On 17 Aug A67 (2022), Thims figured out that 𓏲 = ram horn; (or Ram 🐏 head) prior to this the spiral ꩜ 100-value character 𓏲, from the TombUJ number tags, had been decode; in sum, the new view means Ra the sun ☀️ god in ram horn 𓏲 constellation, at spring equinox, in the 2,200-year period know presently as the age of Aries.
On 18 Aug (2022), Reddit user Skgody, working with Thims, determined that 𓏲 is the curl in the eye of Ra 𓂀 [D10] symbol.
On 19 Aug (2022), Thims figured out that curl in the red crown 𓋔 [S3] was a battering ram 🐏, a symbol of military power.

2024.05.14 19:05 Ok-Comfortable-9874 Messy Hit-and-Run

Last week my wife was involved in a car accident. She was at a stop sign and, from her account, the driver traveling on the road she was turning onto was stopped and waved her into the road. As she was finishing her turn the other car struck her front passenger side. Once they pulled into a gas station the other driver immediately gets out claiming this accident is my wife's fault. She then goes on to say that she doesn't want to involve insurance or call the police. This accident occurred in Tennessee where contacting the authorities for almost all accidents is required. She called me and I told her to hang up and call 911 because things just didn't seem right (this was her first accident so she was very frazzled to begin with). On the phone with the 911 operator they both gave their name, tag numbers (the other driver gave a fake tag ID, and both drivers said there were no injuries. Once 911 informed them they would dispatch someone to the scene the other driver said she was getting a lawyer and fled the scene without giving my wife contact information for herself or her insurance. We immediately filed an insurance claim and sent them all the information we had including a blurry picture of the other driver's license plate my wife got as the other car fled.
After some research I believe this could have been a driver trying to take advantage of my wife who was alone, in her 20's, and not in the best part of town. Because my wife would technically be at-fault the driver tried to pressure my wife into just paying cash because it "would be cheaper." The over $2000 worth of damages to my wife's car would say otherwise.
Now comes the fun part where I need some advice from people who have dealt with any situation similar to this just so I know what to expect and any possible things I need to prepare for. Today insurance contacted my wife to let her know the other driver went to the police station to file an amended police report and that they have a lawyer and are claiming an injury. Is there any chance that this driver actually would have a case against my wife even though she committed a hit-and-run by definition of Tennessee laws? I know in legal terms my wife was at fault, but the other driver committed an actual crime (at least I assume it is even though they identified themself later). On the amended police report the other driver still has not provided any insurance information.
So: Is there an actual case here? Should we go ahead and look into getting an attorney? Do we need to worry about pressing charges against the other driver for the hit-and-run or will insurance deal with that?
All help and advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

So watch a h3ntai with a weird tag in the url
So this is incredibly embarrassing and tbh I'm ashamed but I was watching a few hentai videos yesterday because I haven't in a while and I was on a site called spankbang. And found some animations by an artist named "pastakudusai" never heard on them but thought the animation style was nice so I watch a few eventually I get to one that just a simple gloryhole type vid watched most of it then I was about to move on. Went to close the tab and noticed in the url had the word along the lines one "infant-babe-etc" in and I mortified. I close all tabs. Clear history but im super scared
A few things I'd like to point out. I found the video in the related video section tab of a separate video in said tab the video is just listed as "girl" that's it. The "infant" thing only pops in the ur when you click the video
Also there are tons of other animations by this same artist some are even reuploaded under completely different names and none from what I seen had anything close the same stuff in the url just stuff pertaining to the tags or random numbers
l'm aware the some of the characters could be considered "loli" as in design aesthetic (one was a character from kunosuba) but there were also a wide range of character models and types and imo it doesn't seem like that is the artistes particular MO but that they do a wide spectrum of designs Nor was I specifically looking for loli either. I really h y gotten less comfortable with that whole side of hentai as I've grown and really don't see kids in that light in NO WAY like at all. And the character wasn't in like a school uniform or anything suggesting child like she was just a petite built anime girl idk where she's from but I assume a show
I know that "petite" women are a thing and I can fully appreciate and and have met adults with said features and I can get why someone would like some hentai characters for that same reason HOWEVER I can understand why they're also a taboo especially when the lean into sckechy territory however as I stated before I wasn't looking for this type of content or even in a "loli tag:(" it was just kinda mixed with the others with the sketch as url
I guess my problem is even if I just honestly stumpled on to the video did I mess up and get flag by the FBI or investigated or something I know it sounds dumb I know I does but I'm really stressed about this and despite how much I really wouldn't have click the vid if I read the ur there's no way to prove that
I know hentai in its self isn't illegal but the lines get blurry with the loli Stuff and Google all sorts of answers and well I wasn't giving anything definitive. All I could find is maybe??? Like it could be used they see obsence substantial to evidence and it’s happened to at least one guy
I'm not up to anything criminal to my knowledge nor do I go online looking for such things tho I have been into hentai since a teen I have been not trying to go near loli stuff in recent years while mainly from me just becoming uncomfortable with the subject matter as stated
I guess I'm just looking for someone with some insight, reassurance or something cus I don't know what to do and I was on a public site, I wasn't on any dark wep site and it wasn't a actual child or even looked like a real person and I would never click one some a blatantly gross as that I'm honestly kinda scared of any hentai am lol Again I know this is so dumb but I can't take this dread I have a girlfriend and nieces I would never do any to them or see them or any child that way nor do I want parents to see me as such n while I don't make the connection with those type of hentai to real children that's not the case for everyone and I hope I didn't ruin my life of an honest mistake that I never would have clicked on

