Might not speak for everyone but I definitely speak for a lot of people I HATE this new season cars and fists are entirely over powered and even think they shouldnt even be in the game especially in competitive and ranked cars and fist make the game very irritating instead of fun for the people with actual skill and for others who plays Fortnite with over 300 playing hours just to get on the game and get ran over and shot by an indestructible vehicles or given a 3 piece special by iron fists every game you play. cars and fist takes no skill what's so ever to win a game A LOT of players would love to see Fortnite go back to their old ways back in chapter 1 season 1-3 where u had to depend on nothing but skill alone to win battle royal fights I honestly haven't enjoyed this game since the release of chapter 2 because every season this game came out with some insane updates and ideas changing Fortnite completely around chapter 1 was an amazing experience and honestly what made it so addicting to me and actually made me want to get better and I'm sad that new players can't experience that for themselves and old players like a lot of my friends quitting Fortnite because it not being the same anymore I really feel like epic should take chapter 1 season 1-3 specifically of Fortnite as a blueprint/idea not only for the next season but for the rest of the seasons to come because at the end of the day chapter 1 was the reason why Fortnite is known and popular today!!!!!!

So I have been playing a lot hots in the past, like account level 700, and at some point due to lack of new content I stopped, and recently I heard about new patches, didn't really read what was happening at these were some minor balances.
I thought that maybe game will be revived and attract new players, so I reinstalled couple days ago and went solo QM.
What I notice after like 30 games is that there are premade guys, like aba + either vaalera or samuro, that you walk all over my team, or there are like actual new players (account levels sub 50) that most of the time afk, or smurfs (having Smurf in name, low account level and playing like a pro), or some one trick ponys playing one hero smashing everyone, and some people with some skills, but complete lack of knowledge (don't soak and ignore obj, because of team fighting) - and all of those are mixed and matched in same game.
It seems to me that it is either smash or be smashed, and QM have like too small amount of people for good matches? Is this the same for league and ARAM? I know that there are steamers of GM level that do like start at bronze and go GM to show everyone that this is easy, or they make like bounty on certain people to harass them in match, which is not fun at all for the people wanting to defuse after hard day at work?
Do you guys have same experience or I just had a bad luck?

Playing survival. Cleared out all the synth guarding Joe's. Collected my carry weight in loot. Took it back to Sanctuary before heading back to actually clear the inside out. Got to the terminal you can activate to turn turrets on in the tunnels. Game bugs out when I click to activate the turret. Cant exit save because my character is in the middle of an animation. Cant cancel the animation by pulling my pipboy up. Lost all that progress to before meeting Deacon at the highway so now I have to clear the entire place out again and make that journey twice to bring back all the loot again.
When I realized I couldnt cancel the animation and I could exit save to reload before the animation... I'm done for tonight. Just ranting. I'll be back on tomorrow after work but damn that was a waste of 30-45min and a tough fight.

I know I'm supposed to ram dash through him. I literally double press my movement keys everytime. He charges too fast though. I don't understand how I'm supposed to fight him when the main mechanic doesn't work properly. Sometimes I double tap or triple, quadruple, one billion-uple press A or D and NOTHING HAPPENS. WHAT DOES THIS GAME WANT FROM ME.
What the hell am i supposed to do when the ram dash delay is longer than his charge delay, and it doesn't even activate sometimes. I know it's not a keyboard problem or smth because then I'd have trouble double tapping D. I'll demonstrate. dd dd dd dd dd dd dd dd dd dd dd dd dd dd dd dd dd dd dd (Obviously I know you can't see that i did that, just pretend you did see.) How the hell do i beat this boss.

So far we've gotten HuntAThons and Invasions as season mechanics. Invasions is more of a hide and seek mechanic for a new monsters rather then just throwing him in the wild and you have to work to find him because his gear is buffed.
So besides those 2 mechanics we are still missing alot of possible things to get added into the game. So I'm gonna write some possible things to hope for.

1. Daily Arena Challenges.

Basically similar to Arena Challenges on the main games where they give us a daily monster to defeat with 5 predetermined, specific equipment sets. The goal is simple, be skilled enough to defeat the monster in the time limit to complete the daily Arena challenge and receive a reward. I was thinking maybe it could of been a leaderboard system to it, but I think that's too complicated for just 75 seconds, so I figured a reward for defeating it would be nice. Possible rewards could be, a meal voucher(turn in for potions), zenny, a rare material from the monster we defeat.

