2024.04.24 12:27 No-You1395 Advice needed - Bloodwork at 8 weeks - Sust250

Advice needed - Bloodwork at 8 weeks - Sust250
M (40) on my 9th week of TRT and now generally feel better. My GP initially said I could start at 1ml per week of sustanon 250 which very early on didn't agree with me. Loads of energy but kind of an anxious energy, no libido for first time ever etc. I then changed to taking 1ml every 10 days generally split into 2 doses. Libido was better than ever and gym recovery had greatly imporved many niggling injuries have greatly improved all but 1). I train a miniumem of 5 days a week (kickboxing 3-4 times p/w and strength work 2 times per week on average. Due to a recent head injury I'm planning on no contact for the next few months and I'm planning on lifting more. Had 5 days holidays around week 6 and had 6 days with no training recently due to a head injury.
I would like someone in the know to review my bloodwork, when getting the blood test my GP mentioned I should cycle i.e. take a month off after every 3 months on Sust. I believe his thinking is to keep some sort of natural production going as I'm only 40. He said I should be fine with my levels until week 4?? I'm 178 cm tall (5 ft 10.5In) low body fat less than 10% pre TRT. My Testosterone was within range but on the low side pre TRT. I'm not taking anything else with the Sust250 other than OTC vitamins, creatine etc.
Flagged item on bloodwork are in bold. Haematocrit was 0.472 pre TRT now 0.525 (now just over range). Haemoglobinwas 15.9 now 17.5 (again now just over the range). I've stopped taking vitamin D but had been taking it previously (it was above range pre TRT also). Testosterone now over range but I have to say I feel better like this so far. My Dr has also recommended that I drop my dose from 1ml every 10 days to 1 ml every 14 days. (Split in 2 doses) My cholesterol was over the range pre trt but now is just within range :) Lactate Dehydrogenase is unchanged at 243 (both pre and post trt). Triglycerides has been under the range in both caes 5.6 pre TRT and 0.48 post TRT.

I'm wondering if you agree with the month off approach my GP has suggested (taking a full 1ml then nothing until the following month!) or would you recommend using HCG or something. I'm new to all of this, had never used steroids etc previously. I'm also wondering if the 1 ml of Sust 250 every 14 days (split into 2 doses) looks right based on the bloodwork? I don't think my DPS (Drugs Payment Scheme in Ireland will cover as much as was originally perscrided anyway - having a few issues with that at present). I'm not concerned about fertility (2 teenage kids) and had tried many test boosters prior to TRT (tongkat ali, fadogia agrestis & tribulus terrestris). I have discovered that I have varicose veins on testicle which may be the cause of my levels not being optional. I may need surgery I've been told if it bothers me again but it's ok at the minute. Apparently levaing as is isn't an issue unless it's bothering me. I had a flare up about a month ago but thankfully all seeems to have settled down now
To recap
1 - Interested in suggestions based on bloodwork and if lowering the dose is a good idea.
2 - Interested in hearing about month off as suggested by my GP after 3 months on or of any alternatives
3 - Really appreciate any comments... Do I need to take any action on the Haematocrit / Haemoglobin. PLease advise my GP hasn't said anything other than I should lower the dose
Ireland is behind on TRT / HRT and manys GP wouln't entertain it, my GP is def one of the better ones but any and all advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks

2024.03.23 23:50 kingjmase0691 Correct HCG dose?

Wife and I are going to be trying for our second child here pretty soon. I’ve been TRT for a little over a year and stopped taking HCG for the last 9 months. I was recently on 200mg a week of test cyp with 100mg/week of Deca to try and heal my rotator cuff from my baseball days. I did that for about two months and my nuts are shriveled into tiny raisins and I know for a fact I’m shooting blanks.
Currently on 140mg/week of cyp and 60mg/week of Deca. Do I need to lower my dose when I start incorporating HCG? I’ve heard it raises your T levels as well as E2, and I cannot take any AI due to side effects that crap has given me in the past.
Any insight would be appreciated!

2024.03.17 18:55 HotOutlandishness416 Is “T he Roid Flu” a real thing or a figment of my imagination?