New Survivor Perks

  • Mirrored Illusion This perk activates after completing a total of 50% worth of repair progress on generators. Press the ability button 2 when next to a totem, chest, generator or exit gate to spawn a static illusion that lasts for 100/110/120 seconds. Then, the perk deactivates.
  • Bardic Inspiration Press the ability button 1 while standing and motionless to enter the "performance" interaction that lasts up to 15 seconds and empowers Survivors within 16 meters. Roll a d20. This effect lasts for 60 seconds if the performance is completed. When the ability is cancelled or the performance completes, it goes on cooldown for 90/75/60 seconds. 1 You scream, but nothing happens 2-10 skill checks give +1% progress 11-19 skill checks give +2% progress 20 skill checks give +3% progress
  • Still Sight After standing still for 6/5/4 seconds, this perk activates. Until you start moving, you see the aura of the Killer as well as all generators and chests within 18 meters.

New Killer - The Lich

Killer Power

Bound with the skin and flesh of men, the Book is packed with spells both forbidden and wicked. To select a Spell, hold the Ability Button to open the Spell selection. The Lich has access to 4 different Spells:
  • Mage Hand: Creates a magical hand that lifts a downed pallet or blocks an upright pallet for 4 seconds.
  • Flight of the Damned: Conjures 5 flying spectral entities that can pass through obstacles and injure Survivors.
  • Dispelling Sphere: Casts a moving invisible sphere that reveals Survivors and temporarily disables their Magic Items.
  • Fly: Gain a flying speed for a short period of time, allowing you to travel a long distance quickly and move over vaults and pallets.
SPECIAL ITEM: MAGIC ITEMS
Treasure Chests found around the map can contain Magic Items. Each Survivor can equip up to two Magic Items at once: one pair of Boots and one pair of Gauntlets. These Magic Items are each connected to a specific Spell, and activate when The Lich casts that spell.
  • Boots/Gauntlets of the Interloper: The Survivor sees the aura of pallets affected by Mage Hand and gains Haste for 3 seconds.
  • Boots/Gauntlets of the Nightwatch: The Survivor can see the auras of the spectral entities conjured by Flight of the Damned.
  • Boots/Gauntlets of the Archivist: The Survivor can see the Dispelling Sphere.
  • Boots/Gauntlets of the Skyguard: The Survivor can see The Lich's aura during Fly and for a few seconds after.
SPECIAL ITEMS: HAND & EYE OF VECNA
Rarely, Survivors can instead find the Hand or Eye of Vecna in a Treasure Chest. When picked up and used, Survivors gain a special ability while at full health. Using one of these special abilities costs the Survivor a health state and reveals their location with Killer Instinct for 3 seconds.
  • Hand of Vecna: When doing a Fast Locker Entry, the Survivor is teleported to a further locker.
  • Eye of Vecna: When doing a Fast Locker Exit, the Survivor cannot be seen by The Lich and gains Haste for 12 seconds.

