I'm still somewhat new to this Reddit stuff, but I've been a longtime DC fan, most notably a Teen Titan fan. And I'm just curious: what's with all the hate Bbrae gets? And I'm speaking in general, not just about the show but also the comics. Personally, I like them, and I think in recent years, they've definitely become one of my favorite comic couples. I think people who dislike them are either biased or read one bad issue and assumed that was their entire relationship; as I stated previously, I believe, as of recent years, DC has been doing them justice. No, this wasn't created for ship bashing or starting arguments; it was just bred from curiosity.

Hi all, Very long shot and very sketchy memory of this song. Trying to find an obscure 50s or 60s song. I have a feeling it may have been called I Like It or some derivative of that (but not Gerry and the pacemakers or Chris KenneDave clark five) or possibly Move it (not the song Cliff Richard does/any other version of it). but also wouldn't be entirely surprised if those aren't the name and is unrelated :(
It was used on a summer Coke Ad in Australia sometime around 2010-2014 where people were on a beach at sunset. (Around the time of 'Share a Coke with...' but wasn't a major ad though). The song and the ad had a summery vibe, might have had a red esky and glass Coke bottles. (Was on tv at the same time that KFC started using Love Me Warm and Tender by Paul Anka if that triggers any memories) :) We found the song on YouTube at the time the ad was on, but it was difficult to find it even then, so definitely not a well known artist. I think it may have been a young (teen) African-American man. Their name may have been alliterated (possibly A.A.) The artist may have had a tragic backstory/demise from my memory of the YouTube comments.
There was a video on YouTube of a recording of the physical record being played - i think it had a yellow label.

Mein Freund (m28) und ich (f24) sind seit 8 Monaten zusammen.
Schon seit Beginn unserer Beziehung gibt es das Problem, dass grundsätzlich wenn ich mal Initiative beim Sex habe, er keine Lust hat. In unserer Beziehung kam es ein einziges Mal vor, dass er darauf eingegangen ist.

Ich achte bei sowas auch immer darauf, dass er zum Beispiel gerade alleine zuhause ist, nicht arbeiten muss oder so - also dass ich eigentlich nicht störe und er alleine ist.
Wenn er dagegen Bock hat, muss ich springen. Wenn ich mal keine Lust auf Sex habe, probiert er mich zu überreden. Je nachdem wie stark (oder nicht stark) meine Unlust ist, mache ich es ihm zu liebe oder bleibe standhaft. So hatten wir zum Beispiel vor 2 Wochen die Situation, dass ich aufgrund einer Blasenentzündung keinen Sex haben durfte. Das hat er auch akzeptiert. Wir waren dann bei ihm aufm Sofa und haben etwas rumgemacht. Ich finde auch nur Küssen kann schön sein. Irgendwann stößt er mich weg und dreht sich weg und haut ein angepisstes "ach das führt doch zu nix" raus und schaut weiter TV. Erst als ich ihm einen runtergeholt habe, war er nicht mehr angepisst.
Nochmal zum Thema oben: mich hat die letzte Reaktion auf das Foto echt tief verletzt - würde er vielleicht häufiger drauf eingehen wäre es nicht krass, aber mit der Vorgeschichte verletzt es mich wirklich stark. Habe ihm das auch geschrieben. Jetzt ist er mega angepisst von mir.

Hey! I'm a longtime tech/gaming enthusiast who has dabbled through the different parts of reddit over the last 12 years of my life but I never really had any idea on what to post, if anything. Finally hitting the point in life where I want to get into a more solid hobby and I started with a childhood goal of building my own PC. I'm really getting into it, but I'm just unaware of what all is available and where.
Now I don't know an immense amount about it all which is why I had a good amount of help starting out from a childhood friend who had built a setup for his girlfriend and himself. I did not want to go too big on my first build but I didn't want to be too cheap. My initial goal is to upgrade it as much as I can before having to get a new case. If I end up hitting a ceiling on what can be achieved then I may dabble with more serious stuff but for now I would really like to see what all I can get to from my current build!
So my question for the real enthusiasts of this area, what can I upgrade out of this for a good price? I currently run a 27" Samsung curved monitor and have a tv as an external but tomorrow I plan to disconnect the tv and buy an identical Samsung monitor for side-by-side screens. I am just getting into PC gaming so I dont need anything crazy but I am interested in water cooling unless thats just overkill. Like I said this will be moreso a hobby. Id like to maybe update the graphics a little more so that I can stream/run multiple things at once without any frame drop. (again very clueless in the grand scheme on this stuff).
I love my case and rgb is moreso just a bonus, not a necessity. Any ideas/tips on improving the build please let me know! I dont mind spending some money but I dont want to go overboard. Can post pics or any other relevant information if needed.

