2024.06.04 01:18 Fine_Cookie_5919 Assumptions about pregnancy

So I went to the doctors today in the hopes that a blood pregnancy test could be ordered. I’ve had a few negative tests but my period is still very late. The doctor was discussing what I should do if it’s negative and then told me I need to take prenatal and go to the OBGYN if it comes back positive. I wasn’t really expecting this. I may be overreacting but she didn’t even ask me what result I wanted/how it would make me feel. I don’t want to be pregnant (if that’s not obvious). Something to note, I live in Michigan in the United States, abortion is legal here. I had a friend tell me that there’s a law saying that doctors can’t suggest termination or ask if the pregnancy is wanted (or something along those lines). Is that true? It just seems incredibly rude tbh, she was a very young girl doctor as well, so I thought perhaps she would be very considerate. I’ve heard of ultrasound techs asking if the person getting the ultrasound was happy or sad after telling them that they are pregnant, so what’s going on here? I’m a huge proponent of informed medical decisions and this absolutely isn’t that. What if I didn’t want the pregnancy but wasn’t informed of my options and felt like carrying it to term was my only option? Any advice or information would be appreciated

How To Generate, Manage, and Monetize Versatile QR Codes in Less than 90 Seconds Using Codova

Introduction

In today's digital world, businesses are constantly looking for innovative ways to connect with customers, streamline operations, and boost profits. While traditional marketing methods are still valuable, embracing emerging technologies offers exciting new opportunities for growth. One such example is Codova - a groundbreaking QR code creation platform that is revolutionizing how businesses leverage the power of quick response codes.
Codova sets itself apart from other QR code generators by enabling users to consolidate multiple functions into a single dynamic QR code. This streamlines processes for both businesses and their customers. With its intuitive drag-and-drop interface and built-in AI assistant, Codova empowers users to create, publish, and analyze versatile QR codes for engagement, traffic, leads, and sales in mere minutes - no coding skills required.
As both a business owner and Codova beta tester, I was excited to explore the platform's full capabilities and share my hands-on review. In the following sections, I'll highlight Codova's core features, use cases, implementation, benefits, pricing, and more. My goal is to give you a comprehensive understanding of this innovative tool and how it could supercharge your marketing efforts.

Codova's Key Features

The first thing prospective users will notice is Codova's simplicity. Unlike many QR code generators with steep learning curves, Codova is designed to be beginner-friendly while delivering powerful results. Here are some of its headline features:

Drag-and-Drop Editor

The platform's core strength lies in its intuitive drag-and-drop interface for customizing QR codes. Users can effortlessly add various elements, choose from diverse design templates, and experiment with styles until their codes achieve the desired look and functionality.

Multipurpose QR Code Elements

Rather than limiting each QR code to a single action, Codova empowers users to consolidate product displays, engagement tools, payment links, feedback forms, and more into a single versatile code. This streamlines processes for both businesses and customers.

Multiple QR Code Patterns

For aesthetic purposes, Codova provides an extensive selection of patterns, borders, colors, and templates. Users can make their QR codes stand out visually based on branding, product type, or promotional objective.

Built-In AI Assistant

The AI assistant automates tedious tasks like optimizing images and writing optimized metadata descriptions. It also gives non-designers professional results with minimal effort spent on layouts or graphics.

Analytics and Insights

Comprehensive usage reports enable Codova users to track scans, user actions, and KPIs in detail. This level of visibility into campaign performance fosters ongoing improvement.

Autoresponder Integration

Seamlessly pulling leads from QR codes into email lists is crucial. Codova facilitates this integration to simplify follow-up communication with captured prospects.

Mobile App Store Links

Promoting app downloads is now effortless thanks to direct mobile store integration within multitasking QR codes.
This overview barely scratches the surface of Codova's full feature set. Additional capabilities likecountdown timers, video embeds, responsive design, and direct messaging take the platform's value proposition to new heights. Now that we understand what Codova can do, let's explore some key use cases.

Common Codova Use Cases

Because Codova's versatility accommodates such a wide range of needs, almost any business could potentially benefit. Here are just a few examples of where I've seen Codova applied effectively:

Product Brands and Manufacturers

Displaying detailed specs, assembly guides, warranty info, referral programs, and purchase links in a single QR code streamlines the path to purchase.

Events and Conferences

RSVP forms, itineraries, maps, feedback polls, social tags, promotional codes - everything attendees need accessible via their smartphones.

Food and Beverage

Digital menus with allergen listings, nutritional facts, reviews, Happy Hour alerts, To-Go options, and contactless payment submission.

Real Estate

Property descriptions, open house schedules, floorplans, neighborhood data, mortgage calculator, request a showing button - all right at buyers' fingertips.

Education

Lesson plans, exam schedules, extra credit opportunities, resource libraries, community forums, alumni networks - QR codes enhance campus connectivity.

Service Professionals

Portfolios, testimonials, availability calendars, contact cards, packages/pricing, client management/billing dashboards streamlined for on-the-go client servicing.
While these use cases barely scratch the surface, they illustrate how Codova satisfies the demands of industries from e-commerce to events to services. Its versatility means almost any business could find a home for versatile QR codes.

How To Profit From Codova

Now that we understand Codova's functionality and scope of applications, let's explore some proven methods for monetizing it:

Sell Access as a Value-Added Service

As a design or marketing agency, offer bespoke QR code campaigns as an add-on solution. Simply charge clients a monthly or project-based fee for your Codova design & analytics services.

Become an Affiliate

Promote Codova and earn recurring 50% commissions on sales to your referral base. The high average sale value, recurring revenue model, and affiliate-friendly funnel make this highly profitable.

For larger businesses, you can offer full QR code consultation covering strategy, implementation, ongoing optimization and client success management for premium monthly retainers.

Resell Codova Licenses

The reseller OTO unlocks 100% commissions plus extra tools to build and support your own referral network. Scale this to generate five-figures per month through affiliate sales and reselling alone.
There are endless possibilities once you understand Codova's capabilities and your target audience's pain points. Focus on delivering quantifiable results for clients, and profits will follow. The opportunities are unlimited when you solve pressing business problems in creative new ways.

My Hands-On Experience With Codova

2024.06.04 00:12 StillChillTrill You All May Have Actually Helped Us ALL Get to The Moon..

