So I got a message today on Facebook asking me if I wanted a job with Wayfair to sell goods online. I knew it was a scam but I wanted to see what their angle was.
As expected they re routed me from Facebook messenger to What’s App to speak to Bruce their hiring manager. I was given a number with a 213 area code.
I started talking to Bruce and was given the “particulars” about the job at Wayfair. I was told my job consisted of selling merchandise online and getting a commission based on my sales.
He then sent me a link to a fake Wayfair website -www.wayfairb.me- and told me to sign in using a username and password he gave me. I went to the community computer room in my building and used their public computer to visit the website.
I put in the info he gave me and working 30 minutes of getting the job offer I was “working”. He then told me there is a referral code where I can invite a friend and asked me to give him the code which I did. I did 26 “sales” on this fake website and I was told that my account was low on funds and I can use his (meaning Bruce) personal account to continue selling merchandise.
Bruce gave me his log in info with user name and I logged into his account and continued “working”. Eventually I got bored of the scammer and called him out.
I’m just wondering what type of scam is this? Were they trying to access my computer with this fake website? And was he trying to use the “codes” to establish a network between his computer and the one I was using?

I'm looking for a venue with some good loud music, but nothing too loud nor heavy rock. I'd also like to find some intercambios to practice Spanish. Not the usual bars meetups which are mostly a 3hr pissup with backpackers. Some nice places for menu de dias. Lastly an exchange for THB (Thai Baht) into euros which offers a good rate or if someone is heading to Thailand soon, i can offer a good rate on exchange. I've looked on meetup, website, facebook events - but found little except the usual cliche events. I'm interested in a day trip to Girona, and will be going to Espanyol and Barca games if anyone is interested. I'm a 41m from the UK. B1 level of Spanish. Thanks.

I bought this account last year December 14, 2023 with many skins and upgradeable guns for 30,000 PHP or 500 USD, I always log in this account everyday for the attendace check for the account,. but I only play it when i'm practicing TDMs or classics because i bought this as my second account, but after 3 months my credentials (twitter,gmails and number) was unlinked and somebody is now using my account and changed it's IGN. I'm serious about this and can provide that I bought that account to whoever staff can help me. Thank you :(

Hello 21yo this year looking to start long-term investing! Did some research on online brokerages in Singapore and which to use.
However, wanna hear from you guys on which broker y’all are using and why?
I’m pretty risk-averse in nature when it comes to comet that’s why I’m having trouble choosing a broker because down the road, I would envision having huge amounts of capital in the account.
My research has lead me to 2 different brokers that I would potentially use: Interactive Brokers SG & Tiger Brokers SG. (Just a tad bit worried when it comes to regulations and clientele protection)
I also read someone IBKR is better as it’s not backed by banks? Whereas Tiger Brokers custodian bank is DBS.
Which one should I stick with? And should I use one of them from the beginning then maybe create another account so my capital won’t all be in one place?
TLDR: What brokers are y’all using in Singapore and why? (In terms of security and maybe cost)
IBKR or Tiger Brokers for long term investing?

I mod oklahomagonewild. A verified user was banned, we believe, due to a glitch.
They have someone else's account pics and user profile showing under theirs. I have screenshots to show, but notnsure of protocol here.
India a form days ago but never heard back. User did a form but got a generic "you shared without consent" but the only pics They shared were them.
The glitch account showed up on our sub and it was banned.
This is very odd. Never seen it before and not sure how to help them.

Hi all! Today, I tried to access my Navy Federal app and it was locked by the bank. It told me to contact customer service. When I did, apparently yesterday someone called claiming to be from a company called Nighthawk asking if my bank account was positive. They had my full social security number and name. The bank would not give them any information. They froze me card the this afternoon as I was in line to purchase clothes for my kids. My cards are safe. Joke's on the scammer; I have 4 kids and my credit is poor. They couldn't get anything off my social if they tried. Has anyone heard of this before? What are they trying to do??

