I know this makes it seem like I don't care about "doing it the right way" but what are the best options for self-paced online or accelerated in person classes. I'm in Morgantown WV and there are not any community colleges near me that have it nor are there any legitimate programs near me. I don't have many options and I'm a premed student so I have to be done by mid-August when classes start back. But it's pretty expensive and I don't know if it's a good option. What other options do I have? I'm getting somewhat frustrated with the lack of options for EMT training in the state of WV and my area in general.

If you live in a populated city or town, then you most likely have or live next to a place where a local monster or cryptid resides. Cryptids can be found all over the world. Some are well known like the chupicabra or moth man. Some are less known like the black eyed children. The place I live is no different. But what if I were to tell you that our resident cryptid was one of the most famous, yet least documented cryptids in history. I know what your thinking. How can a cryptid be famous but have little information on them? Well thats because this Cryptid was once an influential figure but has since become one that only a select few people know. This Cryptid,s name? Aradia.
If that name sounds familiar, that's because Aradia is elegadly the name of Lucifer,s daughter. She was credited as being the very first witch. For safety reasons, I can't tell you the actual name of the town. But if you have to have a name to place with this town, then... call it " witch falls " or something.
Unlike most cryptids, Aradia typically keeps to herself. She only shows herself in town for one of two reasons. 1. Someone insults her out loud. Or 2. Someone is cruel to animals or children. In both instances, the guilty party is usually punished in a very cruel and frightening way. They are kidnapped and teleported somewhere away from town where they are burned at the stake like witches but are cursed to heal from the injuries, endlessly being burned and healing. I know because i,v seen where this area is. there is a third way you could theoretically meet her. But as far as I know, I am the only person in town that has taken that option for over 50 years. If your brave enough, you can walk to her residence in the woods, go into her home and talk to her. If you do decide to take that route, you can make deals with her to help you with certain problems in exchange for something in return later, not unlike Lucifer himself. and the reason I know about THAT, is because my grandfather was the last person to make a deal with her. The deal HE made was that in exchange for curing my Mother's terminal brain cancer as a child, he would have his life shorted drastically, like my mother would have. He died when my mother was 13. I myself would end up making a deal with her, but mine came with a much bigger cost.
Remember how I said that I can't tell you the real name of the town due to safety reasons? While that is true, its more so because of the towns history. See... our town is actually quite famous. Or infamous depending on your perspective. Our town was the sight of a tragic event that happened early in our towns history. If I told you the actual name, that would mean more people would come in, meaning a much higher chance Aradia will show up and scare the tourists. And its partly because of this event that I made the deal I made. I grew up learning about it and I was ashamed and disgusted that we did something so horrible. After I found out about Aradia, I started piecing together that there was much more to the story that the general public and maybe even the locals were unaware of.
I wish I could say that seeing her was a rare occurrence but it was actually relatively frequent. The first time I saw her, I was 8 years old. And dispite my young age, it is crystal clear in my memory. I remember walking blind and deaf for a long time with my mother guiding me. At the time I didn't understand why, but years later, I would be extremely grateful that she did that. When I could see again, we were standing in front of a massive log cabin. All the lights were off, so I assumed that no one was home. But my mother persisted and walked me up the stairs and knocked on the door 3 times. We wait for a few seconds before we hear a female voice inside.
" Come in. " the woman said.
My mother turned the door knob and opened the door. Sitting cross legged In front of us was a slender, dainty looking woman with long white hair and wearing a black dress with her back turned to us. There were dozens of candles around her, lighting up the room. To me, she looked harmless, but my mom looked terrified as she was looking at a monster.
" um... Lady Aradia? " my mom asked. " yes. What can I do for you, my dear? " Aradia asked. " my name is Jessica Sharp. I believe you knew my father, Robert Sharp? " my mother asked.
At the mention of my grandfather,s name, the flames in the candles grew bigger and wider for a few seconds before returning to normal. Aradia actually stood up and turned around to face us. This is when I finally learned why my mom was so nervous. Her eyes were glowing red hot and she grinned with a smile filled with sharp, jagged teeth.
" oh yes, I remember him. I agreed to save your life, didn't I? " Aradia asked. " yes, I believe you did. " my mom said. " are you here to strike up a deal yourself? " Aradia asked. " uh... no no, not today unfortunately. " my mom said. Aradia then looks at me. In a split second, Aradia goes from a scary looking monster to a friendly looking woman as she blinks her eyes and her burning red eyes turn into normal grey eyes. Her teeth go from sharp and jagged to flat and sparkling as soon as her mouth closes and opens again.
" and who,s this handsome little gentleman? " Aradia asked. " this is my son, Jack. " my mom said. " thank you for visiting me at my home, little Jack. I love having visitors, especially children. " Aradia said. " what was that you said about saving my mommy,s life? " I asked. " oh that! Well you see, when your mommy was your age, she had a serious medical problem. Your grandfather visited me long ago and convinced me to help your mother. " Aradia said. " is that true mommy? " I asked. " yes. but it cost my fathers life. " my mom said in a borderline threatening tone. Aradia,s eyes go red hot again and my mom gets frightened again.
" i will allow it this once because your son is with you but dont push it. " Aradia said. " Y- Y- your right, my apologies, lady Aradia. " my mom said. My mom immediately led me out of there. The last thing I remember was Aradia smiling and waving me goodbye. As I grew older, I did more research on Aradia. While I couldn't find much, the few things I did find were enough to give me idea,s about why she settled here. Aradia was said to be a teacher and in some cases mother to her students. And the incident that put our town on the map actually involves executing eledged witches. If my theory was correct, that meant that she was here as a way to punish us for killing her students/ and or children. And if that was the case... I would say we deserve it.

