I (31M) have a nesting partner Amanda (33F) and a LDR girlfriend Jen (30F). Amanda and I live in the US. Jen lives in Europe and we have never met in person - we met on a video game and have been dating about 5 months.
Amanda and I booked a trip to Germany together just before Jen and I met. Jen lives in a neighboring European country (don't want to give too much detail). Over the past few months I have asked Jen if she would consider meeting us in Germany as the flight is only an hour long from her country to where we will be in Germany. She has said no, that we should wait until we can have at least a week together as having a couple of days together on this trip would be too little.
Now that Amanda and I are in Germany, I am feeling very sad that Jen is so close by and she is not interested in meeting me, or my partner. I offered to pay for her flight snd she still said no. She became very upset with me for being sad and wanting to see her and said it was unfair for me to even be upset.
For reference, my and Jen's potential week-long trip would be in January. I love Jen and would jump at the chance to meet her. If she were in the US only an hours flight away, I would be on that plane in a heartbeat.
Reddit please, am I being unreasonable? I love Jen so much and I feel so heartbroken that she isn't jumping at the chance to meet me, like I would for her.

- Respecs: You will get access to infinite level, P organ, and legion arm respecs around ~1/3 in
- Upgrade materials: plentiful, dropped by enemies, and option for infinite purchase. If you're enjoying a blade, level it, you'll have more when something new comes along
- Damage stat is unimportant early: You'll get a large portion of damage from your upgrade level, I beat the game with 5 motivity, 15 technique and wasn't lacking for damage. Level your health, stamina, and carry weight
- Which start?: Personal preference, dex. Many boss weapons favor dex, as do some good handles. You can still get your greatsword fix. Strength is primarily if you want the really big bonk. You can shift to quality long term. Also, see the previous point
- Tell me what blade to upgrade since I can't decide: Bone cutting saw, longest blade, highest damage outside the big bonk ones, and you get it shortly after infinite +3 materials. Salamander dagger to +3 before that
- Handle?: Booster glaive and Dancers have far reaching charge attacks, favor dex, and have wide horizontal slashing movesets. You can crank anything to quality. You get 9 or so of each, so feel free to experiment
- P organ: You can respec so don't worry too much. Dodge, pulse cells, amulet slot. You can level extra phase 1/2 abilities to unlock 4/5 faster and skip bad abilities (aka everything but pulse cell in phase 3). Fatal, stagger, stamina, and pulse cells in the sub upgrades are hard to go wrong with. Staggerable duration is valuable later on
- Lying: Act human, play (to completion) records you find. There's wiggle room, so don't worry too much
- Combat: One extra tidbit, charged heavies that make enemies staggerable will also stagger immediately. Good synergy with extra stagger charge attack upgrade

Is anyone else absolutely disgusted with Todd Howard's Empty Promise when He Said The Show wouldn't Change Too Much The saysits Canon while Secretly writing out the History of Fallout 1&2 tactics, BoS , Parts of Fallout 3 and New Vegas.
I would like to say this is a theory and I'm tired of seeing all the misinformation about the series overall be rewritten, Glanced over or Steamrolled completely over for whatever happens next.
Gecks don't Exist. Stanislaus Braun apperently dosent exist Cause he And the team at Future Tech working With made those Cold Fusion Packs. General atomics Dosent Exist. Power Armor apperently never used to use cold fusion. Transportation wasn't revolutionized to use it either Position Oil's Role on the PANEL well they don't seem to be anywhere. WHY IS SHADY SANDS IN THE BONEYARD Vault City? The Ghoul Would have Existed during the Masters Reign of Terror. The Original West Coast BoS, He may have even Seen Big Ol Frankie He would have seen Enclave and been In the area to witness the Original Vault Dweller, The Chosen One, The Courier and the Sole Survivor. He would have seen Heros and Villians Come and Go. Vault City Fire up a GECK, he would have seen The Shi rise up. Yet running around all that time searching 200 serchin... nothin? No other vaults seen? No other Vault tec facilities found? No secret military bases pumping out MONSTERS. NO seeing Death Claws Nothin
The only hint he barly gives and its so kissable because you can only put it together if your very lore and location detailed.