Hey all,
Sorry for the long post but I want to include as much detail as possible. I recognise that I should have thought about the decision more wisely before entering into this, but it all happened very quickly.
I don't live in England, but he is in England. This is all online based.
About 4 weeks ago, I signed up to his personal training programme. He says there is a consultation call where you can discuss everything, then you get meal plans, training plans and his team of personal trainers at your disposal 24/7 through an app.
On the consultation call, he was very rushed, kept cutting me off from talking, using the classic jargon of a influencer pt and seemed to be in such a hurry to close this deal. That should've been my first red flag.
He told me it would be £160 a month and that we would start with 4 months, though he is available for up to 8.
He then sent through an email to make an account and pay the first installment of 160. There was a £100 admin fee on top of this. He hadnt mentioned that. Whilst doing this, he was sending messages and being very pushy and voice notes through WhatsApp. He was very excited, enthusiastic, made it sound fantastic. Bombarded me with so much positivity.
Only once I had paid and set up my account, did he send through the terms and conditions and an email containing more details. These weren't available when i was setting up my account to read beforehand. In there, it states that this is binding for a minimum of 4 months. In the email however it says this:
"We have agreed to start a coaching subscription of 8 months with a commitment of 4 months. The first payment will amount to GBP 260 (including a setup fee of GBP 100) Subsequently you will be charged GBP 160 every month. To cancel your subscription, please email us or contact us via the chat function in the app.
Your subscription will roll until such time a 1 month notice period is given, as per the boring bits (terms and conditions!)."
Since starting with him, he's barely done anything.
He boasts about tailoring the meal and training plans specifically to the individual, but I've told him multiple times about ammendments I'd like changing and he's not done so. When I ask questions, he doesn't really answer them - they're very wishy washy responses and not at all what I'd expect from someone who claims to be an expert in this field. He states that it can take up to 48 hours for him or his team to respond: he pushes this to the absolute max. When he does respond, its again, very wishy washy messages, usually just repeating back to me what I've said in my message with his own spin.
I don't think I'm getting the product I'm paying for, nor was I notified before that I would be in this for 4 months without an option to leave at any time. I think £160 a month is a large amount of money to be paying to someone who has sent me about 4 messages and is (what looks like) just reusing the same meal plan and training plan for everyone - maybe with a few tweaks.
I contacted my bank yesterday, who has blocked the next payment to him - which was their suggestion.
I would like to know what the law says about this, if anything. Can he legally bind me in for 4 months? Do I have to pay the 740 to him or can I stop using his services? Should he provide his terms available before the account is made?

My experience with Sadapay initially was great because of great service, free withdrawals, it felt like the perfect fit. However, lately, I've been growing increasingly frustrated with Sadapay as receiving payments from clients started taking an eternity. Exhausted with the delays, I was on a lookout for other options, but I kept procrastinating, fearing I'd end up in the same boat, and have to go through a waitlist.
Then, a couple of friends recommended NayaPay, and I decided to give it a shot. To my surprise, my account was verified within a day, and I even received a free Visa card. But I was still hesitant about receiving international payments, I was just being pessimistic. What if it didn't work out like sadapay and again the hard work could go to waste?
Finally, I took the leap with one of my clients, whom I charged at least $30 for a task and asked for payment through NayaPay. To my utter relief, the payment came through within a day. Now, I ask all my new clients to send to NayaPay.
So far, my experience with NayaPay has been nothing short of satisfying. I share this story here in the hopes that it might help someone facing similar issues.