New Killer Perks

  • Weave Attunement When any item becomes depleted for the first time each match, it is dropped. You see the auras of dropped items. Survivors within 8 meters of dropped items have their auras revealed to you. When a Survivor picks up a Survivor item, they suffer the Oblivious status effect for 20/25/30 seconds. Oblivious prevents Survivors from hearing or being affected by the Killer's Terror Radius.
  • Languid Touch When a Survivor within 36 meters of you scares a crow, they gain the Exhausted status effect for 6/8/10 seconds. This perk has a 20-second cooldown. Exhausted prevents Survivors from activating exhausting perks.
  • Dark Arrogance Increases the duration you are blinded and the duration of pallet stuns by 25%. Increases regular vault speed by 16/18/20%.

  • Invocation: Weaving Spiders Decreased the time it takes to complete the Invocation to 60 seconds. (was 120 seconds) Increased the time it takes for an Invocation to completely regress to 90 seconds. (was 6 seconds)

New Map - Forgotten Ruins

A new Map comes to the world of Dead by Daylight, found in The Decimated Borgo Realm. A tower standing tall alone, but what is above ground hides a new world underground. A prison area where Vittorio Toscano was thrown in for some time. On the other side of the dungeon, the Alchemist room is found, where a scholar can learn secrets of the world, or the dimensions that surround the universe of the Entity.

Decimated Borgo Realm Update

The red lighting was a big issue in the realm of The Decimated Borgo. The art and lighting team took care to make the realm more accessible to all players and bring a different ambiance to the maps.

Known Issues

Characters
  • It is possible for The Dredge and a Survivor to get stuck in a locker if another Survivor tries to hide in the same locker before the teleportation.
Perks
  • UI feedback is missing for some Perks (Languid Touch, Weave Attunement, Bardic Inspiration).
  • Survivors' Auras are revealed when swapping an item held in hands with an Item inside a Chest with the Weave Attunement Perk.
  • The Survivor screams and animation triggers before the result of the dice appears with the Bardic Inspiration Perk.
  • Rarely there is no lute or dice animations when triggering the Bardic Inspiration Perk.
  • When rolling a 1 with the Bardic Inspiration perk, the lute song will continue to play indefinitely until the perk interaction is attempted again.
  • It is possible to spawn a second illusion when there is already one active with the Mirrored Illusion Perk.

*May come off as a rant, I'm sorry
So my employer hired an agency a few days ago and I got notice today that I'm being let go (I'm the only dev/seo/graphic designemarketing/network admin).
I'm kind of lost for words right now because they're asking me to help them convert the current state to WordPress which is what they were using before I built a completely new website.
I've worked for them for 4 months now, I built a static 70 page website from the ground up. This includes all graphic designs, graphic animations, modals, and the hundreds of design changes because they couldn't tell me what they wanted, without me having to make what they don't want. This includes 30 unique service area pages tailored to those areas and are all ranking decently well in a highly competitive service.
About 3 weeks ago, I converted the entire website to django (I have nightmares of changing hard-coded urls)
I built a complete admin dashboard, customer & employee portal. I built forms for blog posts and rss feeds that also posts to social media. I integrated CMS's, multiple api's; I made analytics dashboards, custom on site user tracking, automated geofencing campaigns and more (not trying to rant, I'm sure you get the point)
Then, 2 nights ago I get an email I'm CC'd on asking for DNS access. I knew what was going on I could feel it, but instead I worked 16 hours completely automating markup schema, meta tags and opengraph like an idiot.
Here I am building them a platform so they don't have to rely on 3rd party pay walls and now they cut their losses??? When I been asking them to setup a payment method for 6 days now so we could switch hosting LOL..
Now I have the agency asking me for the old static files (prior to me spending hours optimizing it). I told them to use a CLI to pull the static files off the current host (which I'm pretty sure is only a public directory) but It makes me feel better knowing they're struggling to do just that when I have a .rar file that's named "before_django_conv"
I'm mentally exhausted, I got laid off 3 months prior to working for them from my last job. I'm completely self-taught so getting interviews isn't easy.

Ok so polo jeans has a bad rep (needlessly so IMO), normally based on it not being true Ralph Lauren and it was purchased to kill off.
Surprisingly the facts are different and not as black and white.
RL purchased jeans co initially to integrate that name into their own line. So it would have been official RL jeans co.
Various designs were created or used to put to factories to create samples before they entered full production. Most of that new official RL jeans co designs were eagle wing items.
For some reason, probably thinking it is too similar to other lines, the idea was scrapped and jeans co was killed off.
Dealing with lots of items through my business. I came across an item the other day which has pretty much an unknown jeans co tag (as pictured). Totally legit (based on the materials), not too bad in quality and the design is something that was released under LRL and also POLO did a variation.
Possibly this photographed item was nabbed from an LRL design (when RL at least partly took the line back). One LRL release of this is just cotton, so they've taken the design, upped the quality and wanted it release under their jeans co line. For some reason it entered full production (as it's not a sample item).

