Hair mist suggestions

2024.06.01 12:21 Strawberryhillz Hair mist suggestions

Hi everyone, I am looking for hair mist recommendations. I want something fresh and long lasting (lasts until end of day), that is fairly loud. I want someone to be able to smell it at close proximity (sitting next to me, or hugging).
Also something available in Europe. Some brands haven’t made it to this side of the pond.
I like the smell of ouai haircare products but I can’t seem to figure out if they do hair mists or just perfumes. I do have curly hair and I am currently considering the lush super milk mist as it would offer hair benefit and a good scent but I’m not a huuuge fan of the scent tbh. I find it just ok. I do like lots of other lush scents if someone has another lush suggestion.
I know the big perfume companies all offer hair mist versions of their perfumes but I don’t know how they perform and £60+ is still quite a lot of money for a fragrance only for my hair. The only ones I would consider are diptyque fleur de peau - I have the perfume, I love the scent but it does play hide and seek with me. I’m concerned the hair mist will be the same. I think byredo mojavo ghost is quite a nice haircare type scent but again concerned about longevity. Might anyone have experience with these?

2024.06.01 06:55 SilverLingonberry969 Woman I'm engaged to being stubborn and unreasonable

Me (M33) set to marry woman (F27) in a few months. We live in different countries. We started discussing where the wedding should be held (she is in the UK) and we had some disagreements. We weren't yelling or insulting each other although it was a bit emotionally charged let us say.
She told me she wanted the wedding in London and gave me her reasons (mostly along the lines of it is her dream, mostly a farewell type of thing with her family before she moves to live with me). I'm sure she will miss her family alot and I am quite understanding of that I acknowledged all her feelings and understood and told her I need time to think about it and weigh all the factors (costs, convenience, my family, my situation, etc).
I tried to open her up into seeing alternatives and saying if it was okay to her. She literally shot all of them down. I wasn't against having it in the UK although I have my concerns. I just wanted her to keep an open-mind, that's all. But that's when I felt she was being extremely pushy, inflexible, stubborn. Almost forcing me to make a decision right then and there and to completely agree to it. Like it's either my way or the highway type of deal, no compromise and as if she wanted to back me into a corner where I would have no choice to submit to these demands. Like I said, I wasn't against having it in the UK, but she was just trying to uni-laterally force a decision on me and her approach completely rubbed me the wrong way.
I let things calm down for a few days then reach out to her. She told me she was crying everyday and couldn't sleep. I tried to console her. Fast forward we have a call and it did not go well. I gave her an open floor to voice all of her emotions, concerns, grievances towards me and to be completely honest no matter how harsh it is. She said very little aside from "it's my dream" and "I would be very sad". She mentioned how she was already compromising by coming to live with me. Which is fair but this was agreed on from the very beginning. The wedding location wasn't. And I told her I would do everything to make her feel comfortable in her new home. And that I am also compromising and committed as well. I went on a 10 minute rant about how I understood her emotions and how she was feeling and everything and how I am committed to finding a solution that makes everybody happy.
I asked her some questions but she couldn't give me any answers at all. Very simple questions as well. Like why the change of heart? Maybe I asked a question that was a bit too much like "what do you suggest we do then". She eventually got way too upset and just ended the call. It was like talking to an NPC brick wall where nothing was getting through to her and she kept repeating the same thing over and over again. Like anything short of having 100% her way was not satisfactory. I had ALOT of grievances and was annoyed with her but held my tongue as not to upset her anymore and to try to empathize with her.
In all honesty. If she approached this in a nicer, kinder, more level-headed understanding way, I may have obliged. Although I still have my own circumstances to consider. Normally she is very calm, respectful and reserved which is why I'm shocked. But sometimes people's true selves unravel after the mask comes off.
For example, she wants the wedding in London. London is VERY expensive and it's cheaper in a different city. She wants to invite all her family. I have a lot of family too and I can't just not invite them. The number of guests makes it so expensive. To be fair she's not asking for a lavish wedding but still. However, she is not considering I have to pay her Mahr, pay a deposit for rent, visa costs, plane tickets, furnishing the home, purchasing anything she needs for the home, honeymoon, marriage documents, Nikkah costs, photography, dresses/suits. I'm probably missing something and on a conservative end this is probably in upwards of 60K+ dollars up front. I can afford that but that's a huge chunk of my savings gone and I want to use the money for a wedding to instead purchase a nice home for the both of us. Or even front load it to the honey moon, a better apartment or even things that she wants like a fancy new phone or her Mahr.
I also lack vacation holidays so I would have to fly and can only stay for 4-5 days. Everything is going to be so stressful and rushed. My parents also won't be able to attend as they are old and they have already flew so much this year. They have also spent money flying over to meet her and the family. I would also hate to impose on my aunty again for hosting me twice (2 weeks each) for each time I visited. She's very old. Also I would like to oversee some of the wedding planning in order to see what is going on and this is much harder being away.
Now, I could make this work but the thing is. It is very burdensome and inconvenient for me and a lot of people and there are easier and less expensive alternatives. Not to mention a lot of compromise on my end and little on hers.
The biggest problem I have with her is she is acting very entitled, only thinking of her dreams, not even asking me whether it was something I want. As if my opinions, dreams, on the wedding don't matter. Which is ridiculous because I'm footing 100% of it. She is being selfish and can't think of anyone besides her self. She wants me to completely submit to her wishes without considering how I feel about it. She won't compromise anything on her end. I've already compromised alot on my end even if I wasn't necessarily happy with it. I feel like I'm dealing with a spoiled princess of a child that is used to throwing emotional fits when she doesn't get her way so the parents have no choice but to give her what she wants just to appease her.
I've made so much effort for her like visiting her twice, planning the outings, giving her expensive gifts, initiating our calls, planning the family gatherings, leading the marriage process, etc. 95% of things she wanted I gave to her and compromised. Even at the expense of my own ideal thing. Anything she didn't want I didn't force it on her. I thought women wanted men to lead and initiate? She didn't really have to do much aside from show up and maybe do some small favours I asked her to. My theory is closer to the wedding date, she is getting cold feet.
The thing is, this was never a dealbreaker or discussed as one from the beginning. She mentioned she wanted a small and intimate and simple wedding. We had all the parents gathered and even talked about the wedding location. Then and there was the time to discuss it but now all the parents are in different countries so that opportunity is gone. She raised zero objections and zero mention of where she wanted the wedding during those gatherings. It's like she just sprung this on me which has me concerned. Like what if she comes and lives with me then decides I don't like this country and starts throwing an emotional fit?
At this point she is just being a headache to deal with. I'm questioning whether I want to or it is worth dealing with this if I marry her and if she is going to do this in the future. I am reaching out to her dad as he seems reasonable. I'm not talking to her at all as to give her room and to calm down. I also refuse to talk to her unless she is actually willing to discuss and drop the whole "me me me" attitude. I've been super patient and kind with her during the entire process catering to her needs/wants and times she was very stressed. She hurt me pretty badly early on with her actions in which I was 100% fully intent on leaving until she pulled me back in saying she would be extremely sad and hurt if I left her. I forgave her for that.
I think if she doesn't budge and once I explore all solutions and they don't work I'm going to give her an ultimatum. If you are going to put a one day wedding over a lifetime of a successful marriage I'm out. If you are going to put your wants above everything else, I'm out. I'm going to let her reach out to me and see if she realizes how selfish she is being. Sometimes it takes the real threat of walking away for someone to realize the error of their ways. Sometimes you've tried hard enough and are beating a dead horse.
Even if we do come up with a wedding solution, the way she acted throughout is leaving a lot of unanswered questions and make me feel uncomfortable unless we get marriage counseling. A marriage where one is constantly bending over backwards to appease someone else at the expense of themselves is not going to work. What's the point in getting what you want if the other person resents you for it? She is unable to see past the wedding itself.
I'm working so hard and under a lot of stress being at a new job trying to juggle everything from school, career, marriage, obligations to family, health, fitness, everything. I feel like I'm losing myself in trying to please everybody and putting my needs on the backburner in favor of somebody else. I'm very torn. I never wanted a wedding to be a source of tension. I would have been happy with a simple wedding with close family at a house. I'm a very simple person that doesn't need much except emotional support and somebody who can provide peace and tranquility while we worship Allah together. That's all I ever wanted yet apparently it's too much to ask for. I've been nothing but patient and good to her throughout.
Not sure what I should do at this point or how to approach her again. Being nice and understanding didn't work. Maybe I need to call her out on her childish and self-centered behaviour.
Part of this is me ranting and venting but any advice, comments or solutions are appreciated! Your duas as well.

