At the end of January I left my job in a medical lab. It was a new experience, I was only there for 3 months and I loved the work, but some of my co-workers were god awful bullies. I had to leave before I did something I'd regret. Up until that, I've pretty much been a SAHM since 2012, but now times are tough.
Since then, I've had a hell of a time getting a job. Any time I find a lab hiring for my old role, I apply. I'd really like to get back into it and expand there. Well, last Friday I had a phone interview with one lab's HR. I thought it had went well, I had some real diplomatic answer to why I left the last lab but she caught on to something and managed to bring it around to where I had to explain in more detail what happened. I was sure that was me on the chopping block.
I went ahead and sent a thank you e-mail anyway and Monday morning she e-mailed me thanking me for the lovely thank you note, then a few hours later e-mailed me again to arrange a virtual interview. I didn't expect it, but I was glad and it helped lift my mood for a bit. But...
After so much rejection over the last few months, I've convinced myself that I wasn't getting jobs because I am an overweight woman. I feel like I have to make up for that, so I made sure my hair was dyed and all of that so that I look as well put together as I could even though I am fat and tried reassuring myself.
My virtual interview is tomorrow so I decided to make sure I got myself as prepared as possible and started combing their website. I found a "our team" page and now I'm back right to where I started.
They all look like church going gentle ladies, mostly older or younger than me. I look like a dumpy hippie, with tattoos and a lip piercing. And now I'm embarassed to even interview, half positive I will not get the job.
Anyone have any advice or similar experiences? I just need some building up to be able to face this interview. My family really needs me to get this job.