Hello guys I’ve ran 5-6 cycles in my life. Mainly 16-20 weeks. On this cycle I just began (2 weeks in) it’s kind of a lighter cycle. 600mgs of Test-Cyp and 300mgs of Deca weekly. And I recently came across some Injectable Dbol (ran dbol several times but always oral never injectable) I’ve been shooting 50mgs of injectable dbol daily. And about a week ago I got a sore throat nothing major. And I figured it would dissipate after 6-7 days. Now I’m the 7th day in and it’s left my throat and hit my nose and chest only getting worse. OBVIOUSLY I’ve had many colds/flu like this before but usually disappear after a week and this one seems to be dragging out longer than normal and I was just curious if there may be a correlation between this and the cycle. I’ve researched and pretty much any AAS keeps ur body from producing as many white blood cells as it normally would. (Slightly suppressing the immune system) but again I’ve ran a good bit of cycles and many of them was way heavier than this one. I’ve ran 75mgs of anadrol and 1400mgs of sustanon with 700mgs of deca when I was younger and never experienced this “roid flu” so some insight would be great thanks

2024.03.06 23:52 Unlucky-Dealer-6795 Come off TRT 6 months - Bloods

Hi All,
I'm looking for any help where possible please from anyone with the hormone knowledge to do so and ive sot some bloods where required (even though Dr has missed e2) .
Can anyone please help with reading y story and seeing if you can help at all please 🙏🏽
Firstly, some initial background about me:
I'm male, 43 years old, 5'8, approx 13.5 stone, just got back into training approx a year ago again after a 10 year break (as had kids and just unfortunately let things slip!), had an injury just before Xmas and just getting back into lifting/cardio now👍🏽.
History:
When was much younger (approx 23/25yrs old) I dabbled with anabolic steroids (stupidly) as wasn't too sure with what i was doing... trained with another guy who assured me that he knew wat he was doing.
Long story short, i did a course of deca and test, just 1 pin p/w, didnt seem like a big pr major course for a 6 week period, felt as if had deca dick off it... i waited a while and visited Dr whom said body would sort itself out...
I dont think it did, after getting help was advised yrs ago to do a course of test (sustanon) and did a basic PCT - shot of hcg and then nolvadex/clomid for approx a wk or so (Please note that it was a different time 10/15 yrs ago and couldn't just go upto somebody and starting asking about loss of libido/deca dick/erection issues as can now) so literally did the best i could.
Anyway years passed, I'll agree I got real lazy had different jobs and me and my partner had 2 children, so I thought I'm OK 👍🏽, however years later and and after having symptoms of low T, usual symptoms of brain fog, tiredness, no morning wood, no erections (unless days) ED, PE, achy balls at times... balls feel soft but not small... read that loss of hair on legs is a sign which i have on one leg lower down , joint pain and just tenderness and loss of strength etc... breathing issues (hearts got checked out by ecg and it was fine).
I decided to get checked out and drs reluctantly agreed... after a lot of persistence!
I eventually managed to get an appointment and after getting results saw testosterone was at a measly 9.6 nmol.
I complained this was low and got the nonsense that 'you're within reference range' you don't need anything.
Waited 3/4 months and I managed to get private medical care and got checked out again. Gave Ultrasound, Kidneys and Prostate check which were all fine. Had other bloods checked as follows:
Sodium: 138 (133-146 mmol/L) Potassium: 4.2 (3.5-5.3) Urea: 6.6 (2.5-7.8) Creatnine: 86
LH: 6.7 (1.7-8.6 IU/L) FSH: 6.9 (1.5-12.4 IU/L) Prolactin: 194 (86-324 mu/L) Testosterone: 10.9 (8.64-29 nmol/L)
Thyroid: Free T4: 19.8 (11-26 pmol/L) TSH: 0.79 (0.27-4.2 uU/ML
So as you can see from above, Test levels showing at 10.8 nmol, still low 😕.
Urologist prescribed testosterone and wanted me to be on Testosterone Undecanoate 1 x 3 months. Was on this for 3 months and didn't agree with me had some side effects and came out in weird rashes, caused major PE also so got off asap and wished to change to Sustanon.
Now when I did this as anabolic steroids when younger, didn't have any issues with it. However, as this was prescribed not UGL and medically, they prescribed 1 x 3 weeks! (250mg). Needless to say this was a ridiculous protocol, compared to 1 x 1 week in my younger years! I managed to decrease the time to 1 x 2 weeks! However still awful. This resulted in a major rollercoaster of going up and down constantly with mood changes and just downright horrid to be on. I just had to get off ASAP.
As a wise man once told me "Going to the NHS for TRT is like going to the butchers for a haircut". He wasn't far wrong!
Decided to come off for fertility reasons and till i can afford proper care or inject myself as guessing would need a few smaller injections per week i.e Sust - 1 .03 x 3 times pw. Dr gave me nothing to come off with in terms of PCT.
I acquired some HCG just in case it would have been a bumpy ride along with Nolvadex. Felt literally horrid after coming off the test which was expected. So administered a good 2/3 weeks of HCG after the adequate time needed for injections to clear out if system, then did as follows:
Week 1 - M 2500 iu, T - 500iu - 29/05 Week 2 (EOD) - Sun - 500 iu, Tues - 500iu, Thurs - 500iu - Sat - 500iu - Wk 3 - Mon - 850iu, Wed - 1000iu, Fri - 850 iu.
Felt much better and then was going to start Nolva, but had some ocular side effects and then was told HPTA may just fire up anyway and they may not be needed, so didn't want to risk my eyesight so took the decision to proceed without this.
I waited a few months, had some weakness in muscles coming back and some major itching for some strange reason (when initially administed HCG). However, months passed and slowly started getting back to normal without requiring test from NHS!
So since August 2023, been TRT free, just recently had my NHS appointment to see endo, did fasted bloods this time and they are as follows:
Hb - 156/L (135-180) Calcium adjusted 2.35 mmol/L (2.20-2.60) ALT 53 iu/L (<40) TSH: 2.3 miu/L (0.20-4.00) FSH: 8.0 iu/L (1.0-9.0) FT4: 17.1 pool/L (10.0-20.0) Prolactin: 254 mu/L (<550) Testosterone: 12.4 nmol/L (8.0-30.0) 25 OH Vit D - 38 nmol/L (50-100) SHBG: 16 Ha1bc: 27 mmol/mol (20-41)
Understand that Vit D is low (probably as ran out of Vit D tabs and its been winter and liver enzymes a little high, so getting LFTs in due course but I believe this is because diet not been great.
Endo advised that just need to lose weight and test should increase, which I believe is the generic answer.
I'm now getting back into gym and doing cardio - walking everyday at dinner time, cutting down on all fats and increased healthy fats (i.e almond butter, salmon, tuna and fish oils etc) and changing lifestyle again.
Can anyone comment on the latest bloods though please?
FSH looks a little high? SHBG low? Test increased a little but still low? Prolactin high? Is this a cause for concern? Any additional areas?
Endo forgot to post Oestradiol/e2! I'll chase him up about this but believed it was 116 when last checked and then when came off TRT measured at 70 pmol, however think this will have increased by now too but what figure is optimal with this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! 👍🏽👌🏽