2024.06.01 05:26 Solid_Ad_2490 People making racist comments about my mixed daughter’s hair..

My daughter’s 2, she’s half Asian and half black. I’m Vietnamese and black, her dad’s fully black. Her curls came in when she was about 1. Since then I’ve been getting comments like “you need to do her hair” “omg her hair is so NAPPY” ??? My daughter gets a bath every night and I wash her hair with curly hair products that are catered to her hair type and texture. She has super curly kinky hair. I detangle her every night and use curl crème. But because she has a curlier kinky hair texture people think it’s “nappy” she has a curly fro. I do my daughter’s hair in pony tails, little side parts, bows, etc. but when we’re just at home I leave her natural hair out. I mean she’s 2… she’s scared of the blow dryer so I only air dry her hair. I don’t know if people expect me to perm a 2 year olds hair like what??? Her hair isn’t “nappy” she’s a 2 year old wearing her natural curls. Her hair texture is 3b/3c and I think her curls are so cute and beautiful!! I have straight hair, but I’ve had to educate and learn how to cater to curly hair. She wears a bonnet at night but it also slips off by the morning. I’m just tired of the ignorant comments. I’ve planned to get my daughter’s hair braided when she’s a little older and able to sit down for an hour atleast. I had a friend tell me that’s she’s glad she doesn’t have “black people hair” because it’s so much “extra work and hair products” and it’s a “black person problems”

2024.06.01 05:22 brelaine19 Hair Cut Suggestions for my daughter (10F)

Hello,
My daughter (10F) has fine wavy/curly hair. I have uploaded a couple of photos. she doesn't really have the patience for a curly hair routine. Being a kid and outside a lot it gets tangled and not brushing her hair is not really an option and she doesn't always want to wet it down and style every time.
She is about to go to summer day camp where they swim for hours every day.
It normally looks like this photo half brushed out https://cloud.noaviv.com/lqwhWLHw
Here it is when it is wet so you can see her curly pattern better, sorry I know these photos aren't the best. https://cloud.noaviv.com/CRr5fhjZ
Her curl pattern is much tighter on the underneath, I think the top layer curls get killed by extra brushing and the sun (we live in the desert)
She has been asking me for curtain bangs, I have been hesitant because she has the type of hair that:
  1. You need to blow out to get that classic curtain bang look she wants
  2. Her hair is very fine and cutting that much in the front may end up just thinning it out and making it look like a mullet.
I have fine hair like hers without as much curl and I have been trying to save her from my many failed experiments with shorter layers.
Anyway, I know she is frustrated with her hair (it doesn't help that her big sister literally has the type of hair you see in shampoo commercials without even trying) and wants to get a stylish cut so I am here for suggestions.
She wants to cut it a bit shorter, around collar bone length and wants something more interesting in the front. I don't mind helping her style it but would love something that would help her embrace her curls a bit more.
Sorry this ended up really long
TLDR: shouldecollar bone length hair cut for super fine mixed curl pattern that is low maintenance but still fun for a tween, does this exist? lol

2024.06.01 00:18 The_Potatofarm The Paper Magician – a review

So, I've been trying to find some less talked-about fantasy books, hoping to find something a bit different. I don't remember how The Paper Magician ended up on my TBR, but I though the premice sounded pretty neat. Paper magic? Sign me up! And since it was ostencibly a bit of a romance book (a subgenre I haven't read much of) I gave it a go.
Unfortunatly the word that best describes my feeling for the book is simply dissapointment.
The Paper Magician by Charlie N. Holmberg is set in London in the early twentieth century. Our protagonist, a 20-ish year old woman named Ceony, has just graduated magic school "at the top of her class". Despite the graduates usually getting to choose what material to bond (more on the magic in a bit), Ceony is assigned to studie paper magic against her own wishes. She is sent to the enigmatic Magician Emery Thane, who, in spite of Ceony's reluctance, teaches her the spellcraft of folding.

The Good

Okey so I did enjoy a few things about this book. The biggest one is the idea of the magic. It is basically an elemental-type system, though the elements are not some kind of natural buildingblocks but human-made materials like paper, rubber and glass. (Also metal for some reason which seems strange since it's definally naturally occuring.) I think the concept of paper-based magic is really cool. Different folds and cuts and so on having different magical effects is a grat concept for a har magic system. Additionally, I think the atmosphere in some of the earlier chapters was pretty neat. Unfortunatly a good concept and a few nice descriptions do not in themselves a good book make.