Ok, quick backstory for context. I moved into my current place about 3 and half years ago (October 2020) and I am renting. The previous tenants were evicted a couple months before I moved in for non-payment of rent. From what I understand from the landlord and my neighbors, they were not good people, think Criminal Minds meets Law & Order meets Breaking Bad. My landlord had to basically remodel the entire unit because of the state it was left in, mold growing in carpets, holes in the walls, every type of vermin infestation you can think of, etc. It was bad.
When I moved in, I kept getting mail for them, so I asked my landlord if there was a forwarding address or some way to contact them so I could get their mail to them. Some of it looked important, like medical insurance, Job and Family Services, stuff like that. My landlord told me no, there was no forwarding address or working phone number for any of them. There were 3 of them from my understanding, husband, wife and wife's teenage daughter. Anyway, since I had no way of contacting them, I just started marking things as "return to sender, not at this address" and sending it back. I have been doing this for over 3 years now, since I moved in. I am guessing they never did a formal change of address at the post office or anywhere else when they left, so everything comes to me. I even told the mailman at one point that they did not live here anymore and it was just me. Still kept getting their mail.
This brings me to my current situation. I got home from work yesterday and a brand new tire was on my front porch. I did not order a tire and when I looked at the address, it had my address, but the name of the previous tenant. Since I wasn't sure what to do with it and didn't want to bring it inside, I left it on my front porch in case he came looking for it. This morning I called the company on the shipping label and let them know it was sent to the wrong address and that person didn't live here anymore. The gentleman I spoke with reached out to him but could not contact him so he asked me to send it back. When I came home from work this evening, the tire was gone. I assume the previous tenant came and got it while I was at work. The tire company was closed by the time I got home, but I plan to call them in the morning to let them know it is no longer here.
I have a camera facing my porch, but for some reason the motion sensor didn't pick up when the tire was taken off my porch. It's not a Ring or doorbell camera, just a Blink mini inside the window that faces the porch. Also, I have never met the previous tenants and have no clue what they look like, so I wouldn't be able to tell of it was actually them that came and got it or not, though there really isn't much of a problem with things being stolen either.
I am afraid though that given the history of this person, he will claim it wasn't him who took it and since I don't have anything on the cameras and I wasn't home at the time, I have no way of proving who it actually took it. However, since I did leave it on the porch, could I be held responsible if the person claims he never got it? I have never had something like this happen before, so I'm not sure what to do or if I will be held responsible for it.
Also, if it helps. I am in Ohio. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Need legal advice - civil lawsuit
So I’m going to lay this all out and hope someone here can help.
I live in Missouri, and last year my neighbor started making anonymous animal control complaints on us even though our dog was fine, they got drunk and told us. So they started blasting music one day and my wife and 2 year old were trying to take a nap, she made a noise complaint on them, and after the police left they started texting us accusing my 2 year old of damaging their truck with utility flags, which never happened. I called police immediately as I was not home, told situation to them and as I got home said neighbor tried to come into my garage immediately and started yelling at us, that situation escalated very quickly as I denied the damage and he then decided to threaten me and my family, he even charged at me while holding my 2 year old, cops showed up verified no damage occurred, and asked if I wanted him arrested for 4th degree assault, I declined but told him to let him know this wouldn’t be tolerated going forward. The entire next week he kept harassing us so we filed ex partes, he then got word of our ex parte before being served and then went and filed an ex parte lying about me and saying what I said about him, we eventually dropped and agreed to live in peace because that’s all we want is peace.
A month or so went by then my wife was outside in the yard and his wife came up and accused her of damaging the fence while weedeating, and cops again were involved and verified no damage occurred at this point we were advised to get cameras and we did, the music began shortly there after, our house is maybe 15-20 feet from their house and they would play loud music on their back porch right outside our bedroom windows and I mean loud enough I could sing along and feel the vibrations of the bass.
The cops were called about 30 times and they just kept telling them to turn it down, we eventually talked to the highway patrol and were given an attorney general hotline to report police misconduct, police admitted tickets should’ve been issued and finally acknowledged our claims.
My wife and I both texted the neighbors asking for peace and offering to talk out our differences, and mentioned we were tired of the tension, the messages were read and ignored, the next night a Friday night they started blasting music and we called the police the wife took the peace disturbance citation, and then proceeded to argue with police in the street, and walk back and forth by our cameras the next hour calling us names through our cameras which we have saved.
They then tried to get us tickets every chance they could we had a Siberian husky and they are escape artists and we eventually surrendered her because we were tired of the harassment from them. They proceeded to adopt her a week later and she got lose on them too and got themselves another ticket, and a week later they got rid of her too.
Then in November after being issued a citation for peace disturbance and multiple animal at large tickets they hired sum chump right out of law school to send us a cease and desist letter (not filed with the court just sent certified mail) in the letter the neighbors had told this lawyer many fictitious statements, saying we were harassing them By calling police and getting them in trouble, stated that I harass them all the time, that I’ve caused them emotional distress and slander on their name.
All I’ve done is call the police when they disturb our peace because trying to talk to these people always results in a fight. We showed the fictitious cease and desist letter to 2 lawyers both of which told us to ignore it, so we did and winter came around and no music for the cold months, fast forward to two weeks ago they started again now the weathers warm, they were both yet again issued another citation for peace disturbances, and then they decided to stop answering the door for the police to try to not get tickets issued and I have a police report stating they heard the music and heard someone turn it off as they approached the house and heard people inside but they refused to answer and couldn’t issue a citation because they couldn’t determine if it was the husband or the wife, we called again last Friday and they were slightly below the threshold and recorded the officer saying that and have tried to use that one instance to validate all of their music, even though that same officer is the same one who issued them citations previously for it.
I tried to reasonably ask them to turn it down and they got mad and started a screaming match, then last night the music was so loud even my cameras were shaking I have full video and audio of the audio of the music and the bass of the music can be audibly heard rattling, we asked the HOA to step in and they tried I heard yelling in the street so I walked to my front porch to see what was going on, and they immediately started yelling at me and telling me I had no right to be outside even in my porch I just started filming them and telling them to go ahead and show their true colors and that they needed to quit harassing me as I did nothing to them.
They keep saying “I hope you testify I really do we have so much evidence on you”
And my response is I will testify and there is no evidence because I don’t even go outside because everything you say about me is a lie.
I have them on video admitting that I hadnt been outside in months, now the neighbors wife literally follows my wife around the yard anytime she is outside, when my wife’s in the back his wife goes to the back when my wife goes to the front his wife goes to the front and stares at her and makes comments about her clothes being too tight and comments about her looks.
The reason for this post is last night after the incident where I went outside and got yelled at for just being outside and calling the police for a peace disturbance the neighbor threatened to “sue me” after they issued that fictitious cease and desist 8 months ago, with all of the evidence we have, do you think we have anything to worry about if they were to try and sue, we’ve had to call the police over 90 times in the last 12 months and they have called just as much trying to make stuff up about us, the difference is they’ve been issued citations and we haven’t even been spoken to by law enforcement.
I feel like I would have a good counter claim with everything I just mentioned but need advice from others. It should also be noted that I have a clinical diagnosis of anxiety and ptsd that I have on paper and we have almost 100 videos of evidence to show the harassment and peace disturbances. We have a 3 year old who is now also losing sleep over this.

