Black tea and green tea

What does the Shamama attar smell like? It’s hard to describe in one word. Maybe I should call it rich and complex? On the skin it smells spicy (check), dry herbaceous (check), resinous (check), earthy (check), mossy (check), woody (check), musky (check), with at first more pronounced saffron, dry tea, and patchouli nuances, and then, in its sillage, it has sandalwood and oud nuances.

If I schedule an order for 2 weeks from now with a certain pick-up time, when do employees actually get the order to prepare? Is it like some places that only get it 5-10 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time, or can y'all see it earlier?
I ask because I need to order a Bagel pack, 2 Baked Goods Feasts and 2 or 3 of the half gallon lemonades/teas. I'm not sure if I should just schedule a future pick-up order or go the catering route. The catering equivalent costs about $30 more but I also don't want to place a regular order and have workers overwhelmed. Any feedback is appreciate.

I'm looking for a tea that I can buy from Amazon that will take my tea experience to the next level.
So far I've been drinking gunpowder green tea which cost 15 dollars but am looking for higher and better quality.

I feel like I'm in a bit of a pickle. Long time coffee drinker, got a concussion with vestibular migraine just under a week ago. I've had coffee once since, and it made me really dizzy. Yesterday I had an orange pekoe tea, and had the same effects, not as bad as coffee though.
But I've been a consistent coffee drinker for so long that it helps me go to the bathroom. The days that I haven't drank caffeine, I haven't been able to go... so I get left with the choice of dizziness or constipation. I eat a good diet, get lots of fibre, it's just such a part of my morning routine that my body has no idea what to do without my coffee. I don't drink milk, I use an oat milk creamer. And it's only one cup in the morning.
I know I'm pretty fresh with this concussion, but it's not my first one. I'd never had such crazy vestibular issues before, nor caffeine intolerance. I'll wait until next week to see how it goes. I cannot see a life without caffeine, though. I guess I could try decaf coffee... it's just not the same. What do?

I think this is a timely topic which we could talk about. When I was younger, I remember my grandmother always reaching for her homemade ginger tea whenever I had a sore throat or felt under the weather. She would boil fresh ginger with a bit of honey and lemon, and trust me it works really well and always made me feel better.
Another remedy she swore by was a turmeric paste applied to minor cuts and bruises, which seemed to speed up the healing process. Even now I use this remedy and it works for pets also. These remedies, passed down through generations, not only provided physical relief but also comforted me with the love and care they represented. I'm curious to learn about the traditional remedies and self-care practices your family uses. I'm all into hearing your experiences!

My wife and I play a lot of different games and ran out of fun stuff to play together. We’re more into Survival, Story Games, Horror, Open World, FPS, and stuff similar. We enjoy games such as Terraria (with and without mods), Minecraft, Stranded Deep, Dying Light 1 & 2, GTA, Rdr2, The Forest/Sons of the Forest, Green Hell, Call of Duty, It Takes Two, Roblox, Fall Guys, Halo, The Outlast Trials, Watch Dogs 1 & 2, Ready or Not, Far Cry 4 & 5 & 6, Naruto, Gang Beasts, Portal 1 & 2, etc.
We also enjoy indie games such as Lunch Lady, Boo men, Inside the Backrooms, Escape the Backrooms, Stick Fight, Split Gate, One armed robber, etc.
We’ve replayed all of them and more to the point it just feels repetitive lol, Call of Duty has been our go to since it’s one of the only games meant to be repetitive with different modes. Lately we’ve been playing Single Player games but I want to play games together.
I’ve been recommended games like Deep Rock Galactic, Valhiem, and Astroneer but those don’t really seem like our style (Valhiem seems fun but people say its boring and the graphics make it not fun but idk), we also dont enjoy mmorpg games such as League of Legends, Diablo, or anything like that (no hate just not our cup of tea).
I’ve wanted to get the new Dead Island or Elden Ring but don’t wanna throw that much on two games at the moment, although games on the expensive side can be recommended for the future.
Any recommendations???

