I do not think anything that has been officially released about Kate by the Royal Family should be treated at face value or accepted as true. Because they released the Frankenphoto, and the AI video, approved the farm video, and staged the William car paparazzi shot, nothing they have said about “planned abdominal surgery” or “preventative chemo” or Kate apologising for anything can or should be taken as true.
So when speculating about what is happening with Kate, one can only use what the Spanish reporter has said for conjecture, based on her track record as a royal reporter, her sources and access, and the lack of pushback (she has not been sued or silenced and has doubled down on what she has said). Her information is more credible than anything that has come from the Royals.
The idea of “planned abdominal surgery” is a lie. Everything that was said in the AI video is a lie. All we know for a fact are dates: when she and her children were last seen, when her mother and father were last seen, when her medical records were cause of concern, when the Palace has issued press statements.
I think trying to fit what the Palace has said into what has happened is a mistake, which becomes evident as soon as you apply logic, because if what they said was true, what they are doing makes no sense. Including King Charles’s miraculous recovery from cancer, as evident by his actually being seen out and about often, and his healthy appearance. He looks absolutely no different from before it was announced he had cancer.
So when thinking about what happened to Kate and her family, keep the incongruity of all of this in mind. I believe speculation that throws out what the Palace has said will be closer to the mark than speculation that uses what the Palace has said as its starting point.

I am fresh off the heels of finishing my first full campaign and I’m in love with this game. It partly took me so long because I was running multiple campaigns with friends and solo.
Minor spoilers for Act 3: My gripes really reached their peak when the final gathering of allies happened. A group of characters I’ve barely interacted with are all cheering while my other companions are just chilling at camp? The fact that these typically npc characters can but companions can’t be summoned for the final battle is so strange to me.
This could have been balanced by making the final battles more difficult if need be.
On top of that, I can’t help but wish that the companions had more to do if not recruited. This is done a little with Laezel and Shadowheart but Shadowheart has to be recruited and the other companions just disappear if not recruited. If Karlach, Wyll, or Gale aren’t recruited or leave camp they are never seen again and that’s just so disappointing. Even if they end up dead or succumbing to their “”inevitable”” fates I’d like to at least see where and surmise how they went out. Even if it’s seeing Wyll make it to Moonrise or Karlach make it to Gortash only to fall in battle due to the lack of powerful allies. Or perhaps they join forces and have a separate camp.
Companions should be able to romance each other. They flirt with each other all the time while traveling and I don’t see why not. This wouldn’t take much more effort aside from a couple extra lines of dialogue letting Tav know that they are betrothed to another or something. I enjoy Halsin and Gale’s character arcs but I don’t want them trying to fuck me every time I help them out. Even if I did, adding this option would allow me to have the best of both worlds. Romancing Halsin as Karlach and Gale as Astarion lol.
Overall, I would have preferred if companions felt EVEN more like individual characters rather than people who only exist in service of Tav. I’d go as far as adding the option to leave my own tav at camp if I want and just having a group of origin characters without having to select origin character from the jump. Make it so if a party dies in battle, the player then chooses who to play as in camp and they can either work to revive their fallen companions or move on without them.
Also, least hot take ever but no companion should be locked until halfway through act 3.
At the end of the day, BG3 is still a better game than I could have dreamed and in no way am I trying to undermine the herculean undertaking Larian had in crafting this experience. Still a 10/10 and one of my favorite games of all time. I just hate feeling like there is such missed potential even in something as great as BG3.