Is it hard to charge someone with stalking? I have an Ex who has harassed me through out the past 7 years. Left gifts on/in my vehicle, my house, my grand father’s house, followed me home from work trying to get me to pull over, went and try to tell my PO a bunch of stuff, messaging my minor sister, and finally googling my address and showing up at my house twice. 2 years ago I got a PPO after showing up at my house the first time. And now he’s back at it again and showed up, messaged my sister, and left Gatorade’s on my grandfathers front steps with KFC coupons mailed to his address. Any advice I would appreciate it. The cop who did the report of him showing up said he would look into it but said there has to be a “pattern” if that’s not a pattern idk what is. So my question is how hard is it to really press stalking charges on someone in Michigan? I refuse to live my life this way and now I’m worried about my grandfather because now he is aware of the situation and he is upset and idk what he will do if he shows up again.

I’m stuck in a place where I don’t know what to do. Basically I was very happy till 10th and then I was enrolled into fiitjee . Now let me make this clear , I never had any passion for JEE nor did I care about becoming an IITian. Afaik i was stupid enough to think IITian is some government job. I scored somewhat good in 10th however I didn’t have any serious career dreams. I enjoyed drawing , football and coding the small things I could do back then. I also come from a fairly financially decent family 70+ lpa afaik im stating this so you can help me out later keeping my financial condition in mind. I never had any dreams of going to IIT or any big dreams in general but of course I scored decent in 10th that’s what I was told to do. In coaching I actually was not doing bad or good. I was average. Now this started bothering me because the little bit of ego I had started being crushed. With my boards I was probably top 10 in my school (I was never a topper but always did above average) but in coaching lmao…everyone had 90+(this is 10th so I still thought boards mattered). So what did I do ? I tried to do good but as I stated, I never had any passion to get into IIT or any need, so I was inconsistent. I’d do really good in some tests but in the next test I’d be back to being average and some I would do horrible as well. Eventually by mid 11th I gave up and accepted my averageness. 11th class results came and this time I got in top 5(this was a board oriented test) Now I know most of them weren’t that serious about scoring good in boards anyways but I still got some confident boost. 11th ended and I had some hope that I can still do good.
I think around this time I heard one bhaiya in one of the senior batches scored 95ile and atp i really thought “he must be not that smart, some shifts would get you 95ile at even low marks” this is because I was made to believe that below 99 everyone’s the same. I regret thinking about that bhaiya like that lmao. So NOW, my 12th comes. Our maths teacher changed and I started feeling a bit targeted by him in coaching. He was probably trying to just make me speak more but I was an introvert , so I stopped enjoying the class. I started deliberately sitting in places I could not be spotted easily. 12th started good ngl, I developed a crush and I think she liked me too before I fucked it up but that’s another story I actually started enjoying being with my class because I finally opened up. However, I didn’t know what happened mid 12th lost motivation to study. It was not that obvious that I wasn’t studying because with my averageness I was still able to get average scores but later I stopped even making notes and I would sleep all day. I never did one shots to cover my backlogs because I didn’t have any serious ones in 11th but I started getting backlogs in 12th :) . I say this again, I never had any ambition to get into an IIT so I wasn’t that worried about not doing amazing. Towards the end tho , I made a really good friend and we both would push each to do better than the other. However, our coaching syllabus ended and I stopped going to any revision classes to ‘self study’ when I was just sleeping all day. With no one to compete with as my friend was an introvert like me so it’s not like we would comfortably talk on a call, we would just message , and no pressure of tests I had no motivation to study.
I had approx 2 months to myself on my hand . Instead of brushing up strong concepts and covering up my backlogs I wasted those 2 months I had. Couple days before the results I panicked because I hadn’t practiced any questions and all that. I just did some shit from the surface and went to give my exam on 27s1. Guess what, I scored FUCKING 79ile LMAO. I was shocked because in my 2 years of coaching not even in my worst nightmares did I think I’d get below 90 but this time I couldn’t even touch 80. My good friend however had 1 Feb session and he scored 96ile. I was so fucking jealous . However, boards came my parents told me to focus on that, I did fairly well eh whatever boards don’t matter . Second attempt , I did all the concepts that I could do after boards and still had barely any practice but I was just aiming 130 marks . Went and gave my exam with half baked concepts. Thought I did well and would easily clear the cutoff but when the answer key … in my 17 years of being alive I had never cried over a result. That day I broke down because using the calculator on this sub I was looking at 23 wrong answers out of 45. I never cried that much , this time it hit worst because I thought I did good I thought i was gonna finally achieve something. Some of my friends from school who I considered average in 10th scored better than me in first attempt and didn’t give the second one. There I’m thinking what did I do for 2 years. I’m in a worse position than them now . What was the point of not going on all those trips spending all that parents money on coaching. I cried so hard that in the middle of the night my sleeping mom came from another room to check on me. That night I slept on her lap crying . Now, I have no one to blame but I still believe I have zero luck because somehow none of my exams, even those with no negatives have gone horrible. I have no clue what to do, beggars can’t be choosers but I really don’t want to end up in an LPU like college. Please tell me what can I do at this point . 24tards or above only tho .

