I've got the FX I need to get an OK bass guitar sound. In my headphones mix (mixing nob in the middle between input and playback, direct monitoring switched on) I can hear both the guitar and the bass, but the bass is delayed. When turning mix nob fully to playback, I only hear the delayed bass. I'm trying to get to a point where I can hear only bass without delay while recording. So I figure it has to be a delay of the signal coming out of reaper, i.e. output latency. But I've tried different values (10-2000 ms) in the output manual offset setting and it doesn't seems to make a difference. I also played around with input offset and buffer size - nothing seems to make a difference. I saw some recommendations to install asio4all but also read that it's not relevant with my interface. We might have much better in-memory compute (though idk much about it), and the speed of RAM catches up to CPU speeds so that 3 or so levels of cache wouldn't be needed. Or might even ditch electronic chips entirely and switch to chips that use photos instead of electrons, or find more applications of quantum computing that could work for consumers (there isn't many right now outside of some heavy math and scientific computing uses). And a lot of utils interact with filesystems, perhaps future ones could emerge where instead of having to find files "manually", you could give SQL-like queries to a filesystem and get complete lists of directories and files.
Or none of the above happens?

NT is a nonfree OS used mainly for its popularity. It has some weird traits, such as paths usually using backslashes. (I think that would be good if it allowed escaping other characters with forward slahes. However, it instead bans file names containing characters that need to be escaped in normal systems (which only ban forward slashes))
I have some problems with networking on my NixOS machine. So, for a certain purpose that involves heavy use of the internet, I use a different machine. That machine runs NT. Recently, during a session, it started lagging a lot. It seems like it started to download some updates, and doing so requires a lot of CPU usage. (It automatically downloads and installs them.) So, I decided to send them the following suggestion: During the active time, NT should only download updates when a third-party app is running, and the resources used for it should be shown as used by the third-party apps. This way, users will think the problem is in the app and therefore be more likely to switch to a different one until they get the non-third-party one for this purpose and less likely to switch to a better OS. (The active time is the time when NT doesn't automatically reboot)
I don't have any prior experience of sending a suggestion about NT
According to what I've found, the feedback centre should be in the list of programs in the Start menu (equivalent to Plasma Application Launcher). I tried searching both manually and with the built-in search feature, but couldn't find it

I have a list of 10 windows hostnames their respective User ID and Passwords with me.
I have my Ansible Host (Ubuntu) through which I want to connect 10 windows machine.
The issue here is all the I want to establish a connection I have to go to that window machine, enable WinRM, enable 5986 port (since only 5985 is allowed by default), allow the traffic etc... so the physical intervention is required .
I want to totally automate this process using only my Ubuntu machine which acts as a controller here. Kerberos in Windows have a bit strict rules so I am unable to establish the connection.
Note: after running manually WinRM QC in Powershell and adding https listener I am able to connect to Kerberos.
But we can't go to all the 10 machines and then manually type out "WinRM qc" and work right. So I need some solution

In about a month I’m moving to a state where there are no casinos.
I’m tempted to have one last big hurrah and play a little. I don’t know if it’s okay if I just take a little money and leave my cards at home. It’s not going to be easily accessible to me for a long long time. My birthdays coming up and I’m like maybe I’ll just play for my birthday & it’ll be a last time thing

In anticipation of Xon's return after maint and out of pure boredom (since there was nothing to do in the game this week), I decided to make a spreadsheet of every single source of self/ST killer that Phantom Thief Xon can steal/receive (we already know from both the social media infographic and the datamine that PT Xon has the ability to copy/steal buffs like MM Xon in addition to distributing them).

I've bolded the best possible unequivocal choice for some of the races (specifically the stepup VCs we've been having as of late). Just so you can immediately see what the best choice is before going through the rest (for those of you with/without the card).