2024.02.23 04:19 L0newolfoack Seeking Advice

Seeking Advice
Hi 28-year-old 5'5 146 lbs guy here. My journey began in 2018 when I noticed I wasn't developing secondary male characteristics, like facial hair – which is odd because all the men in my family could pass for vikings, I felt constantly anxious, and tired, and my libido was low. Despite not having these issues in my family history, so I decided to go to the lab and get a blood test, testosterone levels came back low and E2 was high, I took the following steps to improve my hormone levels naturally: quitting smoking, eating healthier, and exercising. However, due to a busy work schedule, I stopped going to the gym in September 2023.
Fast forward to the summer of 2023, my symptoms had worsened, so I went to see an endocrinologist. After my first visit, I underwent blood work and an MRI, revealing secondary hypogonadism potentially linked to a 2mm microadenoma. the doctor wasn't sure this was the root cause of my low testosterone and thyroid issues and suggested starting testosterone therapy (Sustanon or Nebido are the only options available in where I live), I went for HCG monotherapy initially, taking 6500 IUs weekly for 7 weeks. Unfortunately, this led to significant weight gain (water and fat) and worsening symptoms, so I switched to Nebido, receiving my first dose on October 31, 2023 and another one after the second blood test on the 29th of January 2024.
Next shot is 12 weeks after the 2nd (22th April 2024)
during the 90 days after starting Nebido, and after my second dose on January 29, 2024, I've experienced fleeting moments of feeling genuinely good, though these are short-lived. My energy levels are inconsistent, and my libido hasn't improved. Post-dose, I often get a "moon face," yet my doctor is reluctant to test my E2 levels or consider microdosing Nebido.
I've shared my blood work bellow, seeking advice on whether a second medical opinion is warranted. What do you think?