This is my second time ever selling my car on Autotrader. The first car I sold went well, got a cashiers check as payment and everything went really smoothly, the guy came out to test drive and it was a more local deal. I am now trying to sell another car on there as well. I have an offer for it, but for some reason I am very skeptical of this offer I got.
I put up the car for sale last night. I put it up for about 2k more than Kelly Blue Book says to have some wiggle room, knowing I'll most likely get a lower offer. This guy messages me this morning and the first message seems fine. Kind of a bit broken English but he says he is interested in buying the vehicle and asks me normal questions like "how long have you owned it and why are you selling it? When was your last check up on the vehicle?". I answer his questions and then a couple of hours later he responds immediately saying that he is going to mail me a cashier's check tomorrow morning, once I get the cashier's check, deposit it in my bank account and it all clears, he wants me to let him know and he will notify a transportation company to come pick up the car. He then wants me to mail him the title. He goes on to say that I don't need to worry because I don't need to send him the title or give the car until the check clears and everything is good in my account. He even gave me the name of the transportation company and his phone number as well.
The part that worries me the most is he didn't even ask to facetime or see the car in any way at all. He didn't try to bring down the price at all. He just agreed to everything and moved very quickly to get the car. I heard that there are a lot of scams going on with cashiers checks and them saying they will get a moving company to pick it up. I know I can verify a cashier's check before I even deposit it so that part isn't too bad, I just have a weird feeling about this and I wanted to ask other's opinions on what they think. I don't want to let a great offer go, but I also don't want to waste time with something that could very well be a scam.
Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all so much for reading!

We got both UK and US mags here in Australia but the Brit ones were always king to me.
Reviewers and editors trash talking each other during reviews and editorials, mail and high score pages that ridiculed readers who wrote in, crude humour; it was like a precursor to chatting on Xbox Live! :)
Also, reviews scores that didn't pull punches (unlike the clearly paid for reviews today where a bad game gets a 7... here they got a 1 and called "utter shite"!), ads that would be extremely offensive today (mum finding porn under a teen's bed, for example) and the original cover art never shying away from sexy female characters (usually the more badass ones like Poison or the lady from Pitfighter) adorning the covers from time to time in just barely SFW outfits and poses.
All this meant like feeling you were mates with the guys in these mags; you knew John had a crappy Spectum or Ed couldn't drive for crap. You were "one of the lads" (even though they would give you crap too if you wrote in) in a way even the internet never really recaptured.
For anyone too young to remember these (or heck, maybe magazines in general!) it is worth looking up some scans of Mean Machines, C&VG, etc to see what a different tone it was to stuff like Nintendo Power or even PC Gamer. It was almost the kind of tone that would carry over into later softcore "lad's mags" of the 2000's like Maxim, etc. but with more insults thrown around.
Or, if you just want an instant taste of the tone I'm talking about, look up Seanbaby's website and browse around. EGM was kind of the closest thing America did to these kind of Brit mags, IMO.
PS I had a massive crush on C&VG's high scores queen, Sadie! Always wished I could get that promised signed photo she offered the best scores! I do wonder if anyone ever got one.
PPS Interestingly, very early White Dwarf - the official magazine of Warhammer miniatures - had a tone somewhat similar at times, though less abusive to their customers, long before Games Workshop became the tower of corporate assholes it would become and was more a bunch of casual blokes around a table bragging about the size of their armies.

fast forward a few months later and I get a bill emailed to me for $15,000, for all these crazy charges, eviction fees, extra months we weren't living there, cleaning fees..ect... I respond to the email to dispute it.. no response.
next thing I know a collection agency contacts me saying that I owe them $16,000. I dispute the money with the collections agency and ask for proof and they mail us some typed up paper with all the charges on it written down. no copies of bills or any proof we owe this money. just meaningless charges. I call the collection agency and tell them, these charges are wrong and you sending us this doesn't prove anything and they say that's all the proof they need, they could have anything written, "happy sunshine fee" and they would still take that as proof. A friend of mine has had a stalker in game for over three years, and GM's have not done a single thing to address this, despite the guy being reported numerous times by numerous people, including my friend. It's so bad in fact, that the stalker had managed to buy the housing plot directly next to the victim, and has extremely creepy descriptions and messages on their housing board and their welcome book. The stalker has also managed to report people who have reported him for harassment, and has almost gotten them banned from the game, this has extended to external harassment as well, by joining hunt discords and finding the victim's discord account through them, as well as their steam account and relentlessly harasses them through external means as well.
A couple specific examples of this behavior include: Stalking on multiple characters when one was blocked. Stalking on multiple discord accounts when one was blocked Sent over 2300 messages to the victim on Discord in a period of two and a half hours while I was playing a game with the victim and they forgot to go offline. Attempted to befriend the victim's friends posing as a random alt/new player in order to get closer to the victim. Stalking the victim's FC mates to their personal houses when they have never met them before. Trade blocking the victim Mailing the victim in game with creepy messages Welcome message in the stalkers house reads "I love the person next door" Signpost on their house says "Someone beautiful lives next to me"
All of my listed examples are just what has happened in the past six months. I have tried to get involved with support, but they won't talk to me because "It regards another player," even though I have timestamps and dates of specific events that have happened. The GM's are completely useless in this endeavor to anyone who attempts to help my friend, and the GM's don't even help my friend whatsoever.
So, back to the original question, is it socially acceptable to publicly out this stalkers name?