I have consuming, debilitating health (and death) anxiety! When I say consuming and debilitating, I mean it - BAD. Well, I knew Reddit was out here because of my Googling my symptoms. I get constant head pressure like someone is squeezing my temples, which makes me think I’m going to pass out, which makes me fear being alone. My husband is my safe place - I hate being anywhere without him. And I know I drive him nuts with my symptoms. I used to be able to take off, just my kids and I, for days at a time, but now I can’t - my health anxiety says I’m going to fall out and leave them stranded. I know I can start my medicine back up, but I have anxiety about that too. Every chest pain, I’m certain is a heart attack. I’m with my bf for 4 years, going into 5 this July. There’s one thing that makes me sick and I can’t forgive easily, and that’s lying. He knows that from the moment we met, I can’t stand lies and I always want the truth even if it’s bad news.
Throughout this years there have been 3 to 4 events where I knew the truth about something, I tried asking him about it and giving him the chance to explain himself to me, but he just straight up lied to me. It was really intense because the first two times I couldn’t give him evidence that I know how things happened so he just continued with a lie. He managed to confess a day after, or even some times months later in a random conversation where we both were “fine” so he felt comfortable saying he was lying back then and that I was right about the events.
He has just started at a new job, where he is the only guy there among other 2 guys and a lot of girls. I had a work opportunity outside our country so at the moment and for 4 months I’m going to be abroad so it’s been even more difficult for us. I catch myself getting insecure sometimes when a woman I don’t know is involved, but I try to soothe myself because I do know he loves me and that I’m being unreasonable with those thoughts. For the whole month that I’m away, we always speak on the phone and two hours pass by with him rambling about work and always defending one specific girl at work. Yesterday, while he was at work, I texted him and he didn’t reply but was active on instagram. I don’t check that in any way and I don’t care, but it happened to show his profile to a friend I met here so I saw he was online and thought “he’s here but doesn’t reply to me” and thought about making fun of it because I do like teasing him. When I was at his profile, the following went up when I refreshed it, and I found out that it was the girl he’s been so much mentioning from work. I’ve already sent him a teasing message, and he replied that he wasn’t on instagram. Then, the story changed to “her sister called him on insta”. That’s a straight up lie because he never speaks on insta with his sister. He sent me screenshot of the “call”, which was made at 17:28 from his part and ended the same time from his part again. But I’ve asked why he doesn’t reply to me at 17:10, where supposedly he was speaking on the phone with his sister. I knew he was on insta to accept the request from this girl from work, so I just wanted him to tell me the truth, it’s not even a big deal. But the way he lied to me and made up stories rather than just saying that made me feel sick. I might overreacting but I physically can’t stand lies, I wouldn’t lie to anyone let alone the person I love. He was keeping up with the lies until the end of the day, even though I have him a lot of chances for him to just say the truth. At midnight, on the phone, he finally said that he was on instagram because this girl sent him a request but that happened during the end of his shift, around 20:00. He was still lying to my face so I just said to him what happened and how I knew the story and knew he was lying the whole time about something so so minor. He finally confessed that all the stories he told me was a lie, and he justify it that he “wasn’t thinking and was an immediate move to lie to me because he kinda felt guilty about it”.
I know it’s a minor issue at the moment of the way it happened, but it has happened before with much bigger problems, I’ve always told him that I can’t respect someone who lies to my face and is fine about it, but I just can’t help myself to think of how he was okay lying, and how many other “lies” I might have believed only because I didn’t know the truth or didn’t have the ways to prove my gut feeling. He says he won’t ever lie to me again and that he don’t want to lose me. I love him and I also don’t want to lose him but I do feel overwhelmed and can’t stop thinking about how he lied straight up and even got offensive when I tried to tell him the truth.

Let me start off by saying I had followed her for years. Back when she was making her little videos that would only get 100 or 200 likes. I was like, wow she seems genuinely nice. Boy, that didn’t last long. Whether you are a Christian or not, it’s important that you know she’s a pastor’s wife, and her whole mission from the beginning was to be a “genuine and authentic christian influencer” since they “don’t exist anymore”. Flash forward a few months, the changes slowly started happening. The videos were getting more likes, the influencer accent was adapted, then the nail tapping and the quirky little smiling at the beginning of videos.
Now, it is her life; But the ONLY reason she became so famous was the desperate young christian women who needed a role model, (who she promised to be) the ones she’s completely forgotten about while she’s living her high-rise lifestyle. Put aside her doing every brand deal under the sun and becoming insanely un-relatable, what really irks me is the hypocrisy.

I think she has went against her old “core values”, I think she’s fake, I think she’s a hypocrite, and I think she just wants to play a pastors wife v.s being one. I remember all of the women in her comment section thanking her for not being so out of touch, flash forwarded today and she’s so far gone it’s crazy. Like her buying a brand new Mom car that she completely trashed right after getting it, when she just got a brand new car when they moved- I can’t. And randomly spending anywhere from $400 to $600 a week at grocery stores for a “small haul”. An assistant? A stylist? 💀