1. Zenny Shop

Pretty self explanatory, it's a shop where we can dump our newly gained zenny from materials we discard to gain powers. The shop could give things like buffs, or use of a flash bomb at the beginning of a hunt.
Buffs could work as per hunt or a duration like range boosters work. 15 min or 30 mins of demon drug/stamina buff.

1. Palico Farm

Pretty simple here, give certain materials to the farm and after a couple hours or day, the farm provides certain materials for use, most likely for consumables, cold or heat potions maybe?

Palico we can gear up and fight with while we give them instructions for combat style. They could distract or provide utilities.

Hi there! First post on reddit so please forgive me if i'm not using any fancy text.
I've been DM'ing now on and off for around near 5 years, originally I ran for 2 separate friend groups with Vastly different likes and dislikes. I had to stop one groups campaign due to work schedules and as the such (gotta love adult life ;-;)
So recently my current group consists of close friends so it is quite easy to get things across but it can also be very easy to lose control of the table if we start having jokes and a good laugh.
the above is not the issues I'm having as the DM however the stuff above i'm fine with as long as we are hanging out and having a good time. My issues span from multiple small issues which I will list below Beginning with myself as I know I make plenty of mistakes as I DM but I'm looking for advice to make sure i'm not going crazy and being a C**T with some of my table rules i've implemented
My Issues I need to work on: Note Taking - I lose track of my notes (this has been getting better moved to an app called obsidian which I have stuck with and this seems to be working wonders for me) but still needs work.
World lore - Kinda a addition to the note taking issue I have, I like to chop change some things but I still want it to make canonical sense to the worlds timeline which can be a little messy at times.
Pacing - Oh god I'm awful for pacing sometimes I'm too fast or i'm far too slow my players spend an entire 7 hour session on 1 street corner being my worst example.
Sometimes Retconning Small things - I Don't know if I think its okay to do this, I've only had to do it twice in total I Hate retconning stuff as I feel like if maybe a player that doesn't shine to often finally gets out their shell i'm worried if I retcon something It can really take away from that players motivation.

So shappening dudes and dudets, DnD is going to be on the back burner for me for a Little bit cause personally feeling burnt out for a couple reasons that I'll get to in a little bit. So first things first the main thing I'm going to an induction day so I'm hoping I get this job (I got the Job whoop whoop) and DnD will be moved to every 2nd Saturday if thats gonna be a issue we can discuss that down the line. So the Number 3 joke died ages ago for me and its just annoying so stopping that would be nice thank you, anyone that says it going forward you'll just take 3 damage. Unfortunately the interrupting and pacing is horrendous I'm gonna do my best to keep my focus on the game and I ask so do you. For the time being kinda a add on to the previous my max player count I can do is 6 no more, "Player Name" please let "His Partner" know I do not mind if she watches but I can't have her play not until I feel like the pacing is better and no ones shouting over each other. The Cards, They are fun but i'm gonna rejig them to be less annoying and alot less OP, (I'm removing that bag of holding card) personal thing - If I ask something to do with in the game could you please just acknowledge you have seen it, cause I've typed in plane text plenty of times before and it just doesn't get listened to it starts with one person then everyone else follows if you get me and it can make some little instructions that make things easier for me alot harder. As the DM I want a bit more control So one of the major ones that I ask is NO ONE calls "Roll a persuasion to persuade me" or anything along that lines, it is unnecessary and tbh I find it a bit rude. NO Rape or Rolling Cock size. (its just weird and its disgusting you'd think of it tbh)
There are a few more other things that personally bother me but those are the main ones, the minor ones just consist of 1. Don't Make up your own lore of my own creation and then treat it as cannon, I didn't ask and I don't care.

1. Don't ask for any more custom items, if I give you something be happy and let it be a surprise. 3."did we level up?" i know its a joke but tone it down before it gets worse.
2. If you create a backstory please give me the footnotes of the main points that I can work with, don't give me a lore book about how garfunkle the black white man slain a beast. I won't read it. (Edit - I don't mind if they give me a book to read I do like lore I just mean here that I'd prefer notes of the main points in their characters story)
3. I would prefer Game things are sent on discord concerning characters thats a personal thing, I created the discord for me to be organised and have it all in one place so if you please could just send me stuff on that even if its a dnd beyond link I would like it all in one place. I get this is gonna be alot to read but I hope I get my point across. I am the dungeon master and I want to create a game for you guys to enjoy but I have neglected my own joy for the game and have been more lazy with it because of this. I have alot of stuff to fix from last session especially and I'm gonna try to be more focused on the game and create a better experience and all I ask is please listen, pay attention and any question on the world so you can clarify things you may ask me, if there is any issues during the session call for a break if its that major so we may discuss at the table and if its a small issue we discuss it after the session. So this is a pretty large post But I am looking for advice on maybe rules I should consider going forward, how to keep proper control of a party of 6 and just anything I should improve as a DM and anything I can further communicate to my players at the table.