‘Hey, did it work? Can you hear me?’ the tinny, female voice asked. All was dark, then, light. Slowly, his vision cleared and he saw the sky. The sun. Then, a small floating thing that bobbed and danced excitedly over him. ‘You're alive! Finally! I've been looking for you for a long time Guardian!’ that same voice said. It seemed to be coming directly into his ear from a speaker. He sat up and placed his hands on his head. A helmet was there. He began to gasp and panic, trying to remove it. ‘Hey, what are you doing? Calm down….’ the voice said. The helmet disappeared. He drew in a breath. The air was foul with a fetid undertone.
‘What the fuck? What are you? Where am I?’ He asked the thing which was now spinning and dancing in front of him. He coughed and placed his arm over his mouth. The stench was almost unbearable. The helmet rematerialized as soon as he moved his arm.
‘Sorry, but the air here is toxic. Not lethal, but not pleasant. Too many corpses rotting. I replaced the helmet to filter it. My name is Cilla, and I'm a Ghost. YOUR Ghost. I'll explain more about that later, but the long and short of it is you were dead for centuries and I brought you back.’ it said.
‘Dead? Centuries? Wait…. Why can't I remember anything from before I woke up here, who am I?’ He asked. ‘And what do you mean a ghost? Like you're also a dead person?’
‘No, Guardian. I'm more like a piece of the Light that brought you back. It's a long story and we will have time to go over it. Let's get you moving though. We are a long way from the city, and this area hasn't been patrolled or swept like ever. We need to move, who knows what kind of threats have been hiding here’ Cilla said.
‘Where is here, exactly? And which city?’ He asked as he stood up. He looked down and saw he was wearing a kind of robe like garment with gloves, pants, and armored boots. An armlet was fastened around his bicep. ‘And what the fuck am I wearing?’
‘This was once called Romania I think, these are the Carpathian mountains. At least that's what historical records I could find indicate. And you are wearing armor Guardian. You are a Warlock, which means you are powerful, curious, and capable of amazing things. Let's get moving. Seriously, this isn't a safe place. You did die here once already after all.’
He looked around. There wasn't much to see other than the wild beauty of a dark forest run wild that had retaken the civilization that was wiped out. It was haunting and lovely. But there was a hint of something….. dark. He looked down, and saw he was standing on a pile of bones in the remains of an old uniform. A piece of metal twinkled in the ruins of it's ribs. He bent and picked it up. As he brushed the dirt and grit off he asked the Ghost ‘Was this me?’
‘No, your body was reconstituted, that was the one you were on top of….’ She said. He looked down at the tag he had picked up. It read ‘Kassien’
‘Well, then they don't need the name anymore, and apparently I don't have one…. I guess you can call me Kassien instead of guardian.’ He said.
Cilla swooped. ‘Kassien! I like it!’ She said and spun in the air. Her voice was pleasant and slightly sultry. Weird. ‘Now let's move. There is the remains of an installation a few kilometers away. We probably won't find a ship there but maybe some weapons and a way to contact the city.’ she said.
‘OK, let's go. You can fill me in as we walk. First off, what's a Warlock?’ he said. He jumped down off of the mound he had awoken on, and was shocked to find himself gliding slowly down to the ground. ‘What the fuck, I can fly?’ he asked.
‘Not exactly’ Cilla said laughing a bit. ‘Warlocks can glide amongst other abilities. Let's cover the basics as we walk’ she said. And as he walked she explained about the Traveler, the Darkness, the collapse from the Golden Age, and the Guardians. By the time they reached the ancient military facility, he was reeling with it all.
‘So, I'm a space wizard?’ Kass asked. He looked at his hands and concentrated. She claimed he had this power of light flowing through him, and wanted to test it out. At first there was nothing, then, a bright ball of yellowish orange energy flickered into existence in his hand. In his shock he lost his focus and it exploded, taking his hand and lower arm with it. Blood was everywhere. The pain was searing and intense. ‘What the fuck!? Cilla!’ He shouted. She popped out if his backpack and floated there. She did nothing. He bled and the world turned black.
Then he was back. His arm was fine. There wasn't even a singed thread on his glove. ‘What just happened?’ Kass asked. He flexed his hand. No pain. He felt fantastic.
‘Well, you tried to use your power, formed a grenade, blew your own arm off, and bled to death…’ she said. There was a slight bit of humor in her voice. ‘Then I brought you back. I could have healed it, but I thought it best to get the whole ‘You are going to die over and over’ thing out of the way. That is part of the deal, boss. You can die again and again and it hurts every time, but I will always bring you back as long as I am not destroyed or the Light isn't choked off by the Darkness.’ she said.
‘That's kind of fucked up, but yeah, rip the bandage off I guess….’ he said sardonically. He walked over to the dark, gaping entrance and peered inside. ‘Don't suppose you know where we could find a light, do you?’ Cilla made no reply, but floated over his left shoulder and shot a focused beam of bright light into the darkness. ‘Nice, Cilla’
‘Thanks, Boss!’ she said and spun in the air. ‘I scanned the area, looks like there was an armory not too far inside. Maybe there are some guns left. We need a weapon or fifty.’
‘From what you told me about all the creatures here, yeah could be a good idea. Do guns kill them?’
‘Oh yeah, if there is one thing Guardians can't have enough of it's guns.’
‘OK, let's find some firepower.’ Kass said. They stepped inside, leaving the sunlight behind. That would be one of the worst mistakes Kass and Cilla made on that first day.