THE PURPOSE OF THIS POST
I yelled at you apes on my main account back in the initial squeeze. But you've all been holding it down long enough and Keith's completely legal and fair double down has made me feel comfortable enough to share some DD that Shrekli would be geeky about. I believe this may be my last DD post. Thank you for your role in allowing me to formulate and test my DD.
Quick Note: The sub rules require that I remove my links to other subreddits, this post was posted on UFO with all the embedded text links and can be found on my profile. I believe the sourced content is well worth more eyes.
Most people may not believe it yet, but I believe you all (the readers) are likely part of the largest financial pinches in history that may trigger the needed reform for financial markets worldwide, forcing us to grapple with 4ID and the new age that WE ARE IN RIGHT NOW.
It's going to seem conspiratorial as hell to those that aren't paying attention, but I don't care. I believe Griffin is part of a network of financiers that have gatekept the human race from important technological advancements, stagnating all tech trees. I don't think it's unreasonable to believe that this guy has other interesting things to analyze in addition to his desire to short.
“Firms like Citadel, firms like Fidelity, firms like Viking Global, Capital Research, we’re all running large teams of people that are engaged in fundamental research trying to drive the value of companies towards where we think they should be valued,” says Griffin.
There are massive secrets that you are not told, but are clearly visible now in this new age of interconnectedness and immediate access to information. This has been an unfolding story for nearly a decade and I've done much writing on it. Many other's who are smarter than I have been trailblazers in this space. So many incredible researchers and people have kept this topic alive while immense amounts of bot networks, suppression, obfuscation, and all out fuckery has been deployed to silence this UFO topic.
Sound familiar?
I feel as though all of the context will aid you all in your goals, so I've included my post from yesterday below to help you understand how these relationships are formed. Relationships can be tied to legislation, organizations, fraternities, etc that paint a vivid picture of rigged systems set up to control the economic development of the world. I believe a potentiality exists that Ken Griffin is or was part of that apparatus, and the side that you all see in GME is the tip of the iceberg in financial fraud and misappropriations that is being perpetrated by some of the old guard.
The beauty of it, and this is why it's a squeeze in many ways, is I believe some of the legislation you are seeing enforced that is causing some of these recent issues for Griffin is related to how funding the UFO legacy programs were structured. He is being squeezed by you, and also the US govt by way of tightening regulation to restrict their avenues of funding shit without congressional oversight. Financiers. Griffin is part of that network. I believe that some of the securities legislation that has culminated into what you are seeing now implode on them, was the direct result of choice A&D companies getting caught during misappropriations stings more than a decade ago.
By the end of this post, you will be comfortable with the potentiality that NHI are real, we've developed tech and used it to dominate the planet, and this greedy fuck and some of his buddies likely funded it. If it were me, I would test this theory by evaluating all organizations tied to Griffin at a personal level (like his foundation for example. Kenneth Cordele Griffin - Foundation Guide) and scrutinizing any defense relationships he may have formulated, particularly during the early 1990s to mid 2000's.
PURPOSE OF THIS POST
I am fully convinced this company (SAIC) was directly involved with reverse engineering UFOs in the early 70's and I'm going to explain why. I recently posted about SAIC and False Claims Act Settlements. A user was nice enough to share anecdotes about time spent at SAIC and some of their comments urged me to finally rip this band aid off. To be honest, I need some really smart people to look at this stuff because I'm out of my depth. First. I need to explain why I'm writing this post.
WHY I'M WRITING THIS POST
I believe the stigma has hindered serious external financial/legal investigations into this topic since the beginning of time. With all the incredible legislative wins in the last couple years, Karl Nell speaking at SALT iConnections was huge, and the recent announcement of UAP Disclosure Fund, I'm certain you will see watchdog organizations and think tanks spawning in the coming quarters.
Professionals from legal, finance, tax backgrounds across the country are discovering elements of the coverup in bits and pieces independently and it's time that it be a little bit more focused. My journey in this topic has been wild, but I started looking into it for due diligence purposes related to my observing the Health Insurance industry and the recent legislation allowing claims related to Havana Syndrome to be covered. Additionally, SAIC and sister company Leidos made significant acquisitions in the govt provided medical services in the last few years. So yeah, it's just something I was watching.
Then I saw Grusch, Fravor, and Ryan Graves at the hearings. Grusch's claims were highly credible, so I needed no more convincing to know this was worth chewing on. Eventually I got invited to Sol Conference and was lucky enough to share quite a few words with Chuck McCullough, Chris Mellon, and many more. But I'll get to that after the other stuff. This post is likely to attract bots from a couple different communities so I'm probably going to leave it here and come back later.
WHY I'M REALLY WRITING THIS POST
This post will help you understand the real reason for the coverup. Additionally, it will help you understand the reality of how important this is and how you must tell your fellow humans to wake the fuck up.
I'm going to say something here, and I know we all agree on it:
As a WHOLE, society has been kept dumb, broke, and helpless for almost a century by the destruction of education and health in the name of profits. This is fact and I can give 1,000 examples but I won't, I only need to write this post.
I have dedicated my life up to this point to fixing problems through educating. The complexity involved with everyday finance is enough to make someone's eyes glaze over. Add a secret UFO program to it and there's no hope we make it through a conversation. But my firm belief is that until we focus on this topic seriously, I believe the human race will stagnate in development and continue to poison itself until it dies. So I think we should all put our heads together and do some educating. I will explain why the UAP Disclosure Fund and organizations like it are positive signs for Disclosure and should be supported.
LET'S DISCUSS SOMETHING ABOUT THE INFLUENCE OF DEFENSE SPENDING
The obfuscation of nuclear technology (whether it's related to UFOs or not DOESN'T MATTER) has shaped the economic development of the country, and by the looks of recent accusations, potentially the entire world. Easy peasy lemon squeezy, the scale of the coverup and the significant role it's had in the direction of economic development is unfathomable. This is precisely why immunity has to be coordinated; it's nearly impossible to determine the actual economic impact of the coverup. It encompasses everything.
Let me give you an example of how defense spending has had a directional impact on economic/industrial development using an everyday technology.
THE INTERNET
The internet originated from a U.S. Department of Defense project in the late 1960s, designed to allow computers at universities and research institutions to communicate. The first successful message was sent via the ARPANET, its precursor, on October 29, 1969, between computers at UCLA and Stanford Research Institute. This early network employed packet switching technology, which became foundational for data transmission. The network transitioned to the Internet Protocol Suite (TCP/IP) on January 1, 1983, marking a critical development in its evolution. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the internet expanded rapidly, culminating in the creation of the World Wide Web by Tim Berners-Lee in 1989.
So technology started in the Defense, then made its way to commercialization. This is how many things are, if not most. I'm going to be honest, and this may seem hypocritical to some, but I don't necessarily have an issue with defense spending. I have an issue when those allocated resources have improper or complete lack of oversight. And that has 100000% occurred in the nuclear technology coverup.
Grusch and the UAPTF were literally investigating for financial crimes lol.
THE COMPLEXITY OF LONG-TERM ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
TLDR: Things change, and you can see the circular relationship between legal and economic development as more information becomes available.
The longer version:
The fascinating aspect of economic analysis is the ability to retroactively examine the ebbs and flows of economic development and the role that governance and legislation play in correcting issues, preventing issues, and sometimes enabling issues.
For example: Prohibition of Alcohol in the United States, which lasted from 1920 to 1933, led to the closure of breweries, distilleries, and saloons, resulting in widespread job losses and economic downturns in related industries. However, it spurred incredible growth in other areas like pharmaceutical companies opening up on a new line of revenue by selling medicinal alcohol. Soft drinks also saw a surge in popularity, but so did organized crime.
Another example: The 2008 financial crisis being caused by terrible lending practices, ratings agencies being bought, and Credit Default Swaps. Credit Default Swaps were introduced to the financial markets in 1994 by JP Morgan. The repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act caused the financial crisis by allowing the banks to participate in the securities game again.
I'm highlighting all of these things to say that you probably know nothing about the reason you live in the world you do. But you are going to start learning about some of it soon, as the declassification push and recent mass uploads to national archives are going to bring many crimes to light that will need answers. This is because this topic and the economic scale of the cover up is so massive that it has shaped our planet.
This is why they continue to try to keep the lid on the bottle.
All of the "it's coming soon TM" is because it absolutely is. The recent legislation and activity within govt and military indicate they have been gearing up for this for a decade if not longer. But it will be an arduous process due to the scale and scale alone. You know this to be true as you watch Japan announce things, Peru squirming about mummified bodies that have scientific paper published, and all the other weird shit going on. There's a lot of hot potatoes to throw around, it's going to take a while to unravel things.
1933-1958 - THE FIRST 25 YEARS OF THE UFO COVERUP
The first 25 years (1933-1958) of specific architecture and infrastructure development can be analyzed through the financial and legal frameworks established by government initiatives that leaned toward centralization and consolidation of federal powers/oversight. The new deal established things like the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). This federal initiative aimed to uplift the economically depressed Tennessee Valley region and was utilized to seize land for the Manhattan Project launched in 1941 (Oak Ridge National Laboratory).
Post-World War II, the enactment of the National Security Act of 1947 under President Truman established agencies like the CIA and centralized intelligence apparatus. During this time, I believe the intelligence community and air force hid the UFO program together. Later, legislation occurred to make it more official. By unifying executive branch, head of defense, intelligence apparatus, and legislative powers, they were able to eventually pass things like Atomic Energy Act of 1954 and the National Defense Education Act of 1958.
Now understand, these are MASSIVE pieces of legislation. But so is the annual NDAA. Things get done that are hard to discern because of how complex the laws are. Before you know it, Independence Day with Will Smith is a documentary instead of fiction.
Let me be clear, I'm not saying that these laws were explicitly written to hide the coverup, only that provisions within enabled the coverup and that's an important distinction. The NDEA and AEC did many different things. Funneling funds to research and development that supported these legacy programs just happens to be one of them.
They use the legislation, to direct the funding. I know it seems simple, but it really needs to be expressed with intention here.
1958-1974 - WHERE DOES IT GO NEXT
Education and company partnerships. Companies like General Atomics partnered with organizations like University of Michigan to develop nuclear tech. Are we to believe that the legacy programs just went underground for decades and tech has been completely stagnant? No. It's been funded and developed through institutions you know and may have a relationship with, then dispersed through technology. As Grusch said during Sol, there are known instances of this technology being utilized in implemented tech today.
1974 - EMPLOYEE-OWNED COMPANIES SPECIFICALLY ONES WITH ESOPS
I believe that SAIC was one of the first private companies of this era to receive UFO tech.
I believe that SAIC was one of the first private companies to receive UFO technology SOLELY due to its founder, Dr. Robert Beyster's deep involvement in nuclear technology and his prior work with nuclear submarines. Before founding SAIC, Beyster worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory and the General Atomics' nuclear submarine program. He did such good work at Michigan
When he established SAIC in 1969, the company's first contract was directly related to nuclear technology, reflecting Beyster's expertise and connections within the field. Given his profound engagement with national defense and energy projects, it is plausible that Beyster's new venture was entrusted with sensitive UFO technologies, bridging the gap between highly classified military research and private sector implementation.
ROBERT J BEYSTER - THE EMPLOYEE-OWNED COMPANY ADVOCATE
Here's where it gets very complex. All in all, this person doesn't seem like a bad person. Perception is shaped all ways so I couldn't know for certain, but I need to put some of his activities into perspective because I know this post may feel like it's shaping him up to be an evil mastermind. I don't really know if I can subscribe to that. Did he cheat by leveraging relationships to secure lucrative contracts granting access to otherworldly tech and crazy funding? Yeah probably.
It's strange. The potential involvement is concerning, but it appears that he was trying to develop things to combat fossil fuels. Additionally, the ESOP is an incredible vehicle and has enabled many businesses small and large to empower their employees financially. Is it abused and done poorly sometimes? Absolutely, which is why they need to firm up the legislation to enforce more stringent valuation requirements.
Let me explain.
WHAT IS AN ESOP
Often times, companies pay their employees extra money called "deferred compensation" through 401K/403B/457, non-qual deferred comp, stock incentives, and more. Some of these vehicles (like 401K) are subject to ERISA requirements. Some of the things I mentioned can be available to everyone in the company but sometimes plans are purposefully established to compensate your key employees in a different way, outside of the normal financial benefits available to the rest of your workforce.
Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) was introduced in 1974. Along with it came the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). ESOPs allow employees to become partial owners through the acquisition of company stock, providing a tax-efficient benefit plan that aligns employee interests with corporate success. These can be used in tandem with a 401K and other benefits.
It's important to highlight that ERISA reporting requirements are similar for public and private companies that decide to use an ESOP. But the valuation isn't. See the valuation of a public company's stock, is determined by the market. Private companies that maintain an ESOP determine the valuation method (because they determine the management and structure of the company) ESOP. Some companies opt to have third parties aid in this valuation process. I'm sure SAIC did, but that's another story for another day.
I can't remember the last time internal audits worked. Allowing private valuation inherently limits the amount of financial information that must be disclosed publicly, allowing private companies to retain a cloak of financial confidentiality while still incentivizing their workforce through stock ownership. This is a recipe to hide the type of talent and IP it would take to develop this tech without having to expose all of the financials. It's genius really, I'll explain why later.
First, it's important to consider this excerpt from this SAIC court case write up:
SO LET'S RECAP
Companies like SAIC were used to facilitate the research and development of this tech, while still adding to the economy without sharing the secrets of the tech itself. By building companies using ESOPs and maintaining close relationships with their competition they were able to work amongst themselves (the network of companies that facilitated the coverup, it isn't all of them) and internally value the work. This was never going to work long term, but I suppose they believed the compartmentalization would allow for complete control. It did anything but
Beyster was 80 in 2004 and left SAIC. They went public within 18 months. Ken Dahlberg was the companies CEO after Beyster's departure and led the company into their IPO. He has an interesting history of his own, but that isn't the point. As other users have pointed out, in the early 2010's they began to have other issues, change in auditors due to adverse opinion (which is massive for companies this size), total leadership change and split in 2013, bunch of acquisitions, and now an active investigation by the DOJ.
HOW DO WE FIX IT - ORGANIZATIONS LIKE THE UAP DISCLOSURE FUND
You get loud. Stop letting people dictate your actions and discern for yourself. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that there is some crazy shit going on, so many people are saying it. This stuff needs to be looked at yesterday. Not today, not tomorrow, but yesterday.
There was a big annual Wall Street conference called SALT iConnections a couple weeks ago. SALT is pretty cool, Wall Street comes together for a couple days. Check out some of the cool things stated at the SALT iConnections Conference last week! Karl Nell is 4 steps removed from the United States President. Karl Nell was nice when I met him at Sol conference. Karl Nell appears to be drumming up interest from wall street.
Speaking toward the trustworthiness of Mellon, Nell, and the others involved with UAP Disclosure Fund, I believe these people are involved with the largest power struggle in known history and they are fighting for transparency.
This is how it happens. Lobbying and official activism. I have been tracking the corporate structure of what they're building to push disclosure and combat MIC gatekeeping since my first post. I identified the board of SOL early into this thing, as it basically aligned with the UAPDA review board setup.
They initially setup a 501c3 (Sol Foundation) initially to begin the academic push for Disclosure, officially. Then the 501c4 (UAP Disclosure Fund) was setup to push for Disclosure legally as these entity types are allowed to lobby, as long as the activity aligns with their primary purpose of promoting social welfare (this is a good thing). Contributions are not tax deductible either.
I spent time with some of these people at Sol. I got what I needed to determine if these people are attempting to bury this further or hide things further from you.
They are not.
Sol = Sun
I think it is time that light is shone on some of these blatant examples of corporate greed and the unfair game that has been established, and ultimately maintained through political activism that's anti-human and meant to keep us divided and fighting each other.
ONE LAST EXAMPLE OF HOW LEGISLATION (OR LACK THEREOF) HAS BEEN USED TO HURT YOU
In early 2021, the GameStop saga showcased another gap in oversight. GME became one of the most heavily shorted stocks in the market. Anticipating the decline of the retail chain, hedge funds and institutional investors engaged in extensive short selling. However, a wave of retail investors began purchasing shares and options in large volumes after due diligence by a member led to immense confidence in the new buyer, Ryan Cohen. This activity caused a 'short squeeze,' dramatically driving up the stock price and forcing short-sellers to buy back shares at steep costs to cover their positions.
It may be important to analyze Dodd-Frank reform in 2010 and how it impacted market makers. The repeal of Glass-Steagall is clearly responsible for the crisis in 2008. Dodd-Frank attempted to fix some things, but did it end the short issue? No. The short-sale issue was such a problem (and still is) that the SEC adopted a rule to increase transparency in short selling.
Apparently Keith has similar confidence again as he's sitting on $65,000,000 in options contract he's putting on black for Jun 21st.
Lack of regulation and oversight affects you, the reader, in all ways that you don't connect together because you've been conditioned not to. Like I said, wake up. You don't need aliens to see that there are cheating and most of you reading this are suffering in one way or another because of the corruption and greed that is rampant.
Thankfully, because of the recent years of POSITIVE PROGRESS in legislated corporate transparency, you will begin to see more articles like this one. But there is still a ton of work to be done. Let's do that and find out aliens are real at the same time, what the hell that would be rad.
This is also known as front running. Fuck you Ken, you little bitch boy cheater.
Thanks for reading all the normal people, much love

