Hi,
I pre ordered DT from the official EU square enix store (standard/windows) and it's been 24h that the order is in status "awaiting fulfillment".
I don't understand how that can be since it's just a ... Digital product? Like it's just a key/code, there's no shipping whatsoever that needs to be happening? What am I waiting for exactly?
I received an order confirmation mail and I can see the money off my bank account, but I didn't received anything else, nor is there a code in said mail. It's just payment details stuff.
I would maybe understand if I ordered the release day (and even then, it's a shame to wait more than an hour for a CODE in 2024 but anyway), but it's been a full day and I don't think a lot of people ordered DT on a random Monday a month before early access now?
I understand a lot of people had issues a while ago when it was announced, but I didn't think these issues were still ongoing? Did anyone had the same issues recently?

I have a pair of Nexus 93108TC-FX3P (10.3.5M) configured with VPC. VPC works fine, but I am having issues creating a basic trunk from the Nexus to a C9500-12q (16.12.4). Ethernet 1/49 from the Nexus2 is linked to Forty1/0/1 on the Cat. When I plug in the QSFP-H40G-CUXM, link light goes from amber to dead on the Nexus and I get no link or action on the Cat. Both devices see the optic, but I can't get link. I can get link with the same cable between Nexus 1 and 2 or if I loop the connection on the Cat 9500. What am I missing to get link between these 2?

Need help replacing a dimmer
I’ve been trying to replace this dimmer but I can’t get it to work. It feels really silly to ask but can someone help me match the symbols?
The current dimmer has 2 cables to L⬆️ and one cable to “swiggle”-s down (I’m guessing AC?)
The new dimmer has 5 ports. 2 Live Input 1 Load output 1 Push switch 1 Neutral
2 of the cables are brown, and one white. Unfortunately their colonies doesn’t seem to match how they’re connected either (previous owner built this)
I’ve tried a number of combinations but I just can’t get the new one to work. Does anyone know how I should connect them?

I have two tables in separate worksheets. Table 1 is "Orders Received" which is a list of orders from customers. Table 2 is "Orders Placed" which is partially generated from Table 1 and is a list of orders placed with our manufacturers.
This works great, the issue is that Table 2 (Orders placed), has some manually entered data ("Qty", "Order Complete?" (dropdown), "Date Ordered" and finally "PO#") and when sorting Table 2 the manually entered rows randomly become misaligned from their original rows which is a huge problem.
I tried to resolve this issue by using macros to clear all filters, sort by an index and then update the data from Table 1 to Table 2.

I am a total VBA noob, so the issue could easily be in this code, but can anyone help me figure out why when data is entered in Table 1 (Orders Received) and then the date is refreshed in table 2 using the above macro, there is garbage data appearing in the manually entered fields of Table 2? Maybe my entire approach needs to be re-thought but I am out of ideas.
I can't share the exact workbook because there is some sensitive data, but I could probably scrub it if that would help.

Those brands are the company's single biggest asset, with an estimated dollar value, to my understanding, of $10.5 billion. As anyone in retail knows, brand is everything. It is by far the biggest determinant of long-term success, which is why Loblaws invests so much in its marketing program to make us feel good about shopping there.
This boycott effort has had a real impact on the brand. Just to give you a small example, I was discussing grocery prices with a mechanic a few days ago. As soon as I mentioned Loblaws (not in a negative way), his immediate response was, "oh they are the worst when it comes to food inflation." That is exactly the kind of top-of-mind association that Loblaws works extremely hard NOT to hear. They want people to think of high quality, good selection, enticing product line, a positive in-store experience etc. when they think Loblaws. But the other narrative -- the one about corporate greed and anti-competitive practices -- is taking up more and more space in their brand image, and this boycott deserves a lot of credit for that.
To me, the boycott is not about hurting the company. Loblaws is an important player in groceries and has the power to do a lot of good. I think the goal is about changing their attitudes/culture and creating a set of circumstances that motivates them to be a better corporate citizen. We need them to realize that making societal good a key criteria of their business planning is a cornerstone of long-term success. They need to get behind that idea with enthusiasm, and to champion it with their investors.
It's hard to budge a big, powerful corporation. I think brand is the soft spot in their armor, though based on some of their decisions of late, I don't think they realize this yet. It is in the nature of big, successful companies to begin to believe that their brand is impervious, and to believe they can do anything and still look golden to the marketplace. But eventually, as brand shifts due to efforts like this one, there will be a wake-up call. That's why I think as we consider next steps, we should evaluate everything for its impact on brand, and select the strategies that have the most likelihood of greatest impact. Just some thoughts.