Getting the correct balance of nutrient-dense foods within your calorie range can be achieved by using the Food Pyramid as a guide.
Research indicates that we consume an excessive amount of calories from foods and beverages on the Top Shelf of the Food Pyramid that are high in fat, sugar, and salt. They barely contain any of the vital vitamins and minerals that your body needs. Restricting them is necessary for a healthy diet. You need different nutrients every day depending on where you are in life. These are determined by your age, gender, level of activity, and gender.
Understanding food pyramid
•Restrict your intake of items from the Food Pyramid's top shelf. Considering that these are heavy in fat, sugar, and salt, this is the most crucial Healthy Eating Guideline.
•Use fresh ingredients when preparing and cooking your meals. Because they are often heavy in fat and salt, ready meals and takeout should not be consumed frequently.
•Consistently read the nutrition label; look for excessive amounts of sugar, fat, and salt.
•Consume at least five different colored fruits and veggies each day. Make regular choices of leafy green vegetables. Smoothies can be included in your daily servings of fruits and vegetables, but try to limit your intake to those that contain fruit or vegetables. Look for fat and sugar on the label.
•The greatest foods to feed your body include whole grain bread, potatoes, whole-wheat pasta, brown rice, and high-fiber cereals, especially porridge. These foods also satiate hunger. They offer a gradual release of energy. Recognize that different varieties may have different amounts of calories.

•An adult needs eight to ten glasses or cups of liquid every day. 200 ml is roughly one cup. If you exercise, you will require more. Teens and children should drink often throughout the day. The ideal fluid is water.
•Make time to sit down at a table and eat three meals a day. Eat mindfully and give your food a good chew. You may overeat if you eat while watching TV or using a computer since it can cause you to become distracted by how much food you are consuming. The news circulates throughout the country. It's on TVs, YouTube ads, Posters, Billboards, stickers. If that wasn't enough the people are now wearing badges calling Bakugo a criminal.
"Young Bakugo, I heard what happened. Come we need to leave the country NOW" All Might stressed.
"No, I'm not leaving because a bunch of damn extras starting sympathising with a fucking femicidal maniac"

"I'm sorry, I'm just really agitated by this whole thing. I can't believe my entire career as a hero is over" Bakugo said as he looked down at his feet sheepishly.
"Don't be. This whole thing will blow over soon when the truth gets out" All Might responded
"Thanks"

"I don't know but we should go check it out"
Bakugo stops Yagi

"That's soo rude" Denki reacted
"KAAACHAN!" Izuku gleefully cried

"Well-um yes? Kaachan and I go way back. We used to hang out back in Junior High"
"DEKU!!! Stop telling the bad guy E V E R Y T H I N G" Bakugo started grinding his teeth in frustration.
"Oh...sorry"
"HUMAN STUN GUN!" Denki electrocutes both Deku and CoolOff and runs off
All Might smacks Denki with a wooden plank effectively knocking him out

"Who are you talking to?" Bakugo said bluntly
"N-No one" All Might hastily said
"Is that?...All Miiiiiiiiiiiiggggggghhhhhhhttttt" Izuku breaks out into a fanboy frenzy
"Yes, it is I young man. You must be awfully scared but fear not for I am here"
Izuku starts crying and tells All Might about how scared he was
"What do we do with this piece of crap now?"

