend even more on product costs since quality is very important to me—but it could be that the creator buys them cheaper)
• $2,400 on shipping (400 packages at $6 each)
• $2,000 on other expenses (photoshoots, fulfillment services, Shopify fees)

I've been accumulating a moderate amount of Bitcoin over the past year and a half. I don't have that much, but I'm a believer in it.
I have a friend (not US citizen) who is going overseas to work with a non-profit and I'm planning to support him with $30 a month. And I'm wondering if I could send him Bitcoin instead of USD.
I don't think he knows what Bitcoin is, so by doing this I can 1) promote Bitcoin adoption, 2) introduce my friend to it, 3) make him richer as Bitcoin grows (if he doesn't cash it out).
But I have no idea how to do this lol. All I have is Bitcoin in cold storage in a Blockstream Jade which I withdraw from an exchange. I've never transacted with it before.

From my personal experience, Zyn is more addictive than smoking or vaping. I've been trying zyn to quit smoking, but I've found that the non-immediate release of nicotine is much more addictive. My conclusion is that if you want to quit nicotine you just gotta do nic patches or just quit warm turkey; Slow it down until you get this awful habit out of your life. Nicotine is terrible. It's only societally acceptable because its profitable for whomever stands to benefit from people being addicted. It is more convenient than vaping, which is why i quit vaping in favor of smoking ciggies(they smell bad and if you don't go outside ur a dick). The long(er)-release into your system gets you even more hooked because rather than just a hit, packing a lip, (or an upper-decky as the cool kids say (im 22)), gives you a dome that can be 10+ minutes. Bad. It's preying on addiction just like any other nicotine product. It's all predatory.