The Plot

The plot of this book is ... dumb. Ceony's tutor, Emery Thane, is mixed up in the hunt for some criminal magicians, one of which suddenly attacks his home. The evil magician is a so-called Excisionists – people using flesh-based magic – and the ex-wife of thane, who steals Thane's heart, leading Ceony to chace after her. Ceony is somehow (this is all still very unclear to me, but more on that later) trapped inside Thane's heart, forcing her to go through a multitued of visions of Thane's subconsious. The whole thing feels like a really ham-fisted attempt at exposition, poorly masqueraded as a story. Each chamber of Thanes heart is a different aspect of his subconsions; his regret, his hope, and so on. But non of it really really matters as its simlpy there to drag out the encounter between Ceony and the Excisioner, while dropping random tidbits about both Ceony's and Thane's past to the reader. The whole thing is basically 130 pages of pointless bloat in a 214 page book.

The Writing

So, the prose is fine. Or more accuretly, they would be fine, if the author wasn't constantly trying so hart to be fancy with it. Most senteces do their job just fine, but every other paragraph there will be a really weird simile or metaphor that just doesn't make sence or is so convoluted that you're pulled right out of the scene. I was constantly aware that I was reading words that someone had sat down and thought about. It rarely felt natural. To give an example: "Ceony felt her own heart drip cold drops into her stomach, making her nauseated." Like, what does that even mean?
There is also a lot of cleche writing. When the evil magician attacks it happens right in the middle of someone speaking, with a sudden, loud explosion. And there are long exposiotion dumps through lazy dialogue that feels out of character. There is pretty much no character development, and everyone feels very one-dimensional. Thre is the young, inexperienced, awkward protagonist. The kind of silly, kind of mysterous mentor character. The strict teacher. The super mega evil villain who only wants death and destruction for the sake of it.
One thing that has like zero real relevance, but that a just found strange is how the sound of the heart was written. Like, a heart definitely as a du-dum, du-dum, kind of rhythm, right? But it the book it's written as "PUM-Pom-poom". Just really weird.

The Romance

Despite having the aestethics and feel of a romance book, there is very little of it. As you can probably guess from just the few things I have described, Ceony falls for Thane. Thing is, Thane spends more than half of the book on the floor dying while Ceony runs around inside his heart. There is about zero actuall set-up of or development of their relationship. On top of that, Thane is like at least ten years older than Ceony, so you're not even rooting for then to get togeather.

The Magic

The magic was, despite the grat premise, really disappointing to me. By the description you would expect a hard magic system with well defined rules and parametres for how different folds and cuts can interact and affect eachother. I think it could have been really cool to see such a system explored. Instead the magic seems to be a pretty much anything-goes-situation. Nothing is really explained, and the materials used for the magic don't seem to play too much of a role in what the magic can do. I also found it very strange that Excision-magic is considered "dark arts". Like I get that blood and flesh as a magic source could be used for bad things, but I also feel like could also revolutionise medicine. This also plays into the villain beeing cartoonishly evil for evils sake. Just makes the story way less interesting.
All in all this book was a pretty big disappointment. So far my foray into lesser-known fantasy has not been grat – also having read Gogmagog reasently, which was similarly unimpressive (though definitely better).
What are your thoughts on this book if you have read it?

2024.06.01 00:02 tangypotato1 [26F] [F4M] #Canada/Online. Lonely girl seeks lonely guy to be lonely with

Hi all,
As a person, I am equally family/love and career oriented. I find myself having more success with the latter and friendships, which leaves me missing and craving love in my life. I fundamentally believe that no amount of self help can replace community or a partner and vice versa. They are all important.
Recently in a self growth journey where I’ve been working really hard to transform my attachment style, self image and make myself better in general. I went back to school and have started a job in my field that I feel so grateful for. I am finally content - but kinda lonely! I want someone to cut that loneliness a bit and would love to exist in that space of warmth with someone else. I don’t want just a friend or just a f buddy. I want the whole experience!
I find myself wanting to have someone to text about my day or give a call on a weekend. I even find myself wanting to have someone to talk to when I’m going through something difficult (I’m the type to never bother anyone when I’m dealing with something so it’s just the idea of even having willing to available that sounds great). I want to be all that for someone else too! I want to have a crush and to have someone to give my affection to - to be soft with.
I’m normally a pretty independent person so this is new to me! I’m embracing the feeling and get the vibe I’m ready for something serious.
About me: - 5’6 - South Asian - Average build, super curly hair, chubby cheeks - I work in nutritional science and as a professor in higher education - In my free time I’m a huge foodie, lover of arts, nature, fashion, music I love to play the Sims - I value people who are emotionally intelligent, warm and kind - Although I’m going into this looking for companionship - if we’re talking for a while I would want it to grow into a deeper commitment - I take a lot of pride in my looks and put a lot of effort into both my physical upkeep and emotional wellbeing - I’m kinda quirky?? Super nerdy
About you: - A guy aged 25-33 - Purpose driven - doesn’t matter what the purpose is, just meaning in their life - Emotionally intelligent/affectionate. A guy who can communicate how he feels and makes you feel wanted is so hot and makes me want to do the same. - Someone who believes in hard work like me - Someone who has some free time and effort to give an emotional connection - Someone who wants a romantic companion!
I’m a super understanding and affectionate person, but I have 0 tolerance for any kind of disrespect or a lack of kindness.
Bonus points if we can nerd out together. Send me a cool fact about history, art or culture. I have to say while I wrote out this long ass thing here, I’m not one for paragraphs! I prefer texting daily in short bursts.