"We" Bakugo confirmed
"OW!" Bakugo yelled
"What's wrong Young Bakugo?" All Might asked
"Yea Kaachan are you alright?"
"I'm FIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNEEEEEEE"
Bakugo was indeed not fine
"You're sweating and your arms are covered with black veins"
"Huh?"
"Denki has an electric-type quirk" Izuku blurted
"Then it's worse than I thought" All Might added
"I think...You might be dying"
Bakugo laughs at All Might
"What are you crazy?"
"I'm quite serious Young Bakugo..How's your breathing and your heart rate. Check your heart rate"
"Alright All Might"
Bakugo checks his resting heart rate
"It says 160. Is that good?"
All Might dissolves back into skinny form
"You should be dead" All Might articulated
Blood starts dripping from Bakugo arms and old wounds start opening up
"That's not good"
"NO SHIT DEKU"
Bakugo's heart rate starts rapidly beating as if it were to explode
Bakugo struggles to breathe
He tries to shake the feeling off but ends up splashing his blood all over Deku
Bakugo realises his time is up and flys as far away as he can from the city and people
He explodes in an abandoned warehouse
Tears drop down All Might's face as he hears his protege's demise
Izuku goes home that night upset and gloomy.
He wakes up the next day
And punches his door in a fit of rage
His arms explode off
Terrified Izuku calls his mom for help.
4 hours later
"The surgeons have managed to successfully reattach your arms Izuku"
"Are you ok, honey?" Inko asked worried about her son's spontaneous combustion
"I'm fine mom"
BREAKING NEWS! TEEN HERO COOLOFF FOUND DEAD IN ABANDONED WAREHOUSE
Inko switches off the tv
"I'll give you some space"
Inko exits the room and heads over to get some coffee
Izuku's door opens
"Mom, I thought I made it clear I wanted to be left alone"
"Well then it's a good thing I'm not your mom"
"ALL MIIIIIGGHHHT"
"Hello Izuku-Kun, I heard your arms exploded off which is why I came"
"You see Bakugo is....dead. Which I'm sure you already know but what you don't know is that I gave my power to Bakugo..One For All...And he gave that power to you"
"Me? Why would Kaachan give OFA to me?"
"Well he didn't do it intentionally. When he tried shaking all his blood off some of it must've entered your mouth or gone up your nose and with the intention in mind to transfer the power you received it"

Some trivia about this universe:

• In this universe Bakugo is given OFA (at least 2 years before he ends up in UA).
  
• Bakugo is a lot nicer and friendlier to All Might than everyone else (All Might gives up on his relentless quest of finding a quirkless aspiring hero. It's been 20 years so he just gives OFA to the strongest and most dedicated aspiring hero he can find).
  
• Izuku also pulls up to UA (quirkless. He's in the General Education Department).
  
• All Might uses tech from David and Melissa Shield as well as Mei Hatsume and Power Loader [to make up for OFA's declining embers All Might utilises tech to continue his day-to-day hero pursuits. All Might's support gear includes: Electromagnetic Soles (for speed), High Density Capture Nets (neatly compressed and fired from a gun to swiftly capture one's foes), Koete Arm Bracers (a mix between Izuku's Airforce gloves, the mid-gauntlet and the full gauntlet. It's reinforced with iron, tungsten, tantalum, and vanadium. The fingertips of the Arm Bracers are covered with potassium chlorate, sulfur, and nitroglycerin [covered with resin so All Might doesn't accidentally set himself on fire. These coin-like projectiles activate when All Might flicks them at his opponents], The QAD (David Shield's Quirk Amplification device. The prototype was a headset but since then the design has been redeveloped and has been drastically changed to a set of trendy shades), and a Jetpack (to allow All Might to fly without placing further strain on OFA's embers).
  
• Weirdly enough Bakugo has been silently doing hero work for 2 years (He's following Eraserhead's footsteps by avoiding the media).
  
• Bakugo comes face to face with his arch nemesis [the weird slime villain who got the better of him 2 years ago] and blasts him to smithereens...This creates a very unfortunate series of events of Bakugo.
  