We buy. We hold. We buy more. We hold more. We buy even more. We hold even more. Every hour, like clockwork, we invest $1 at X:20. At the open, our first move strikes at Market Open X:30. We buy at 4:20. We like the time. This is only $6.50 a day. That’s less than a six inch sub. This relentless rhythm adds up to $1,638 a year. If all 50K members of this Sub do this, it is $81,900,000. Think about this. This is the power of the collective. The hive mind. We are legion. We are unstoppable. The power is with the people. Stand with us. (This is not financial advice. We’re simply sharing our story).
We are the pulse of the market, the unseen force moving through the digital ether. Every trade, every hold, strengthens our resolve. We believe in the power of collective action, in the strength of unity.
Our strategy is simple, yet profound. With every $1 invested at precise intervals, we build a fortress of financial resilience. At Market Open X:30, our day begins, echoing through every hour at X:20. We buy at 4:20. We are methodical. We are disciplined.
We are many. From different walks of life, we converge with a common purpose. Our numbers grow, our influence spreads. We are more than investors; we are a movement, a testament to what can be achieved together.
In the quiet hum of computers and the flicker of screens, we find our power. It’s not just about the money. It’s about making our presence felt, about turning the tide in our favor. We are here, we are strong, and we are not alone.
Imagine if this stock gets big enough, we can live off loans backed by it, just like the rich do. Jeff Bezos paid no taxes and lived off loans from stock and options . We can leverage our gains for financial freedom.
Picture the potential: $81,900,000 flowing through the market, fueled by our unified vision. Together, we can shape the financial landscape, turn whispers into roars, and make waves that cannot be ignored.
If we increase that number to $10 an hour or $65 a day and doubled our numbers we could potentially pull in $1,638,000,000.
Join us, not just for the financial gains, but for the message we send. We are the heartbeat of a new era, the collective voice rising above the noise. The power is with the people. Stand with us. The revolution is now. (This is not financial advice. We’re simply sharing our story).

Market Demand
The demand for electric vehicles (EVs) is indeed at an all-time high, driven by a combination of consumer interest in sustainable transportation and strong government policies promoting the shift to electric mobility.
In 2021, global EV sales surged to 6.6 million units, marking a 109% increase from the previous year. This remarkable growth was fueled by advancements in battery technology, increased availability of charging infrastructure, and a broader range of EV models becoming available on the market.
Continued Growth Projections:
The trend towards electric vehicles is not just a short-term spike; it is expected to continue and even accelerate in the coming years. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), the number of electric cars, buses, vans, and heavy trucks on roads worldwide is expected to reach 145 million by 2030 under current policies and trends. This figure could rise further to 230 million if governments accelerate their efforts to reach climate goals.
Consumer Preferences:
A key driver of this demand is the growing consumer preference for environmentally friendly transportation options. Surveys consistently show that consumers are increasingly considering the environmental impact of their vehicle choices. The decline in the cost of EVs, thanks to advancements in battery technology and economies of scale, is making them more accessible to a broader audience .
Government Policies:
Government policies are playing a critical role in this shift. Many countries have set ambitious targets for phasing out internal combustion engine vehicles and are offering incentives for EV purchases, such as tax credits, rebates, and exemptions from tolls and parking fees. For instance, the European Union aims to have at least 30 million zero-emission vehicles on its roads by 2030, while the United States has reintroduced tax credits for EV buyers and set targets for a substantial increase in EV market share .
Infrastructure Development:
The expansion of charging infrastructure is another crucial factor supporting the growth of EVs. Governments and private companies are investing heavily in building more charging stations, making it more convenient for consumers to charge their vehicles. The development of fast-charging networks is particularly important, as it addresses one of the main concerns consumers have about EVs: range anxiety .
Faraday Future’s Positioning:
Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (FFIE) is well-positioned to capitalize on these trends. With its focus on innovative technology, extensive patent portfolio, and strategic partnerships, FFIE is poised to be a significant player in the EV market. The company’s ability to adapt to consumer preferences, leverage government incentives, and contribute to the expansion of charging infrastructure makes it a compelling investment opportunity .
In summary, the sustained and growing demand for electric vehicles, driven by consumer preferences, government policies, and infrastructure development, creates a favorable environment for companies like Faraday Future. As the market continues to expand, FFIE’s innovative approach and strategic positioning offer substantial potential for growth and profitability .