In ASOS, Samwell II, the chapter of the Mutiny at Craster's Keep, it's mentioned that "sixty-odd" black brothers left the Fist of the First Men with Mormont, and 44 made it back to the Keep. At that point, we know of a lot of Night's Watchmen mentioned throughout the books... I'd say, at least 60.
So, re-reading this chapter, I found myself wondering can we figure out all those who escaped the Fist, all those who reached Craster's, and all those who made it back to the Wall from the text ? Well, the first may be asking for a lot, we don't even know exactly how many they were, only "sixty-odd", and that's a lot of them considering that many of the known brothers died at the Fist, and so are not part of that number. As for those who got to the Wall, well, I'm not there yet in my re-read, and I also don't have a number to base my search off of.
But all 44 black brothers who were at Craster's Keep after escaping the Fist ? Now that sounds like something we can actually look for in the text ! Within the chapter itself, I found 23 named brothers who made it to Craster's Keep :

im sat in maccies with my young kid and some random staff member just sits at our table with us and.starts.chatting away for a good 6-7 mins, shes asking about my wife and my job and my health and all sorts. I should add I've never met this woman in my life.
She then hugs my kid who has no idea wtf is going on and starts patting her head and stuff. finally she leaves and sits at the next table and starts doing the same thing. Her name tag said "customer relations manager". She deffo works here as then other staff engage her.
Being bothered by friendliness isn't the worst problem in the world but it struck me as weirdly inappropriate and perhaps off putting to customers eating in.
Is this a thing or am I at a weird maccies. I don't come often.

Anyone willing to help me come up with a name for this unidentified Neoscona sp? Not an official one ofc.
They're around the same size as an average five PHP coin, so 27mm [this really depends though, they are usually visibly bigger than a Neoscona Punctigera for example], although with their legs tucked in. Usually called Samon by the locals, found in the province of Isabela, makes thicker webs than your average Neoscona sp. Colors range from light brown, dark brown, orangish, black etc. The most notable feature they have is the arrow-like pattern on their abdomen, which varies significantly between individuals.
The name I've come up with is "Sagittaiapetus", which literally means Giant arrow head. A big thanks for anyone who can share some of their ideas! 🩵🩵🩵

2024.05.14 17:18 CrimsonGatSett "Early Access"