TLDR: I like what Bungie is trying to do, but they’re afraid to face what really causes well to be a must-pick, and this band-aid fix causes more problems than it solves.
Disclaimer: This post is only about the well changes in the context of raids/dungeons. There are obviously a ton of other considerations when it comes to GMs and other content.
The way I see it, Bungie had two potential objectives with this change. The first is to incentivize players to use damage strategies other than just bunching up, standing still, and shooting. The second is to free up player’s choices for subclasses.
I support both of these. It sucks that warlocks are stuck running one subclass for all challenging activities. Also, I love dynamic DPS strategies and wish there were more encounters that incentivized them to a greater extent. (Existing encounters that do a decent job of this include: Atraks, legit Riven… maybe even Nezarec, Rhulk and Golgoroth to some extent). Nevertheless, whichever of these objectives Bungie was trying to achieve, I think they failed at both with this change.
Why this change fails the first objective:
Destiny is fundamentally a game in which, for the vast majority of encounters, bunching and shooting is by far the most effective and reliable method for DPS, and they have done absolutely nothing to change this. They haven’t made bunching and shooting any less effective or reliable, and they haven’t made any other strategies more viable.
Bunching and shooting is still going to be by far the most effective and reliable DPS strategy for almost all encounters, because almost all encounters are built to incentivize it. Even for the encounters that do a decent job of disincentivizing it (the the previous list), it is still the go-to strategy because it’s just so effective and reliable. Like, clumping together in a well is objectively suboptimal against a boss like Nezarec who teleports around with an AOE suppression ability, yet players have found a way to force the strategy to work (standing at the back of plates where Nezarec can’t slam) because it is significantly more effective than having to run around while trying to deal damage.
If you’re going to populate your game with bosses who have massive health pools and wipe mechanics that trigger if you don’t kill them quickly enough, players are inevitably going to be forced to stand in a protected area and dump damage at the boss in order to succeed. Atraks is probably the best example of boss-design that de-emphasizes stationary damage dealing. You can’t just sit in a single well for DPS because the encounter is structured around challenges that go beyond a mere damage threshold (juggling the clones, locating and coordinating around the next target, etc). Unfortunately, Atraks gets absolutely bodied by optimal damage strategies, but I’ve really enjoyed being able to experience more of the encounter’s mechanics in below-light pantheon. Now, I’m not saying that every boss should be like this (I enjoy perfecting a good damage rotation as much as the next guardian). But I am saying that if there were a lot more Atraks-like encounters in the game, there would be far fewer Warlocks complaining about well.
Apart from the overwhelming effectiveness of the bunch and shoot DPS strategy, there is the further issue of survivability during DPS phases. More dynamic DPS strategies are fun and engaging, but in addition to having a lower overall damage output while running around, it’s also a lot easier to die when you don’t have something to protect you from the massive amounts of damage flying in from the boss and surrounding adds.
In the context of current boss encounters, I think dynamic DPS strategies would need to see a pretty significant increase in effectiveness to overcome the sheer reliability of bunching and shooting. (Even if the optimal damage output of an dynamic strategy is 20% higher, if you fail to achieve optimal damage or have teammates dying 20% more than you would normally, then it will still be more effective to use the same old strategy). For most players (especially those in LFG teams), a very significant increase in reliable effectiveness is required to justify abandoning a strategy that is easy to implement (see the enduring suboptimal use of Thunderlord for DPS). Genuinely ask yourself, what percentage increase in damage/effectiveness would it take for you to consider running no well at all in your next damage phase? To me, the answer is far from obvious. However, currently there is no such tradeoff between effectiveness and reliability when it comes to DPS positioning strategies. Bunching and shooting with AOE damage mitiagation, healing, and empowerment is far and away the most effective, the most reliable, and the easiest. The well nerf does not change this in any meaningful way, and I will bet good money that the Final Shape will see players finding a new way to do the exact same thing they are doing now.
Why this change fails the second objective:
If bunching and shooting is still the most effective thing for teams to do during damage phases, then this change has done nothing more than change what is required to implement it.
