In 2011, I paid liike 12-13 000 SEK, or about 12-1300 dollars, for a high-end PC with an intel i7 2600k CPU, AMD Radeon 970-something, and 16 GB DDR2 RAM.
Now when I look at high-end PCs, I'm looking at like 3-4000 dollars!
What happened? Surely inflation alone can't explain a 150% price hike?

I'm about to purchase my first AR-15, and since I live in Sweden the options are a bit more narrow than for across the pond, but not catastrophic. I'm looking for a complete rifle as I can't be bothered with the multiple license application hassle since the BCG, upper reciever and barrel are all individually license parts over here when purchased separately. I'm going to use the rifle for competitions like IPSC/USPSA-style, general plinking and possible some fun long-range target practice.
I like things that are sturdy and keep working even if they get a bit dirty or dinged up, which is why I'm shooting a stock Glock 17 in competition even thought I know it's a disadvantage against people shooting more expensive handguns like CZ's, Tanfoglio's, Walthers etc. Think Mil-spec with a bit more flair. I guess what I'm saying is that if there was a zombie apocalyse I would like to be able to sling the rifle on my back and head out in the woods not having to worry about a little dust.
First of all the prices over here are a lot higher and possibly not really weighted similarly between different manufacturers as in the US either so take that into account. I'm a person that always chases "most bang for the buck" in whatever area I'm looking to spend money and would rather add a little extra and be happy than be a cheapskate and regret it later on, so my budget is not set in stone but I'm not looking at a brand new JP-15 Match Ready Rifle or a monolithic LMT.
However there are some options and I'll just list them below in no particular order with a quick note beside to let you know what my thoughts are:

- Daniel Defense, various models and barrel lenghts between 10,3" up to 18" - mostly looked at the DDM4 V7 Pro 18" which is about 3500 USD if you convert the price in SEK to USD, give or take.
- Ruger AR-556 MPR both 16" and 18" - seems like a really nice rifle all-in-all, but alot more pricey here than in the US. Around 1700 USD which I feel makes it a bit less worth for what you get for your money.
- Aero Precision - there are a couple nice ones for sale, both 16" and 18", complete rifles with fluted SS barrel, M4E1 loweupper, chambered in .223 Wylde, Atlas S handguard (would rather have the full pic-rail tbh.) etc. for around 2300 USD. This is currently what I'm most interested in as it fit my budget and seems to be alot bang for my buck. Unfortunately I can't find any BCM retailers in Sweden so I can't do the Aero/BCM reddit special. :)
- There's a slightly used (1500-2000 rounds) JP-15 built in 2011 for sale in a store not too far from here for 2354 USD. Probably the best I could get for that sum of money, but I'm not too keen on buying a used rifle for some reason.
- Smith & Wesson M&P 15 Competition 18" - a bit pricey at 3500 USD. Around the same as DD so I would go for DD if I would go for a rifle in this price-range.
- There are some other options as well, mostly European manufacturers. The problem with these are that info about most of them are not nearly as plentiful as for US-made rifles and prices are around the same as US ones from budget to high-end.

Do you want animation changes to how Smoke would carry out his Fatalities and Fatal Blows in his cyborg skin similar to how in Mortal Kombat 2011, there are animation changes when Cyrax and Sektor* execute their Fatalities and X Rays when they are in their human skins.
Though on the other hand, the fatality shown in the latest Lin Kuei trailer for Smoke can work for both his human form and his Cyborg skin with no alterations.
*Sektor would pull out a missile for his Robo Sek fatality from his belt rather than launching it from his chest if he is in his human skin to give an example.