2024.05.31 23:44 Mr-Sunshine-Man 32 [M4F] Midwest US/Online - Looking for that Fairy Tale relationship :)

So maybe I just watched too many Disney movies when I was little, but I still believe in fairy tales! I imagine the kind of relationship you only see in movies. The long walks on the beach, holding hands while the sun sets. Buying you flowers just because it's Tuesday. I want to sing to you, and dance with you, and stare into your eyes and tell you how beautiful you are! I want to cook you the most delicious food you've ever eaten and share romantic candle-lit dinners with fancy drinks, and great conversations. I want to pamper you with massages and foot rubs as often as you'll let me, and leave you little notes with sweet messages for you to find throughout your day, just so you feel special. I want you to know I'm always thinking about you! I want to make you as happy as you make me! I want to wake up and smile knowing I've got the most amazing girl next to me. I'd just pull you close and cuddle and kiss you, hold you tight and never want to let you go. I want to fall asleep every night with that feeling of pure joy that you only get when in love!
Now a bit about me: Aside from being a bit of a hopeless romantic, I have blond hair and green eyes. I'm 5'10'' (177cm), decent shape. I've been told I'm cute, but I guess that's more for you to decide. I'm happy to share pics upon request or once we get to know eachother a little.
As for my personality, I'll give you some words to describe me: Sweet, shy, thoughtful, dedicated, affectionate, genuine, understanding, open-minded, dependable, and easy-going.
I love Sports (huge Philly Eagles Fan), Cooking (always trying new and interesting things or attempting to improve an old favorite), Horror movies (over-the-top 80s horrors are the BEST), all types of music (anything with a good vibe. I love listening to new releases and trying to keep up with the times. And secretly LOVE to sing when I'm alone in the car), Video games (All time favs are Super Mario 64, Skyrim, and Madden), Binge watching TV shows (I love falling asleep to reruns of Star Trek, Futurama, or It's Always Sunny). I enjoy meeting new people and discovering common interests. My favorite thing to do is travel and check out the sights and enjoy the night-life in new places.
Ultimately I'd love to find someone to find someone to just have a good time, enjoy each other's company, and create new experiences with! Just waiting for the right person. Because work keeps me so busy I don't find as much time as I'd like to get out and meet new people, but I figure Its better to not just limit myself to locals anyway. In theory, online should open up a few more opportunities..right!? 😂
Send me a chat! Tell me something fun about yourself, or just say Hi! I understand not everyone has time to type out a big elaborate response right now. But Im always interested to hear what's on your mind, talk about your day, or enjoy a flirty chat. So whatever you're up for is fine with me. I'd love to see a picture of you, but it's not required right away.
Sorry for the giant wall of text! And thanks for reading!

Hello! I’m going to dinner with a small group including GF and vegan people. GF person does not need a gluten free kitchen. I’m mostly finding more lunch/cafe spots, and wondering if anyone has recommendations for a slightly nicer, but not super fancy/expensive, dinner place? TYIA!
Edit: Any type of cuisine is fine :)

2024.05.31 18:49 StygianSilvan 29 [M4F] NZ / Online - Make an honest man out of me?

That’s an odd title but I’m an odd guy so it probably fits. It’s not what you think. The last time someone told me that I should “Find someone to make an honest man out of me”, it was at a family gathering where the older crowd was shocked, flabbergasted even, that I was still single at my age. But it’s not due to leading a debaucherous life. The exact opposite actually.
So, what can I tell you about myself? I’m closer to 30 than I’d like, in fact my birthday is just over a month away. What’s that internet legend about virgins turning into wizards at 30? Well, guess I’m getting my Hogwarts letter soon. Not that I mind. In fact that’s something I’d like to save for the right person. Y’know, rings and all. But getting back on track.
I adore my career in Information Security. If you didn’t stop me, I’d probably keep talking all night about all the weird & wacky stuff I come across on a daily basis. In terms of hobbies, I enjoy playing video games (I’ve been playing WoW since vanilla), reading, history, roleplaying (tabletop variety…maybe the other type too if I find someone equally weird), mythology, & penetration testing (I know). It wouldn’t be out of place to see me working on a lab or staring at the screen with a very confused look on my face late into the night / early into the morning.
Speaking of looks, well, there’s a reason my friends insisted I play a goblin deck in Magic: The Gathering back when we still played. Standing at a staggering 153cm (I believe that’s 5’0”), I’m pretty short. Combine that with my shaved head (balding sucks), Van Dyke beard, mocha coloured skin, a larger than average nose, rather pointed ears, & eyes as black as night? Yeah, as much as I’d like to say I’m from the Shire, I actually skulked out of Moria. On a serious note, I’m Fijian Indian. I’ve lived in NZ for 22 years now so I consider myself as much a kiwi as the next guy. I do have some other goblin-like tendencies, such as a penchant for pushing stuff into production with very little regard to testing or outside context but that’s what senior engineers are there for, no?
As for what I’m looking for? Good question. I’d hate to fall into the Indian stereotype & start talking about getting hitched. My mum has been dropping hints about setting me up with her friends' daughters. Can you imagine dating someone your mother picked out for you? No, just…no. But I would like someone to hang out with. More so than just friends. So when my boss drops the “Who wants to be on-call this week?” line, I can say I’ve got something planned with the missus.
On a serious note, who doesn’t want a happily ever after? I want someone to watch Star Trek and play video games with. Maybe one day combining our libraries together? I’ve got a set of Slytherin edition books that need a partner set *cough* Ravenclaw *cough*.
Despite being a homebody who prefers to spend most of his time in front of the computer or curled up with a book, I do actually want to see all those fancy places my Classical Studies teacher went on about. It was my favorite subject after all. Which is why I’m clambering out of my goblin-grotto and taking a Eurotrip later this year. Western Europe at least. I can’t exactly say that traveling is my passion buuuut I can be tempted with ancient artifacts and loot. So I can be interesting, if the mood strikes me.
Anyway, I’ll list some of the general stuff that I’ve seen on other subreddits, you know like the usual dating bulletpoints. I am:
• Agnostic • Childfree • Smokefree • Alcohol free • Monogamous • Heterosexual / Possibly Sapio? - I dunno, you start lecturing me on history and etymology (since I don’t know anything, I just like having bits of trivia) and I’ll fall in love. • I play a tank so if you’re keen on healing, we’ve got guaranteed dungeon groups all night. • INFJ - Yeah, yeah, I know. But I love taking personality tests, regardless of how accurate they are. • Liberal / Left voter - I've always voted for Labour or the Greens, just in case that's super important to you.
If you made it all the way down here, thanks for reading. I know it’s kinda verbose and I probably come across as incredibly weird, certainly an acquired taste. But if we hit it off, well I live just a couple hours from the Hobbiton set and I’ve seen people host weddings there. Y’know, just throwing that out there.
P.S. I’m taking a big exam tomorrow and I am looking for love on Reddit. Priorities.

Ignition Casino User Interface

Ignition Casino Interface
The site contains a sleek and easy-to-navigate layout. The professional design left me in no doubt this is a serious and fully verified operator. The games tabs are split into “Poker”, “Casino”, “Live Dealer” and “Virtual Sports”. Finding your game-of-choice is straight forward, with drop-down menus and a search bar at the top of each section. The “Promotions” tab is also prominently displayed, so you will never miss out on opportunities for bonuses and rewards. The FAQ sections are extensive for those less experienced players.
My first impressions are that it´s designed with simplicity in mind, without sacrificing style. Perfect for diving in as a casual player for real money bets, with no messing around.