Assuming that the healing and damage reduction nerfs to well are enough to make it insufficient for independently mitigating the incoming boss/add damage during DPS phases, then players will simply find other methods of healing and damage mitigation. The most obvious option will be the newly reworked bubble, which now allows players to receive its damage reduction while standing just outside of it. Other options include healing nades, healing rifts, titan barricades, woven mail, and frost armor. However, all of these either dont provide enough survivability, aren't easily provided to a whole team, or wouldn't last for a full damage phase without being renewed. These deficiencies, combined with bubble's overwhelming reliability and ease of use, make bubble a near-inevitability for this role.
The other benefit that well provides is a damage buff (via radiant). Now, if weapons of light from a Helm of Saint 14 bubble is also provided to players that stand just outside the bubble (which is not made 100% clear by the dev post), then bubble will be able to fill this role too. But this would require a player to run a particular exotic (Helm of S14) and a particular subclass (void titan), which is already worse than what was required of players in Wellock Jail. Also, it is important to consider that many titans will be (justifiably) unwilling to be stuck with a particular exotic when they are already stuck on a particular subclass. (Its very likely that the titan could swap to a different exotic after placing their bubble, but most players understandably don't want to deal with the hassel of pre-damage exotic swapping). This is especially true in the context of LFG teams: which is how a large portion of Destiny players experience raiding.
So if the bubble titan is unwilling to run Helm of S14, then the team will have to look elsewhere for a damage buff. Apart from well, the main contenders include Lumina, solar melees with ember of torches, and acrobat's dodge. These all have their issues. First, none of them last for a full damage phase without being reprocced. This isn't a massive issue for the first two, but it would be a bad idea to give hunters an excuse to be flipping around during a damage phase involving explosive weaponry (so thats off the table). For experienced and well coordinated teams, Lumina is already being used. But for most players, sacrificing the exotic slot to run Lumina and having to worry about building up stacks and reapplying the buff mid-damage is too much trouble for not enough benefit. (There's a reason most teams don't run Lumina, despite it proving 10% more damage than well alone). Some teams might opt to proc radiant with solar melees, but it would require at least three melees (so two hunters with double lightweight knives or three plus guardians on solar) and a decent degree of coordination to extend raidant over most damage phases. Ultimately, as was the case with bubble for damage mitigation, well's overwhleming reliability and ease of use will almost certainly win out in most fireteams (especially LFGs). The only coordination required would be to ensure that the team can simultaneously stand in the well and near the bubble, while still being able to shoot the boss. I can already hear myself saying “let me just switch to well,” after the LFG hunters fail to coordinate their melees for the seventh time in a row…
So, if my predictions are correct (which is admittedly not a foregone conclusion), the well nerf could result in four possible scenarios. (1) At least one titan is forced onto bubble and Helm of S14. (2) At least one titan is forced onto bubble and another player is forced onto Lumina. (3) At least one titan is forced onto bubble and two or three other players are forced onto solar subclasses. (4) At least one titan is forced onto bubble and at least one warlock is forced onto well.
(1) Is unlikely to be widespread for reasons already mentioned, and is a net loss in subclass/exotic flexibility (since wellocks can currently run any exotic they want). (2) Is the most unlikely scenario, for reasons already mentioned. (3) Is unlikely for reasons already mentioned, and is an even greater net loss in subclass flexibility. (4) Is the most likely scenario for most teams, and is also a net loss in subclass flexibility to the current sandbox.
Conclusion
Ultimately, subclass freedom depends a lot more on what the most effective DPS positioning strategy is than it does on the particular manner in which that strategy is achieved. Bungie is never going to succeed on either objective if they don’t change what encounters incentivize. In choosing the half-measure of nerfing well without changing anything about how players are incentivized to approach DPS phases, Bungie has not only forced titans into bubble jail, but they have also failed to release the majority of warlocks from well jail.
I think it’ll be fun to adapt damage strategies to the new meta, but I predict that this change will prove to be an overall downgrade from the current meta once the novelty has worn off. Hopefully these changes are just a first step and Bungie is planning to develop less well/bubble reliant boss encounters going forward.
It’s also possible that my bleak predictions turn out to be completely wrong. A ton of new stuff is getting added with TFS and the raid meta could go in all sorts of crazy directions.