I made two friends in a girls reform high school ( I went to this school for the 11th and 12th grade because I struggled with mental health, not for bad behavior) that I still miss to this day. My sister also went to this school and introduced me to them during school breakfast and the friendship took off from there, we had so much fun and I honestly felt so alive when I hung out with them. Let's call them Bird and Lock just to make things more neat and easier to understand. The first time going over to Bird's house he explained that I should not try to date either of them and that people gained a crush on one but not the other. I told him he did not have to worry about that and I only wanted friends.
During my friendship with Bird and lock, I went to places I never knew existed in my city and all of those "have fun when you are young because you will need them when you are old" memories were made with those guys. Lots of new experiences, fun, and joy was had with them. I remember taking the bus with them to the beach to have a picnic and play in the water, we stayed out past dark and the beach at night felt creepy yet peaceful to me. We took the last bus to my house and they spent the night at my house a thing my father has never allowed in the past. Both was not only there for me when an ex cheated, but they also were the ones that found the messages and pictures she was sending to someone else. We hung out a lot to the point and we often were talking or around each other.
Or course it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows during the friendship, Bird and Lock were in a relationship that wasn't healthy and I often found myself trying to fix the issues the two had. (I know it wasn't my responsibility/business to do so, I just had a problem with having to be the peacemaker or the person that saved the day as a teen) I won't go into details about the relationship but in my option Bird and Lock should not have been together. I played therapist when problems and feelings needed to be vented and wanted to try to cheer my friends up.
Bird also required a lot of my attention then the lock, he would send lot of calls, text, and messages on Kik. He felt l like I upset with him if I didn't answer as soon as I could or let him know I was busy. As a introvert I needed my alone time but I felt guilt asking for it so I just let myself be drained until I shut down and started to feel aggravated. I am a lot better at telling people when I need alone time now but I still feel guilty for being aggravated or ignoring them sometimes. Lock didn't require as much attention but I suspect that is because he was always a bit distant and often just followed what Bird wanted.
I stopped talking to them for a little while due to an incident that happened. I will amit signs can go right over my head sometimes and I don't like to assume things, Yet looking back at it now it was kind of clear what was going on. During the bus ride home from the beach two guys and a girl got on the bus and it looked as if the group had a lot of fun together. Bird said something about the three looking like a poly couple and I shrugged and said I wasn't sure and didn't think more of it. I was dating a ex at the time (not the one who cheated just a girl from my first high school) and Lock said something mean about her. It made me mad and I let him know that he couldn't talk about my girlfriend that way at all, he apologize and I moved on after a bit. At one point Lock's mental health dipped down more then usual and want sent to a facility for a small amount of time. I was spending the night at Birds house chilling on the couch that is in Birds bedroom looking at tv. Bird invited me on the bed with him to sleep and I politely rejected the offer it was weird to me because he and Lock we dating each other. Other off things would happen but those are the three that stood out to me.
I was soon confessed to by Bird and he told me that both he and Lock had a crush on me ( I don't think Lock wanted to date me really, Lock went along with what Bird wanted to do when it came to a lot of things and I think this is one of them) Now I am not one that looks down at poly and I have always been curious about it but not only was I dating someone at the time (the same ex Lock said something mean about) but Bird made it known that those kind of feelings was not appropriate. I don't know why but I was upset at this, I felt like they were playing games with me for some reason. Were they every truly being my friend? Is that why they didn't like my ex? Is this why they wanted so much of my time? Things wasn't going to be the same I just knew it. I felt like they wanted me to be the glue to a toxic relationship and I didn't want that. I am not proud about how I handled the situation but I told them how I really felt and stopped talking to them.
Some time later we started talking again and as expected things was not the same. We hung out but it was awkward and at one point they started avoiding me at the store we were shopping at together. Bird apologized about that and I told him that it was okay and I didn't hold it against them. I apologize about how I reacted to them confessing to me and wanted to start a conversation about it so we all could heal and get closer about what happened but they didn't want to talk about it. I got a new phone and when they text my number I didn't recognize it, when I asked who it was the number said " A friend" and since I was wary of random numbers and wanted to be safe I said I don't have any friends by this number. They said okay and I haven't heard from them since that day.
I still think about them, I still seek that fun and alive feeling hanging out with them gave me, I wonder about them and hope they are doing well, I compare the friendships that I have with them to the ones I have now and they feel more hollow and bare, I even dream about them sometimes.
Lately I have been trying to find them just so I can reach out and let them know I didn't mean for things to end the way they did. To explain that I didn't recognize the number and I didn't mean to shut them away, I don't have to be friends with them again but I feel like I need closer and to give closer and I don't know why. Maybe I still feel guilt for teenage me or I am chasing something that is long gone. I can't find them but every now and then I'll stay up late into the night looking for them.
Sorry if this isn't a true off my chest, I'll take if down if need be I just wanted to get this load off my mind. I also apologize for any spelling errors and if everything is all over the place, it is very late and while I love writting I also am know to make mistakes.