Ignition Casino

The Ups and Downs of Ignition Casino

The site offers a wide variety of casino games, from slots through to blackjack, craps, roulette and bingo. Ultimately there is over 250 casino games from leading developers, including RTG, Rival Gaming and BetSoft. I played some of these games with bets as low as $0.02, with comparatively good odds compared to competitor sites. However, where the casino games really stand out is in the hot drop jackpots and live dealer options.

Slots

Ignition Slots
Ignition Casino provides 113 slots games of both 3-reel and 5-reel slots, including a steady stream of new games from renowned software providers. My favorite is Dragons Siege, which aside from the dramatic theme, provides a high RTP of 98%. Ignition does have less slots games than some competitors, and I found no dedicated practice mode. Nevertheless, the opportunity to win serious money with Hot Drop Jackpots is where Ignition Casino excels in the US-facing market.
Hot Drop Jackpots act like progressive jackpots, where a percentage of each wager contributes to the big pot. But with hot drops you see exactly when the hourly, daily and weekly jackpots are about to drop for a guaranteed payout. This allows you to time your spins for maximum chances at winning the hot drop. Alongside your normal winning lines, if you land 3-jackpot signs anywhere on the reel, you´ll trigger the Hot Drop Jackpot reel.

Table Games

There are a good variety of table games on offer including roulette, craps and others. Overall, there are 25 table games available, outmatching many competitor sites. I liked that the different types of games are categorized at the bottom of the pag. This lets you know whether you are entering a game of luck or strategy, and whether you are up against a dealer. There are detailed explanations of all of the rules, odds and strategies once you open the games up.
https://preview.redd.it/9wag2fdhoq3d1.png?width=1048&format=png&auto=webp&s=084d3fd76b06200ff620c8741bc6bbeb143f4260
The variety of table games was a pleasant surprise, with these games sometimes neglected by other casino sites. If you get bored of Ignitions main offerings, I definitely recommend this section for something a little different.

Blackjack

The virtual blackjack offerings are limited at Ignition, with eight games on offer. But I did find some here good variety. I am a particular fan of the double deck blackjack. The dealer being required to stand on soft-17 gives you beneficial odds. If you are new to blackjack, there are strategy cards at the bottom to help you know how to play. You can surrender you hand in all the blackjack games except the single and double deck versions. This was valuable in allowing me to retrieve half my bets when I was on likely losing hand.

Video Poker

Ignition is famed for its online poker room. However, if you are a newbie and don´t fancy diving head on against other players online, there are seven different video poker games available for you to play. Like the other table games, all these video poker games have detailed explanations of the rules, basic strategies and odds. After some time playing these games, you´ll be ready to enter the fray in the poker room.

Live Dealer

When Ignition first introduced Live Dealers in 2019, this was still a new concept in the US-facing market. Ignition is still leading the way. There are four lobbies, one each for blackjack, routlette, baccarat and super 6. I counted 32 live blackjack games, plus nine other live games covering roulette, baccarat and super 6. For me, nothing beats sitting at home but still having the authentic feel of a brick-and-mortar casino!
https://preview.redd.it/7kzjkhunoq3d1.png?width=1900&format=png&auto=webp&s=6d118b9b8edacddf262cf4c4732d8377c2020c6d
You can choose your dealer and seat at the table. The casino background noises can be switched on for the most authentic experience, or turned off for no distractions. There is even a chat box if you like to engage in some gentle trash talk with other players. One standout feature is the ability to play real money mini casino games from inside the game lobby. This kept me entertained while waiting to join the table, and even while the dealer shuffled.
If you are a rookie, then don´t be to put off by facing a real dealer. The rules section is substantial, and you can watch without joining for as long as you want. Some of the card tables allow you to enter with as low as $5, and the roulette tables for $1. However, for those who really mean business, some of the lobbies allow you to enter with up to $10,000. Perfect for both casual casino goers and hardened veterans.

Ignition Casino Poker Room

Ignition Casino has some of the most popular online poker rooms in the US. This is for good reason. Unlike other poker rooms, Ignition´s Poker Room keeps its focus on ease, speed and playability. There are no plug-ins or fancy graphics here. There are multiple tournament types and three game types – Hold´em, Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo. You can have up to four tables going at the same time. Ignition also prides itself on player anonymity, to prevent you being prayed on by experienced card sharks. Instead I simply given a new number as an identifier whenever I entered a new poker game.
https://preview.redd.it/fjdjhspvoq3d1.png?width=1900&format=png&auto=webp&s=9f85deb1645ad4a459def2b7b72db063c60e9bda
For new players there is a free practice mode to get to grips with the game before putting money on the table. Once you´ve decided to buy-in, you can go big or small. Indeed, for a Sit & Go $0.50 buy-in you can win up to a $600 jackpot, making it a very good return. Meanwhile, the $100 buy-ins can see serious jackpots of up to $120,000.
The sheer amount of traffic at Ignition means there is hundreds of available poker rooms at any given time. Whether you are a novice seeking to ease yourself in, a casual player hoping for some excitement, or a dedicated player looking for big money, there will be a lobby for you.

Types of Poker Games

Texas Hold´em – The most popular variant of poker. You are dealt two cards. Three “community cards” are then dealt face up upon the middle of the table for all the players to see, with two more to follow in two stages. You seek to play the best five-card hand out of any combination of the seven cards you can see – the two in your hand and the five community cards.
Omaha – Similar to Texas Hold´em, except you are dealt four cards, and your five-card hand needs to contain exactly two of your own four cards plus three of the five community cards to win.
Omaha Hi/Lo – Same as Omaha, except each player seeks to make a five-card low-hand (Ace-8) and a five-card high-hand. The pot is then split between the player with the high-hand and the player with the low-hand. If there is no low-hand, the high-hand wins the pot.