Pricing - I updated below. Much of my collection is very hard to find one of kind stuff that is highly sought after. No random pollen chucking, true bred stabilized genomes. There’s a lot of history in that list as well if you’re someone who understands the genomics of the plant. You’ll see breeder, where they’re out of, the strain name, the cross and a little bit of history / description on some of it. Some very very special stuff. Pricing is either what I paid for it or a little more if it’s something special that’s not easy to find or not being bred anymore.
*Each strain is in original packaging stored in a curidor at a steady 52 degrees, no light, no humidity. I find this is the best way to store beans for long term storage and guaranteed high germination rates. I usually get 97-100% germ rate with my germination method which I will include on a printed out sheet for anyone who grabs any of my offerings. I want you to succeed and find something special - I cherish my collection and sad to see a lot of it go but you gotta do what you gotta do. I’d really like to see this stuff go to growers who care about the plant and preserving the uniqueness to it for years to come. Hope all of this helps

These seeds were shared with legendary grower Bodhi, who found one male and used it to pollinate a cut of “Cuban Black Haze” that he had. The strain was referred to as “Piff” and the seeds were shared almost exclusively with Doc D. After running the seeds, Doc selected “Piff #7” and shared the cut back with Bodhi who further worked the line. The cut was a significantly better long flowering haze variety with a shorter flowering time than the Cuban Black Haze mother or A5 father. I was in a good habit of cleaning my hands before every reading, but I was lazy today and cut up an apple, then immediately did a reading. It was 167, then I did a different finger and it was 210, then 121. Then I washed my hands and I got my normal 79. I was so confused because I had such a good breakfast (cottage cheese and strawberries with tea with whole milk). I looked it up and fruit residue can skew your results!! This may be seem dumb to some people, but thought I’d share! Haha. I’m new to this!!

25F, 164cm, have been intermittent fasting all my adult life without even knowing it. In my teens and early 20's I was always stable around 55 kgs/121 lbs and even dropped to 51 kgs/112 lbs for a good while. But in the last 3-4 years, I put on almost 30 lbs and the other day weighed 68 kgs/almost 150 lbs.
Many reasons for the gain: moving from a standing all day retail job to 9-5 desk jobs, being inconsistent with working out, treating myself to unhealthy food too much. Due to my body type, my visceral fat has always been low but I store a lot of fat in my thighs and now my arms and back too. I hate how I look right now, almost never take pictures of myself, and am fed up of not having enough discipline with my habits. In the summer, I have been exclusively wearing midi skirts in public for a few years because of how my thighs look. I don't want to limit myself like this.
So I have now successfully done 72 hours extended fasts 2 times. I drink black coffee, green tea, water with electrolytes, soda water with black salt (diff to pink salt, it hits different trust me). Have found it quite easy tbh! My weighing machine (Eufy) says I dropped 1 kg and my visceral fat count went from 7% to 6% (but like I said this has always been in the healthy range for me). My subcutaneous fat went down very slightly, but I still have 36% overall body fat according to these weights (it may not be 100% accurate but this is still very high and in the obese range for women even though I don't 'look' obese and my BMI is now standard). Looking forward to do more of these fasts.
I do have a bunch of holidays planned (i.e. vacations for those not from the UK) and don't want to restrict myself too much. I will eat the local cuisine and stay away from fast food, but not say no to the occasional pastry or ice-cream. But I will limit alcohol, only trying local beers/wine/liquors once for the experience rather than going all out. And when I'm back home and have a dinner or event planned, I won't say no and try to just order healthy. I don't have it in me to completely dial down my social life haha. But I will limit alcohol again when out with friends. And then just keep doing 48s or 72s when I can, at least once a week, maybe even go longer if I'm doing nothing for a few days.
My end goal is to reach 55 kgs/121 lbs again by end of September (4 months) just in time for my birthday in early October. And especially to bring my body fat down to 25%-ish. Although this is my main reason as I'm otherwise healthy, the autophagy benefits are also a huge draw and I hope it helps keep me healthy in the long-run. It would be a good start to year 26 on this earth knowing I can push myself to do uncomfortable things when needed and get to where I want. I can make change happen. I hope it can happen. Sharing to keep myself accountable :)