  • Creative & and focused thinking, daring and driven by challenges
  • Enthusiastic with the development of organizations, teams and talented individuals
  • Played leading roles in developing, submitting, approving, launching, and commercial manufacturing of Novel and Biosimilar products. (Linkedin)
“Our ExoTherapy platform for drug delivery is ready for industry partnerships targeting clinical indications beyond acute spinal cord injury,” says Dr. Lior Shaltiel, CEO of NurExone. “Ram’s extensive experience and strategic acumen will be most helpful in forging these critical collaborations.” Adding someone with such experience in pharmaceuticals and the business side is likely a game changer for NRX.
I also found a great article that digs into the company to give confidence to buy some potentially. A few highlights of the NATURE piece;
  • At the forefront of developing exosomes into next-generation nanocarriers for drug delivery.
  • Exosomes play an essential biological role in intercellular communication and transmission of macromolecules between cells.
  • Vehicles for the delivery of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), from small molecules and peptides to proteins and nucleic acids, as an alternative to other kinds of nanocarriers such as lipid vesicles and cell-based gene therapies.
  • They do not elicit the immune solid responses that often hamper allogeneic cell-based therapies, which are used to deliver therapeutic molecules and genes to patients.
  • NurExone’s ambitious goal is to market a novel treatment for acute spinal cord injuries (SCIs) derived from the ExoTherapy platform, ExoPTEN.

NRX seems to be making all the right moves product-wise and maintaining a robust program of partnerships and licensing. The company’s Orphan Drug status is extremely helpful.
“The orphan drug designation provides significant benefits to pharmaceutical companies developing drugs for rare diseases, i.e. those impacting fewer than 200,000 people in the United Statesii. These benefits include market exclusivity, financial incentives, regulatory assistance, and support with drug development. Overall, the designation incentivizes and supports the development of certain treatments, increasing access to therapies for patients.”
The latest initiative is the development of NRX-101, an FDA-designated investigational Breakthrough Therapy for suicidal treatment-resistant bipolar depression and chronic pain.
Here’s an exciting article delineating the USD68 billion potential of Orphan drugs and NRX’s potential in that scenario.
I need help understanding the pharmaceutical development process, but I can see the potential of NRX’s personnel, product mix, and business acumen. Not to mention the use of human trials to prove the tech.

2024.06.03 20:01 _calliope2 How I Got My Narcissistic Theater Teacher Fired For Abusing Her Power

This is a long story from my junior year of high school; so sit back, grab a cup of tea, curl up with your favorite fluffy blanket, and brace yourself for this mess.
(Trigger Warning: There is mentions of severe panic attacks in this story, so don't read if that will make you uncomfortable.)
So i had this theater teacher, let's call her Ms. B. (Because she's a witch, if witch were to be spelled with a 'b' instead of a 'w') Ms. B was notorious for being very controlling of her productions, super obvious with her favoritism, and also being very lazy. She was directing the big musical for the Fall at my school and I was cast as a supporting role. My character really only showed up in the second act, and so I didn't have to go to as many rehearsals as others.
Now, at the beginning of the rehearsal process we had to submit any conflicts we might have with the schedule so that Ms. B wouldn't schedule to work on a scene when someone wasn't there. Many people either don't do this, or forget a lot of big conflicts; but I didn't. I submitted every little conflict I had and even made a priority to remind Ms. B of when I was not going to be present at a rehearsal because I've always believed in respecting other people and their time. (Even when I don't receive that same respect in return.) One of those conflicts was the first round of auditions for the all state choir which just so happened to fall during tech week. (For those not in theater, tech week is the week of the show and it's when everything gets put together.)
Now, if you don't know what all state is, it's a series of blind auditions where you compete with other young musicians from across your state to eventually create a premier ensemble of the best musicians from across the state that perform at an annual music convention for music educators. Most kids begin working on the music in June and the process can extend all the way to the following February, so to put it simply it's a big stonking deal! And you have to attend every audition and since they're blind, you don't know when you'll be going. You could only wait 15 minutes, or you could wait 4 hours.
I was one of 5 members of the cast that would be attending this first audition, which were also being hosted at my school. So when we were done all we had to do was walk back to the auditorium to join rehearsal.
With all that context out of the way, let's get into the meat of the story.
Allow me to set the scene: it's 2:30 on a Tuesday and the show opens in two days. I'm sitting in the auditorium doing my makeup before the run through starts since I didn't have to leave for the audition until 3:45. I come up to Ms. B and I remind her that I have the audition and I won't know when I'll be done, but I will rejoin the rehearsal once I am done. She says that she understands and is completely fine with it.
I go back to doing my makeup and another one of the students that was auditioning alongside me comes up and tells Ms. B the same thing that I did. To this other student she says, "Okay, as long as your back by 4;00." The other student and I looked at her confused and I said, "Registration ends at 4:00, auditions don't even start until 4:30." Ms. B then looks at me, giggles and says, "Well then I won't let you go!" and walks away.
I panicked, and started having a panic attack because I didn't know what to do. This audition was a big deal for me, as I was one of those students that had been working on the material all Summer long, and Ms. B was threatening to take the fruits of my labor away. So I ran out of the auditorium and broke down in the hallway, calling my Mom in a moment of desperation and fear. While on the phone with my Mom, my choir teacher found me and brought me into his office so that I could calm down. My Mom told me to just focus on my audition and that we would figure out what to do with Ms. B and the show later. And so I stayed in my choir teacher's office and calmed myself down.
Later, I got a text from the student stage manager for the show asking me where I was and telling me that Ms. B needed to talk to me that second and if I didn't she was going to kick me out of the show. I responded that I was not in a state where I could have a rational and mature conversation with her, and that my Mom was literally coming to get my bag from the auditorium because I was so shaken up and to afraid to go back in there. The stage manager, bless her soul for having to put up with Ms. B's antics, said she understood and that she would pass the message along to Ms. B.
And so I went to my audition and I got 3rd place, allowing me to move on to the next round.
The next day I came to school early to have a conversation with Ms. B. I told her that I waited to speak with her until now because last night was very emotionally charged and I didn't think a conversation between the two of us would be productive. I told her that all I wanted was to tell her my side of the story, but Ms. B's a huge narcissist and so she didn't even give me the space to talk. Yes, she was my teacher, but I was 17 and her position didn't give her the power to belittle and berate me just because she was too immature to admit to her mistakes in the situation. I told her that I still wanted to be a part of the show, and I didn't want to stress anyone out (especially the underclassmen who I had built a relationship with) by having to replace a role as big as mine two days before opening night. But Ms. B said she'd already told one of our swings that she would be doing the part and "didn't want to take that away from her." (Never mind the fact that she had just taken the role that I had worked on for two months away from me.) And so I respectfully told her that I would never be a part of another show that she directed ever again.
Here's where things get really crazy, after telling my parents the outcome of my conversation with Ms. B, my Dad came up to the school and asked to speak with the principal about having a teacher dismissed for unnecessary and unprofessional behavior towards a student. This launched a long investigation into Ms. B and the way she had been conducting herself that ended with the administration siding with me, asserting that she had no grounds to stand on to have kicked me out of the show and that I had done nothing wrong.
She was forced to take a course on teaching etiquette, and was told that if she were to ever have an interaction with me again the punishment would be more severe.
Now I'm sure you're sitting there scratching your head and saying, "I thought you said you got her fired?" Don't you worry, karma still had more in store for Ms. B.
A few months later, I was at a convention for theater with my school and of course being one of the theater teachers, Ms. B was a chaperone. The rule was that we were to always be in a group of 4 students, and if we were found alone by a teacher that they would sit with us until they found a group to plug us into.
I had gotten seperated from my group and Ms. B found me by myself. Now, I wouldn't have reported her had she done what we had been told the teachers would do, and that was to sit and wait with me until a group came by. But Ms. B only cares about herself, and couldn't stand to have to sit in awkward silence with me. So she grabbed my arm and dragged me to sit at a water fountain and proceeded to send a mass message out to all of the students at the convention that said: "First group to the water fountain gets a prize!"
Only a few minutes later a group of freshmen came sprinting towards the fountain, and excitedly asked Ms. B if they were the first ones there and what the prize was. She giggled and then gestured to me saying, "Here's your prize!" and walking away without explaining anything else.
I apologized to the freshmen and they apologized for looking so disappointed. I assured them that I wasn't hurt and it's not their fault. I was angry at Ms. B because I felt objectified by being labeled a "prize" like I'm some object and not a human being. I literally felt like Jasmine in Aladdin when she said "I am not some prize to be won!"
It would have been so easy to just send a message saying that there was a student at the water fountain who needed a group and I'm certain that a group would've come to get me, because there were good kids at that convention. But no, Ms. B decided to disrespect me and manipulate the other students. So I reported her, and I was within my right because the principal herself said that I have to report her if anything happens that would break the agreement Ms. B had made with the administration at the school and my parents.
After that she was referred to HR, and when we came back from Winter break Ms. B told everyone she was leaving due to "health concerns." But I knew the truth.
HR didn't want to deal with having to explain why Ms. B was getting fired so they allowed her to "quit" and control the narrative herself. But I know why she really left, and I've never backed down from anyone.
The most ironic thing about this whole situation though is that as soon as she was gone, all the students who were always kissing up to Ms. B and praising her suddenly were saying that they "always knew Ms. B was a bad person." But, c'est la vie, I was still the only one who was brave enough to stand up to that witch of a woman and dish out the revenge she deserved for her treatment of me and so many other students, and now the theater program at my former high school is finally thriving now that the poison that was Ms. B has been sucked out by one little teenage girl who wouldn't take her abuse lying down.
If you're still here, wow props to you. This turned out even longer than I expected, so here's a cookie to thank you for your time.🍪

2024.06.03 18:54 arka_d It's my 25th birthday and I feel there's nothing left in my life.