Poker Tournaments at Ignition Casino

Ignition Casino offers a variety of tournament types:
Sit & Go: This is your easiest way in. You can play Sit & Go games ranging from 1-on-1s to 3-table games, from small buy-ins under $1 to larger buy-ins of $100 or more. Simply select one of the 100+ games in the lobby that suits your needs, buy-in, and off you go.
Jackpot Sit & Go: Another easy way to buy-in for potentially big jackpots. You are given six buy-in options, ranging from $0.50 to $100. A $0.50 buy-in can win you up to $600, and a $100 buy-in can win you up to $120,000. You play two other people, and you find out the size of the jackpot after you enter poker room.
Sit & Go Practice Mode: You can also select the “Practice Mode” filter if want to practice in a tournament format, without putting down any money. This is always a nice feature to encourage those new to poker to get up to scratch.
Otherwise, you enter the tournaments tab. Here the tournament filter makes it very easy to find the tournament to suit your skill or your budget. These range from knockouts to big money games and World Cup Events. Some have pot limits, and others no limit. Have a look for yourself, there is a constant stream of players waiting for you to go toe-to-toe.
The simple tournament filter and the sheer number of players is where Ignition Casino excels at online poker.

Ignition Casino Bonuses and Promotions

https://preview.redd.it/01a2h8tdqq3d1.png?width=1898&format=png&auto=webp&s=6fd94c8d0460894d76fe4ad7001d86a0f7a1315f
The Ignition bonuses shined for me on account of the low minimum deposits ($20) and low rollover requirements (25x for casino). This means you have a chance at cashing in even as a casual player. But it is for crypto that the Ignition bonuses really shines, with an extra-generous welcome bonus and reload bonuses. Ignition also provides several bonuses for the poker room.

$2,000 Welcome Bonus:

Ignition offers a bonus of 100% up to $1,000 for your first poker and casino deposits. The casino bonus is subject to a 25x rollover, meanwhile the poker bonus is gradually released as you earn Ignition points.

$3,000 Crypto Welcome:

If you’re a crypto user then the welcome bonus goes one better. You get 150% up to $1,500 for casino, and again for poker, for a whopping total of $3,000. Just like the normal welcome bonus, the casino bonus has a 25x rollover. The poker bonus is released gradually as you accrue Ignition Miles.

Weekly Crypto Boost:

If the crypto welcome bonus was not enough, you are entitled to a weekly reload bonus. After your first crypto deposit you will receive a weekly deposit bonus code . This will match 100% of your crypto deposit up to $1,000. This is one of the more generous crypto-user bonus schemes I’ve found on the net. That said, this weekly bonus can only be used in the casino.

Poker Bonuses

Aside from the 100% up to $1,000 welcome bonus (150% up to $1,500 for crypto) for your first deposit, Ignition offers a couple of other poker bonuses.
  • Texas Hold’Em Royal Flush Bonus – If you recieve this pot-winning hand, Ignition will payout a bonus of 50x the games big blind, up to $200. Even better, there are no rollover requirements!
  • Texas Hold’Em Bad Beat Bonus – So long as both your winning and losing hands have gone to a showdown, and used both their pocket cards, you are entitled to this bad beat bonus. Ignition will give you 100x the big blind, up to $1,000, to help you cover.
You should also keep your eye out for the weekly promotions, to see what other poker bonuses you may be able to win.

Ignition Casino Mobile Gaming

The site is very easily navigable through mobile, with the scroll feature seemingly made for mobile-users in mind. You can access all of Ignition´s 250+ casino games through mobile web browser, with no need to download an app or any of the games. I have had no problems at all on Android, although for iPhone users I recommend you use an iPhone 6 or above for the smoothest experience.
The one exception is the poker room. For this there is an app for download. However – and this is another reason for Ignitions popularity with poker-players – it is one of the best mobile poker apps on the market. Quick, functional, and easy-to-use.
Perhaps due to Ignition being a relatively young player on the market, the mobile gaming experience seems to have been front and center of the web designer’s mind.

Banking Options at Ignition Casino

There are plenty of ways to both deposit and withdraw your money. Sticking with the crypto theme, the casino offers a variety of cryptocurrency transactions, from Bitcoin to Litecoin. If you are unfamiliar with cryptocurrency, Ignition provides a very handy step-by-step guide to using crypto, so you can take advantage of those juicy crypto bonuses. If you are unfamiliar with crypto don´t worry. You can still use Visa and Mastercard for deposits, and good old-fashioned check for withdrawal. As with most casinos, I found non-crypto options to be more costly and time consuming.

Ignition Casino Customer Support

The site has a very extensive and useful F&Q section, which will answer most of your queries. There is also a user forum which can also answer some queries.
If you can´t find your issue in the F&Q section or forum, the site does also offer an email and Live Chat option. The email has a 72-hour response time, although if you have a more urgent matter, the Live Chat option that advertises a 5–7-minute response time.
Unfortunately, in my experience the Live Chat response time often takes longer then the billed 5-7 minutes. The first time I tried with a deposit query I waited for 15 minutes before being informed there were no available agents. That said, the Ignition customer service agents are very helpful and courteous once you are into the chat, which I was on my second attempt after another 10 minutes.
  • FAQ Page
  • Live Chat
  • Email Support
  • User Forum

Final Verdict

I would definitely recommend you sign up to Ignition Casino, whether you are a casual or experienced player. There is a generous sign up bonus, especially if you use crypto, and a wide variety of games for you to play.
Special mention goes to the simple and highly functional Poker room. This could just be the best place for online poker players to get started, and for dedicated players to stay sharp. The Hot Drop Jackpots and Live Dealers are also great features, with the potential for big money wins to appeal to even experienced online gamblers.

2024.05.31 11:58 solanamai456 Taking Care of Curly Hair under Hijab

I've been wearing a hijab now for almost 3 years alhamdulillah, but ive struggled with taking care of my curly hair. Im not sure what my hair type is but its about 3c (i thinkkk) and low porosity. Ever since ive worn it ive been struggling a lot with my hair in terms with what to do with it and products. I have had a bit of hair loss but it was due to stress and it was one area, it did happen twice around the same area but alhamdullilah it grew back both times, its just a little thin. I wont lie and say im not worried but i probably need to just loosen the front of my hair because ive already got a thinner middle parting from always doing tight hairstyles with a middle part. but for the ast year now ive avoided the middle part and done a cornrow in the middle of my head instead.
id say my hair is decently heathly. never dyed it, straightened it once like 5 years ago. but i did used to blowdry it out a LOT. like everyweek on and off for like a year but that was maybe 2 years ago now. the main problem is probably that its superr dry and it doesnt really grow. i do cut it myself but not enough that it should be the same length like my whole life. i think im due for a professional cut soon though because the ends look super thin when i blow it out.
ive tried a couple of products but the problem i find with most of them is that they are styling products and make my hair harder to deal with, like harder to brush through, im not sure how to explain it. Im looking for leave in conditioners but every one ive tried havent been to my liking. Now i mainly stick with oils and butters as theyre the only thing that make my hair somewhat manageable but they dont moisterise my hair enough. ive tried cantu, shea moisture and skala leave in conditioners but theyre all styling products i think.
for hairstyles i tend to just stick with smallish cornrows (like 7 minimum). i just wash my hair on the weekend do a couple cornrows and leave it for the week as its the most low maintenance protective hairstyle there is, and i dont like buns because my hair gets tangled quickkk so i would have to brush it all the time.
i dont really have a routine, but i want to get into oiling my hair with things like rosemary, castor, jojoba, amla oil im not really sure what oils are best though because my aim is to lengthen, soften and strengthen my hair, not thicken really. i also want to start looking into shampoos and conditioners but they all look the same and leave my hair dry after washing and most of them are boycott products, and of course moisterisers/ leave in conditioners but i dont like any of them.
i also do want to look into like a relaxing treatment, i know everyone says its a bad idea but im not a hair person even before the hijab ive always just put my hair into a bun, i do loveee my curly hair but i never style it as i dont have anywhere to go and if i style it just for home it makes my hijab look so bumpy and i hate it when it looks bumpy. so if there are any recs that would be great, even if its just loosening curls which i think i would prefer. all i know is olive ors and dont do protein treatment lol.
anyways any advice would be great n sorry for the long post, jzk x