2024.02.15 08:55 MidniteFlexin Noob questions here

Need some help bros. I’m 42 and just started TRT about 3 months ago. My blood work before starting was 220. I think I was 2.5% free. Anyway I’m 6’ 300lbs and have been powerlifting for years. 4-500lb lifts. Gym bro put me on to 150ml/week for 6 weeks. I wasn’t feeling anything really. My strength dropped and muscles fatigue very fast now. No boost in energy or sex drive.
I jumped up to 175/ wk. I pin 3.5cc twice a week of sustanon 250. Still don’t feel anything. I get bad muscle cramps and I’m very sore for days after I pin. Like it’s bad to where I can’t even walk when I pin in my quads. Not so much in delts but still sore. Still no increase in energy, mood or strength. I’m guessing it’s because I’m so fat that the dose is still too low.
I have a friend who also started and he’s been doing amazing. He’s on 125/wk once a week. He’s like 5’7” 170lbs. He’s also on HCG(250/wk). He’s dropping weight, energy through the roof and getting crazy strong. He said he felt it after the first shot. He’s going through a clinic though. I do plan to switching over to TRT nation this week.
Should I just up my dosage to maybe 225/wk or wait at 175. My guy wants to jump every 6 weeks. Next jump would be 200.
Do you think I’m too fat for this dose? Anything I can take for the cramping? Can anything be done about post injection pain?
THANK YOU!🙏

2024.01.31 11:55 Andrew0409 Unusually high prolactin

I’m on 135mg of test cyp split into 3 times a week with some HCG. For some reason my prolactin has been really high the last 4 months. The test 4 months ago was 636 mIU/L and this week it was 935mIU/L
What could be causing this? My doctor last time suggested stress so I brushed it off. I’m a little stressed but not a lot. I have my own business and opening a new office in a new country so there is some level of stress but stressed to me was when I was working 80+ hour weeks working in finance commuting to Landon for 3 hours total studying for my CFA and professional licenses on the train/tube while also working on my side hustle e-commerce store.
I don’t work a lot of hours sitting 9-5 or more in a officr but I do work on and off 24/7 for things that need to do with my employees doing day to day operations so I handle big picture stuff.
These numbers looks like I’m taking Deca or something but I’m not. My doctor is asking me in an email again about stress but I wanted to feedback before I get back to him.
Thanks in advance.

2024.01.10 20:57 venthrowaway1 High Oestradiol solutions?

Hey,

So I've been on TRT for 6 weeks now and had my first blood test since:

Pre TRT bloods:

Test - 11.6nmol (334.56ng/dl)
Oestradiol - 46 pmol/l (13.26 ng/ml)

6 weeks bloods:
Test - 27.4nmol (790.27ng/dl)
Oestradiol - 297 pmol/l (85.66 ng/ml)

I'll preface by saying I got on TRT for ED reasons, no sex drive, no energy, motivation etc etc. Since then my motivation is great, I was really emotional 2 weeks ago (makes sense with my estrogen levels) which have now gone and I feel alright, but i'm still not experiencing a great libido/erections like many do when starting TRT (taking 5mg tadalafil daily too), I get morning wood and thats about it with nothing during the day/evening - and after reading about high estrogen levels that can be the cause by the looks of it.

My current dosage is 250IU of HCG x3 and .15ml Test sustanon x2 weekly (75mg total) which my doctor has now advised to slightly reduce the dosage of test to .13ml twice a week.

I just wanted to see if anyone had a similar experience and any remedies that may help? I know reducing the test amount may help as the doctor recommended, or pin 3x a week instead of 2x which I wouldn't mind doing.

Thanks!

2024.01.04 15:07 Bladercutter HCG and Clomid protocol helped me before full TRT protocol (educational and experience)