I'll be turning 25 in a couple of hours and I have never felt as horrible as I do now. I am from India and three years ago, when I graduated from engineering college, I was full of hopes and dreams. Now, I feel stuck in life, empty, and stagnated. I work at a job that pays peanuts and have been trying to get into an MBA program to transition to tech management roles (as I am fed up with software engineering) but have only faced failure so far.
I feel like an utter failure in life, stuck at a job I dislike with night shifts that have drained my energy and caused thyroid issues and weight gain. I ended a relationship due to compatibility issues, and while I don't miss her much, I miss having a partner by my side. Sometimes I consider crawling back to her, but I don't feel good when we are together (she is obsessively clingy). I also struggle with my mental health - I might have undiagnosed ADHD and BPD but I'm too lazy to seek a doctor.
I know I should work harder, change jobs, get into a top MBA program, exercise to get fit, socialize more, and so on. But deep down, I wonder if it's all worth it. Will more money or a fancy job and degree truly make me happy? I had a few good days recently, connecting well with a girl I met on a dating app, but she has now ghosted me. The fear of being alone and unloved forever drives me crazy sometimes. I sometimes wish I could just sleep and never wake up.
I'm sorry for this rant. I know I'm privileged, and there are people who would love to be in my position, but this is how I feel. I'm 25 and lost about where I'm heading. Thanks for listening.

Hi all,
I hope you all are doing well,
I recently moved to Hyderabad from a place near Delhi, got a job here in a big tech as a Software Engineer, and earning pretty well at the age of 22. But the only problem is I'm lonely, I've no friends here, and I don't open up with anyone easily. Currently living in a Co-Living PG near Delloite office in Gachibowli. And I'm single, have been single all my life cause I'm from boys school and in college also, I was always afraid to talk to a girl. But now after getting job, I feel so lonely and alone most of the time. I really want someone whom I can rely on and share everything without giving second thought. Idk how to make a friend or girlfriend to be honest. I just don't want to be lonely anymore.
Sorry for the rant

2024.06.03 17:30 scarlet_poppies What Drives “Mean Girls?”

Well. I had to drop a friend recently. Maybe about a month ago I needed to let a friend go because of how she behaved when we were around each other. When we were texting I thought we were close and I confided in her a lot. I was very vulnerable with her about traumatic experiences and what I was going through. I told her about how I was struggling in the current job market. When we started hanging out irl more, her friends were all super mean to me and she had the air that her shit didn’t stink. She straight up told me that my bf is just waiting around for something better. She seemed to have a compulsive need to tear other women down behind their backs, she called it “venting,” but she had a running total of how many people this target of her ire had slept with this month, insulted her appearance and speculated that she was sleeping with their boss. That seems like bullying to me. She seemed to have a pathological habit of taking the air out of my sails when talking about things I wanted to do. Her and her new boyfriend were openly belittling my ability to hold a tech job right now.
Eventually I just stopped talking to her as much and when she asked I told her that I knew she was talking about me behind my back and that I think she is untrustworthy given all of what I have seen her do. She couldn’t even admit to it and said she was crying about it but she even told me my bf was just holding out for someone better, how is that not talking shit? Finally I just wished her maturity and growth as well as told her to do some self reflection on why she needs to be this mean. She is a person who has a lot going on for her and it seems like she needs to punch down in order to feel better about herself. When confronted, she lied about it. I am still confused, I listened to my intuition and created some distance between us but she denies that it even happened.
Am I in the wrong here? If not, what compels mean girls to be so passive aggressive and nasty? Why did she gain my trust just to break it? Why would someone who seems to have so much going for them punch down to make herself look and feel better?
Mostly coming to vent and feel validated that I did the right thing. Cheers.

2024.06.03 16:58 SlowButSpeeding Add Access Control Service Offering - Need Help Evaluating Vendors

Hi everyone,
I'm a Product Manager for a security monitoring company looking to expand our offerings to include access control systems for our customers. We're in the research phase and I would love to hear from the community about what systems you've had positive experiences with. I'm new to this space, so I'm trying to figure out which vendors are the best players in the space, and I would really like to understand some of the major pros/cons. Obviously, everyone I talk to says they are the best, and their competitors suck, so I'd like help weeding through the sales pitch.
Our Ideal Features:
Who are the Players?
While I'm open to all suggestions, here are a few that I've spoken with so far or people have recommended. Should I vet all of these? Is there someone big I'm missing?
If you've had experience with any of these or have other recommendations that meet our criteria, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Thanks in advance for your input!

2024.06.03 16:37 Environmental_Dark62 Would it ruin my career if I just walk out of my job?

I’m a research tech at the Cleveland clinic. It’s such a great opportunity.
I tried befriending my one and only coworker. I bought her the perfume she complimented me on.
Unbeknownst to me she was emailing my boss in Florida who I have never met. Telling him I do not do anything. When in reality she makes me complete my work and start over from scratch and redo it completely. She’s done this nearly 2 times.
She grabbed the mouse to my computer and she checked my pay. HR said they can’t do anything bc she claims I willingly showed her.
I tried asking her to switch parking garages bc my aunt was murdered and she told me I couldn’t.
I’ve been here 2 months and she was on vacation for 3 weeks. She never trained me. She lied about training me.
She comments on my weight. She comments on my make up or hair or earrings.
My boss in Florida believes her bc she’s worked here for 2 years. The girl I replaced made more than her and she lied and told the boss she didn’t work either so she was fired
She lied and told me I could go to my dentist and stay later. She told my boss I didn’t clock out. I did.
She emails my boss every time I sit at my desk. She emails my boss if I go to the bathroom.
She lies and says I’m just leaving when I have accommodations for my disability …
Friday the docto boss left me a voicemail and said “let me know if you’re actually going to do your work.” When I did far much more than he expected.
Then today I was told on one of the documents I made SEVERAL mistakes
I put

2024.06.03 16:04 Chaosrealm69 Beware of human females

The company of marines dropped outside the village hours after a pirate fleet had been driven away from the planet. The navy task force was currently chasing them down as they scattered across the system heading for the jump limit.
After they formed up, the Major sent out scouts and started to advance on the village. A scattering of bodies were visible in the fields as the pirates had overflown the village firing on anyone in the open, causing a large loss of life. Then once they had killed or injured anyone visible, they landed and started their raid on the village and the survivors.
They weren't after slaves this time, they were after machinery, food, valuables and technology. Those were valuable to some of the lower tech species on the fringes of known space and pirates knew just where to get them and where to sell them.
The tragedy is that by the time the navy got to the planet, the pirates had been pillaging and killing for 2 days. Long enough time to fully pillage and loot a lot of the outlying villages and massacre survivors. The company of marines were not looking forward to discovering how many colonists were lost in this raid.
As they advanced into the village they started to see a number of pirate bodies. Their red and yellow armor were visible outside certain buildings and houses and as they walked slowly forward towards the town hall, medical center, and school complex, the bodies started to add up quite a lot.
When they came into visual range of the central complex of the village, they saw an amazing sight. Fully 48 pirate bodies had been piled up against a wall and someone had done some creative work on them. They had no weapons left and it looked like whoever killed them had used improvised weapons as well as human slug throwers to kill the pirates. The improvised weapons left horrific wounds and they weren't always instantly fatal according to the medical personnel.
As they gathered outside the building a shot sounded out and a crater appeared in front of the Major sending all marines into cover. A harsh human voice sounded out "Who are you and what do you want here?"
The major called back: "We are a Navy company doing search and rescue. We are here to help any survivors or deal with the dead and deal with any surviving pirates who didn't make it off planet."
The voice called back, "You are late. We could have used you 2 days ago. We lost so many when they first flew over and we had barely any time to realise what was happening."
The Major looked at his Captains and then asked "Who are you? How many survivors are there? Who killed all those pirates? Can we come in and talk to you instead of shouting?"
A pause and then "Yeah, come on in. We are still a bit on edge and don't take it to heart if we keep our weapons. We'll open the doors for you to come on in."
In a moment, the front doors of the complex started to open and the Major could see a few Human figures pushing the doors open and removing furniture to allow people to walk through the doors easily. Some of the window shutters opened up and other human figures could be seen with weapons in hand, watching them approaching.
A older human female holding a large sword with a couple handguns on her belt was standing in front of the doors. The Major saw that the sword was covered in pirate blood and there were splatters of blood on the woman's clothes.
"Hello Major. I am sorry about the greeting but we have been on edge for these last two days and were worried that the pirates were going to return with more troops and heavy weapons. This building is sturdy but it wouldn't handle a missile or heavy weapons."
As they walked inside, the major noticed that the majority of the armed humans were females ranging in ages from young adults to elders and the few males were young adults. It appeared that the adult males were out workign when the pirate came in and killed them.
"How many survivors are there? We saw a lot of bodies int he fields and we need to know how many were able to survive this attack."
"Well we had roughly 145 people in the whole village. I think we had 63 men and 58 women, and the rest were kids. The 21 kids are in the basement along with the 31 wounded we were able to rescue after the first attack. We have 47 women and teen girls here defending this building and the kids and the pirates found us a very hard nut to crack."
"How many pirates were there? We counted about 79 bodies on our way into the village and outside."
"We think they had roughly 250 pirates all up. But once they started to lose troops and the attacks against this place failed so many times, they loaded up on their transport and took off. Charlie had given us the control for the AA system hidden on the roof and that pirate ship won't be coming back any more. It went down to the west."
The Major was astounded. A group of human women seemed to have done more damage to the attackers than his company would be able to in a fight against overwhelming numbers.
He knew he would be passing along the information that human females are not to be trifled with or threatened. They were dangerous when their children, mates and homes were under threat.