Starting my next set of placements soon, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with staying in the hospital accommodation? I know it probably varies massively with placement sites, but is it generally okay or is it pretty tragic?
I normally commute to uni anyway and I don't really mind it, but some of my upcoming placements are getting even further away to the point where commuting 5 days a week would be ridiculous. Two of the worst ones do offer accommodation for medical students, and it would make things so much easier for me, but I have also heard horror stories about cockroaches and all sorts.

Prologue

Hello and welcome to my post. I will subdivide this into two large parts. One will cover my thoughts, feelings, my hopes and dreams...While the other will tell you the specifics of how I pass the time, what topics interest me, what passions do I posses. I believe that at the end of this leap into my inner world, you dear reader, will have all the necessary information to judge whether we are compatible or not.

Part I
I am writing this in the hopes of finding something that I lack. Lately I have had this feeling, this tinge of melancholy within the dephts of my being, this yearning to find a kindred spirit, another Soul, much like mine, to form a bond with. Perhaps Loneliness is the right word for what is bothering me, but to use it seems to carry with it a connotation of ungratefulness. Ungratefulness for the people that I do have in my life, although none of them, of course, have the connection to me that I seek here.

I have found it increasingly necessary to seek in this Life a sort of purity of thought. What I mean is, I have began to undestand what ideas and concepts are ultimately compatible with my inner most Self, ergo what guidelines I have to follow to feel the most whole. Naturally I have likewise realised what I cannot add to my Self and what I will henceforth reject with all the power that I posses.

With this new context in mind, I now follow on the path of self improvement. I will now begin to mold my Self into my perfected idea of how the Self should be. This is certainly a significant undertaking, one that will not be easy to follow through on but one that I ultimately have to do. To me such context is essential. It is akin to a Guiding Star shining in the night. I will follow this Star for without it I am lost in the vast Darkness.

Looking back at my life, it was suboptimal, especially if one compares the way it molded me to how I will now mold myself. I suppose I must look on with a hint of regret at all that time which one might consider to be lost. Still... I try to stave off such decisively negative interpretations, after all, I have ultimately came to these conclusions. That means that somewhere along the line I had to have picked up on enough of such ideas for them to become so cemented in my consciousness. Well, either that or I was always like this, but in that case I can at least thank my life up to this point for not being able to supress such manifestations of my inner most Self.

To add to the topic of my life, I must admit that not all the battles have yet been won, not all the Demons vanquished, not every Mountain climbed. I want you to keep such things in mind when deciding whether or not to approach me. Many will shy away, I undestand that much, but the pursuit of true Companionship is just another such battle. Having said all that I do believe that being able to overcome hurdles together carries with it a certain appeal. That is to say, what's the fun in joining once the Game is already over?