HCG and Clomid protocol helped me before full TRT protocol (educational and experience)
Hey,
Just wanted to share my story if some are seeking the same approach or protocol. Long story short I always suffered from medical conditions since a kid. (Flew through a front windshield from a drunk driver) my temporal and frontal lobe always were different after that from scans and as I matured it never really improved just had more depression and frustration with verbal execution on explaining information and perceiving the world around me.
I have tried multiple SSRIs, anxiety, etc pharmaceutical routes and in the long run have never helped me. My specialize finally decided after seeing my other numbers not just my test that I should try overall TRT to help with my depression, mood, confidence, energy and sex.
Well I'm trying to start a family now so we went the HCG and Clomid route first before a TRT treatment.
As you can see in my blood results it has brought my levels up to 880 for total and my free test is running around 26. I'm taking a blocker now to help lower the estradiol as it's a little high but for being an alternative to shutting down my natural testies this has been a saving grace as my overall mood when I wake up and throughout the day I have no issues with day to day functioning and my martial arts has been at it like I was in my early 20s as I always enjoy martial arts and haven't been strong at it for last 5+ years due to motivation and other alignments. Actually entering a shotokan competition next month after so many years so excited I have been able to reach that goal again.
If anyone is seeking overall health, mood and quality of life without the full TRT protocol make sure you talk to your physician about these alternatives as some clinics simply push the Test 250 Cyp and then want to add the Deca, Var, peptides after the 6 month mark but don't realize maybe you want a family later or just want to naturally try super drive your own testies to work.

2023.12.26 12:03 dvxlgames First Testosterone Cycle Experience!

Finally. I successfully finished my first cycle, yet having to do pct. For my persona, I am 19 years old, 6’1“, and in the gym for approximately 1,5 years. I know it’s early for steroids but I was just curious what would happen when doing a low dose first cycle. First of all, everything about the cycle: The cycle duration was 11 weeks with injections 3 times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I injected Sustanon 250, 0,25ml per injection in the beginning and 0,4ml per Injection in the last 6 weeks. So it was a rather low dose, up to 300mg per week. Along with the test I injected HCG, around 400 IU per Week to keep my balls alive. Planning on doing a rather short nolva only pct starting next week (4,5 Weeks after last injection).
Now let’s look at the gains I made. Before the cycle I had a bodyweight of approx 180lbs (already taking creatine), right at the end of the cycle my bw was at 209lbs so I gained almost 30lbs which is way more than I expected. At the moment, 4 weeks after the last injection, I am at roughly 202lbs. This however is mainly because I stopped using creating a few weeks ago so a lot of the lost weight was water weight.
My lifts before and after: Deadlift: 320lbs before, now 440lbs Benchpress: 242lbs before, now 286lbs Squat: 286lbs before, now 375lbs Total: 848lbs before, now 1101lbs
Again I made way more progress than expected. What also has to be noted, many people told me that I wouldn’t make much progress with this low of a dose of testosterone for only 10-11 weeks. Am I a hyper responder or something? I have the feeling that I made more progress than people on a proper 16 week 500mg test cycle.
Every comment, answer and question is well appreciated!

2023.12.02 16:39 boomtao Feeling my heart "being squeezed" after increasing dosage (frequency).

Started TRT at the end of last year because I felt tired and lethargic (I didn't get anything done with my business). The endocrinologist said that it wouldn't benefit me because my T-levels were good. However my doctor said to treat symptoms and not numbers, so (being desperate for improvement) I gave it a shot.
Recently - after a blood test (I know ... should have been done earlier) - it turns out that my T-levels with TRT are the same as without before. So, there was no gain whatsoever (only replacing what my testicles already made naturally) and the desired results (more energy & vigor) therefore also remained elusive. Meanwhile I found out there were different causes for my tired lethargy, so I want to stop TRT.
Before stopping I decided to see what happens if I increase the dosage, so I can experience how it feels having more T than I naturally had before. So, now instead of injecting Sustanon once every three weeks, I do it every two weeks - as per my doctor's suggestion.
Ever since the frequency increase (just started) I have a bit of heart fibrillation - at least so it feels. It feels like how you can feel your heart being "squeezed" or pressured when you are experiencing a lot of stress. I do indeed have a lot of stress, so I attribute it to that. But perhaps it is a symptom of the increase in T?
The second part of my question:
What is the best protocol for stopping TRT and have your testicles take over again? I have been using hCG since the beginning along the TRT.
Thank you for your feedback in advance.

(P.S. a new blood test has meanwhile already been ordered)

2023.11.27 17:50 Kitchen_Bar_7327 Blast between TRT reviews advice

Looking for some advise…..
Long story short I’m on prescribed TRT through a UK private clinic.
Current protocol is Sustanon 150mg a week + HCG 900IU’s a week injected as below
50mg Sustanon - mon, Weds, fri 300iu’s HCG - Tuesday, thurs, sat.
About to my have my 3 month review+bloods and want to to a blast between now and my next review+bloods.
Blast i purpose is 300-350mg a week.
I have big stock pile of Sustanon so that’s not an issue.
My question is when would I need to stop to ensure my bloods return to TRT levels for my next blood test?
Also how should I transition from blast to TRT, I.e. should I stop injecting all together for a few weeks before to let my levels drop or should I just go back to TRT protocol ‘X’ amount of weeks before my blood test?
I know with Sustanon the decimate ester is pain in this scenario but I can only use Sustanon for a unrelating reason
Not looking at doing this for gains but more to see what my body can tolerate test wise, after this second review the next review with be every 6 months whereby I can do a proper blast and see results.
Thanks in advance.