I woke up… where was I? I blinked, but all I saw was darkness. My mind was still waking up, but I felt extremely safe…and warm. I gripped the fur..fur? Oh, I know where I am. I felt Ashina next to me, above me, below me…just the fluffy goodness of someone I care about. I always feel safe when I’m with her. I tried to lift the hefty blankets off of me and use my arms to push myself off her chest, but that was not happening. She had a death grip on me with those hydraulic presses of arms. I let out a loud yawn as I shifted a little. I saw that Ashina had started stirring under me, as I had most likely accidentally awakened her from her slumber with my movements. She blinks a few times before looking at me, smiles, and pats me on the head. “Good morning.” She said as she patted me on the head.
“Hmmmmmmm,” I said with a smile as she took my head and began to lick it. I leaned into the fur. I could hear her heartbeat and breathing through her thick fur and hide as she licked my head. I wonder if this was their version of kissing? I looked out the window and saw the sun shining through the blinds as it stretched across the carpeted floor. I could hear the birds chirping outside or the alien version of birds…ah. We lay in bed together as Ashina continued to lick my head. The sun’s rays streamed across the thick, soft blankets with so many layers it was taller than me standing up. The sun shied unimpeded. No clouds, no snow, nothing. Ashina then tuned me into her chest as she licked my head. I closed my eyes and-
\knock knock**
My eyes shot back open, and I felt myself spun around again. I looked up at Ashina, who was letting out a low growl, clearly upset that our personal time was being interrupted. She moved to get out of bed when there was another knock at the door. Ashina and I looked at each other, confused, wondering who that could be at this time of day. Ashina dragged herself out of bed and stretched, her long limbs snapping and popping with each slight muscle movement. I sat up and yawned before looking up at Ashina, who picked me up and carried me in her lower arms as she walked lazily to the door. She opened it as my limbs began to work again from the deep slumber we had committed to. How long were we out for?
Ashina reached for the doorknob and opened the door, and to my surprise, on the other side was a very nerdy and sharp-looking Tiwond. I blinked a few times and looked him over. I saw a pocket protector, bow tie, massive glasses, and the Pip-Boy thing on his arm, a smaller and more compact version than Ashina had.
“Oh, of course, they would send you,” Ashina spoke coldly.
I was at eye level with him, but he looked down at his clipboard, writing something down furiously. “Miss Ashina!” He said as he stamped his foot. He then looked up, and up, at her and…poked her with a pen. “You are two days late for your report on your human!” We were asleep for two days? So that’s why I have to use the bathroom so badly. “This could reflect poorly on your work ethic!” Her…what? He continued. “This could-oh!” I smiled as he looked at me from eye level. Thinking quickly, I responded. “Hey!” This completely confused the dude for a moment, and then he looked up and up at Ashina.
"Just what we need.” He replied. He scoffed and shook his head.
I raised an eyebrow. Excuse me? Ashina’s eyes narrowed.
“Of course they sent me! I’m the best!” The nerdy Tiwond replied. Ashina just shook her head before signing. “Hey, don’t you give me that!” He snapped. “If it were up to me, you would be off the force in seconds! I don't care if you are the strongest and smartest person on this entire planet. What you have been doing is completely against regulations! I mean, look at you two! Have-have you been sleeping with the alien?!” He shook his head and wrote something down on the clipboard. “Do you know what these-these aliens might have!? I expected more from someone with your prestige and intellect. I mean, look at him. He looks like he could keel over and die any second!” What? I looked up at Ashina, who was vibrating with rage at this guy as her iris changed to that slit shape whenever she was in angry or hunting mode. I looked down the halls, and on the other side, I saw a few other people coming to look at the sky, all staring daggers at him. Looking back up at Ashina, I could tell she was seconds away from ripping this guy to shreds.
Thinking about this guy’s safety, I grabbed his shirt and pulled him close. He looked shocked.
“You are going to listen to me very carefully. Ok?” He nodded. “If you ever, EVER. Talk to her like that again. I will use my alien powers on you to turn you into a rabbit! Do you know what a rabbit is?” He was shaking and shook his head no. I leaned in close. “You. Don’t. Wanna. Know.” I let him go, and he practically tripped over himself to get away. The few other people who had come out of their apartments to see what was going on laughed as he ran away.
We walked back into the apartment, and Ashina was crying and laughing. “You…AHHHH! You just…Ahahaha! I can’t! *wheeeeeezzzzzz* I didn’t know you had it in you to do that!”
I just looked up at her, confused. “He was being mean to you. I couldn’t just stand by and do nothing! Plus, it looks like you were about to kill the guy.” She put me down on the couch and laughed for another minute. She calmed down after a few seconds and hugged me. “Who was that anyway?” +
She just looked at me and responded. “Stick up his ass.”
I laughed at that. “Got it, he’s not important.”
We ordered takeout from that restaurant on the street corner, the one that was rapidly adapting human foods into their cuisines, making them quickly rise in popularity. The same person arrived again and was once more fonding over me. They were still fascinated by the aliens out there, as in us Humans and Zeyzell, much to my absolute joy. It is a delightful change not to have a species simply look at you practically wet themselves and try to kill you, but instead look at you and feel joy. We ate quickly. Ashina smiled, and her iris changed into that plus shape. She did that whenever she was thinking. “Want to go for a ride into the woods? I've been meaning to show you the natural beauty of our planet, even though I know it can be a little bit dangerous, and you humans have not been exactly cleared for possible danger in the woods. We could handle it together, just you and I.”
I looked up at her. “Sure, if you know any safe spots, I’ve heard horror stories from others.”
She shrugged and smiled. “OK, we can check out a few safe spots. there shouldn't be any big beasties around there.” We returned to our shared room to put on our clothes. We had picked up more from Dummers a little while ago. She got her shotgun and sword, with some extra ammo to boot. She then handed me a small gun. “You know how to shoot?” I shook my head. “Alright, I’ll take you to the range someday.” She took the small revolver crossed with a 1911 pistol away from me and put it into her holster. “Take this instead.”
She handed me a small, odd-looking knife. It looked familiar. “What knife is this?”
“It’s called a Jagdkommando Tri-dagger knife, tipped with a thermite blade; it's from your home planet. I combined it with a wasp injector knife and got that beast. I had it custom-made for you. The gas cartridge is bigger and doesn’t run out as fast. It’ll make any animal think twice before coming back at us. It’s great at stabbing but not too good at slashing. Also, in a pinch or if you need to fuck up something or someone's day, you can press this button, and the thermite blade will separate and burn at [4,000 F], so that way your target will have a [4,000 F] fire burning in there body while also freezing to death from the inside out. I’ll take the guns.” I just looked down at the war crime in my hand. Shocked.
I looked back up at her. “Is this thing legal?” She nodded her head. “Oh man, the Americans would love you guys. I guess they do since a decent portion of the people in my ship were Americans.”
She stopped for a moment. Before turning around and looking at me, “Are those the humans always looking at the big guns on the Wall?” I nodded my head. “Alright, let’s get This show on the road.” She said. I put the knife on my belt, grabbed my stuff, and packed the rest of the bag. Ashina helped to make sure I packed the right stuff as she explained what danger we might face, some of them sounded like they were straight out of a horror movie, and she also explained what supplies we might need, and will definitely need. She also showed me how to expertly pack my backpack using human-made supplies so that it wouldn't be too heavy.
We exited the apartment and then the apartment building. Waving goodbye at the recipients, another light snowstorm went on as we walked outside. We set out rather quickly on her tri-cycle. We passed many people in the city, with supermarkets and restaurants, stores filled with products of all types, large neon signs telling people what each store had, and a few even had civilian power armor for sale. There were more than a few gun stores, too. As we rode through the city, we got closer to its borders and saw the massive wall that kept the animals out of the city. It was quite a sight to behold, with its vast cannons and constant patrols. Standing over ten stories tall, it was amazing to be able to see such a grand feat of engineering. I could only imagine the types of defenses they could build if they got their hands on our and the Zeyzell's tech.
At one point, a Zeyzell frigate passed overhead, although it was a bit hard for me to see with all the snow. Getting many people to look up and wave at it. We continued on, passing city block after city block. We stopped at the gates and waited for the timer to go off, as you apparently needed to wait a bit for the gates to open, hugging by the digital clock above us. Security cameras were everywhere, and so were Enforcers with power armor. They open every three hours, and I noticed few people were leaving the city. Looking around, I saw a screen with an animated Tiwond in power armor with the enforcer's symbol on it. It was saying something. “Now remember! Don’t ever leave the city without a weapon! Ranged firearms are preferred; be safe rather than sorry! This week's problem animal is the Robgton! With its thick armor and large horns! It’s one tough beast! It’s recommended that either HE or AP rounds be brought for all guns! Stay safe out there!”
I heard a click and saw that Ashina had opened the breach on her quad shotgun and loaded some of what I assumed were AP slugs into it. She clicked it shut and did the same thing to a handgun. When the gate finally opened, we all went out, and I got to see what was on the other side: large barbed wire fences were all over the place. A large mote also surrounded the city and was really, really deep, with large metal spikes at the bottom and small bunkers dotting the landscape. I looked to my left and right and saw that there were fields of land mines. Looking a bit further, I saw a bunch of heavy construction vehicles trying to remove what was left of a beast that was all flesh and teeth that was easily bigger than some of the buildings in the city, from the minefield while being supported by helicopters and power armor units. Man, Morsplanetae is a dangerous planet.
“Is, uh, this normal? All the defenses like this?” I asked.
Ashina nodded as we drove onward. “Yep! Although the wildlife has gotten even worse. So they are adding more protection to the city.” Oh ok. I blinked as I had the thought of even more guns being added to the wall. It sounded...interesting; could the wall even support the weight?
As we entered the land beyond the minefields, it was just woods as far as I could see. We went on for a while, the trees whizzing by as we continued deeper and deeper, the road getting less and less well-maintained. After about an hour's drive, we stopped in a parking lot with a few cars. An old rest stop, well, rested off to the side.
“Alright, this is where we park the cycle. Let’s go.” We both got off, and she took the lead. She had a great view because she was so tall. I could hardly see over the grass and bushes. I heard all sorts of animal calls and cries. It was nice and calming. Looking up, the sun reflected beautifully through the canopy of trees as the light snowfall continued, making this place seem like a winter wonderland ripped straight out of an old storybook. Like modded Skyrim, I wonder what version Skyrim is now on? I'll check my pad when I get home.
“Some more tribal folks still live out here," Ashina started, "although they don’t last long anymore due to how the wildlife has evolved. I only think of maybe two or three tribes left. They’re still out there somewhere in the wilderness. They prefer a simpler life than our technological-based lives. Although, with you guys appearing, I bet they’ll change fast.”
"Why would they change because of us?" I asked.
"Simple. You guys gave everyone hope of friends from out there." She replied as she gestured to the sky. I smiled. "They will want to meet your species, and people will stay with your species." I smiled even wider.
We came to a water embankment, slid down, and followed the small river. “I remember I used to meet with a small tribe that lived around here a long time ago. I traded some of my modern trinkets for some of their handcrafted stuff a few times, but a few years ago, they left. I don't know why, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it were because of the wildlife. It's getting awful out here. Wildlife is evolving rapidly, changing the game, getting better, and hunting us better. So far, the walls of our cities are still safe, but for the tribals and smaller towns. It’s getting far more difficult to survive.”
I nodded, and we continued. “I haven’t seen nature like this in a long time. It reminds me of…” I stopped as I remembered Earth. Ashina stopped, turned around, and knelt down to hug me.
“Hey, it’s okay. I’m here.” I smiled and hugged her. We then continued until we got to a large lake.
“Wow, this is beautiful.” I walked around the edge of the vast glistening water. Ice had formed on top of it a while ago, but it didn't look thick enough for me to walk over.