Mark as you can tell the situation at work has been growing increasingly more tense day by day. You have expressed concern with my performance, I have been making attempts to improve. Yet I see a lack of concern with the issues I have expressed to you. At the moment of writing this latter I have been operating for 2 months with Frank and Devin as members of my WR team. I have expressed concern about having Mike taken away from WR before this has become “the norm”. As you know he is a valuable team member due to the knowledge he accumulated from working with the company for a long period of time. I found it acceptable for Jack to barrow him on an occasion for help when needed (now I understand that perhaps I have been way to linnet when it comes to this). You have expressed that there were days when you had only 3 team members (perhaps you were including yourself in the count). I can see how complaining about a lack of team members for 2-4 days can seem childish, 1 week can be written off as an unfortunate set of circumstances (maybe there is an audit coming up, maybe a higher up visitor from the company). At 2 weeks this begins to raise some concern (perhaps the buys season is upon us and we are training up new team members that we just hired). 3 weeks a MONTH is getting very frustrating (at this point all kinds of explanations are rapidly deteriorating). One would begin to ask himself “why has this been happening for so long?” or “Am I being taken advantage off”. I see the XDock team expand, I see yours and Bella’s team expand, but there isn’t even a whisper of my team expanding or even returning to the usual size. I have been working as a Supervisor and a Bagger with no compensation for the fact that I am preforming a job 2 people. It is only now that my base pay has risen 10 cents above what is offered to new team members who join with no experience. There are people on 1st shift making 22.50$/hr. Working 3rd shift should have a significantly larger compensation (working 3rd is unnatural, not only dose it derail a person’s day to day life, but it is also more stressful). You wouldn’t want nor be able to work 3rd shift. (As a man with a family) At the same time whilst I’m down a team member you have made strides to expand my responsibility as a supervisor (I understand where you are coming from, the buys season is here, the workload for everyone has expanded, you are not able to complete tasks leftover by me or anyone else) But I believe that the timing of this is wrong, you should not have thrown more responsibly on me as a supervisor while I’m already doing the workload of 2 people for a prolonged period of time. I would like to remind you that unlike Bella or Tim I didn’t spend 1-2 weeks shadowing a person in this position. I was thrusted into working as Supervisor with no prior training. You have taken time to show me how to bill out SunSets, kick out an empty flatbed, call in a compactor exchange etc… But learning a task is better done in person (what I mean is this should be done when I can see it happen, not a hypothetical scenario of billing out a flatbed which I never see picked up, I see what I’m supposed to do on my end but I can’t tell if it is done correctly because I have no interaction with a person on the other end) All the tasks like billing out a partial pallet or Dock 69/72, which involve using AniTa(which is outdated and not intuitive program) should be in a binder as a step by step guide for a new or existing supervisors as a reference point .(Like we have done with Sunset, and PRA allocations). I feel that there is a lack of understanding when it comes to expectations. I am held to the same standards as 1st and 2nd shift whilst having a considerably worse team and less resources. What I mean by less resources? I am not completely sure how accurate my information is, but during 3rd shift the number of departments that are operational is cut in half, I believe that there is us the WR, Xdock, Block and Bagging. For a long period of time, we didn’t have a maintenance team (now that we have CJ it is better, but there are still nights when we have issues and he is nowhere to be found, you can ask Scott from bagging about this). We didn’t have a Yard horse driver until recently (although we do have one now, the WR is always last on his priority list, there have been nights where move on a Sunset has been put in before I even got here and wasn’t touched all night) In general, there is a feeling that WR is not important in comparison to other areas on the plant. We are the ones who have to give up the things that we have to others, be it team members, lifts, access to assistance from maintenance team, we always seem to come last. What I mean by a considerably worse team? Me and you had a conversation about this outside couple of months ago. I believe I used an expression “I am given everyone’s bad Appels but expected to make orange juice” I believe you