Summary In addition to the changes Bungie have laid out, I think the following changes for Stasis should be made for it to be viable in a subclass 3.0 world, with more ways to get Frost Armor and better synergy between Stasis weapons and the subclass verbs, Stasis kits, as well as armor mods. Bungie is attempting to make it a 3.0 Subclass with these changes. I think they can do better.
General Changes

• Make Stasis Crystals easier to break for whoever created them.
  • This might take some processing power, but needing a dedicated Fragment for this "Whisper of Rending" is frustrating and inane.
  • Just have the crystal be vulnerable to damage by its creator, and harder to destroy for everyone else.
• Remove the Text on abilities stating that "Stasis abilities have inherently longer cooldowns"
• Frost Armor Stack max should be higher (6 Stacks at base, 10 Stacks with Whisper of Rime) :
  • This is assuming Frost Armor Stacks decrease one at a time
    • With the changes I've proposed below, and the numerous ways to get Frost Armor, I think Frost Armor should deplete completely when the timer reaches 0.
    • However, with Bungie's current changes, it should decrease one stack at a time.
  • This is to allow Stasis to compete with Woven Mail. I think what most people forget is that this is a RAMP UP, starting from 4%.
    • With Shard generation having a cooldown, this is more essential the fewer people there are in a fireteam using stasis
    • Bungie can balance this out by reducing the max timer from 13 to 10 seconds.
    • In PvP You can decrease the amount of DR to 1.5% DR per stack to match the current changes.

Grenade & Super Changes I'm not touching these, as Bungie hasn't in their most recent article. If you want some cool ideas I'd recommend this Post about making a better Stasis. Some of the other ideas in this post are inspired by it.
Aspect Changes

• All Harvest Aspects:
  • Should grant +3 Aspect Energy Capacity for consistency
    • This allows for more flexible customization for what is now an Essential/Core part of each Subclass kit in PVE
    • Each subclass should be able to create Shards by Slowing, Freezing, and Shattering Crystals/Combatants
• Titan
  • Tectonic Harvest
    • See All Harvest changes
  • Howl of the Storm
    • Should mimic Consecration in that it costs half your melee energy to create a line of stasis crystals on the ground (Current), and then another half to slam down, shattering all crystals and frozen targets where you land.
    • Cryoclasm
• Hunter
  • Grim Harvest
    • See All Harvest changes
  • Winter's Shroud
    • Remove newly added functionality of "Slowing targets briefly increases your class ability regeneration rate.". Move this to Whisper of Refraction
    • Add another charge; Hunter Dodge now as 2 charges.
• Warlock
  • Glacial Harvest
    • See All Harvest changes
  • Frostpulse
    • Add the functionality to shatter Stasis crystals and Frozen targets with the pulse

Fragment Changes

• Whisper of Reversal
  • Interesting idea with an overload stun when Frost Armor is active, I look forward to seeing how it plays out
  • However, with the current list of Aspects and Fragments it feels like you need to prioritize other fragments before it because of the core functionality they would bring to a kit.
    • Expanding Fragment and Aspect functionality as I've proposed would make this a more viable option I think
• Whisper of Chill
  • Should be a Large Stasis Shard with -10 Strength
  • Should additionally spawn a Medium Stasis Crystal
    • Current fragment seems redundant, especially with all the abilities going around that can slow or freeze and all the Chill Clip/Headstone Stasis weapon rolls we have. My Proposed changes would somewhat alleviate that, while still making it relevant to the rest of the Stasis kit.
• Whisper of Fractures
  • Should be changed to "Grants a stack of Frost Armor when you shatter any frozen target"
    • Remove the melee attack conditional to promote use for all classes
• Whisper of Fissures
  • This feels too mandatory for doing any damage with Stasis crystals, and should just be a part of the Subclass.
    • This has been sort of rolled into the Base Subclass kit with the latest post from Bungie
  • Instead, replace this fragment with the "Hail the Storm" Seasonal Artifact mod functionality, where it shoots out slowing shards of ice from destroyed Stasis crystals & frozen targets in addition to the damage increase.
• Whisper of Refraction
  • See Hunter Winter's Shroud changes
  • Changed to "Slowing or Defeating Slowed or Frozen Combatants grants you class ability energy. This energy is reduced in PvP game modes."
• Whisper of Bonds
  • Change this to "Picking up an Orb of Power grants a stack of Frost Armor" with -10 Resilience. Large Orbs of Power should grant x2 stacks of Frost Armor
    • This is incredibly close to the changed Whisper of Fractures, but allows for another way to obtain Frost Armor without Freezing Targets
  • Currently, this fragment is literally just two Siphon mods with less usability and a 10 second cooldown for one large orb and -10 Intellect.
• Whisper of Rending
  • See General Changes
    • Rework this Fragment to make targets take more Stasis Weapon damage. This plays into the stasis subclass synergy more.
• Whisper of Chains
  • Additional functionality: Has a chance of the created Stasis Shard being a Large Stasis Shard the fewer Stacks of Frost Armor you have. -10 Recovery
    • With my proposed changes to Frost Armor DR, this will help people ramp faster to max stacks, while keeping health topped off in combat
• Whisper of Torment
  • Good Changes, promotes more active/engaging play, like with Strand