Starting with Wilzig. We know he's Enclave. So the Enclave survived and still has the capacity to Rebuild Mariposa because That's exactly where they were in those seens. They didn't make that supermutant we saw. They pulled it from the rubble. Yes all those dogs were Clones, being run through Behavioral Training and seeming attached with Radio Trackers Or Control Modules. In this fallout world I'm gonna guess Dogs went Extinct from being killed off by Vault Tec and The Goverment to Ensure Resources Were Freed Up. We see Barb mention this in the show. Now we know the Enclave Knew About Dogmeat. And how Dogmeat Helped out bringing down the master. Dog eats remains were Found in that same Forcefield Generator partially intact.
CX404 is the 404th Clone of Dogmeat.
The only mention of this is when Cooper is having a flashback about his dog. He says this.. I'm sorry Dogmeat. No your not him. Meaning either Cooper Knew the Original teasing that Cooper did meet the Original Vault Dweller. So Either Coops Just a Mutant Ghoul like Herald with a fuzzy long term memory that's Sharp enough to remeber faces and names after 200+ years. Or It's just more Bad writing leaving plot holes and Betheada silently and sneakily Trying to conform the Entire Fallout History Timeline and Major Players in those events shown and told in just Fallout 4. Cherry picking what Will make fans happy and new comers in awe going wow cold fusion? WOW Micro Fusion Cores.. this must be how it is caus3 Todd Said so.
They showed a destroyed New Vegas meaning and no Airfield. No lights no robots. Not a sign of life They show the 38 sign broken down. Going to Guess Battle of the Dam went to the Legion. But they aren't overrunning everything so no legion No NCR, No Outcast Brotherhood.
No Future Tech. No New Plague. Nothing showing signs that Season 2 will address any of this.
It looks like they are pushing the Vault Tec Did started the war is canon despite Bethesda own games being contradictory to that.
Feel free to rip it up but I had to break down the dates of all the mass fusion Events leading up to the Actual Fusion Core Breakthrough and how they just used the old infrastructure and fission wells in most places. How cold fusion Existed before Moldiver unless I missed her Saying she worked under a Brillient Mind who would try to ensure by creating the GECKs and cold fusion that America might Win the war with Cold Fusion Powering Transportation, weapons and power armor. (The first 4 fall outs) because it's Not Effective at large Scale Operations sure a Geck can run a city but not for long and is designed to Power the Matter Replicator So all the Basic Building materials for a city could just be easily replicated. They are also Designed to be used By a Vault which had Fusion Power plants.
How is the T60 so prevalent when the brotherhood Held Those in the highest regards of Being Holy Relics.
I can't be the only one to have these thoughts about it and I can only hope and prey season 2 and the Next Fallout game don't use the Lore Setforth in season 1.

If West Coast ghouls except Cooper are radiation based and don't start with the Gamma theory. Why does Huffing what I can only Assume is modified FEV or PEV KEEP THEM FROM GOING FERAL. If they in season two explain the ghouls are a result of Prewar experments started by Mass Fusions legacy of everything they made Starting the Ghoulification process decades before the first bomb fell.
Ok now you all may take shots at it. I'll stand here like a Viper who time forgot.