laughed when I said that maybe you didn’t understand what I meant. First Mike while he is useful and knowledgeable when it comes to Bagging, he is very difficult to work with. He has gone from one site to another because of that reason. He drags his feet when asked to do something, or avoids doing it all together, or assigns other team members to do the tasks for him. He leaves the plant without letting me know to complete other tasks instead of cleaning. Recently with him coming to stay 10:30pm-12:00am to join his brother outside he has gotten even worse. He will come and spent 30 minutes talking to Devin then to Rob then to other team members, he might complete 1 bagging load. When asked to do anything else he takes a 10-minute break by that time it is already 11:40pm and he leaves. (At this point I would rather not have him here; he would be way more useful if he was outside taking mulch pallets left by 2nd shift or Clamp Hand Staking on Xdock). Second Frank. We had many conversations about him and his performance. To give you credit you have been very tolerant of him and when asked you did help(example being the new cameras, potential improvement coming to the Pallet Sorter). I have spoken to you about him falling asleep for 2-5 seconds at a time. I believe that I have told you that he expressed to me that he is suffering from Narcolepsy (A chronic sleep disorder that causes overwhelming drowsiness). We have already seen consciences of that. Most of his accidents involving the Forklift were caused by it. There were multiple times when he has been kicked of the lift for weeks on Xdock. I see this as a very dangerous situation not only for him but the safety of other team members, yet I have not seen any attempts to get this addressed. (He could fall asleep, fall down and hit his head on something) He has been sleeping before heading home as a safety measure to prevent himself from getting into an accident (I believe that’s why he had issues with his previous vehicle and doesn’t wish the same thing to happen to his new one). Devin. I am satisfied with him. He has good communication skills; he completes the tasks assigned to him in a reasonable amount of time. He has expressed to me that he is looking for other jobs (more in the tech sector to match his education). We have been fortunate that he hasn’t left us yet. I have been doing my very best to teach him how to preform different tasks, but I strongly believe that we are starting to push him too far. Now that we don’t have Mike and I have to run the bagging plant. Devin had to step up to pallet sorting during Franks lunch everyday (previously we had a rotation between me, Mike and, Devin). He has been a very good team member but I believe that he had picked up some bad habits primarily from Mike . Recently when I asked him to give me a hand with a clan up in bagging he has avoided coming, and began taking breaks to postpone it until I had no choice to do it all alone (whilst I might have been upset with him at the moment I understood that he has already been doing a lot) Backhallers. They are not backhallers they are Xdock team members which Jack uses to do backhalls. They might complete 4-6 backhalls in a given amount of time, but if Jack needs them for something else they have to do the work he assigns them (because there is an understating that Xdock work is more important). When I ask them to do something they don’t take me seriously unlike you and Bella I have almost no authority over them. If I ask them complete a task and Jack askes them to do something else they have to listen to him as his authority supersedes my (same if you asked me to do something nut if Neel asked me to do something else I would have to listen to him). Between running the bagger and keeping an eye on Frank and Devin and doing the clean up I have no time to watch over them, I have no way of reprimanding them if they do something wrong, but yet I am held accountable for the actions of people I have no power to influence. I can see how I can come off aggressive in this letter, but I am trying to communicate my frustrations with the current state of affairs. This is not an attack on you mark. The only reason I haven’t walked away from this, is out of my respect for you and understanding how difficult of a situation I would be putting the WR plant in. I often find myself asking one question. Why did you make me a supervisor and not someone else? (As I recall Mike was offered this position too). Maybe you chose me because of my good work at the Pallet Sorter, maybe because of my communication skills. But now I find myself pulled by the thought that in me you saw an individual who would do more for less, a sucker who is fine getting pushed around and will do more than what he is getting paid for. Perhaps I am wrong to think in this manner, but as time goes on and I see no attempts to improve this situation I grow increasing more frustrated.