2024.05.31 07:12 jo_asia Recommendations for curly hair stylist

Need help finding a new stylist. I have curly/wavy hair and a TON of it. Problem is that it’s very fine and it weighs itself down. It looks super bulky at the ends and flat on top. I need someone that is good at removing bulk/thinning out curly hair without ruining or exploding the curl. Have had a too many frizzy hair cuts in the past, that destroy my ends and look awful. I’m tired of trial and error and want a stylist that listens to what doesn’t work and can help me find what does work for my specific hair type. Anyone else have similar hair issues and has been able to find a good match for their hair?

This sub popped up in my feed and I saw something about a tournament so I made an oc because of it.

Cursed Technique: Another World
Another World is a cursed technique that primarily lets the user summon and command shikogami from special books. Reading aloud a book’s title while holding the book lets the user summon the shikogami within. In addition to summoning, his technique allows him to enter and hide inside intact books. The first book, titled “My Book”, is a small notebook that is actually indestructible. It is the first book obtained and differs from the rest as it actually summons cursed tools to aid the user by saying their name after the book title. The tools are as followed. Armor: summons and encases the user in a suit of samurai armor that protects the user. Sword: summons a katana that is indestructible and extremely sharp. Shield: an indestructible shield that can reflect attacks when imbued with enough cursed energy. Bow: a longbow that allows the user to shape their cursed energy into arrows to fire. Gun: a six shot revolver that uses the users cursed energy to reload. The user can summon and equip up to two of these tools at a time. They can return to the user and get unsummoned with “My Book”. This book is the only book that can be used in conjunction with another.
The second book is titled “Draconic Descent”. It is a story about a valiant knight scaling a tower to save a princess and slay a dragon along the way. The shikigami summoned from this book is named Drakonis. He is roughly 15 feet long and 7 feet tall. His body is covered in rust red scales with massive wings that double his length. Besides being intelligent with massive claws and powerful jaws, he can fly and shoot powerful flames from his gaping maw. He can even scatter small scales from his wings that are highly explosive.
The third book is titled “Fantastic Forest”. It’s a heartwarming tale about a pair of twins who get lost in the woods and saved by a fairy conclave. The shikigami summoned from this is called Wondaria. She is a great fairy of roughly three foot five clothed in attire made of leaves with two pairs of butterfly like wings. She has the capability of restoring cursed energy reserves with her kiss (once a day), healing injuries with her fairy dust from her bottom wings, and gifting one temporary flight with the dust from her top wings.
The fourth book is called “Necrotic Night”. It is the gutsy tale of a vampire hunter scouring the lands for the vampire that changed their life. The shikigami summoned from this book simply goes by The First. They stands at a towering eight feet tall with pale skin, massive fangs, glowing red eyes, and covered in a black cloak. The First possess super fast movement and brutal strength that is augment by its claws. They can drain the life force and cursed energy of creatures they bite and pass it onto another by biting them afterwards. By staring into their eyes for an extended amount of time (willpower dependent) they can hypnotize someone to follow the users commands for a time. Not only that, but they can summon a small swarm of bats from their cloak to harass enemies. Sadly their unique nature greatly weakens them in sunlight.
The fifth book is titled “Camp Canard”. It’s a terrifying tale of a sadistic killer who invades a summer camp for a killing spree. The shikogami summoned is called Raphael. They are a beefy man standing at six foot six wearing a simple brown coat with jeans and covering their face with a red balaclava that has a black cover the mouth and a plain black baseball cap. They are armed with a sling blade and a baseball bat with nails through it. They have monstrous strength and durability despite their regular appearance. Not only are they completely silent, but they possess the ability to teleport behind their target if they are not within the target’s view.
The sixth book is titled “Aliens Assemble”. It’s an intriguing tale of an alien that visits Earth and their journey with a group of humans. The shikigami summoned from this book goes by Grey. They are a bipedal creature with a very stereotypical appearance of grey aliens with its prominent feature being three pitch black eyes that allow them to perceive things as slower than they actually are. It wears a simple green spacesuit with a small yellow backpack type object and a matching belt with a ray gun holstered. Their gun can fire high intensity lasers or low energy stun blasts and they can fly by activating their backpack as a jet pack. They have a variety of gadgets, the most prominent being a universal translator, a machine that creates any type of food, an object with a seemingly infinite supply of water, and a short range teleporter. Their communicator also lets them contact their personal ship and mothership.
The seventh book is titled “Wacky Wasteland”. It’s the crazy tale of a group of survivors exploring a nuclear wasteland after an atomic apocalypse. The book summons a shikigami that goes by The Overlord. It’s a cylindrical metal tube filled with an unknown liquid of about ten feet with a small glass panel in the front and a computer towards the bottom. A human is merged to the front of the tube with a charred appearance and is connected to the computer via their feet. The Overlord has massive regenerative properties themselves and speaks in a voice that is either male, female, computerized, or a combination of these overlayed. They cannot physically move themselves but the tube they’re merged to can extract its flesh to summon humanoid mutants to do its bidding, and the computer can activate the tubes defensive systems to summon a variety of drones.
Domain Expansion: This Library of Mine
The domain expansion of Another World is a sprawling library. The library is at least two floors large with books falling out of the shelves and rolling ladders to reach the taller shelves. A shikigami that goes by The Librarian is at a desk behind the user. They are a woman made completely of paper with large book covers that look like wings. She can g control all books in the library and reforms herself from paper within. Once a user is in This Library of Mine they can control and summon any and all of their shikigami within. After studying Jujutsu for years William has also developed a couple of anti-barriedomain techniques as well. Esoteric Art: Cursed Rod erects a rod made of a users cursed energy that redirects a barriers sure hit attacks to it instead, though it’s not super durable. Secret Art: Sorcerer trap encompasses the user in a barrier that is essentially Hollow Wicker Basket but takes on the appearance of a lobster trap.
William has mastered Jujutsu to the extent that he is able to perform reverse cursed technique to a great extent. He is able to perform rct to every single one of his techniques. When he reverses a summon from a book instead of brining forth that shikigami, he will instead merge with it and receive their abilities and can converse with them mentally. For instance Cursed Technique Reversal: Draconic Descent will grant William Drakonis’ wings, Claws, and powerful jaws while gaining the abilities to fly, breathe fire, and use his explosive scales. He cant use his reverse techniques and any other at the same time and needs a moment to compose himself after the transformation ends.
He does carry a single cursed tool with him that is unrelated to his technique. It is simply called Bag of Booking and it is a shoulder bag with seemingly unlimited space. He uses it to carry all of his books for his technique.
As far as William as a person goes: For his skills, he has a masters degree in English, is bilingual in Japanese and English, has excellent katana swordsmanship and gun and bow wielding, great at problem solving and teaching with good creativity. He is a little aloof and shy, but is loyal to those he is close to and is slow to anger and fight. He likes to spend his free time reading new books and writing and connecting with his shikigami on a deeper level. The outdoors don’t appeal to him but he is more fit than an average man of his age due to his Jujutsu activities though he loves to spend time outside when it’s stormy. William himself usually wears a pair of jeans with a plain dress shirt that usually has a couple of buttons undone and a white or black shirt underneath. He generally rolls the sleeves up and has a watch on. His hair is well kept and shortish with a curly mustache and he wears a pair of black glasses.