LESSON 153. In my defenselessness my safety lies.
You who feel threatened by this changing world, its twists of fortune and its bitter jests, its brief relationships and all the “gifts” it merely lends to take away again; attend this lesson well. The world provides no safety. It is rooted in attack, and all its “gifts” of seeming safety are illusory deceptions. It attacks, and then attacks again. No peace of mind is possible where danger threatens thus. The world gives rise but to defensiveness. For threat brings anger, anger makes attack seem reasonable, honestly provoked, and righteous in the name of self-defense. Yet is defensiveness a double threat. For it attests to weakness, and sets up a system of defense that cannot work. Now are the weak still further undermined, for there is treachery without and still a greater treachery within. The mind is now confused, and knows not where to turn to find escape from its imaginings.
It is as if a circle held it fast, wherein another circle bound it and another one in that, until escape no longer can be hoped for nor obtained. Defenselessness is strength. It testifies to recognition of the Christ in you. Perhaps you will recall the text maintains that choice is always made between Christ’s strength and your own weakness, seen apart from Him. Defenselessness can never be attacked, because it recognizes strength so great attack is folly, or a silly game a tired child might play, when he becomes too sleepy to remember what he wants.
Defensiveness is weakness. It proclaims you have denied the Christ and come to fear His Father’s anger. What can save you now from your delusion of an angry god, whose fearful image you believe you see at work in all the evils of the world? What but illusions could defend you now, when it is but illusions that you fight?
We will not play such childish games today. For our true purpose is to save the world, and we would not exchange for foolishness the endless joy our function offers us. We would not let our happiness slip by because a fragment of a senseless dream happened to cross our minds, and we mistook the figures in it for the Son of God; its tiny instant for eternity.
We look past dreams today, and recognize that we need no defense because we are created unassailable, without all thought or wish or dream in which attack has any meaning. Who could be surer that his happiness is fully guaranteed? And who could be more mightily protected? It was designed by One Who loves His children, and Who would replace their fearful toys with joyous games, which teach them that the game of fear is gone. Today we practice in a form we will maintain for quite a while. We will begin each day by giving our attention to the daily thought as long as possible. And as distraction ceases to arise to turn us from our purpose, we will find that half an hour is too short a time to spend with God. Nor will we willingly give less at night, in gratitude and joy.

Please for the love of all that is holy, a group of regularly MA-players need to make a website with dueling guides to raise the game knowledge of people on the global servers, and specifically for global servers because the CN meta is different and has a lot more echoes and cards. Maybe someone with a lot of pull in the community like Kang/Bayonetta/etc. who can also promote it via Youtube to make the playerbase smarter.
We're 7 seasons into a game and people STILL do not know how to play in duels.
Every season on my road to MA I see:

1. Lunas who do not know how to hard counter Thunderstorm spam decks and who save for Thestral while getting killed by 10 million thunder strikes because they're too dumb to start using their echo ability to spam locomotor, crab, troll, whomping willow, and anything with high HP or an additional transformation phase like suitcase/yeti to soak up the thunder damage - meanwhile me in cover safely with nebulus and protego watching them die cringing internally since I know it's pointless and they'll die 3x without me being able to stop it because they don't know how to play Luna and if I throw my nebulus or protego on them and join them then it's an easy obscurus/whizbang/expulso/glacius etc. event. which would only set the team back even further as I would start taking damage too
   
2. Summon players who immediately start tossing out summons without checking to see if the enemy team drops Kevin and waiting it out to kill Kevin first to ensure enemy Snape can't do anything - if a Hagrid player is smart they don't even have to ban Snape past 8.1k since they can just tech in Accio, wait for kevin to drop, Accio kevin, kill kevin, and then GG as the Snape loses 80% of his damage since his echo is so ridiculously reliant on one companion. Accio can also hard counter Cassandra stalling but so many Hagrids I see bring no tech card for Cassandra or Kevin which is another sign of the playerbase being stupid and not understanding counters.
   