Man it’s been a rough couple of weeks for me, I’ve never truly been feeling so down and depressed like this ever. It just gets more and more painful everyday and it’s hard to cope. I’ve been trying to find new things to take my mind off but nothing motivates me anymore. I used to play games religiously and now I’ve barely touched one in weeks. Been really looking into getting a bike, not bc of the risk of life but so that something makes me happy and takes my mind off my sadness and depression, even if it’s temporary.
It’s hard to be alone, I’ve been alone my entire life, sure I have friends but it’s not enough, I want more, I want to give more. I’m 24 and never been in a relationship, every girl I’ve liked either has rejected me indirectly or they are just unavailable or wrong for me. There’s this girl I work with that I had so much feelings for, it was crazy I just couldn’t stop thinking about her. We went together on a work trip a while back and it was an amazing week to spend with her. Sure she didn’t have a choice and “had” to hang out with me after work and going to dinners and we had a good time talking about life and stuff but I know she would never look at me anything more than a friend and tbh the more I learned about her life and past, the more red flags I found but yet my feelings never changed, if anything it grew even more. I don’t think I truly liked her but moreso I feel so lonely I attached myself to her, so it’s probably not as genuine.
It’s gotten better, I don’t think about her a lot but still feel something for her. I’m trying to do better, after I got back from the trip I felt like shit and drank about 4 shots of vodka the night I flew back and talked out my feelings to my friend. I’ve never been a big drinker, only socially I drank which would be 2-3 months I would drink once and I never really liked to drink and never understood why people liked to feel buzzed but recently I understand now why people drink, a way to escape and I hate to say it but I’m enjoying it.
A part of my motivation to get a bike was bc of her, I just need something to distract myself with.
Anyways I just needed an outlet, if you read all that, I truly appreciate your patience, you’re an amazing human being.

So to give some background, I've (20F) known his friend since first grade and we were friends throughout elementary to the beginning of high school. We were on the same bowling team and had the same friend group, which is where I'm at Frankie (20M) (fake name used). Now we fell out of touch during COVID and lost contact. A few months ago I went onto a dating app and matched with Frankie and we started dating right away. I was very happy and surprised that he was still in contact with Kevin (19M)(fake name) and then got back in touch with Kevin. Frankie and I Called and texted every single day and hung out Every chance we got, especially on Discord if we couldn't find time physically. This is where we get into the story. Now Frankie wasn't supposed to let me join their call or game whatever you call it but I wanted to watch him play his games while he was with his friends to see what it's like. He didn't put up a fight about it and said OK, and we started to call while he was playing games with his friends. Then out of nowhere, Kevin starts saying I hate N-word hard r over and over and over again. Going on for almost 40 minutes. Frankie was very apologetic and asked if I wanted to leave the call and I said no, It's fine. This is up to you to talk to him about because I'm not supposed to be on this call. He informed me that they Have talked to him about this before and he just doesn't care. Kevin knows that Frankie is dating me and is plainly saying this in front of Frankie. I was also hurt that Frankie didn't say anything to him while it happened and also didn't bring up how hurtful It was when he was dating someone that is black. Kevin is also just not a nice friend at all and is always standing up The friend group and Frankie personally too. I don't know how to bring this up to my boyfriend without crying or giving him an ultimatum because this hurts deeply. What do I do? Am I the asshole if I tell him to stop being friends with him?