could someone share their experience with a similar issue? I wanted to fund mu IB account with AED but The money got trasfered to GBP and therefore GBP was send to AED account. Im trying to solve this with my bank who initiated a Recall but JP Morgan Cahse (Bank of IB) is not responding. I also tryed to solve this with IB side and they told me they are unable to locate the funds. Im a bit desperate here and afraid that I wond see the money ever again. This issue is going on for around 2 month now.
Any ideas what to do ?

I’m facing an issue with my IBKR account and hope someone here can help or provide some insights. I have the authorization for fractional trading activated on my account, but I am unable to purchase fractional shares of “SMH VANECK SEMICONDUCTOR ETF BVME.ETF”. For all other ETFs and stocks in my portfolio, everything works perfectly, and I can buy fractional shares without any problems.
However, this particular ETF is preventing me from making recurrent investments, which is significantly disrupting my investment strategy. Has anyone else encountered this issue or have any idea what the solution might be? Is there an alternative way to invest in this ETF?

Honestly don't know when I started this, might have been 6-7 months already. But here's the rules
Normal hc rules 1. 1st mon per route 2. Dead if faints 3. No items in battle(held items allowed) 4. Set mode 5. Level cap by gym leadeelite four's ace 6. Dupes clause 7. Wipe out counted as loss
Extra rules (the last two were unbanned for elite 4 because I could see no other way without risking multiple crits)
  1. No stat boosting moves
  2. No recovery moves like roost, recover, rest etc(started after clay but I had only used rest before that I think)
  3. No encore, substitute, reflect, light screen
  4. The game was on challenge mode but level caps were according to normal mode (search flygonhg/someone else's explanation on that)
  5. No specific ev training (like vitamins, wings but they were allowed for elite 4 and champion fight)
  6. No gems(only flying gem was used as marshal felt near impossible without it)
Also around midgame I hacked in max money and battle points. Since I can grind the rental mode in pwt, without using any of my mons and when u lose u don't go to a poke center like a traditional wipeout I considered it fair game. So that way I had infinite shards, and access to choice items, focus sash, air balloons, life orb, etc.
Ultimately we had 9 deaths in sewaddle, ducklett, foongus, scolipede, jellicent, darmanitan, chandelure, skarmory and crobat.
I definitely learned a lot in this nuzlocke mainly not relying on krookodile and volcarona, as well as not using excadrill with swords dance or haxorus with dragon dance in every battle. Even learned to toxic stall one or two mons via protect and pivoting so I didn't have to rely on recovery moves.
All pokemon used in the elite 4 fights were goats, haxorus was actually only used in the champion fight but boy was it made specifically to defeat iris. Other than that my starter emboar, umbreon, excadrill, darmanitan, galvantula, stoutland, jellicent, roserade, bisharp were all very good as well. Also the naming theme is very boring I know.
But I'm still reliant on evs at the end of the game so still have a lot to learn. Genuinely had fun in a long time but considering how much I had to plan even after max ev investment I feel like I'll be taking another break before starting another nuzlocke.

Has anyone else felt this way? This can likely be attributed to the CW's poorushed writing (especially after the first 2 seasons), but it's actually mind boggling how unlikable some of the team's members can be at points (mainly Felicity, Rene, Dinah, and Diggle). They all seem to have a raging hate boner for Oliver, and take any opportunity to dogpile on their leader whenever something goes awry. Oliver is a fallible/error-prone person, but he at least takes accountability (some of the time), unlike the others. Oliver usually just takes it and seethes internally, which makes him look like a weak leader to the audience.
The only time that I can recall where he actually defended himself and took digs (pun intended) at someone lambasting him was with Diggle in S7, which resulted in an underwhelming fist-fight. I realize that this was done to artificially create drama, but the constant abuse Oliver received from the people who are supposed to be his closest allies was just lame.
Rene doesn't seem to understand the concept of causality, apparently. Oliver rightfully bodies him after Rene attacks him with an axe, but everyone thinks Oliver is the bad guy for simply defending himself.
It's been years seen I've watched the show, so I could be misremembering some stuff. Interested to hear other's thoughts on this.

𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙛𝙞𝙭𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙚 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙖 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙖𝙜𝙤 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙡𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙖 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙮 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩 that was tied to my old phone number and Gmail account I’m locked out of. All I had to do was make a new Coinbase account and send them a Selfie of me holding my ID and a piece of paper with todays date, my old phone number and “𝓕𝓸𝓻 𝓒𝓸𝓲𝓷𝓫𝓪𝓼𝓮 𝓥𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓯𝓲𝓬𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷” written on it. They then instantly transferred the balance to my new account.
𝘼𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 10 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙪𝙣𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙘𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩, 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙞𝙧𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙨, 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙀-𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙡, 𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙈𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙚, all it took was me getting the right support person one morning on their messaging service under the Help portion of the app and they had it sorted out in under 2hrs…
𝙄𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙄 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢… but the employees there didn’t want to do any real work. Seriously, they did nothing but send me their generic generated troubleshoot responses that had no correlation to my issue over and over again. They would ask me the same questions, sending me the same troubleshoot steps they already had me try over and over and over again until they would say they “escalated my case” and someone would email me back. Of course that would never happen and I would rinse and repeat this scenario probably close to 10 times till I finally matched with a solid support employee who sorted it out with no issues whatsoever. Whoever that employee was bless your soul.