Usage
This is mainly for DV/min-maxing/teambuilding/theorycrafting purposes. It does not include CoW-exclusive killers and such. Maybe I'll add a tab for it if I ever get bored again. There's not even a CoW this month so there's no urgent need for it anyway......Why
Why use this sheet over FFBE Equip? Well actually to be honest a search on FFBE Equip is going to suffice like 95% of the time. But again, as stated above, this is for top-end/min-maxing purposes and trying to find the absolute best possible source for your team (pretty much DV scenarios). It also includes some details that FFBE Equip might not have/capture in terms of active killers, such as: targetable VCs, obscure sources like limited materia or accessories like Ihana/Ilmatalle's STMRs, etc. Another thing the sheet has is unit categories - making it easy to filter through the absolute perfect pick for your team.What It Does Not Include
- AoE killers - self-explanatory. This is a guide tailored for XON. If you're considering/looking for AoE killers then Xon's unique stealing/spreading mechanic does not come into play here. So if you do not have Xon or do not plan on pulling for him/using him, then ignore this sheet, it will not be of any use to you whatsoever.
- Future JP units/equipment - this sheet only includes current units/equipment in GL. There's no use for me to go through the trouble of including JP stuff when we know how much they like skipping everything.
- Support units - the whole point and beauty of Xon ever since his MM version has been used in so many DVs in the past is that he allows you to skip a dedicated support unit/killer buffer such as Sylvie, Ihana, Ilmatalle, Melissa, Rosa, Sarah, etc etc... Therefore I did not include them in this sheet because the point is literally for you to find non-dead weight slots for your team in terms of damage.
- MACHINE KILLER - you will notice that the sheet has information for all races except machine. Why? Because! According to both the infographic and the datamine, we already know that PT Xon has a 250% phys+mag machine self killer buff in his kit! Therefore, there is literally no other better option for machine killer ever in any context or situation involving PT Xon. Sidenote: it's kind of hilarious that this actually kind of renders the stepup VC to not be as valuable (I'm relieved that I will not have to get it, just personally speaking, but if you're a fan of the art by all means go for it).
- Really old units - I think my cutoff is somewhere around Lara Croft? I probably should have made the cutoff later but I wanted to be as thorough as possible just in case of any niche/obscure strats with older units/etc.
How to Use the Sheet
On the landing tab are links to all the different sections for each race (as well as one for all races). Optional: For some races with a lot of entries (like human for example), if you want to filter the results down even more, you could do the following:
- Click the Filter Views icon at the very top (it's right next to the Print icon). This will create a temporary session in which you can do whatever filtering you want without affecting the actual sheet for others. Click Dismiss if one of the automatic messages pop up.
- Now you can filter through the columns. Click the Filter icon (funnel shape) on either the P+M?, UNIT ELEMENT, or the
column. - P+M? column refers to whether the buff is only physical, magical, or both. If your team has mages, make sure to select the checkmark filter.
- UNIT ELEMENT column is self-explanatory. Make sure to also include 'Any' when filtering (this will load universal sources such as equipment).
- The categories columns are also there if your LS happens to be based on thematic categories and not just an element.
- The other filters are unnecessary, these aforementioned ones are really the only ones you should ever touch.

So if this sheet is mainly for DV use and we haven't had a DV since February... And next month is probably CoW with no DV and then EoS after... Then um what exactly do we use the sheet for?🤷

Good luck on those pulling. I personally am but only with tickets (🤞) or hopefully video summons (🤞)... Despite his low-ish damage I do really like his kit, most especially the versatility of his imperils (coupled with the 90% break and his non-elemental burst), which opens up a lot of teambuilding potential for him to be the breaker of any team, especially with his CW-Support tag ensuring that he will fall under every single GL-upgraded LS moving forward. His drawbacks are the low-ish damage like I mentioned, no copying of LB buffs (like his predecessor), and no thematic tags for the upcoming Overdrive mechanic. Lots more to say there, but that's beyond the scope of this post.Peace ✌️