I don't shy away from such challenges, perhaps to a fault. Certain troubles that I faced in the past carry with them a long shadow over my current health and well being. Still, I intend to change little in this regard other than the proficiency with which I will clash the current of my Will against the cliffs of Life.
Part II
In this part of my post I will tell you about my interests and hobbies, I will try to be thorough, commonality in this regard is rather important to build a relationship
History. I have had an interest in history for almost a decade now, it started back in school and developed from there. Well, now that I think about it one could argue that it started even earlier in my life as I liked watching the odd historic documentary or film aired on television but it wasn't regular back then, I never actively sought it out. I am mostly interested in European history in the period between the 18th-20th century but I sometimes branch out to other time periods and other parts of the world. I watch various channels related to history and read articles and sometimes books. I have recently got a few books on the German revolution of 1848/1849 and a historical magazine on the Thirty Years' War. Besides that I try to visit museums sometimes.
Literature. Especially old novels. I like to immerse myself in the Worlds of these books, I tend to read them while listening to thematically fitting music and take my time with them. One time you are following a troubled Youth in his quest for spiritual understanding of the world, another you see the aged and decrepit Doctor gambling his very Soul on the promises of abtaining satisfaction in earthy pleasures, then again your olfaction notices the most pleasant scent known to man even as the one eminating it has the appearance of a revolting Frog. These and many other stories open up to you once you decide to set foot into the literary World.
Languages. I know three, with one being a bit rusty. I am currently working intently on strengthening it. I believe that if I continue to apply myself in this regard then I should be able to finally conquer it. What language am I working on? Well, if you were to stack all the major works in it they would be as tall as a house... It is fun to go through different works in multiple languages, the same goes for film, games and such.
Games. I recently played Cyberpunk 2077. Well as recently as I played any major story centric game. Now that the dust has settled and the bugs mostly removed...It's not that bad. The main questline at least. Besides that I tried Fallout 76 (Very average, I'm dissapointed with what they made the "RPG" system) and I might give Deus Ex Manking Divided another spin (since it's somewhat similar to Cyberpunk when it comes to its aesthetics). Dark Souls is one of my favorite series, I still haven't beaten Elden Ring though. When it came out I wasn't in the right mindset to invest a hundred hours into it, with all those bosses and difficult locations. I think I'll only consider playing it if I am streaming it to someone. I am generally interested in either streaming games or having the person I am talking to stream them to me. To be specific I mean streaming to a single person while being on call. Besides that I'm a big fan of Paradox strategy games, especially Europa Universalis IV and Heats of Iron IV, I tend to only play single player since I find multiplayer with many people to be rather stressful but on the other hand I have nothing against a co-op game. I'm not the best player though, despite the ammount of hours I have in them. Another great game I would mention would be Dragon's Dogma. A very underrated RPG. I recently beat it again and it was an atmospheric and interesting experience. It is one of those games that feel like they have an endless ammount of depth and constant new secrets to discover.
Anime and Manga. In recent times my interest in them has waned but I still watch the occasional series here and there. Like Cyberpunk Edgerunners (Which I found to be rather mediocre) and the very good first season from the new arc of Bleach. Some of my favourite series include: Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Death Note, Fate;Zero, Psycho Pass, Code Geass and Attack on Titan. I wouldn't mind if you were to introduce me to some new series, maybe based on the ones I mentioned. My favourite Manga is Berserk which I still follow, althought I am still not certain on the direction that the new author is taking. I suppose it really is a matter of contention whether a somewhat (or considerably warped) vision is better than an unfinished work. One could argue that a few novels remain unfinished and possess a macabre appeal to them as such.
Music. Classical music has a very special place in my heart. A few of my favourite pieces would be: Clair de Lune, Nocturne Op. 9 No.2, Devil's Trill Sonata, Danse Macabre, Valse Sentimentale, Symphony No. 7 in A Major, Op. 92: II. Alegreto (by Beethoven) and Suite from Swan Lake, Op. 20a: I. Scene. Moderato. There are more but these ones always invoke something in me when I listen to them. Besides Classical I also enjoy listening to Synthwave, old Western pop and J-pop, both modern and from the 20th century.
Esotericism. I am interested in things spiritual, mystical, magical and esoteric. I have read religios texts, magical grimoires, introductions to various schools of thought. It is interesting to me.
Epilogue
Hopefully I was able to cast the spotlight upon my inner World in a clear and unequivocal manner. I feel the need to add to the aforementioned that I am rather introverted, which means that I tend to dislike large social gatherings. I managed to condition myself to be able to endure the presense of large groups of people but it isn't something that I would seek out in most cases. Besides that I am neurodivergent and suffer from certain issues with mental health. I have to take medication to keep myself under control. They work well enough but certain days are harder than others. I respect the struggle that others have with mental health but in the context of a relationship I have my limits, no one with BDP for instance. I am also not looking for anything casual. I understand than one cannot demand depth and meaning from a conversation with an absolute stranger, that is akin to trying to build a sand castle right before the waves strike but I ask at least that you enter with a mindset that this might become something of significance. I also do want to say that I am completely Monogamous. My preference? The sickly, pale, intellectual who watches rain droplets slide down the window in Autumn. And...someone wholesome, if you get my meaning. Lastly, if I enjoy the company of a person I tend to not want to let them go.