3. Players who have Protego in their decks but who save it for themselves solely and never drop it on their important companions (Cassandra, Daniel, Harry) or partners. If you have a vital companion like Daniel, Cass, Harry and have protego in hand, wait for 5 mana first so you can IMMEDIATELY RESPOND to any damage anyone tries to throw at your companion - but nope they just drop it and forget and then act surprised when their companion gets insta killed
   
4. People trolling with their decks and "testing" new or off meta cards when we all knew from the beginning that they're utterly worthless (ex. players unironically using Crystal Ball or Diabolica, or as I just witnessed yesterday, a stupid Neville in GM who was using KELPIE and BLUDGER instead of a standard dragon/crab/tree/etc. heal sustain deck - obviously my team beat the crap out of her and won in 2 mins and she did barely any healing to her partner and then I reported her afterwards for being stupid and not using meta Neville decks because I felt so bad for her partner who was expecting heals and sustain). Another way of trolling are the summon Bella players who have Bomb Box in their deck but only 1 or 2 summon targets (ex. monster book and manticore) which is an absolute waste of a card slot and absolutely ridiculous.
   
5. People trolling with their decks period and playing it as if it's another echo (ex. Luna players using both Snowball and Stupefy and then Pikachu facing when they find out they can't do anything against summon players - do you think you're playing Harry echo with the +50% extra damage to 3 cost spells you idiot?)
   
6. People who are so stuck in trying to make their decks "work" that they never try to adapt (ex. Hermione players who for 6 freaking seasons in a row still somehow think that 1 Sectumsempra in their deck is enough summon clear even though virtually every season adds new powerful summons to the game that further buff summon players (lol) like suitcase and mooncalf, and then who get really mad and blame others when it turns out that their lightning or whizbang spam can't kill Neville healers or Hagrid/Bella/Newt/Twin summon spam teams).
   

Even after reaching MA I STILL see people doing this. I'm starting to think Potions of Peace should only protect people up to Diamond because I'm sick of every season's climbing process watching all this cringe from the side as I rank up seeing decks that obviously have a negative win rate or can only go 50/50. It doesn't matter whether I face teams like this and get ez wins or have a partner like this and lose against a team playing meta; it's not fun either way because they don't deserve to rank up and legitimately do not understand the fundamentals.
The game knowledge is ABYSMAL still. I laugh when I see global players complain about the dreaded "Asian players" who they can't fight back against. In my experience, an asian name still in GM in mid/late season is a sign of a hardstuck GM idiot with negative win rate who has no idea how to play and no idea what echoes to ban according to his play-style, but who bought an account with high level cards. I 100% trust the people on global servers with Western/Anglo names more because in my experience 90% of the Asian players are brain dead and Luna players are easily the worst offenders for people who have no idea how to use their echo because 80% of them have no strategy other than "save for thestral; launch thestral, start saving for thestral again" even though summon spam with her echo ability is the reason Luna is a good echo since she can hard counter Hermione/Harry/Dobby/Bella by simply flooding the field nonstop with meta summons. And yet I can probably count on one hand the amount of Lunas who know how their echo works - when was the last time you saw, for instance, a partner Luna drop Pixies when she sees 3 incoming death eaters from Bella? 3 dead pixies and 3 useless crucios for 2 mana is an excellent trade but oh wait it turns out my partner Luna would rather the Death Eaters crucio her limited health and then try to frantically kill 3 death eaters with a snowball or stupefy (lol) so she can continue saving for thestral which she will inevitably miss against the enemy team anyways since they have broom/side along/obscurus/protego/etc.

So, Dream Tower was a small platformer with 20 levels in it, that I originally found and played on Cool math games. Using emulation, I was able to replay it for the first time in a long time, and I decided to grind out a WR.

but im the only person playing.
So I wanted to ask if people wanted to join in? I'd love to see it, and I can answer any questions like why the game is cool, what glitches there are, what skips I found (Most of them just skip doorways which are very slow, or occasionally platforming sections)

I am a Year 9 student who used to excel at school as whole in primary school. Ever since secondary school I have only been getting worse. According to my fellow classmates, I am one of the only dumb asian kids in our school and I often get made fun of. For the EOY Exams I got an average of 45% on Spanish, 65% on Science, I got a fking 46% on English and an 82% for Math. I am sick of tired of having bad study habits and I am the only one to blame. I play games during class and mess about and really concentrate.
I am sick and tired of this and I want to have a fresh start for Year 10 next and for GCSE. On this subreddit I see amazing individuals scoring 9s on so many subjects and I want that to me me when I do my GCSE. Just for the record I have taken DT, Spanish, FIlm Studies, Business and Economics for my GCSE Choices.
Please, any of you smart inviduals, please give a struggling Year 9 some advice on GCSE, study habits I could adapt and any tips or tricks that can help me do better next year. I seriously do not want to end up failing as I am an only child and do not want to let down my parents :(