I've played tarkov since 2017 ( a year after it's release) and a few things I'd like to note. First I'm not going to mention the obvious with the new edition.
To start, I hate this new Era of "Early Access" titles, when it's really just an excuse to not produce the game at the start. Dayz is not exception. If you were to tell me in 2017 that tarkov would not be in 1.0 I would have waited to buy. I have 1500 hours so it's been fun, but the fact that they do "major" changes every year vs wipe is so pointless. Since you get no real rewards for playing each wipe or even reaching kappa, the next wipe feels stale. Sure we got 3 new maps in the past 5 years but they've been unrunnable and not fun to learn. Adding landmines and other zones to new maps is just frustrating when they are in the middle of the map. When "Early Access" is thrown around I usually think that they are experimenting and trying to find and fix what works best. BSG however makes very tiny changes and will brandish them as game breaking. Each year I've played, audio, performance, and cheating have not only been a problem but all seemed to get worse as new content arrives. The rapid changes they are making because of the new failure they brought is how the game should of been handled to begin with. IMO I feel like having the same quests (with the exception of a FEW new ones) gets boring. For the people who haven't gotten kappa, it's fun getting until you've gotten it once or twice then it just feels stale, kinda like beating a story game a few times. If they have 3 separate quest lines, COMPLETELY different containing 0 quests from each similar, per wipe of the year (3 wipes usually per year). I feel like a game that's been out for 8+ years should of been out of Early Access years ago.
I also feel that edge of darkness should of gone away about 4 years ago. Before people freak, I say this because they kept it for greed, they could of added the unheard edition and been fine (as long as what was included was given to eod). The reason I think EoD should of been removed earlier than now is that too many have it. I honestly forgot about the custom name tag when buying it, and thought it was just a bug or player scav when I got killed by a white tag. It was never after I'd see white tags, and with 1500h that's saying something. EoD should of been limited, usually a "limited" product doesn't last 8 years.... unless it's Baja blast. They could of released the more expensive version and given EoD holders the items in it, EoD however was so broken, if you played tarkov frequently you had to have it. Money and guns don't matter from it, but a lvl 4 stash and gamma case makes a huge difference, and I'd still argue there are less than 100 people that have gotten Kappa that haven't owned EoD.
Arena is the last thing I wanna talk about, I know I got a large wall of text. BSG was so upset about arena doing bad they felt the need to make another cash grab with UHE. Arena however could of and CAN still be fixed easily. First remove all the maps in it now. Second add snips from maps similar hlto how CSGO did their 2v2 maps where they are fractions of other maps. Snips from maps like customs, maybe making it a Dorms fight, or for bigger team battles maybe even sawmill from woods. This would be the absolute cheapest way to get players to play, while still having features like voip. Of course the biggest change and most important, is stop trying to be CS or valorant. We don't need a buy system with money yatatat that's not what Arena needs. I'm fine with TDM and I enjoyed the 2v2 3v3 5v5 tournament mode but stop with the money to items modes. Also important, the weapons, armor, ammo etc... I hate what I'm about to say, but this feature needs to be copied from Call of Duty. What I mean is that you can make custom loadouts with whatever you want. Yes I get that it would issue a meta to the game but a system like this where armor and ammo stay at mid tier would work way better than play the game for 50h they you get to get a dusk cover on your ak. Another system, which is the one I want more, is one that compares to both Arena and Regular. Guns, ammo, armor, etc... pull directly from your stash, if it's tdm you'd keep the weapon and total ammo you had per death, where as a more hardcore version would be you can die and get looted per round and lose/gain gear giving more or less incentive to the quality of gear brought. There could be quest and other reqards that would give some help towards your Tarkov Regular character such as money and gear. This would give a boost to Early game and players not familiar with active combat. With familiar maps and situations relative to the real game, this would 100% give people a reason to buy Arena. But similar to other games the way to prevent fall off of the game even with changes, is a reward system that bsg can control. Rewards like winning a tournament gives you permanent clothing or gives you a random item like scav junk case does in the hideout. With rewards and a rotation on maps in the pool Arena would easily be playable.
Thanks for reading this wall of text, these are a few changes I think if implemented Tarkov would have reason to play and not just play until 30 and quit which is what the average level people stop at per wipe, and also give reason to play Arena.

City Connect Merch Came
The Vogt Coat is just as nice as the OG but man is the red sharp. The Guardians patch on the front and the CLE letters on the back are stitched. It fits well and I look forward to it gathering dust in my closet unless the temperature drops again until the Fall. The CLE on the front of the jersey are a bit nicer than the name and number on the back but overall I like it. It’s lightweight and comfortable. The hat fits me good which isn’t always guaranteed with fitted hats I’ve found and I was surprised that the red on both the hat and the jersey is a bit darker than I expected. Shout to MLB shop (Fanatics) and LaserShip for always getting stuff to me so fast!!! I work midnights so I’ll be sleeping soon but I’ll be happy to post additional photos or answer questions if people have them and nobody beats me to it because this stuff is very expensive, so I understand if you want more info. Anybody else pull the trigger and get your stuff yet? What are your thoughts?

