Current diagnosed conditions: POTS, IST, ADHD, Chronic Rhinitis & Sinusitis, Chronic Gastritis, Anxiety.
Medications: Metoprolol 50mg, Vyvanse 50mg, Loratadine 10mg, Losec 10mg, Nasonex nasal spray.
Being investigated: C-PTSD, Toxic mould exposure (MARCoNs Swab sent off)
Family history: Mother had a SCAD heart attack 6 months ago, father has GERD & Oesophageal Ulcers, brother has Autism & sister has PCOS. Grandmother had Sjogrens, Lupus, Raynauds & LAM Disease.
My recent history: Had multiple antibiotic resistant endometritis, EBV, CMV, Covid & then C-Diff (after 10 different antibiotics) all in the space of a few months in mid 2022 after the birth of second child & have had issues ever since. Gastric sleeve in June 2023, have lost 35kgs, in a DV relationship for 4 years, have been free since January.
➖ My hands and feet have a lot of issues.. persistent tingling, sensitive to hot and cold, sometimes they will feel tight and movement is slightly restricted. Other times they will itch, turn bright red & burn like crazy, other times they will feel frozen and ache. One will be white while the other is red. I’ve had random sensations of warmth washing over one foot like I’ve poured warm water over it.
Raynauds, Erythromelalgia & Scleroderma come up in google searches, could it be another condition to look into or a side affect from my medication? Which specialist/tests should I be asking for?

So last week marked then 2nd anniversary of the fateful day I went into the local family clinic in Holmfirth England and had my life changed in 10 minutes. Here is an over view of various aspects and how they have changed over 2 years

1. Pain. Far less than the first 6 to 7 months or so. When I was in constant agony with left sided nerve pain. However I have cycles. First 6 months awful. Winter 22 up to Jan 23 practically went away . Was sitting at work again. Jan 23 to March 23 pain on the right side and noticeable lump started. Very painful,and painful to ejaculate . Subsequently diagnosed as a sperm granola which has since gone . May 23-sep 23 return of left side pulling pain coinciding with summer and testes descending . Sep 23-Nov 23 little to no pain . Nov23 to Dec 23 rolled onto my front in a hotel bed asleep and up with sucking nerve type pain in my right for 1 month. Dec 23 to feb 23 some left side pain . Booked reversal see below . March 23 to may 23 slipped a disc in my neck. Agony . 9/10 on pain scale. Testicle pain was absent as brain was concentrated on greater pain . Now. Neck pain subsiding . Constant feeling on ache or fullness in both testicles with left being worse
   
2. Emotions. A rollercoaster . I’m living my life now and getting on with it . First 6 months was suicidal, second 12 months varied from grief to extreme anger directed at the doctor who performed my op. Now I’ve settled . I want to get back to normal but am starting to forget what normal feels like
   
3. Medication . Tried coedine for first 3 months . Now been on amlytryptline for 18 months 20 to 10 mg a day. Does it do anything ? Not sure he,ps me sleep and I think it’s helped my depression . Would like to come off it
   
4. Sex. Still enjoyable but orgasm release doesn’t feel complete . Am not sure if this mental or physical. I no longer ejaculate daily probably 2 to 3 times a week otherwise it’s sore
   
5. Future. Reversal was booked at best life for oct. I’m deferring to next year to allow my slipped disc to fully heal .
   
6. Life style . I’m back on my bike and go to gym. Can only do 1 hour max though. Still find cinema painful and have to do reclining seats at showcase . Running has stopped . I use a stand up desk at work (although this is for back and groin ). Done some physio for tight pelvic floor which helps.
   

Summary. I’m a lot better . Do I want to stay like this? No. Am I terrified of reversal yes but also really keen on feeling reconnected. Is the pain the worst I’ve had? No as the slipped disc put it into context . Will update in 12 months !

I took the UK government site's skill assessment test. Based on the report, my interest lies in:

I am able to work with numbers well, as well as quickly and accurately. I am also able to work with written information, have good to great spatial and mechanical awareness, and check data accuracy with a high rate of success in finding errors.
I do NOT fair well in creative thinking and solving abstract problems. I am NOT motivated by lively environments, and people focused environements.
At the end of the report there were the following suggest career families: Medical Technology, Medicine and Nursing, Information Technology and Information Management, and General and Personal Services. I found the suggested fields to be at odds with motivation, and interest. e.g. Medical Technology specifically states leadership as one of it's important factors but my intest in leadership is fairly low.
Given how many jobs lie in a career itself I wasn't sure what to do with the over all career families recommended. Advice on how to make the best of this and come out with a better choice at the end of it all for myself and my future.