The way publishers are approaching generative AI is changing as the media industry evolves its outlook on the technologies of the future. Questions had initially centered around how it would impact their workforce or operations, as well as how they could benefit from, or be harmed by, the new developments. Some of those answers are now becoming apparent in many parts of the publishing space, ranging from movies and music to online content and the printed word.
Backdrop: In the early innings of the AI revolution, firms banded together to stave off any threats to their bottom line. Hollywood actors and writers went on strike in part over fear that they might lose or share revenue with machines, while news and media companies started talks to establish a united front against Big Tech over "content scraping" and training their AI models on data produced by their organizations. It now looks like each industry and company will reach separate deals with internet giants that wield tremendous power over distribution and visibility.
Microsoft (MSFT)-backed OpenAI just signed a major content licensing deal with News Corp. (NWSA), which could be worth more than $250M over five years, sending shares of the latter up 7% in premarket trading. That'll give OpenAI access to The Wall Street Journal, Barron's and MarketWatch, and follows similar deals with The Financial Times and Axel Springer - the parent company of Business Insider and other publications. Stronger protections Looking to bring more oversight to the fast-growing space, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has issued an interpretive rule that will treat "buy now, pay later" lenders essentially the same as credit card issuers. We are both been doing everything we can think of to make up the extra money but we are still short. I also have another huge bill coming. I'm not mad at them, they are in a really fucked situation and have always paid things on time. Just so mad at how rent works.
We've already looked into resources in our area and we have food but just not enough cash. And nobody is willing to give cash in our small town (very conservative, bootstrappy shaming type place, despite the fact most of us are poor).
I'm also frustrated because I went back to school and I literally make less now than I did before school and rent just keeps going up. But somehow I'm still not eligible for any aid.
Also I'm having to go without my expensive medication that helps my depression from living in this shithole. Which is making me perform worse when it comes to work. But I can't pay for medication if I don't have a roof over my head so...

So I am studying in abroad. Currently in my second year of university studying Medical Science; one day hoping to become a Doctor. I’m not from a very rich family but we managed so far with the help of my family and friends, I’ve come this far. My studies are going good but the competition is high and haven’t got any scholarships so far, however the university is considered to be quite prestigious.
Recently there have been some problems and a lot of drama in my family and rn I’m unable to pay for my Uni fees which is quite expensive. I’m completely at a loss on what to do. My university will unenroll me if I do not pay soon and it will create issues with my student visa and I might get deported. If this happens, I will be a huge disgrace to my family. My parents are stressing over this more than me so I’m also worried something bad would happen to my dad as he has both diabetes and high blood pressure. I have no clue on what to do, and stay in my bed all day. My university has also issued me warnings on paying my fees and I can’t keep up with this struggle anymore. I just wanna escape this and idk if I might do something bad. Any advise is highly appreciated.

1. Rent

FRANCE PMI:

• Manufacturing stronger than expected, 46.7 vs 45.8 expected
• Services weaker, slipped into contraction at 49.4 vs 51.7 expected.
• SO MIXED PMIS here.

GERMANY PMI:

• Manufacturing PMI came stronger than expected, 45.4 vs 43.1
• Services PMI stronger than expected 53.9
• So better than expected for Germany

EUROZONE PMI:

• Manufacturing PMI was 47.4 vs 46.2 expected
• Services PMI was 53.3 vs 53.5 expected
• So stronger than expected PMI, particularly in manufacturing

UK PMI:

• Services 52.9 vs 54.7 expected. So still in expansion but missed the mark for services
• Manufacturing better than expected, in expansion.
• WHAT WE SAW ACROSS EUROPE WAS A SIMPLE CASE WHERE SERVICES PMI MISSED A BIT, MANUFACTURING PMI BEAT.

US PMI
JOBLESS CLAIMS TO COME
HAWKISH FED MINUTES - OUTLINE OF YESTERDAYS MINUTES:

• Many participants were uncertain about the degree of policy restrictiveness.
• Various members are willing to tighten more if needed (if risks materialise)
• Disappointing inflation readings in Q1.
• Some said high rates are having a smaller effect than previously
• Some expressed worry about financial conditions being too loose.
• OVERALL, V HAWKISH MINUTES.