Why doesn’t Jillian Harris follow Canadian Ad Standards and provide appropriate disclosures on her sponsored posts?
It dumbfounds me that this boss babe cannot follow basic rules when it comes to advertisements and sponsored posts, especially when she has a whole fan-girl team that should be reviewing and helping her with the posting process.
Firstly, this promo package she received is NOT a PRESENT, it is PAYMENT:
  • Payment means any form of consideration, including financial compensation or other arrangements, such as provision of free products (see definition of Material Connection).
  • The disclosure guidelines apply to all exchanges of value between an advertiser—or a party working on behalf of an advertiser—and an influencer. This may include free products, monetary exchange, or other perks with the expectation— explicit or implied—that a promotion or inclusion of the advertiser’s products in a post occurs.
A post like this requires a DISCLOSURE and disclosures should be CLEAR, conspicuous and easy to understand:
  • Hashtags that have been recognized as clear and widely accepted include:

    ad, #sponsored, #XYZ_Ambassador, #XYZ_Partner (where “XYZ” is the brand name)

  • Where the influencer receives payment other than financial compensation, such as free product or an exclusive invite, and the influencer talks about the product or the event, they should disclose the nature of the material connection in order to be transparent, such as #GiftedProduct.
There is no guarantee that consumers are LISTENING to the stories videos - many people keep them muted and read through or read the captions, which Miss Jillian Harris does quite often- except when it comes to this story - she doesn’t use captions, and the only text on the page is the brand and other partnered influencer. Where is the “gifted item” or “sponsored post” type?
  • There is no guarantee that viewers will read, hear or see a message unless it is presented prominently at the beginning of a piece.
  • Some mediums may require both visual and audio disclosures. Disclosures should be written, said, and/or displayed somewhere it can be easily read, heard, or seen. • For example, Facebook/Instagram videos often play without sound, so a visual disclosure would be needed within the video itself in addition to disclosure within the caption. For Instagram photo posts, inclusion in the caption should suffice.
  • Don’t: Simply “tag the brand” - Effective Disclosure Tips: • Some influencers only tag their sponsors, some tag brands with which they have no relationships, and some do a bit of both. Viewers cannot be sure that simply tagging a brand indicates material connection.
So why does this matter? In many other countries, these ad standards have become punishable under law. In Britain, influencers have to disclose disclose disclose or they receive complaints and will be fined if there are continuous complaints against them (such as not disclosing hotel stays). There is a ton of information online about all of this.
Why does this matter? Influencers with much less followers are bound by these guidelines - brands and agencies partner with “smaller” influencers and as part of their contract explain EXACTLY what needs to be written and disclosed - because it is not only on the influencer but also on the BRAND to ensure these standards are being followed.
So why can’t Jillian Harris, self-proclaimed story-teller and full-time influencer, do her job right? Does she truly believe she’s ABOVE basic standards, which are put in place to protect consumers from big brands and influencers?

2024.05.14 16:49 Ok-Bumblebee5667 Rolling on back around other dogs.

My dog 25lb poodle mix seems to enjoy other dogs. She loves being chased. However when the other dogs “catch” her she rolls over and freezes and lets all the dogs just come and sniff her at the dog park. I’ll come over and call her name and she’ll get up,run around looking for another dog to chase her. I know her laying on her back and letting all the dogs sniff her can lead to dog fights. It hasn’t yet because I make sure when she is close to getting caught in the chase I am right there to tell her to get up. Is there a way to fix this? It’s like a game of tag but she never wants to be “it.” When we walk into the dog park she immediately wants to run around and find another dog to chase her. She ignores the dogs who don’t want to chase her.

I use MDT to deploy to our organisations devices, the MDT server uses WDS and PXEBoot for deployment, and is not joined to an AD or domain.
I recently set up an SQL database to store a list of our assets with their asset tag/name and their associated serial numbers, so that during deployment there is no prompt to set the OSDComputerName provided the device being deployed matches a serial number in the database.
I noticed that for devices that are not already in the database, the deployment wizard will prompt for credentials to the network share (which are stored in the Bootstrap.ini already and haven’t been changed), but will prefill the boxes with the information in the Bootstrap.
Is this expected behaviour for devices not in the DB? Anything in the DB will just ask for the task sequence, and then skip everything else which is expected.
Any solutions or advice? Cheers!

well - with the above mentioned correction - we ensure that the query properly selects nodes, ways, and relations with the "financial" office tag within the specified area.