This is a long one but I’ll try to keep it brief. Note we live in Scotland.
Back in 2015, an ex-fling told me she was pregnant. Long story short, I was not involved. Briefly had contact after the child was born but haven’t since. At the time I was working bar work, had barely two pennies to my name. I did not pay anything majorly financial at the time, although did offer to pay for nappies, formula etc when I could. She did not want me on the birth certificate but my own anxiety and lack of funds meant that I was unable to go further. Fast forward a few months and I met my now wife. We had a child in 2018 and it was only at this point that she applied for child maintenance. The paperwork went to my parent’s address unknowingly so I did not receive it until I saw them several weeks later. I asked at the time for a DNA test but was told that financially they could not support me with this. And because I couldn’t, they assumed me as the father. I meet none of the other legal criteria for assumed paternity (were not married, never even lived together, I’m not on the bc).
Time has passed. I’ve paid every month because what else could I do? I couldn’t afford the DNA. I couldn’t afford the legal costs. So I kept paying and yes criticise me all you want but here we are.
So last year, I contacted cms again. Told them I want a DNA and asked if they could support financially. Surprisingly, despite me earning much more now, they said that they would pay the fee, then if the child is mine I would payback over a period of a few months. I went and gave my DNA sample. I eventually called them and they said this was very unusual but due to the child’s additional needs they were not going to do the DNA test but that I would either need to get legal help or continue paying.
She would not speak to me, and whenever we did briefly message to discuss this, she was often quite horrid. I tried to do mediation, she didn’t pick up their calls. So now I’m stuck. No one seems to be able to help. I do not qualify for legal aid. Citizens Advice only signposted me. And a solicitor wants £300 an hour plus court fees. None of that is doable for me.
I’ve now told her that the only way this can get sorted is if court action is taken, and so I will no longer be paying her. She has now said she will go through collect and pay meaning a 20% increase on payments I already struggle to give. I’ve always paid. But I can’t do this any longer. It seems that she can say whoever she wants is the father, yet won’t let me have a dna, won’t let me be on the birth certificate and she says he hates me.
So with collect and pay - what can I do? I know this seems drastic but at least if I don’t pay it would force them to look at all of this surely? She’s suddenly messaging me now despite ignoring previous messages, since I’ve told her this.

My girlfriend is irreg and her last mens is last march 24. We did the deed last april 20, She took pregnancy test last may 19 and it was negative. On may 21, she went to medical center and do a blood test (hCG PT Test) and the results are positive. She also took 10 urine pregnancy test from may 21 - may 30 and still negative.
When doing the deed, I used condom and I pulled out before ejaculating. We also make sure that there were no leaks/defect and the condom stays intact during intercourse.
We went to the OB this may 29 and do an transvaginal ultrasound and no heartbeat/fetus was found, But her uterus lining is thick.

It still surprises me that Most people on YouTube (the so-called Dropshipping gurus) still promise you that you will become rich in two weeks without hardly putting in any effort. Let me give it to you straight: nothing could be further from the truth. I’ve made well over seven figures with drop shipping and I also failed a lot. So let me share with you the information that is missing from 99% of what you see on YouTube.

1. Do NOT copy what’s already working

That’s one of the phrases they tell you most often. Just copy what’s already working and you’re done. Usually the method shown is researching your competitors, look at their best selling products and sell the same stuff. But think about it. If we are all doing that, in the long run, we’re all competing, only based on price, driving our profit margin down. Customers aren’t stupid and know they have seen that product somewhere else for a cheaper price. So do not go out and sell products everyone else is selling. Instead, make sure to do proper niche research. Select a niche first (you can download a guide containing 300+ niches for free in the link section of this subreddit). Then spend some solid time, researching it deeply. Join private Facebook groups around your niche, go through all the posts to get into peoples minds and how they think, how they talk about products, what they value in terms of features and benefits, etc. Do the same thing on Reddit. Then look at best selling products in your niche on Amazon and look at the NEGATIVE reviews. That will tell you what can be improved. Those are good ideas for when you go out and research products. Only when you have done your homework, go onto websites like AliExpress and try to find unique products that hardly anyone is selling already. Yes, that takes time and work. And lots of patience. I have found a few of my bestsellers hidden on page 53 in the search results. Sometimes it took me two weeks before finding a really good product I could attempt to sell.

1. Advertise your products properly

By that I mean do not rip off someone else’s product video or image and run with it. Order a sample or two, analyze the product, use it yourself and shoot your own product video. Again, that takes work, but it will pay off. Make sure to show the main product benefits in the first few seconds of your video, followed by the characteristics/features and additionalinformation (instructions, assembly instructions, etc.).