Sometimes I find myself involved with theatre musicals that require editing entire multitracked shows that are about an hour to two hours long. We don't have a person to mix the recording live at the moment, so it's all recorded as wav files and edited in post.
As you can imagine, one show can take an entire day to edit on its own, and soon these shows will be happening every day. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to make this process faster?
I'm using Nuendo 13 (essentially like Cubase) on a Windows 10 PC: 16GB of DDR4 RAM, Intel i5-9600K 6-core 3.7GHz processor, and an NVMe M.2 SSD.
The things I'm struggling with specifically at the moment are as follows:

• Sometimes gain levels are too low so I can't easily see from a distance where dialogue might be, so I need to scrub through manually which takes a very long time. I can't normalize the whole track to 0dB since other louder peaks prevent the lower ones from increasing in gain.
• If I'm editing radio mics, whenever cast are not on stage there can be loud static and popping noises in the recording (obviously muted front of house during the live show). This also makes it more difficult to determine where speech/singing is from just looking at the track. I have tried using the SpectraLayers plugin to get rid of the noise, but because the files are so large it chugs my PC so hard that I can't do anything else for the entire time that it's processing. Even when finished, it still doesn't get everything and can sound quite muffled.
• Cutting out portions of silence to clean up the mix has to be the biggest challenge. For example, when an actor is waiting in the wing, or loud shuffling and breathing heavily during a big scene change. If I use a noise gate, even with a slow attack, it might cut off some dialogue and not catch the louder noises.

I know this is a very specific set of circumstances that not everyone has to deal with that often, but if anyone has any advice or suggestions I would really appreciate it!

I (40m) work for a company that gives their employees free tickets to concerts and basketball games at the Miami Kaseya Center (formally the American Airlines Arena).
My sister (20f) asked if I can get tickets for T. Swift. For context I have to use any tickets received for myself and my guest(s); depending on how may tickets I get. My company has a suite at the Arena and there are only 16 tickets available per event. If too many people want tickets, the company does a lottery and hands out tickets to those selected. Unfortunately, I was unable to get the Taylor Swift tickets and my sister was bummed out when I told her. She’s the youngest sibling and is a bit spoiled.

She never made a point to be friends with my boyfriend and is still upset saying that I am selfish. Okay so I need some serious help and guidance. This is going to be a bit of a story, so i apologize for the length.
Info: 23 yr old male, gay, 5”5, 130 pounds-ish
(Sidenote: I used to be a fat child so I’ve always had body image issues, and in high school I was anorexic/ bulimic for a few years. The issue I’m going to be discussing is separated from these past occurrences, but I thought my past with eating disorders was worth mentioning as it’s related).
My issues began about 3 years ago. I started getting more into fitness for aesthetic reasons. Before this decision I was already very healthy (exercised about 3 times a week, no alcohol, lots of Whole Foods, good sleep, and have been a vegan for many years beforehand). Once I made this decision to get more into fitness, I developed an eating disorder over time and bad body dysmorphia. I over-exercised and under ate, I was not fueling or recovering properly from lifting sessions, which made me lose a lot of weight that I did not need to lose as I was already skinny beforehand. Eventually after about a year and a half i realized my issue and began eating more, which lead to great results both physically and mentally. However it seems that since recovering from the eating disorder, the over exercising has come back. I’m no longer afraid to eat enough, but i just am doing wayyy too much. I’ll put my full current routine below, but to sum it up I’m working out everyday, at least an hour and a half. I have two hardcore leg days (Mon/Fri) along with a lighter leg day that is combined with one of my 2 arm days (Weds), 2 arm days (Weds/ sun), and 3 abs/ core/ full body yoga days (Tues/ Thurs/ sat). I do lifts at home using dumbbells, kettlebells, and resistance bands, as I don’t like working out with others. My current routine gives me the aesthetic goals I want, which is strong legs/ glutes, a toned waist, and toned arms, but this routine is taking away a lot from my life. I don’t want to progressively overload with weights as I already did this going from a 20 to 30 to 40 pound dumbbell I’m currently using, plus I’m ok with my current muscle size. I just want to modify my current routine to give me similar results but not have it take over my life. I wake up between 4:30 and 5AM every day since i workout in the morning, as this is the only time i can do so. I have to wake up so early because the workouts I listed above take so damn long. My 2 hardcore leg days (Monday and Friday) used to only take 2 hours, and now they’re 3 hours. I get results, but the rest of the day I feel weak, exhausted, and like I’m running on stress hormones. This is the major issue I’m having, as my main goal with weightlifting was to have juicy thighs/ glutes, which I’m getting, but at what cost. My remaining lighter leg day (Wednesday) is also combined with arm lifts and a 45 min walk. For 2 of my 3 abb days (Tuesday/ Thursday) I do an hour and 20 mins of stomach vacuums, an intense 25 min core/ full body yoga video, and then a more relaxed 30 min full body yoga video, which ends up being about 2 1/2 hours counting rest and bathroom break. For the remaining 3rd abb day (Saturday), I do the vacuums, the intense core/ full body yoga, and then a 10 min jog ending in a sprint (about two hours total). My remaining day (Sunday) is just arms and a 45 min walk which I have no issue with.