Conor Murphy is not only the first republican to serve as Economy Minister – he’s the first non-DUP MLA to hold the role since 2007.
So, will a substantially different overarching political ideology shape his approach to arguably one of the Executive’s most powerful departments?
“I’m part of a political party which wants to see a united Ireland. I want to see the economy grow here – I want to see east/west trade and north/south flourish. That’s my primary job in the department.
“The all-Ireland has been growing organically… on the southern side you have one of the fastest growing economies in Europe, and we are hooked to an economy [the UK] in which we don’t have the levers in which we need to fundamentally change our economy, and economy entering recession and one which has turned its back on Europe and international relations. There’s no sense that Labour is going to do anything radically different [if elected into government].”
Mr Murphy, who stepped aside from his role for a time due to health reasons, is clear that he believes Northern Ireland would benefit, not only politically, but economically, as a united Ireland.
“I do think we would be better in a united Ireland – a better economy in a united Ireland as well and there would be more opportunities,” he said.
In terms of his own approach, he’s set out a four-pillar economic strategy, looking at “good” jobs, tackling regional imbalance, productivity, and eyeing net zero.
“We spent the last two years talking to businesses, talking to Invest NI, enterprise agencies and those with an interest, and tourism, further and higher education – to get a sense where the department wasn’t delivering. It has been very well received.”
On corporation tax, something which was devolved to the Executive but appears to no longer be a focus, Mr Murphy said the shortfall in cash as a result of cutting the rate regionally is not viable, and the “Executive should begin a discussion with the British Government, including what to do with corporation tax”.
“The difficulty was the way the Treasury wanted to deal with it. They would calculate what they thought you might benefit from it, they would take that from the block grant and therefore you were flying blind to try and get the benefit back of more investment.
“That’s almost like a punt in the dark just to see if you’ll get the return. That was difficult in 2014 when we originally negotiated it. With the state of our public finances 10 years later, that’s even more difficult.”
Invest NI has been under fire in the last year or so following a critical report, requiring improvements in leadership, operations and public accountability.
Mr Murphy said the process for a “structural and cultural change” is “under way”.
He said there will not be a focus on just job numbers, but the quality of roles, for both FDI and local firms.
“If someone is coming in and looking money off Invest NI, it’s going to be how they meet those strategic priorities around good jobs, productivity, regional imbalance and net zero. That’s the judgement.
“It’s not just who is going to provide jobs. The report suggested very radical reform within the current organisation. They suggested a structural and cultural change, and that process is under way.
“[What I have outlined] has given Invest NI a strategic focus… this was about a strategic focus at an organisation which is to do what it’s supposed to, which is to provide economic support to businesses. It’s not just about FDI, and that was one of the criticisms.
“Invest are following [those new priorities] and aren’t in the space about subsidising any job… they are incentivising people to go into other regions if they can.”
And he said he hoped Invest NI would now put more of a focus on its regional offices.
Mr Murphy says it’s about “good jobs”. This is one of his economic vision’s four pillars, and he’s drafted in economist Dr Lisa Wilson of the Nevin Economic Research Institute (NERI) to help define what that actually means.
“Far too many jobs here are low paid – very poor terms and conditions,” he said.
“Primarily, they fall to women, young people, people with disabilities who find themselves in these roles with no job security. We are going to try and lift that.”
Regional imbalance has been a particularly important talking point regarding job creation here over the last few years, especially given the concentration of foreign direct investors opting for Belfast, over Derry or other locations.
And while the north west is largely in focus, Mr Murphy said a host of border areas, and places like the Causeway Coast, have also been impacted by a lack of economic activity.
He said it’s about letting regional Invest NI offices to work with councils, chambers and other agencies, and work out what needs to be done at a local level.
“It’s to get that sense of real local power,” he said. “All of the border areas will have suffered from that lack of investment and lack of infrastructure investment, which leads to a lack of investment in terms of jobs.
“[It’s] the lowest paid jobs, the most economic inactivity is in places like the north west and also places like the Causeway Coast & Glens, and places like Fermanagh, and south Armagh. You find differentials even within the city of Belfast.
“In broad terms it’s about ensuring that commitment to regional balance is followed through. It’s about enabling the local and regional offices of Invest NI to work closely with local economic players.
“Policy tends to be handed down from Belfast – ‘here’s what we are going to do for you’. We want to turn that around so that people in the area are actually deciding that this is what they see as a key economic initiative which could actually turn the dial.”
He says the Windsor Framework remains “the best that could have come out of Brexit”.
“[Brexit] is still going to create problems – access to labour, issues which could impact tourism,” he said.
“There are a lot of challenges still there. But in terms of trading the Windsor Framework provides us an opportunity to both access the European and British markets, and that gives us an advantage.”
Mr Murphy said Invest NI is now examining which sectors “would benefit the most from dual access, so we would know how to focus”.
The hospitality sector has been crying out for assistance, ideally cutting back VAT – although that’s something which would have to be done through Westminster – or receiving some sort of package. Mr Murphy said “the idea of financial supports is challenging”.
“The idea of financial supports is challenging because of the way budgets are. I think what this department’s responsibility is creating the conditions where the economy is growing but we also get more visitors.”
Turning to foreign direct investment, Mr Murphy – who, following a trip to Washington DC said there is strong interest in NI among US investors – said: “Invest NI is working away constantly. We met people out there [in Washington] who were interested in coming, and those who are here who may be interested in growing. These things don’t happen overnight.”
On the recent budget, Mr Murphy said “the British Government has accepted we have we have been underfunded”.
“There was some extra cash,” he said. “I’ve been in the seat as Finance Minister and understand how difficult it is to satisfy everybody.”
While net zero and decarbonisation remains one of his four pillars, there remain concerns that Northern Ireland is now well behind and slowing towards its 2030 targets and beyond, especially without sizeable wind and battery development.
Two wind farms were recently turned down for permission due, in part, to their visual impact.
Asked whether schemes could be prioritised or ‘green lanes’ created in a bid to speed up development, Mr Murphy said: “We have to keep working. If some of the problems we have, bottlenecks in the system, then we have to figure those out.
“… I’m not an expert in planning policy. Most of the sense that we have got is they don’t think policy itself is the problem, it’s the system and how to navigate around it and how to stop the bottlenecks. That should be the focus.”