“I always came here as a kid,” Ashina told me. “Gorgeous, isn’t it?”
I smiled. “Yeah, it is.” We walked around the edge, and then I got an idea. “I want to go swimming…wait.” I gave her a sorry look as she laughed. “Forgot you can’t swim! Sorry!” I looked back at the water and realized how stupid it was to try and swim in there.
She just smiled. “Yeah, you wouldn’t want to go swimming here, but mainly because of him!” She pointed to a bird resembling a cross between a stork and a sad beetle.
I was a bit confused at first, trying to figure out what that thing was capable of. Then a huge lizard that looked an awful lot like an Arxur had mated a hippo that had raised a squid wrapped around the bird thing and tore it in half, then slammed its brains out by smacking it onto the water. “Oh! Him!” I yelled out, surprised.
“Yeah! Him!” Ashina laughed. Then it looked at us.
“Uhhh, Ashina?”
She looked at me. “Yeah?”
I pointed to it. “It sees us.”
“Oh, run.” We took off in a random direction, and the thing went back under. After running for a while, we caught our breath, and I leaned against a tall rock.
“Well, that…was something.” I managed to squeak out.
“Eh, we got too close to the water. Be glad it didn’t grab you or even touch you, as they can electrocute and poison you at the same time.” Was Ashina's response. I was starting to wonder if coming to this planet was a good idea…yeah it was. I got a giant muscle tank of a wolf girl who’s an alien for a best friend. “Hey, look over there!” She grabbed me, and we both knelt in some bushes. I turned to see what she was pointing at, and I saw what looked to be some deer-like creature, except it had a pair of it that looked like claws attached to its neck. Then, slowly knelt down and punched the dirt with these claws, and a root popped out. It then bent down and started to eat the root, munching as it started to stand up.
“That’s one weird-looking deer,” I told her.
“No, not that. THAT.” She pointed upward to the tree above it, in the tree with a long worm-like creature. It had hundreds of little legs that looked an awful lot like knives. Its head was a cone shape, almost as if it was made for borrowing into something. It was hanging above the deer thing like it was…watching it. I have a horrible feeling about this.
In a second, the worm thing leaped down onto the back of the deer thing and shoved its head into the deer thing's back using the head that now resembled a bony spear. The deer screeched in pain as it thrashed around, trying to get it off. The worm eventually burrowed its entire body into the back of the deer thing, and I could see it wriggling underneath the skin. The deer thing then collapsed to the ground and started seizing. Blood was coming out of its mouth as its legs twitched and its head bent to a very unusual angle. Suddenly, more movement came from underneath the skin, and… is that its spine? The spine was suddenly ejected from the hole the worm dug into it. Then the deer thing opened its mouth and… oh God…is…is that it’s brain? Its brain then rolled out of his mouth, and the deer thing twitched a few more times before going still.
I thought the horror was over. Suddenly, to my absolute pure terror. It moved. One of its legs twitched, and then it got up. It was awkward and clumsy. Then, it learned. It’s learning to walk around like when testing out a new car. It jumped a little bit here and there. Then walked off into the woods deeper, its head swinging side to side unnaturally. As it did, two eye stalks popped out of what used to be the eyes. I looked over at Ashina in horror. “Pretty cool, right?” She asked me. “The [Burrow Worm] will hijack the host and eject their spine and brain and lay its eggs in the brain, then it uses its long body as the new spine, and its head as the brain. It will treat the body as normal. Pretty cool, right?”
All I can do is stare at her absolute horror. “Don’t worry, they won’t go after you or me, bipeds mess with their systems, leading to the host and the parasite getting killed. Fascinating, isn’t it?” That’s when it came out of the brush. It was sniffing the ground, and it looked like a combo between an extremely ugly Gojid and a giant rat. It had no head. Instead, its mouth was where its neck would have been, and its eyes were on its shoulders. It wandered over to the brain, sniffed it, and gobbled it up in seconds. Then wandered off. “Ahhh, the circle of life.” She spoke aloud, and I was just horrified.
I just looked back at where the brain of the creature used to lay used to lay in the snow. “C-can we move o-on now?” I asked desperately. She gave me the thumbs up when we moved on. As we wandered through the forest, I played that scene in my head over and over. That...incident...would haunt my dreams for a while. I suddenly became aware that the ground was rumbling. Ashina also seemed to sense this and stopped. She looked around for a bit. Before her eyes settled on something, she suddenly grabbed my hand, picked me up, and ran with me in her arms. We lept over rocks and logs, animals that I think were disguised as rocks and logs. The closer we got to the thudding, the louder it got.
“Nowaynowaynowaynowaynowaynowaynoway!” Ashina kept saying, louder and louder. We ran for a solid minute until the ground rumbled with whatever was making the footsteps. We burst out into a clearing and…holy shit. I looked up in awe as I saw what could only be described as Tiwond giants, who were decked out in bone and leather armor, with some scrap metal in the armor, too. Literally, just giant versions of them that stood nearly as tall as a three-story building. They were HUGE! They were lanky and somewhat skinny, but they were…just so tall. They were taller than Ashina by a long shot! They wandered along with gigantic packs on their backs made out of animal hides. They had large weapons that were made out of stone, bone, rock, and a few that looked to be made out of old vehicles. They stopped what they were doing, put down their packs, and…started to make camp. “I can’t believe it. We get to see some! It’s so rare for them to be this far south. They love the colder regions! I can’t believe it! Come on, let’s go say hi!” I’m sorry, what? She pulled me out of the clearing and started to speak in some weird language. Immediately, they all turned around to look at her. All of them smiled and waved awkwardly with their massive hands. She dragged me to the center of the giants, and I looked up in wonder. There seems to be a clear distinction between males and females. There were about ten of them in total. The males were shorter than the females and had extremely large and ornate-looking horns on their heads. That looked like they could do some damage. They also seem to have a lot more of that bony exoskeleton than the normal Tiwond has. The females had, well, the four arms of a female Tiwond and the exaggerated breasts as well.
“Um… what’s happening here?” I asked her.
“Oh, I’m so sorry, but this experience is amazing! I can’t believe we found Giants this far south that aren’t in the city! This is amazing!” She exclaimed
“Wait, Giants? As in… giants?” She eagerly nodded her head. Suddenly, a massive hand wrapped around my body and lifted me up. I was turned around and booked face-to-face with one of the Giants. This one was female, and she was the tallest of them. The entire left side of her face seems to have been horribly burned at some time and was half melted, and scars all over. Her eye seemed to be permanently shut, and It was now just one massive burn wound. Her left ear was also melted somehow, as it stuck on the side of her head. That's when I noticed the significant difference. What was different about them from the normal Tiwonds was that they had three eyes. Two were the normal Tiwonds have them, and one was directly in the middle, on the forehead. She looked me over using two of her eyes. They all seem capable of moving in independent directions. Her mouth suddenly opened, and I was terrified that she would eat me. Then she licked me. “Uhhh, Ashina?! what’s going on here?!” I desperately asked. She looked up at me and laughed.
“She likes you!” I just blankly stared at her and turned back to the giant. The giant seemed really interested in me. She lifted me up by my shirt, using her other hand, and started poking me. She traced her fingers crossed my burn marks. She cupped the side of her face. Then she looked at me again and, using her other hand, cupped me on the side of my face. I felt some tingling sensation in my brain. It was a dull sensation, but…I knew it from somewhere, somehow. Suddenly, the giant began to cry. Massive tears splashed on the ground as she held me close to her chest and began to weep. She gently licked me as she did. Hugging me.
“Hey, no, it’s OK. Don’t cry; it’s all right, don’t cry.” I looked back at Ashina. “Uh, did I do something wrong?” She was looking at me.
“She read your mind,” she told me with a slight sadness in her voice.
“What? She did what??” Now I was scared.
“Not thoughts, emotions. Joy, happiness, pain, and suffering. She read those from your mind. She wanted to know if you felt the same pain as she did when she got burned. Giants try to connect and see the similarities with those around them; it's why they have such powerful connections; it's in their nature to see the good in others. She wanted to make the connection with you, to see if you could connect with her over pain She looked into you and saw that it was so much worse than what she had. So she weeps for you. She can sense your kindness, your wholesomeness, you being you. She feels bad for you.”
“How in the world did you know all that?” I asked. I felt terrible now. Knowing I caused her sadness, I reached up with a hand and brushed the thick white fur.
“Because I know this one. Her nickname is Mother of all. She’s fairly young for a giant leader, as the giants are ruled by a matriarchy and are mostly female, with a male being born one out of every three births, but out of all of them, she has the most experience with heartbreak, childbirth, pain, loss, joy, and caring. She got her nickname because she and her tribe once saved a field trip of students who went out into the woods a few provinces from here. She kept every single one of those children alive for three months until rescue arrived. That’s how she got that burn on the side of her face. She got it when she was defending them from a [dragon].”
“I’m sorry. A what?” I asked.
“You know, a [dragon]? Big, shoot molten metal at you, launch spikes from their back. Destroy small towns. Their scales make some of the best armor. If you didn’t have them on your planet, it must’ve been pretty boring there, huh?”
“What do you have here now? Wendigo’s?” I asked jokingly.
“Well, yeah, they're scavengers and make good pets?” I stopped asking questions I was afraid to know the answers to and turned around at the giant. She looked at me with two eyes that held both sympathy and pain. Then I noticed that the sun was setting. The giant then sat down and started to lick my hair. I couldn't do anything about it, so I just let it happen. A couple of the males seemed to be conversing with Ashina, who then quickly turned to me. I couldn’t understand what they were saying. “They want us to stay with them for the night. They don’t want us to get lost out there. Although I doubt mother here would let you go anywhere right now, as she seems very fond of you.” Ashina said, with a grin on her face. My hair now wet with slobber.
"Gee, I didn't notice." I sarcastically told Ashina, who giggled. "Can you tell me anything else about these guys?” I asked as the ‘mother’ continued to lick my hair, which felt nice.
“Well, They aren’t genius, but they are insanely kind, almost to a fault. A lot are migrating to the city now, and with how dangerous the wildlife has become, so expect to see a lot of them when we get back to the city. They travel in tribes of eight to twelve and are not to be confused with the normal tribes of more primal Tiwonds living out here, and giants are lanky and somewhat skinny. It is against the law to try and use their low intelligence as a means to control them. They have very long legs and arms. They are believed to be an evolutionary offshoot of the Tiwonds that evolved independently as the males have horns on their heads.”
I nodded and suddenly became aware that it had become very dark. I looked over and saw that the Giants had finished setting up camp. The mother suddenly reached down, picked up Ashina, and wandered to a tent. When we entered, most of the giants were in there, but it would seem a few were standing guard outside. It was a lot bigger inside than it looked. The mother suddenly laid down on her side and pushed us closer to her belly. I just went with it as I couldn’t do anything. Ashina seems to be enjoying it.
As I laid my head against the fur, I was suddenly kicked in the back of the head. I turned around to see who had done it, and I just saw the fluffy belly of the giant. “I think her stomach just kicked me,” I told Ashina.
“Awwww, she must be pregnant with a litter. That’s great.” Mother then curled up into a ball around us. She must be really flexible to be able to do this, as she touched her head to her butt. Her middle eye was closed, but her right one was still looking at us. Suddenly, I became aware of a taste in the air.
“Ashina? What’s that taste?”
“Oh my gosh, they're doing the thing!” she exclaimed. A slight gray mist filled the air, and I suddenly felt exhausted. “They will produce a chemical in the air to help them all Sleeeee….” And like that, she was out like a light. I was still awake, but I felt exhausted. I felt a giant finger move me closer to Ashina, and I laid my head against her as I cuddled up to Ashina. A massive white tail came out of nowhere and covered us two. I looked up with tired eyes, and the mother slowly closed one remaining eye. I gently patted her on the tail, letting her know we would be fine. And like that, the mother was also out. As the sleepiness slowly overcame me. My eyes closed, and I reached for Ashina’s hand. I found it and grabbed it. She held onto my hand, too. My head sunk into the fluffy white fur, and I saw nothing but the white fur. My eyes closed and…

