Just had lunch with him as he was lecturing me something about “business of people”. I know it was BS right away but find the situation to be a bit funny. I have lots but this specific one makes me chuckle every time I remember it… When I was in high school I wasn’t much of an introvert, I had lots of friends and was one of the most famous people in my class.. But I had a problem talking to girls I had a crush on… It was a new session and we had this new female student that’s everyone was talking about because she had this type of ‘Bad teenage girls in movies persona’.. For about 3-4 years before that I did not like anyone because of another funny thing that happened, so I gave up on love… But i decided to try my shot with her because why not…. So we hit things off and started talking, it was 1month in and I started to develop what I thought was feelings for her… That was the moment the shyness kicked in. 😂 Our class had different arms ( let’s call them A and B ) I was in one she was in the other , we had different class schedules so we didn’t interact much.. I’d always avoid her when it was lunch time 😂I would not leave my class and always stay with my friends. We would cross eyes once in a while but it’ll just be a hi… We always still text each other.. So one fateful day, we were chatting.. she confessed her feelings for me.. I did not know what to say.. so I said I also felt the same way..

As the title says, I missed a review invite from a journal. I wanted to do it, but couldn't prioritize it. Today, I recieved an email from them saying they un-assigned me and moved on without my review. I wonder if it affects my relationship with them in the future as an author? I mean do they have a list or something like that to keep track if authors have missed or un-assigned reviews on their name, and if they are going to reject their papers? It's funny I'm having this thought, but my anxiety got the better of me and is spearheading this post. This is my first ever review.

Obviously looks mean a ton for women too, but the difference being that the vast majority of women, even objectively average women are still very attractive to the vast majority of men.
As a guy though, if you aren’t getting dates, it’s simply because you aren’t good looking enough. It’s genuinely that simple. Looks mean less as you get older, but as a younger man it’s the only thing that matters to women.
Let me tell a quick story. Growing up I was a pretty attractive kid. I never once went to a dance alone, and yet I never once asked a girl to go with me. At 21 years old I was getting hit on every single time we went to a bar. My friends would invite girls over and their “girls” would rather talk to me than any of my friends. I didn’t even have to try and i would bring be sleeping with a new girl every month.
Unfortunately however, I started balding at 22 years old. My hair was the main thing that made me so attractive. Super long curly dark hair. On top of this, I can’t grow any facial hair at all. Over the next few years I still got girls, but as my hair left, so did the women. At 26 years old, I was full shaving my head.
Since that point, I’ve never been hit on in a bar ever again. I’m now 32 and struggle tremendously to find dates even though I’m the exact same guy I was back when I was 21. Have a great job, am funny, and smart, yet none of it matters without the looks.
Personality obviously matters, but despite what people will tell you, it’s an after thought to the initial attraction. Without that, you will go nowhere with girls. The best you can hope for is settling down later in life after the girls have already had their fun.
I’ll probably get downvoted by a lot of salty individuals, but it’s the truth. All I’m saying is stop with the wondering and realize that if you are consistently single, you simply just aren’t attractive enough.
P.S: I want to point out that this is mostly a recent phenomenon. As social media and dating apps grow, it will only get worse

There's a huge load of funny things that happened with me during my clg years....I wanna share one with you....so i was in my second semester, and me lunch nahi leke jata tha apne saath but that one day I decided to cut some fruits as my lunch for that day....I sliced the fruits and kept it in the refrigerator since there was still time to leave for clg... I got late getting ready, and I had to rush all the things, so I opened the refrigerator and took the container (in which I thought my fruits were) ....what I failed to notice was that there were two same containers...so I went to my clg and asked my friends if they want to eat the fruits, and it was not just one friend, I asked as many as I could......so my friends came to eat and I opened the container....the container had 'atta' in it and not fruits....I had picked the wrong container.....all my friends and me were laughing so hard....it was just too hilarious .....idk if u guys can imagine how it would have looked like but I hope u guys laughed atleast a bit ....since I shared my story, I wanna listen to ur stories as well!... Ohhh and the atta in the container wasn't wasted...we went to the canteen and asked the chef's to make rotis out of em...so no wastage!

please hear me out. im a very big Billie fan and i consider her first 3 albums masterpieces with no skips. im also older and a very big music fan. i listen to everything. we waited 3 years for 10 new songs which clips from 3 or 4 surfaced online so element of surprise was very low. i respect artists attempting to experiment but when going away from your usual sound (which she has many of) its possible it doesnt work out too well.
SKINNY - pretty basic guitar medley. basic lyrics and chorus. i do love the iii iiii iiii i never did you wrong myyyyy my patience is gone” part. violin transition was very random and unnecessary. transitions are supposed to blend or switch smoothly. also was this 2 verses? i guess no one makes 3 verse songs anymore
LUNCH - corny, cringe, and annoying
CHIHIRO - another very basic guitar medley. below average lyrics. its just sounds like gibberish. is she falling asleep? i did like how the instruments came in for the chorus.
BIRDS OF A FEATHER - very nostalgic catchy melody catchy hook. good song
WILDFLOWER - another basic guitar medley. love the vocal delivery but not lyrics she really isnt saying much.
THE GREATEST - basic guitar medley, below average lyrics, transition wasnt as odd on this one.
L’AMOUR DE MA VIE - basic guitar medley. basic lyrics and singing. probably the most random transistion i have ever heard BUT i love the 2nd part. glad she released it by itself.
THE DINER - catchy beat but the effect on her voice isnt good. basic lyrics again as well.
BITTERSUITE - its funny the 3 songs i do really like are the lowest streamed. this may be my favorite track i love the intro, the softer style, the transition then the end transition into BLUE
BLUE - love the melody and the beat switches on this BUT technically its not a new song
overall this album seems very rushed and lazily done. (perhaps could be the case because going in they knew they had to come up with 20 songs 😲 ? idk but chris brown gave us 30+ songs twice and 40+ songs twice and it was all 🔥 with barely any skips. ill usually go ahead and save the “meh” songs to my library but i couldnt even do that with majority of this album. only saved 4 if you include L’AMOUR DE MA VIE [OVER NOW EXTENDED EDIT]