MARKETS:

• SPX: after FOMC minutes, it dropped to 5287, but then closed at 5307, above the 5300 level. WIth NVDA earnings pump, now moved up to 5345.
• Nasdaq: After FOMC fell to 18,600 before closing at 18,700. After NVDA earnings, we see pump to 18,899.
• DOW: Trading flat at 39,720. Less exposure to NVDA.
• TECH HEAVY ETFs moving more.
• GER40: Fell yesterday, to 18,600 level. Pushed lower with FOMC minutes. Pushing higher today as US markets up on NVDA earnings, up to 18,720.
• UK100: Dropped to 8330 yesterday, flat, slightly higher today.
• HKG50: below 19k. Trading at 18,920, after falling to 18800. On HKG50 earnings.
• Oil: Moved lwoer last couple days to 77 level, on higher dollar after FOMC minutes. Moving higher today though, back to 78.1 as dollar retreats
• GOLD: Slightly lower again today, trading at 2,367. Below the 2,400 level. Dropped to near 2350 earlier.

EARNINGS:
NVDA

• Firstly, Stock Split 10:1 which is bullish for sure, and is most of the reason they are higher.
• Their earnings continue to show strong growth, as you can see below.
• Only things to consider is the beat in the revenue guidance was just 4%,which is less than previous quarters. Gross margin was also a bit weak in the guidance.
• IT was actually down on this quarter.
• Gross margin this quarter was 79%, they guided for 75.5%
• Thats a bit disappointing tbh, in context of how high the expectations are for NVDA.
• Investors could focus on that and we can see pare some gains.
• Otherwise good earnings.
• Commentary on earnings call was bullish.
• Current Quarter:
• Revenue 26B beat by 5%
• EPS of 6.12 beat estimates by 8.3%
• If we break down their Revenue:
• Data center revenue was a beat by 7.6%
• Gaming revenue was a beat by 1.2%
• Prof Visualisation revenue was a miss by 10%

• Contrary to recent reports, said that they are seeing INCREASING demand for Hopper chips despite release of Blackwell. Said demand will exceed supply for a few quarters.
• Said next industrial revolution has begun. Companies and countries are partnering with NVDA to shift data centres to accelerated computing and AI factories.
• Said data center compute revenue beating was a result of higher shipments of NVDA Hopper GPU used for training and inferencing.
• Said, after BlackWEll, there is another chip. We are on a 1 year rhythm.
• Said they are all in on ethernet and have a really exciting road map coming for ethernet. Dell have already announced they are taking NVDAs ethernet technology to market.

• AMZN plans AI overhaul and subscription fee for Alexa. Planning to upgrade Alexa voice assist with generative AI and introduce a monthly subscription fee, separate from prime membership, according to sources.
• Enhanced Alexa will compete with advanced AI chatbots from google and openAi.
• TSLA - has reportedly asked suppliers to begin building components outside of mainland china and Taiwan by next year due to rising geopolitical uncertainty
• TSLA - breaks ground on 200M Shanghai mega factory
• MSFT - OPenAI strikes multi year deal with newsCorp for Access to content. NewsCorp is parent of WSJ.

OTHER COMPANIES:

• NVDA pumping on earnings This is dragging Dell, SMCI, VRT and other Semis all higher, including AEIS, ASML, MU, ARM etc.
• SOUN higher too on affiliation to NVDA
• All AI names basically higher.
• Chinese stocks lower on HKG market being red.
• Yesterday, Solar stocks ripped on news that China’s main solar industry body called for an end of price war.
• BA - plane deliveries to China been delayed in recent weeks due to Chinese review of batteries used in cockpit voice recorder.
• TSMC reiterates its forecast of 10% annual sales growth in semiconductor industry, excluding memory chips. Said it is a new golden age of opportunity with AI.
• LYV - US justice department and several states will sue Live Nation for antitrust violations related to Ticketmaster. Seeking to break up Live nation and Ticketmaster.
• JNJ faces lawsuit over talc related bankruptcy filings.

• Manufacturing stronger than expected, 46.7 vs 45.8 expected

• SO MIXED PMIS here.