Chinese gaming industry in general is not ready for the competition they face. At this point, miHoYo failed to compete every single genre, despite its hopes for the fourth Benghuai game to be released, proving too risky to continue its support without a major helper. Thus, the fourth project was immediately pulled plug, citing risky moves leading to financial failures and niche genre that will soon to be filled by other companies like Kuro or Tencent. After cancellation of 'Project Star Rail', players were furious about this. At the saddening announcement of 2024 that the company will cease to exist due to the unpaid wages of employees and the fact Benghuai 3rd could no longer go any forward, forcing miHoYo to cancel the second part of the game. It was a major blow for three key figures of the company.

Liu Wei went to Texas to live a successful life as a philanthropist. Cai Haoyu became the ever-rising arms dealer that connects with military highways related to Silk Road. Luo Yuhao became the infamous hitman of Mainland China that would kill numerous businessmen across the world.
Without talking about the story of the fourth Benghuai game (otherwise, it's too long), the definite proof of making the project using unproven genre and methods would put the game to potential greater risks. Worst case scenarios can obviously happen, and it's no worse than killing off the potential fourth Benghuai project.

So for a little background, I’ve been questioning things for a long time without many answers (amab), and I’m starting to really like the idea of nonbinary or trans femme. Everyone’s always assumed that I’m queer, but after deeply reflecting, gaslighting myself, and even making out with a man, I really just don’t think I have any romantic or sexual attraction to men. I’m still sort of split on this but to me it seems like most of what constitutes femininity (aside from the chauvinistic parts like subservience and the like) is really just humanity, the human condition less inhibited, a fuller spectrum of emotion. I don’t know how everyone doesn’t feel at least a little girly or resentful of gender if they’re being honest with themselves. Maybe that’s just me- it really could just be me now that I’m seeing how I put it.
I really enjoy and appreciate feminism, for a lot of reasons. I think it’s interesting. I think it’s the key to women’s, men’s, and queer liberation. I find so much fulfillment in improving. It makes me feel better about my friendships- most of which are with women. I think it allows my social interactions to be more authentic and productive. I know it’s important to be better at my job, better to my friends and family, and a more positive contributor to society.
I feel pretty validated in my efforts too. I know I haven’t only learned a lot, but grown in how I approach new understanding as well as my own shortcomings. My friends confide in me, share intimate struggles they have with SA and patriarchy, and ask me for advice.
No matter how much I learn, improve, and listen, I’ll never be able to speak from lived experience. My closest friends either know or suspect I’m questioning my identity, but I haven’t come out- not openly, not to myself, not as NB, not as a woman, not now, and maybe not ever. It’s not women’s responsibility to accept me. I think I have a deeply vested interest in feminism, but it’s not for me, not really. Is this imposter feeling just reflective of my own insecurity? I’m almost fully accepted as the most steadfast and invested of allies by the people I keep closest. How can I get over this need for validation that I can’t really put into words?
It’s easy (relatively at least) to dismiss TERFs and other blatantly exclusive feminists, but I can’t and wouldn’t want to look past the sincere, justifiable, and practical distrust some have of men invading their safe spaces. I might have some glaring blind spots that do mean I’m invading, taking up space, and distracting. This skepticism is also so necessary in a world of MRAs and bad-faith and self-centered men trolling these spaces.
Has anyone else dealt with this anxiety? Am I wrong? It might even be easier to be wrong, that way I have something unambiguous to work on.