I’ve always been a super light sleeper, super reactive to sounds around me but in that same retrospect, I’ve always been a super vivid dreamer and reactive to stress, having sleep paralysis and looping dreams on multiple occasions. (You can skip to the bold part cause the first part was mainly regular dream turned intense, if you’re uninterested)
The dream I just had was like me and my sister going out to run an errand at like 11:30pm and going with the kids I’m babysitting cause it was on their list of errands cause we should’ve done it earlier but forgot so we go out and I’m looking around for a place to get a drink cause most of the shops are closed this late and I tell the kids to go ahead to the place we’re going for our errand cause I’ll be there real fast while I’m getting this soda from the Chinese spot and I have some cash on me.
I go up to the guy and ask how much are the soda and he’s like 1.25 USD so I’m like okay cool let me get 4 cause I had four quarters and some singles and I pick mine (a coke, 2 sprite and an orange) and I’m giving him the money and bro starts laughing cause my cash is counterfeit and he thinks I think he’s stupid and I’m like O.O cause I had no idea it was counterfeit and try looking at my others bills (mind you I had like 27 dollars on me, and turns out all of it is counterfeit and I start freaking out
The boss comes up like what’s the issues, and I’m like I didn’t know this was fake my mom gave me some of these and he starts feeling bad and I’m like I’m gonna go get the bills from my sister cause she’s literally at the bank rn, and he’s like okay I’ll hold it and give you an extra sweet tea- and I rush over to where the kids I’m babysitting and my sister and my male friend I didn’t realize was there is at (I don’t have male friends- this was like some sort of faceless look a like to someone I knew in hs)
I’m like can I get some singles, I’ll give it back when I can (I knew my quarters were good but I needs cash) and my male friend is like I have the perfect thing and pulls out this super old 5 dollar bill cause it’s superrrr old cause it’s from the first time he went to the bank and put money away and for some reason even tho it was senstimental he was okay with it and we quickly go tg to get my sodas and he’s about to pay but the worker guy thinks it’s a joke cause it’s an old dollar and looks fake cause it’s an old print with no boarders and I’m like “it’s real!! We just got it from over there!!” And he’s like whatever this is where it’s confusing and stressing me out
We leave before the boss man returns but things get kind of crazy when boss starts chasing us down to get the dollar cause it’s worth thousands apparently??? And he wants to get us but I’m scared and whatever and at some point I end up in a big body of water and I’m panicking and having dual visuals of me stuck in bed so I’m like “open your eyes. Wake up.” While making a little noises from my body there like my usually humming or something and unlike usually, I open my eyes from that dream easily and end up in a room where all the floor is wet and cold and my head hurts cause I’m tired from that dream where I was being chased and I just woke up from it but I’m still asleep cause it’s a dream in a dream.
Mind you, It was like super bright where I woke up btw, like in the dream where the floor was wet/stained, it was like a dream equivalent to where squidward was when he saw the future but I didn’t see my reflection anywhere.
I walk through the floor thinking about how I’m gonna clean it cause I think it’s a mess from the ac leaking, and I go to find my mom to tell her about that dream but I keep like zapping back to the bed and looking at the water and it’s cold and I end up waking up pretty soon after just crouching down and looking at the floor and realizing it’s not water on the floor but it is stained and looks like it was wet and dried out which is more annoying to clean and mop.
But yeah I woke up and forgot the details for a while but just went to the bathroom and turned my ac to fan mode and typed it out.
I can give more context in my home situation if anyone is interested, but I’m super interested in any interpretations!! <3

Hello Mamas! Great job for doing your best! I am exclusively pumping and my baby thankfully is well nourished. He drinks breast milk all around but I also give him a formula once a day just so that he has a taste of it in case of an emergency. My baby tends to be on the gassy side ever he was born, not colic but does get uncomfortable and gassy at times. We do bicycle kicks almost everyday and when he was first born I used to give him mylicon which used to help but then I felt it didn't do the job to the fullest. An old remedy is what helped him so much and I could tell how relieved he is and doesn't have problems. I would mix one tsp of cumin, 1 tea spoon of anise, one cardmom piece, and put in boiling water. I would only give him 2 mL and his stomach would be fine and he was passing gas regularly. I wanted to share inncase you are desperate because I was at one point and it was a relief! Another thing is that probiotic drops! Mommys bliss ones absolutely messed up his stomach but Gerber Good start worked well (can't find it anymore) so I went with Bagaia now and it's the same ingredient which are helping him. Because of Mommys Bliss drops I do believe he got constipated and his stomach was so upset and he didn't have a bowel movement for 3 days which I know is ok up to a week but he was very uncomfortable and fussy and I wanted to help him so prune juice did the job very well same day after like an hour he did poop!! He was back to smiling and laughing with no grunts. He is 2.5 months old and I gave him an ounce in his bottle!