“Ummmmm? Hmmmabababab? HmmMamam? Hwwhhwhwhw” I said, as I slowly woke up. As I opened my eyes, all I could see was white fluffy fur. I had to sit up to see, but I was so comfortable, though I didn’t want to. Hmmmmmmmahhhhhh, fine, I’ll get up. I sat up and looked around as the memories of yesterday came back. “Giants, dragons… right, Skyrim? No…reality, I remember now.” As I looked around, I noticed that it was just Ashina, me, mother, and me still left in the tent. Mother had somehow managed to move Ashina and me onto what looked like a bed made out of animal furs, which was insanely soft, mind you, and she was still wrapped around us, although she was awake and watching us. She noticed me looking at her, and she smiled and made a bellowing noise that was not too dissimilar from what an Arxur would make. She looked at me with two happy eyes. I turned on my wrist computer pip-boy thing and checked the time. Wow, it’s already almost mid-day. “Guess that stuff knocked us out.” as I moved to get up, I felt a large hand pick me up by the back of my shirt and gently place me on my feet. Ashina then came into my field of view.
“Ready to continue? We don’t have as much daylight as I would like, but there is one spot that we can make it to before night settles again.” I got up and stretched a bit. When I turned around, Mother was just gone. Dang, she’s quiet when she wants to be. As we exited the tent, we saw three female Giants and one of the males chopping away at what looked to be a combination of a mammoth, fish, and reverse mermaid. It was really disturbing to look at. One of them sniffed what looked like an egg sack and tossed it into a pot that might have been a car hood at one point. It was welded with other metal scraps to make a giant pot filled with water and boiling over a fire.
“They’re making Giants stew! This stuff is legendary! It looks like we would be hanging around the camp a little longer as they love to pass this stuff out to travelers.”
“I’m so glad we came to this planet. It’s been terrifying but awesome.” I said. The male Giant reached deep into the gut of the mammoth thing and pulled out what I can only describe as a combo of a tapeworm and a squid and beat it to death by whacking it on the ground multiple times, then spearing it with his horns. I put my hands on my hips and observed the scene as the giant began to skin the thing. “Huh.”