2024.05.30 22:57 Condensed_Sleep [1.20.1] Having trouble using specific features of the Axiom Mod

Hi hi,
So, I've been working on putting together a kind of "forever modpack" geared toward building in creative. I started with FXNT's Create 2 modpack and modified it significantly (a lot more mods added, some removed). After a good deal of trial and error, it started running well. I've decided to make Axiom my main building tool, so having the mod is a dealbreaker. It's been working great up until now, and every other mod in the pack seems to be working fine (with maybe a few less-than-ideal compatibility situations).
Two features of the mod I recently discovered are autoshading and generating a color field of blocks. They're under the "Operations" menu in the build mode UI. Both of these operations immediately crash my game with the exit code "-1". Other operations work fine, like "fill" and "replace". I imagine it has something to due with the amount of additional blocks in the game, but even when specifying a vanilla-only color palette for the autoshade feature, the game crashes. Maybe it's a memory issue? Or a graphics driver out of date? I'm stumped. It's a LOT of mods and I'm trying to avoid going through one by one if I can.
I don't know how familiar this community is with the Axiom mod, but I thought I'd give it a go. Feel free to point me toward another sub if you think they can help. Also, let me know if there are any other files/specs that would be of use. Many thanks. I'm using FABRIC, by the way.
The most recent crash report is here:

2024.05.30 22:35 which_objective Confused about "cocktail attire with beach flair - example maxi dresses"

I'm super confused about what type of attire this wedding invite is suggesting. I wouldn't think a typical tropical maxi dress would fit into cocktail attire but a nicer floor-length dress would be too fancy for cocktail attire. Also, the wedding isn't happening on a beach, but it is outdoors in mid-September.
What sort of dress would you go with?

2024.05.30 22:17 steepscrimmage Redken's ABC Treatment > Olaplex No. 3

I have baby-fine, curly hair that's so low-density that my ears poke out through my hair when I wear it down. Needless to say, it's super-susceptible to breakage, but I've been determined for the last few years to see how long and healthy I can grow it and use all manner of techniques to achieve it (satin pillowcase + bonnet, rosemary oil on the scalp, overnight no-heat styling, minimal heat only on washdays, daily oiling of the ends, etc.) Even still, my mids stay wispy and my ends stay crispy from factors as simple and uncontrollable as the air being too dry or too humid.
Despite the uphill battle with this temperamental mop of mine, I've done damage control using Olaplex No. 3 weekly ever since the stuff first came out and have always been happy with the results, but definitely noticed diminishing returns after a while. Then, a year or two ago, I found the Blowout Professor and was impressed by how he only recommends products, based on one's hair type, that actually work instead of the typical brand-of-the-week affiliate partner nonsense. I bought what I could afford of his core recommendations and instantly saw a change for the better.
Lately, I decided to treat myself to the rest of his recommendations for my hair type, pricey as they are, and it's been a miraculous turn around! After only two uses with the full range, a regular at my job (who has no filter, but is a kind person regardless) asked how I "grew my hair back so fast" since it looks and feels not only healthy, but thicker to the point that a strand breaking sounds (and sometimes hurts on the scalp) like a rubber band snapping. My hair has body and bounce and shine that last for days, and it actually stays how I style it in the mornings all throughout the day so I haven't felt self-conscious about my ears poking out since!
But the product that made the absolute biggest difference, hands down, has to be Redken's Acidic Bonding Concentrate treatment. Like the Professor says, forget the shampoo and conditioner from that line. Just the treatment itself yields results so amazing that after just the first use, my hair looked and felt significantly thicker and more healthy than it ever has after years of loyalty to weekly Olaplex treatments and, comparatively, I only have to use a fraction of both the product and time to achieve it.
I swear this isn't some sort of paid advertising for him or any products, I'm just really impressed with both his expertise and the products, themselves, and wanted to share for anyone else going through the struggle!

2024.05.30 22:09 jamminout123 recently diagnosed

i was recently diagnosed with plaque psoriasis. it has spread to my legs, thighs, buttocks, arms, chest, and face. also my scalp. i’m currently waiting for my dermatologist to get shots approved by my insurance.
it has completely taken over my confidence. i’m wearing long sleeves in 90-100 degree weather because i have become so insecure. i just feel disgusting.
i wanted to ask for recommendations. is there any type of body wash that has helped anyone? shampoo/conditioner? i’m currently on a medicated shampoo but i have super curly (mixed) hair. it has been drying my hair out and making it fall out. what has worked for you guys?