1. You should NOT use drop shipping from China forever

It’s great for testing the validity of a product, but you should not use this business model for a long time. The main reason has to do with supply chain issues. It takes forever for products to arrive, and you can get away with it if your product is truly unique and people cannot get it elsewhere. But even then, two weeks is a long time for any product to arrive. Customers will complain. I would too. So once you find a winning product, make sure to look for bulk order options and import it into your country to a local fulfillment warehouse. That way you can get products quickly to your customers doors, and also avoid the typical downtime during Chinese new year.

TDLR: thinking of mobility aids bc of joint pain & fatigue/lightheadness, not currently seeing any docs or anything, unsure how to speak to parents about it????
im not currently diagnosed w/anything or regularly seeing any kind of doctomedical professional, ive seen the physio about my left knee twice [once in 2023 and once last week, housemaids knee, i think? keeps coming back. got given a sheet of exercises for it]
i am also on the waiting list to see a cardiologist bc i have symptoms that seem more or less consistent with POTS? [palpatitions & high heart rate standing up, lightheadedness, vision going out, tempreture issues, nausea, etc. not self diagnosing just using to help give a picture of it] but i dont even have an appointment date yet
i have had blood tests done as well as an ecg regarding that ^^^^ & all the results were normal
i also have some kind of joint pain/issues [worst in my ankles/wrists, and my left knee & right hip], as well as fatigue and minor-ish balance issues. all of my issues are like, inconsistent in severity
i have been thinking about getting a mobility aid of some sort for a while, but recently much more, as ive been hurting my knee more, like basically any time i walk more than mile [or even less, sometimes].
& also because i regularly get tired/lightheaded and have to sit down [and usually end up sitting on the ground]. i find standing largely uncomfortable, and it usually becomes painful within 10 minutes
i try to exercise but its difficult all considered [also have a circadian rythmn disorder so im not regularly awake in daylight hours :/] & i think a mobility aid could help me? especially bc i find myself leaning on things a lot
right now i use knee & ankle supports semi-regularly, which has helped a lot in reducing the pain/keeping it from getting worse. imo im being more active since getting them

they have largely been supportive in the past about accommodating me & letting me persue my interests. everyone picked up fingerspelling & a couple signs bc i sometimes dont/cant speak verbally, for example
though its only in the past year that ive realised im physically disabled [had all the symptoms before, just didnt realise it was wasnt everyones experience], i did a lot of that discovery thru having conversations with them about it, & i regularly talk thru stuff with them to help get an idea of which things i experience are considered abnormal/concerning
they seem to understand, at least, that i have a lot of trouble with doing things. my mother is the one who bought the knee brace for me. shes also an occupational therapist [stopped practicing after having kids but recently re-registered], so she knows more than the average person about this kinda thing
they are not always immediately great about things, but theyre willing to discuss and actually listen, so a lot of times its about how well i can articulate myself when i explain. their general attitude is that i should be able to make my own decisions, and that if it helps me then its worth at least discussing
i have previously suggested that ive thought about the subject, but not necessarily for myself [spoken about my friends disabilities and mobility aids & stuff]. i'm unsure of how to bring it up & anxious even tho the worst thing theyre likely be is kinda skeptical, in which case its pretty likely i would be able to talk them into it?
for reference the things im most drawn to personally are forearm crutches and those canes w/the seats? not sure if theyre called smthn specific. a lot of places we go have pretty rough floors/no paths so it seems most practical to me. im also currently a minor [turning 18 next year], if thats relevent at all.
i am willing/would kinda prefer? to see a medical professional about it and get suggestions of what would be best first, so thats not an issue [except for actually getting access to that, bc nhs waiting lists are ridiculously long and private is so expensive]
but again id need to talk abt it first to be able to have my parents arrange that for me [have selective/situational mutism so need someone with me on doctors visits]
idk. thoughts?? suggestions on how to bring all this up? thanks for reading in any case & once again sorry this ended up so long!!

Hi everyone - would really appreciate your guys advice on this one! Bloating way down and symptoms pretty much gone after 2 weeks of (two week course of 2x 550g Rifaximin and simultaneously 3 weeks of 3x 450g Allicin) which I'm so relieved about. I relaxed my diet completely on medication and have done low(ISH)Fodmap with 1 weekly cheat meal since. Bloating seems to be increasing again though (motility is fine however) and want to make sure I clear this thing once and for all.
Considering: another dose of Rifaximin+ allicin, doing a round of just antimicrobials (allicin and Candex SIBO), probiotics (my GIs suggestion now but they scare me!) or getting an up-to-date breath test to see what the situation is now.
Any advice? Feel like this sub has so much more experience with this illness than my GI.