I'm an older gamer. I won't say how old, but let's say my first multiplayer PC shooter was Quake 2. I work. I game to unwind.
I have been waiting for a good VR shooter since I was a kid reading about the metaverse in books like Snow Crash, Neuromancer, etc. I had played other shooters on Oculus (fuck you, Meta. I will never call it the Meta Quest) like Onward and Pop 1. They were fun, but felt lacking in one way or another. Enter Breachers. Reminiscent of R6, yet unique. I was blown away. I thought, "this is gonna be big." I told my friends about it. I thought (and still think) this could be the first big competitive shooter for VR and could really kickstart the industry which so many theorized would come to dominate the way we interact online.
However, it seems to me that Breachers is going through growing pains. I've watched as the community has grown, and have been delighted that the devs' hard work has paid off. The game is plagued by bugs. One week it's server issues, the next it's audio issues. I know how difficult it must be to maintain a codebase while keeping users happy, so I'm very patient in that regard.
What I can not stand is the toxic, often much younger, players I encounter every fucking time I play. Im no stranger to shit talking, or even vulgarity. I was around for the golden days of Xbox live. (A lot of dudes fucked my mom, apparently) What I can not stand is the racial slurs and high pitched SCREAMING into the mic. Or the kids who seem to be on too much (or not enough, whatever the case may be) Adderall. They completely ruin the experience. Once in a blue moon I will land in a lobby with mostly older players. It's awesome. There's a bit of shit talking, as is custom, but for the most part people are engaged and actively trying to cooperate to win. These iPad kids will poison this game and drive players like me (with, you know, jobs and money to spend) away. Permanently. I know there is a disclaimer that says VC is monitored, but it does not feel like there is enough enforcement.
I just want to be able to block someone. I don't want to queue into a lobby if they're in it. If I'm in a lobby, I want their connection to be refused. If this makes it so my matchmaking takes longer, so be it. What I think will happen is toxic players will naturally quarantine themselves as more and more people get tired of their shit. The only other possible solution I can think of is 18+ lobbies, but that would be incredibly hard to enforce. Just like Reddit uses upvotes and downvotes to crowdsource the filtering of content, we should be able to filter toxic people from the community. Reporting people feels like it does nothing.
Maybe I'm just too old for gaming. Which sucks to think about because I've had a controller in my hand for as long as I can remember. If that's the case, then so be it. But I suspect there are others out there who feel as I do and just want to enjoy the game with other people who want to work cooperatively.
The mute function is fine for players who talk a bit too much, or have very high pitched voices. They're a bit annoying, but not so much that I'd never play with them again. This is not enough. Playing this game well requires communication.
Please, don't fall into the trap that games like Rust, Among Us, and DBD fell into. I'm sure the devs know better than most that there are mountains of cash being poured into VR development. There have been VR shooters before Breachers, and there will be many after. The game that manages to moderate their community such that the experience is not ruined for the average player will take the crown.
What good are all those dev hours spent on new maps and updates if people do not play your game because of the toxic community? This game has so much potential. Don't squander it.

The only other possible solution I can think of is 18+ lobbies, but that would be incredibly hard to enforce. Just like Reddit uses upvotes and downvotes to crowdsource the filtering of content, we should be able to filter toxic people from the community. Reporting people feels like it does nothing.
Maybe I'm just too old for gaming. Which sucks to think about because I've had a controller in my hand for as long as I can remember. If that's the case, then so be it. But I suspect there are others out there who feel as I do and just want to enjoy the game with other people who want to work cooperatively.
The mute function is fine for players who talk a bit too much, or have very high pitched voices. They're a bit annoying, but not so much that I'd never play with them again. This is not enough. Playing this game well requires communication.
Please, don't fall into the trap that games like Rust, Among Us, and DBD fell into. I'm sure the devs know better than most that there are mountains of cash being poured into VR development. There have been VR shooters before Breachers, and there will be many after. The game that manages to moderate their community such that the experience is not ruined for the average player will take the crown.
What good are all those dev hours spent on new maps and updates if people do not play your game because of the toxic community? This game has so much potential. Don't squander it.

Disclaimer- I am planning to talk to a doctor or therapist about this soon but thought I'd ask those who already have been diagnosed have have the same experiences/symptoms
So I've been suspecting if I really do have DID, I've been doing excessive research on dissociative identity disorder after hearing about it and been relating to others experiences, I've been closely monitoring myself more recently I've realized I tend to loose a lot of time and not remembering multiple days in a row occasionally, I can tell there's others like I'm not spending time alone with myself. There would be times where I'd zone out, almost like sitting in school listening to a long lecture, but it would be different where i would zone out and then come back either doing something else, in a whole different room, or just waking up when I know I was just awake playing a game or talking to someone. I've also noticed myself almost slipping from conversations, where mid sentence I'd just stop- like everything in my head that I was just thinking about basically gets memory wiped and it usually takes me a good minute to recollect myself and remember what I was just talking about even asking the person what I just said. There's a lot more I could say but these are the main things I notice basically all the time.
