Free corbin fisher previews

This is infuriating. The "Free Preview" generates images, which do exist on the server, but are not added to your assets.
I spend a couple hours generating images, some that I wanted to come back to, but the tab was eating up over 3 GB of memory. When I tried to go back to it, all those previews were gone.
There isn't even an option to save them after they are generated!
What a waste.
The only way I see to save these is to save them from the Developer Tools:
F12 -> Application tab -> On left, scroll down to Frames -> Expand "top" -> Expand "frame.jpg" -> Click each image -> Drag image from preview to a folder -> Rename from "download.jpg" to something else

I spent 7 days in key west with one carry-on only bag (Matador SEG28). It was my first time trying one bag-ish travel.
The only things I washed on the road were my swim shorts to get the chlorine or sand out and my handkerchief. I would throw them on the luggage rack in front of the air conditioner overnight after washing them in the shower with the hotel’s shampoo. It worked really well.
In the future, I’d definitely forego the snorkel, the 2 extra shirts, and the hard case for my over ear headphones. None of them were really necessary.
As for the bag, I did really like it. The materials are amazing, it looks nice, it was comfortable to carry, but I felt like it was almost too big.
The more I get into minimizing my things for travel, the less I want to lug around so much. It makes it too easy and convincing to pack too much because it just keeps having extra capacity.
It’s too big for a personal item as well. It could be squeezed, but you’d have zero leg room. I love the bag and I will keep it for when I intend to bring a little more (cold climate, specific gear needs, etc), on car trips, or when I’m okay using the overhead bin. I got it on a flash sale for $175 last year and I don’t regret it one bit.

I’m new (again) to biking. I do trail rides with the wife and kids and I doubt it will ever go any farther than that. Just bought this lightly used Gary Fisher Tassajara GS last night. I know it’s a relic, but it will do what I need it to do I think.
The problem is the gears. It doesn’t find them very well and I think it needs a good tune up. Is there a good place to learn how? We have a bike shop but I’d really like to learn for myself. If I’m a moron you can feel free to tell me so. 😊

When first reading the preview chapter for The Mercy of Gods, much of the scientific commentary sailed right over my head. I last took a biology course in high school; my familiarity with space lies only in an introductory undergraduate course in astronomy. I decided to do cursory Google research on the science raised in the chapter, especially since it may have some bearing on the book's plot. I'm approaching it within the points below on the most basic level as I have no expertise; if anyone has any thoughts or corrections, please feel free to share!

• Llaren ties understanding life's origins to space, which is pretty basic. His current study that he mentions, heliospheres, play a part in making habitable planets for life (e.g. providing planetary shielding from cosmic radiation). He mentions an anomalous zone - no idea whether that means he's just found anomalous cosmic rays for study or something else that may be plot-related; i.e. linked to that incoming alien invasion. It is entirely possible that this may have no bearing on the plot at all, lol. His main purpose seems to be showing that the reception to Tonner is not entirely positive.
• Next is the subject of Tonner's research. Proteome refers to the set of proteins that can be produced by a cell or organism. So, unsurprisingly, something else that is fundamental to understanding how life works. Proteome research is also complementary to the research of genomes, as suggested by Tonner's spiel. Regarding implications, what first comes to mind for me is the study of medicine and diseases, and the development of health technologies. IRL, there's seemingly a lot of hope that deeper research into proteomes can unveil new understandings and approaches to cancer in particular (but other diseases like Alzheimer's have also been raised). As to what proteome reconciliation specifically might mean? Tonner's brief explanation seems to outline the basic premise of it. But I'm stumped in relating that to how they're specifically experimenting with proteomes or what they're ultimately trying to achieve (likely related to revolutionizing health in some way?). This is where I'd love for a smarter and more informed person than myself to jump in if possible, lmao.
• The construction of the Common suggests that biotechnology may have been particularly significant to the development of human civilization and society on Anijin; and possibly part of why Tonner's project caught so much interest. Although I can't determine how technologically advanced their society might be based on this bit. Like, was biotech something that they potentially focused on to the detriment of developing other technologies or sciences?

That about covers it!! The chapter wasn't especially long, so I don't have a lot to say in this area, and the amount of speculation that can be had is limited. Biology seems to be a much bigger focus than in The Expanse. Given the book's blurb, I imagine that Tonner's proteome research will bepart of defeating the enemy of the Carryx by uncovering how their alleged immortality works.Speaking of that, with endgame spoilers for the Expanse:>! I wonder how the conflict between the Carryx and their "Enemy" will compare to the conflict between the Gatebuilders and the Goths.!<
Really, I just found the sample chapter fascinating (in terms of the plot, world-building, and characters) and wanted to see what other people are speculating. Not just about the specific points I raised, but if anything else caught your interest or if you have other theories, potentially unrelated to the series' science. In any case, I'm super excited for the debut of a new series by the authors of another sci-fi series I adored. August can't come soon enough!

I bought the book Advanced Biology on Amazon today. I wanted to convert it as a pdf with the help of Calibre. With other books I was able to do this successfully by clicking “Download & transfer via USB” on Amazon and then dragging the file into Calibre (I have the DeDRM extension) but with this book I got the message “You do not have any compatible devices registered for this content. Buy a Kindle or get the free Kindle reading app.". I have a Kindle but it does not have a color display and the book has many illustrations so I thought that this Kindle might not be supported for downloading. So I downloaded the Kindle 1.17 version and then dragged the “azw4” file into Calibre. There it recognized the preview image correctly but the text was not readable after the conversion (see picture). I suspect that since the preview image of the book was recognized correctly and the book consists practically only of images, I have to make changes to the converter settings. But I don't know my way around there. Can any of you help me?

I'm really excited for the future of this game. It would be great to be able to edit the prices of the vending machines, maybe have an option to build a shop or cafeteria for patients, staff and visitors.
I'd like to see more numbers and statistics in the game, like a preview of how much a room is earning. Maybe this is already a feature that I haven't discovered yet.
It would be cool to let the cursor choose tabs on the left hand side easier, sometimes the cursor gets lost and I have to use the d-map to move around. It's annoying to have to keep tapping to sift through the options and a hold option would be great, as well as skipping back to the top after reaching the end of the bottom when it comes to the left hand toolbar.
I'm also struggling with the Kouber Bali always feeling like there is too much corridor congestion. I replaced all my Kouber Bali with different races and my corridor congestion had x32 great corridor congestions at 99% in the green. It was 3x bad congestion with the kouber bali present. I know they don't like congestion but my corridors are free of obstacles with no narrow corridors. Could this be a bug?