I (26F) took shrooms during a creative day out and now my friend (25F) is angry with me.
Here’s the context:
We are both artists and help each other out with creative projects. She, (let’s call her Marianne), invited a few friends to help her out for a photoshoot to get shots for her portfolio. Most of her friends are from a hippy community local to where we live. I’m not formally part of this community, I’ll hang out with them socially but I see myself as an individual, especially creatively, and some of the group dynamics don’t sit very well with me.
Marianne’s photoshoot took place on a small island which is only accessible when tides are low. There was a group of seven of us. It took a lot of effort for all of us to get out there on time (before the island became inaccessible), everyone brought food/drink/spare props for Marianne.
I had decided I wanted to take some mushrooms a while before. I was going to be alone in my flat for a couple of days and wanted to make the most of the isolation. I do psychedelics fairly often, and have done shrooms at least 5 times. Im also a heavy weed smoker so find I am not very susceptible to psychedelics. The day had been described to me as a hippy day out of co-production and creativity. A perfect occasion to be a bit sparkly, I thought.
I brought 1g stewing with green tea to the island, and sipped on it throughout the day. At one point Marianne asks me for water. I explain that this is not water and get her some. She asks me what’s in the bottle, I tell her, and she is not happy.
The next day she messages to say she’s annoyed I brought drugs to the set. I say that I’m very sorry to hear this, explain my rationale, acknowledge I should have ran it past hedelayed the experience until after the photoshoot, and apologise. I say I can be contrary without realising, trying to acknowledge I do things other see as strange.
She responded with a voice message (15 minutes) explaining her feelings in greater depth, saying that I have jeopardised all of her creative relationships, the health and safety of everyone on the island that day, disrespected her practice. She mentioned another creative engagement we have coming up, (which is a professional, paid gig which I organised and am leading on). Marianne said that me doing shrooms worried her that if she brought in another friend then they would think I’d be high. I tried to explain that if that happened I
a) would think it unreasonable because there is a difference between a paid workshop with the general public and an excursion amongst hippies b) would hope Marianne would have my back and reassure the other friend that I would not be on shrooms AT A PAID PUBLIC EVENT WITH CHILDREN
She also said she generally felt let down on the day, none of her friends showed up enough for her. She was frustrated when she had to wait for people to smoke. Her bags weren’t packed when she wanted them to be, Etc. I felt this was very ungrateful as all of her friends showed up and did their best to support her. She had no risk assessment, schedule, plan to speak of.
We exchanged a few vm’s and then agreed to meet up in person to talk it through. The conversation went terribly. I hated to tell her, because I knew it would be hard to hear, but the entire day was unorganised, and it wasn’t a professional setting. I said if you’re holding your friends to these expectations without letting them know, you should have a risk assessment prepared etc.
Marianne was only interested in hearing an apology for the shrooms. She had said she was open to a dialogue, but every time I brought up the nuance of the situation, or my feelings, she would revert to saying her feelings are hurt and I’ve messed up and therefore it’s tactless and defensive of me to say anything else. She said she had broached being let down to other people who supported her on the day and they provided her with the response she needed.
Marianne is a very intelligent person. I think she is very used to intellectually dominating every conversation she is in. She’s an only child, and it shows that she has not had to do conflict resolution from a young age. I do not mind apologising, and I don’t mind acknowledging my faults (I have many), but it hurts when my voice is silenced, and my feelings aren’t heard.
My approach to conflict resolution is honesty to a fault. I don’t think this is perfect, and it is definitely not compatible with Marianne.
If I can clarify anything, let me know. If you’re confused, I am too.

Hi! I’m a tea noob but my favorite tea ever is oolong. My local boba shop sells Tieguanyin Oolong tea and it’s my new favorite type of oolong. I love the deep roast flavor that I don’t get with the everyday oolong. However, I’m stumped on what brands to buy to get the same roasty flavor at home. The one I’ve tried from my local shops (which admittedly specialize more in herbal blends) just does not live up to the taste profile I get from the boba shop, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a brand of Tieguanyin that will get me the strong roast flavor I want?