⚫️I need help in reducing this routine. It is taking over my life. I have to go to bed by 9:30 every night in order to sleep enough for a morning workout everyday, which has drastically killed my social life. This exercise disorder has killed my libido, and I’m almost certain my cortisol levels are too high because I go through days of water retention/ bloating most likely due to constant physical & mental stress. My Goal is to restructure and lessen the entire routine overall to be more sustainable, but my main focus is to reduce the length of time for leg days.
⚫️I need help Specifically with shortening the mon/ fri leg days so they don’t take 3 hours. Theoretically I understand it shouldn’t take 3 hours, but because of the large number of sets & reps, I need to take more rest periods in order to finish the full leg workout. I like the leg exercises (reverse lunges, squats, deadlifts, and glute bridges), but just not the excessive reps. Ive accepted that reducing these leg days may result in some muscle loss. I just need to find a way to still do these 4 leg exercises with similar results I have now, but not taking as long. I’ve heard that excessive reps actually hinders muscle development. Are my rep numbers considered excessive? and would reducing my rep numbers cause muscle loss, even if they’re excessive?
⚫️Is two leg days (instead of 3), enough to maintain my current muscles? I want to cut out the additional 3rd day of leg lifts on my Wednesday arm day, but I’m worried that cutting out these lifts will make glutes smaller.
⚫️ Is 2 abb/ yoga days enough for tone? Would cutting off the 3rd day negate or improve my goal of have a defined but slim torso? I’m worried this 3rd abb day I’m currently doing could eventually overdevelop my core, which I don’t need as my torso is already square shaped. However I’m also worried that only doing 2 abb days a week will make me wide torso less defined. This 3rd abb day is on Saturday, the day after one of my intense leg days, so I always feel depleted and exhausted for this workout.
⚫️LASTLY…. I need outside perspective. I’ve already spoken to my cousin about this as she’s a personal trainer, and she Told me I was really overdoing it. Ive already reduced my Reps for leg days to my current routine, but it still feels like too much. I know I’m overdoing it, I’ve known for a while but I just feel stuck and that I’ll lose my results if I modify my routine to be more sustainable. I love fitness but this is taking a toll on my life. I know that I need to lessen this routine, I just have no idea where to start, and no idea how to restructure it in a way that still gives me similar results to what I have now. Hello!! I've been meaning to get into the sonic games for years now! I used to play the OG games as a kid but I wanted to learn about the new ones! Is there a specific order I should play them in? I only have a PC and Switch and I'm unsure if I can play all the games using those. My 11 year old is having severe meltdowns, displaying risk taking behaviours, becoming destructive and generally crashing from one disaster to another.
We are in the child mental health system in Melbourne but honestly the only thing we have gotten out if it is getting her on meds for her ADHD, but almost 8 months in we are still not at a therapeutic dose (currently on concerta 53mg she is 167cm and close to 80kg - binge eating and food hiding/stealing is another issue). They have not offered one therapeutic suggestion for her this entire time, and the process in their system has felt like they were trying to see whose fault it is, or WHY she is like this rather than HOW we can help her.
She has a counsellor - we don’t get any feedback from her and while my child doesn’t mind going she says she tells her nothing and they just play games.
Her meltdowns are becoming wilder, her stealing and risk taking behaviour more extreme and brazen; although she made progress from last year’s school refusal and self harm, which is amazing, she seems to be spiralling ever lower and says the meds are doing nothing whatsoever.
I don’t know what to do. I feel sure she has many symptoms of BPD, but if she isn’t on a high enough dose of the stimulant medication how will she feel better? Could the meds be making it worse? She went from ritalin to concerta recently.
We are doing all the things but her behaviour is worse and so heartbreaking for us all.
Anyone have suggestions of counsellors Or other professionals they woud recommend? We are currently at the Austin, have been turned away from the children’s for being out of catchment - we caller an ambulance once when she was suicidal but it never came- they sent the police instead and even they couldn’t get an ambulance.