TLDR I've proposed a series of changes on top of Bungie's Stasis adjustments that I believe would help promote Subclass-Weapon synergy and better options for getting Frost Armor and utilizing Stasis verbs.

Seven years, I'd think you would have the decency to actually break up with me. To end things, instead of leaving me here, wherever I am.
After another whole year of helping you, doing anything I can for you, dropping everything on a dime and running to you. You said you still love me, do you even remember? Or was that just another freudian slip, another instance of the truth working its way up to the surface and breaking through the crust of the reality you're attempting to convince yourself is real. Or through the crust of reality that you've known this whole time and kept from me.
After watching you homer simpson yourself into the bushes; fade to black and disappear, except when you need something of course. To pick up the mail you still haven't forwarded after almost 2 years. To keep you company while you drive across town. To share the intimate details of your extraordinary excrement. What, you can't talk to your other boys about that? That doesn't jive with the alternate reality you're attempting to create for yourself on the surface of whatever planet you've gone off to?
And somehow you really don't see how all this affects me? Or you just don't care? The world is just here for you to interact with as you see fit, for you to get whatever it is that you need at the moment?
Why can't you just come out and say that you're no longer considering reconciliation? Is it because you were never really considering it in the first place? Your whole intention is to keep leading me on, relegating me to an emotional dump, on your schedule and as you see fit?
You could have at least been honest with me about your intentions. We had a few nights, opportunities to go out with a bang. Which just makes me love you more and want to be there for you.
You don't even see your deception. You can't say any of the hard words. Which makes no sense with how flagrantly you spout your thoughts without the first attempt at a filter. It just reaffirms that you don't know. You don't understand the first thing you're doing. Which is such a shame; forget me CeeLo style, but there are children involved. I have not been "well, all things considered." I guess I did lie again. I have been and continue to be completely and utterly devastated. Despite all my best intentions to the contrary. I thought two gallons of tears was enough, but clearly that's not the case. You will be able to milk me for my entire production capacity, and it's becoming clear that is your intention. You never talk to me, really, and make each of my attempts at communication into something they're not.
I wasted almost all of my 30s on you. I was in a place to start over, and this is what you've made of it. Now you're off to pretend like you're a teenager again and relive your youth. After reviewing the rules before posting this: consider this my solicitation of advice and/or opinions. I welcome criticism, ridicule, judgment, insults, and derogatory comments. I posted this for some reason instead of leaving it with all the others.

After receiving several, “Replace your equipment to get faster download speeds” e-mails, I decided to research ways of improving my equipment and potentially saving some money along the way. This is especially important because the Affordable Connectivity Program is ending.
I determined that I could save $15 monthly by switching from my own cable modem to rental of an xFi Gateway.
($30 unlimited data - $15 xFi Gateway rental = $15 savings)
I ordered an xFi Gateway online.

• The system gave me a delivery time of 3-5 business days and stated I’d get an e-mail confirmation.
• I never received the e-mail confirmation notice. So I conducted the same order again… still without an e-mail confirmation. (I screenshotted the second order.)
• I later got a local phone call/voicemail asking me to call Xfinity’s contact number (877-392-1494). (Due to excessive fraudulent phone calls I never answer the phone unless it’s in my contact list.)
• Apparently there was one phone call per order number so I have two calls/voicemails in total.
• I decided to go to the source and went to a local brick-and-mortar Xfinity location. I explained what I wanted and the associate wrote it up and sent me a text with a link to verify the account changes. There the modem rental was listed as “xFi Complete” and cost $25 instead of $15. This saves me almost nothing and was in contradiction with the earlier, online quote. I asked the associate if I would get unlimited data without “xFi Complete”’s distinguishing features (security he stated) and he said “No”. He told me I could remove the security features later if I didn’t want them. I don’t like these tactics, conflict, and a meager $5 cost savings so I left.

Am I misunderstanding something?
The only change I want to make is get free unlimited data in exchange for renting an xFi Gateway. I have voice service and don’t need any features other than the xFi Gateway hardware.