GERMANY PMI:

• Manufacturing PMI came stronger than expected, 45.4 vs 43.1
• Services PMI stronger than expected 53.9
• So better than expected for Germany

EUROZONE PMI:

• Manufacturing PMI was 47.4 vs 46.2 expected
• Services PMI was 53.3 vs 53.5 expected
• So stronger than expected PMI, particularly in manufacturing

UK PMI:

• Services 52.9 vs 54.7 expected. So still in expansion but missed the mark for services
• Manufacturing better than expected, in expansion.
• WHAT WE SAW ACROSS EUROPE WAS A SIMPLE CASE WHERE SERVICES PMI MISSED A BIT, MANUFACTURING PMI BEAT.

JOBLESS CLAIMS TO COME
HAWKISH FED MINUTES - OUTLINE OF YESTERDAYS MINUTES:

• Many participants were uncertain about the degree of policy restrictiveness.
• Various members are willing to tighten more if needed (if risks materialise)
• Disappointing inflation readings in Q1.
• Some said high rates are having a smaller effect than previously
• Some expressed worry about financial conditions being too loose.
• OVERALL, V HAWKISH MINUTES.

MARKETS:

• SPX: after FOMC minutes, it dropped to 5287, but then closed at 5307, above the 5300 level. WIth NVDA earnings pump, now moved up to 5345.
• Nasdaq: After FOMC fell to 18,600 before closing at 18,700. After NVDA earnings, we see pump to 18,899.
• DOW: Trading flat at 39,720. Less exposure to NVDA.
• TECH HEAVY ETFs moving more.
• GER40: Fell yesterday, to 18,600 level. Pushed lower with FOMC minutes. Pushing higher today as US markets up on NVDA earnings, up to 18,720.
• UK100: Dropped to 8330 yesterday, flat, slightly higher today.
• HKG50: below 19k. Trading at 18,920, after falling to 18800. On HKG50 earnings.
• Oil: Moved lwoer last couple days to 77 level, on higher dollar after FOMC minutes. Moving higher today though, back to 78.1 as dollar retreats
• GOLD: Slightly lower again today, trading at 2,367. Below the 2,400 level. Dropped to near 2350 earlier.

EARNINGS:
NVDA

• Firstly, Stock Split 10:1 which is bullish for sure, and is most of the reason they are higher.
• Their earnings continue to show strong growth, as you can see below.
• Only things to consider is the beat in the revenue guidance was just 4%,which is less than previous quarters. Gross margin was also a bit weak in the guidance.
• IT was actually down on this quarter.
• Gross margin this quarter was 79%, they guided for 75.5%
• Thats a bit disappointing tbh, in context of how high the expectations are for NVDA.
• Investors could focus on that and we can see pare some gains.
• Otherwise good earnings.
• Commentary on earnings call was bullish.

• Revenue 26B beat by 5%
• EPS of 6.12 beat estimates by 8.3%

Essentially, I live alone in a studio flat. I am new to housing in the UK (international student) and was completely unaware that I had to submit meter readings every month. In any case, I paid the bills I was sent in the mail by E-ON (I did not know that they were only estimated bills). I have paid £480 over the last 8 months (which I now think is somewhat absurd as well).
Last month, I received a catch-up bill for £357.98 worth of electricity usage, which indicates that my total electrical usage was worth £800 from 8 months of usage. One important factor is that I was out of London for all of December and April, and had switched off most electrical appliances (all except my fridge). During the time I am in London, I do not use that much electricity but I can see how my usage would be slightly higher than average (I use a desktop computer). Somehow, my meter readings suggest that I used the same amount of electricity in 6 months as a 2-3 bedroom flat would use in a year!
I have taken meter readings on the 20th and 21st, which indicates that I used 13 kWh of electricity in a single day. However, I intentionally minimised my electrical usage that day (lights turned on very late at night, main appliance used was my computer only). According to sources online, the average electrical usage for a 1 room flat would be around 5 kWh. My meter readings would imply that I somehow used more than double the average usage.
I emailed E-ON saying that I believed my meter was faulty and that my readings were completely abnormal. However, they have not helped much and merely repeated that my previous bills were estimated and that the meter readings created a catch-up bill. Additionally, they stated that it was £100 to do a meter test. I have told them that I am officially complaining and that I will raise a dispute with the energy ombudsman in 8 weeks time if not resolved.
However, I am still quite anxious as I am a student and £357.98 is a large deal of money to me. Furthermore, the abnormal electrical bills continue to accumulate as they take time to get back to me. Due to this, my total debt is -£461.29 currently. What can I do about this?
UPDATE: I use a gas Logic Combi 24 heater and have been paying gas bills at the same time. I was actually overcharged for my estimated gas bills.