Hi, so, I've been trying to figure out my MBTI for a while now and initially I thought INFP before realizing that was painfully wrong. I've since figured I'm an xNTP. Now I just need to figure out which I am between the two.
Points foagainst Inferior Fe (or Tertiary)
• Enjoy bringing up certain topics to mess with people and make entertaining conversations (A burrito is a sandwich, salsa could in theory be a spaghetti sauce, a questionable game me and my friends played the others weren't there for, etc.) • Bad at empathizing with people (This is mostly because I get uncomfortable dealing with other people's emotions and tend to just joke around) • Bad at "reading" people (This may because I'm neurodivergent but I struggle to understand people's secret motives and whatnot) • I am socially illiterate while at the same time not being socially illiterate (I have to observe my surroundings first if I want to fit in and blend in but I am generally good at navigating social situations once I have a minute to adjust and examine the environment.) • When it comes to the few things I find personal (like my music tastes) I am very against sharing them, I don't want to be judged for it, but once I feel comfortable enough with the people I am more open to sharing things I consider more sensitive information about myself. • My sense of humor can be all sorts of things but I tend to follow what other people are going with or describe it as "twelve year old boy" humor. I am historically very quotable. There are two separate discord friend groups I am in where things I have said make up a decent 75-90% of the whores chat. • I can tend to see people more as amusement and temporary ways to ease my boredom than friends, when I was (again,) in school I would befriend a person for classes I wouldn't be able to use my phone in because otherwise I'd be really bored. Took until senior year and a D&D party to have actual friends I liked and actually did spend time with outside of school. • When I was a kid I lied a lot but I was pretty shit at it so I stopped and I'm still a bad liar in the present day. I just tell the truth most of the time because I don't see a point in lying.

• Ignoring my body functions until I literally can't (As a kid I would hold in my pee and ignore it because I had other things I wanted to do more until I was crouching on the floor holding it in. Also have ignored my hunger and thirst for similar reasons or because it would "take too long") • Enjoy specific comfort foods/shows (However I might plan to have/watch them and will just not do them. No clue why, I just never get to it) • Bad with routines (I try to set up routines and plans and they just fall apart, the only way to get myself to do anything is if it's NOT planned and I don't on a whim.) • I use past information I've learned and collect it all to use for my arguments when I'm debating with someone to make a logical explanation for why I'm right (using analogies or similar situations to the point I'm trying to support or random pieces of information that, again, support my point.) • I don't really get sentimental about things usually but randomly if big changes occur I get super upset and pissy about it (Ripping up the floors in my childhood home might make me upset or annoyed. I get over it pretty quickly, though.) • I am not very organized. During schooling I shoved all of my school items I received into my backpack and just called it a day, at best I usually put the things connected to each other (such as AP Gov packets) together but that was about the extent of it. • Hated when I was forced to organize things and organize my files because I figured I would literally never use it and I didn't • Sometimes will randomly get a spark of inspiration like once a year and will organize my dresser and actually not shove everything in there for once • I am really terrible organizing things on my own, even these bullet points. Only reason I'm doing it like this is someone said, "Hey, put this into ChatGPT to make it easier to read" and I went, "Good Idea" so I did and it got put into bullet points and it was way easier to read.

ETA: I feel like I need to put this here because of a recent post regarding what I'm about to clarify here. This nor any post I make about customers is intended to demonize them. Blanket statements can be a dangerous thing, and I'm not looking to add to that. A lot of the customers and regulars I have interacted with are great and fun as heck to talk to.
If we have an item, ingredient, etc, out of stock, please don't get mad at us. We don't control the stock we have, nor are we able to just tell people know if say, they want a chocolate croissant or a bacon gouda. I understand people have bad days and/or can be irritable for whatever reason, but it doesn't excuse any unnecessary backlash.
We don't control the stock of things. Heck, there's a lot that we don't have control of. A lot of the time, people will just say, "Okay, I don't want anything then." And just go about their day. That's alright. That's pretty reasonable. But getting into a mini tantrum and then unloading your anger at me or my fellow partners, whether that be baristas, ssv, asm, or sm, isn't on. It'll never be on. Unless any of us happen to be rude right off the bat.