2023.11.02 05:13 DowntownCause9484 What can i do to increase libido here?

I've been on TRT almost a year. The primary reason for me was because of low libido. I started off at like a 2 out of 10 and now I'm say a 5. So things are better, but not as good as I want. I'm currently on a mini blast of 300 T and 150 Deca. I also take two tabs of anastrozole per week to keep my E2 down. If I don't take it, my E2 goes up and my libido crashes. Every time I lay off the AI my morning wood goes away and achieving orgasm becomes difficult. I also take 25 mg of clomiphene citrate 3x a week, but I'm switching to HCG when I can get it. Other than my cholesterol being a bit high, everything seems pretty much in range. Maybe my SHBG is causing an issue? I lift weights 3x a week and do cardio twice a week. I also eat pretty good, but I have been drinking more than I should lately. I'm 6' 1" and 193, I'm pretty fit looking. I don't know my body fat but you can see my six pack when I flex. Also, my E2 got cut off of this lab report but it is 21, with a normal range being 10-30.

2023.10.31 10:35 ForsakenSpirit4426 20months 200mg sustanon weekly PCT

Heard about Armidex or clomid and what has been more efective dosage when I was on 200mg weekly sustanon.
When will my balls start working again and what is the best solution to achieve this goal?
My BMI is also in the higher scale, bout extra 10kgs.
I am also on antipsychotic meds 400mg seroquel, im under psychiatrist supervision and dose is lowered gradually.
Is hcg also needed? Someone told me it is.
Thank you in advance!

2023.10.29 14:38 AcceptableHyena1054 High E2 symptoms spikes even at lower dose.

Hello everyone,
I'm on TRT for more than a year now and I cannot set up my dose. First few months I've been using Enanthate 100mg/7 days, later on switched to 100mg/5 days. Currently on 70mg, every 3 days. During that time I've only gained 6kg of weight, ED and mental issues. After injection I've noticed I'm quickly getting high E2 symptoms. Especially high BP, lack of energy, almost no urination and ED od course paired with sweating. The only time I've ever felt good is when I was taking omnadren (polish sustanon) and took 0.25 to 0.5 mg Anastrazole daily. It seems like every mg of testosterone I'm taking is used to produce E2. Even on dose low like 50 every 4 days it's the same. Am I going crazy, or I should take that high doses of Anasatrazole and be happy. My natural T is 210. I have damaged pituitary gland because of meningitis. My doc is super expensive here in Poland and we have here only 2 types of injections. Enanthate and mentioned Omnadren, both injected IM because they are very oily and dense. The only really big spike in both T and E2 is with hcg but it's completely uncontrollable. It's so annoying that even on T I'm gaining fat and boobs. I'm trying to maintain healthy lifestyle, I've dropped my weight from 110kg to 82 before TRT but felt like shit, no libido and muscle gains paired with mental problems. Have you got any thoughts on that case? What would you do?

2023.10.06 09:20 soulsmile Low E2 hell, high total and free T. What can be the cause? No AI!

Hi everyone went through the E2 hell, frequent urination, dry everything, creaky and painfull joints , knees that felt like they had glass in them, poor mood etc
EDIT: I now wonder of instead of very low E2 it was say 20 but with a TT of 1350 that is 67:1 and whether this would cause the same issues eg sore joints, dry skin etc as low E2 would?
I am assuming it was low E2 as I started HCG and mostly back to goodness within 2 weeks! Still not 100% but change is remarkable. Didnt have bloods before but bloods now are fine - E2 - 128 with a TT/E2 = 26. Total T and free T are high on 125mg/w - 1350 and 835 but Im cutting down both the T and HCG dosage.
My question really is why this happened in the first place. Male 52 relatively fit, 125mg/ week (either cyp or sustanon and sometimes about 20% deca) for 2 years now. Never any gyno issues at the dose so never touched AI.
So how did I end up in this hell?
Ive gone back to injecting once per week (I had started 2x PW for more stable levels just before the pain kicked in properly but may not be related). and ive tried everything to try increase aromatisation eg injecting SQ in fat, eating more sugar drinking more alcohol but likely the HCG made the difference.
Would like to understand as my T dose clearly has been sufficient and yet there I was...
Thanks in advance!

2023.09.09 09:44 BatSoupTasty Doc who said my levels were normal has now prescribed me Sustanon

I have been going to this endo for quite a while now. I presented to him with low testosterone levels and have gotten a number of tests done throughout the course of 5 months. He said my levels were normal and I dont need to worry about it while also prescribing me tests since I was feeling effects of low t. On my last visit he saw my bloodwork and said that my levels were indeed low for my age(18) and prescribed me 1 shot of Sustanon 250 once every three weeks which is ridiculous. I asked him that I know a few people around my age who were prescribed hcg along with testosterone, to which he snapped at me and said "who is the doctor here you or me? You can only choose from the options your doctor prescribes you, you cannot ask for medications". I asked him what my options were to which he did not provide any clear answer. When I asked him about the protocol he said this was prescribed to check how I respond to this medication, if I respond positively to it he will continue this route otherwise he would call it off.
I have decided to find a new doctor but my parents wanted to discuss the protocol and dosages with our family doctor who said yes the dosages were alright and hcg does not need to be prescribed since his lh and fsh values are within range.
I have an appointment with a new endo on Tuesday let's see how that goes but honestly I don't have much expectations from him either. What should I do if things go the same way? Are the dosages and protcols right and am I the one who is being a moron by not agreeing with the doctors? Just a lot of questions at this point.

2023.08.05 03:40 dank4us12 Some of you guys need to hear this!

I've been in this community for over 5 years. Had a YT channel and made almost 500 vids on this topic.
So many posts about low libido on TRT, anxiety, depression, Bloat and complaining about just about everything else that ain't perfect in your life.
Almost every response to any of these posts is check your E2. E2 is too high, you E2 is to low. I took 0.5mg of Arimidex and everything was perfect. Estrogen is important and can contribute to symptoms, it is not this evil thing that causes every slight symptom or annoyance you face in your life.
Gonna get down voted for sounding like a dick. But some of you need to hear this.
When you start TRT you are fixing one hormone that is low on your body. Granted it is a very important one. But you are only fixing one thing.
As much as you have built up testosterone as a God molecule. Testosterone does not fix everything.
Stress, lack of sleep, vitamin and nutrition deficiencies, financial stress, marital stress, job stress, being overweight, not working out, lack of sun are all more likely to be causing your symptoms.
No one is posting - I'm 40lbs overweight, barely exercise, rarely go outside, drink a lot, smoke weed daily, am super stressed at work, why don't I feel like superman on TRT.
Then people blindly post - check E2, probably E2, up your AI, etc.
More down votes incoming
Some of y'all need to man the fuck up. Stop bitching online that you don't feel like superman 24/7 365. Your a human. No humans feel fantastic every minute of every day. You are going to have ups and downs. Accept that, deal with it and do your best to be the best man that you can be.
Estrogen has become the scapegoat as to why men don't feel fantastic all the time. So many guys have now been taught that all you need to do is find that sweet spot and everything will be perfect.
Maybe if I inject three times a week, take my AI 24 hours after injections, drop HCG by 100 units, add DIM, etc I'll get to my sweet spot. Chasing the dragon.
For reference I have been taking between 200 and 500mgs for over 5 years. Not a gear head, the 500 is rare. Haven't taken or needed an AI since I started. Have added Deca, hgh peptides on and off. E2 (sensitivel sits at roughly 73 at 200mgs. Never tested at 500mg of test. But I'm sure if I did and posted the test, 100 guys would tell me I need an AI.
I'm not anti AI. But I am anti laser focusing on estrogen and believing that as soon as you get it in the perfect range, everything is just gonna clock and your gonna feel like a rockstar.
TRT is not a cure all solution. You are fixing one hormone in your body. Your human and have ups and downs. Stop expecting to feel God like 24/7 and be happy that you feel better. Stop focusing on how you feel day to day and focus on becoming a better man, husband, father, etc.
Hope this helps a few guys in this TRT journey. You can scope my profile to see who I am on social media. I put out 1 minute TRT tips 5 days a week
