Mothman has always been one of my favorite crytids and when I first heard about him I was interested right away, I started looking up stories and trying to dig deeper into the legands and the back stories and I started to grow obsessed with the strange and unusual. now these stories used to keep me up at night as a kid and they still do but not in the way you think but more the way where I can’t stop thinking about them and I want to learn more. I am very intrigued with the thought that there is things in this world that seem, unusual, weird or even impossible and Mothman is one of those stories. The first time I heard about the Mothman was when my mother told me, now my mother, she believed the impossible and told me lots of stories, she was very into cryptids she believed in the jersey devil Bigfoot, Nessy, and all of the others. My mom was the kind of woman who had experienced so much that the strange and unusual was her every day normal. she really enjoyed listening to true crime and Podcasts and strange sightings so she had a lot of knowledge about these creatures and this is what she told me about the Mothman. me and my mother were just sitting at my mawmaws one evening when she started talking about this creature that I’ve never heard of before called Mothman. She told me a story about a huge black flying 7 foot figure in the sky with wings that were 10 feet long with red glowing eyes that was spotted in point Pleasant, West Virginia on November 15, 1966 she listened to podcasts and did a lot of research about this creature, so she knew the backstory. in point Pleasant, West Virginia there was a briged called the Silver Bridge. now this bridge was an eye-bar chain suspension bridge that was built in 1928, it carried U.S. Route 35 over the Ohio River, connecting point Pleasant, West Virginia to Gallipolis, Ohio but overtime was named point Pleasant Bridge. you will need to remember it. On November 16, 1966 a newspaper report was published that read couples, see man, size, bird, creature thing,
On November 15, 1966, just north of point pleasant two married couples, The scarberrys and the Malletts, were driving towards the TNT area when Linda Scarberry saw two red glowing lights and she didn’t know what they were, but as they were getting closer to the power plant the headlights of the car revealed a 7 foot humanoid creature with 10 foot wings, the couples were petrified at what they saw and the driver of the car Rodger scareberry drove as fast as they could back to the town of point Pleasant in there 57 chevy when the thing started chasing them and it let out this horrible piercing scream then rapidly took flight into the sky. Roger Scarberry drove over 100 miles down highway 62 to escape this creature that was hunting them down in the sky but this creature had incredible speed and was able to keep up with them the creature wanted them until they hit city limits where the beast flew away but later the couples decided to go back to see if he was still there or if they just all imagined it but when they came back, they noticed he was waiting for them the entire time, like he knew they were gonna come back, basically stalking them, when all of a sudden he took off vertically in to the sky at tremendous speed, when they decided to turn around and get the hell out of Dodge and they needed to get out fast before they became dinner and they never went back to look for him. they did go to police and the next day On November 16, 1966 a newspaper report was published that read couples, see man, size, bird, creature thing.
For the next couple of months hundreds of eyewitnesses have reported seeing the same humanoid.7 foot creature with 10 foot wings, spotted all over point pleasant and even at the Silver bridge where he has been seen for days sitting around the days leading up to the silver bridge disaster, then collapsed moments after he was spotted on December 15, 1967 which took 46 lives, Then he disappeared. people think he’s an demon that crawled out of the pits of hell or maybe he is really just a moth man. but I think he’s an angel of death because when he comes around, so does disaster and death.
if you ever visit point Pleasant, West Virginia, you need to stop by the Mothman museum. after I heard all the stories. My mom plan a trip for us to go see the Mothman museum and the big Mothman statue and it was one of the best trips I have ever been on, everyone so awesome and if you wanna learn more about the Mothman, I recommend going it truley opened my eyes.

Hello,
More than 10 years ago by now I had looked for Ceia online and had found special liquid scanners on their website. (Out of curiosity after having seen the name on a metal detector).
Those appear to have been specially designed for the liquid explosive threat that causes the 100 ml limit on most if not every flight since... Whenever it came.
The machine on the other hand can tell in seconds if a particular liquid actually poses a threat or if it's safe enough to be allowed to board the flight.
All the security officer has to do is to put the bottle, can or whatever container of liquid or paste inside the recess and to look for the word OK or its opposite on a colorful little screen to tell whether the liquid is safe or not.
The machine is about the size of a microwave according to the pictures I have seen online and they even thought of large or oddly-shaped containers that won't fit in it.
For those the officer can pour a sample of the supicious fluid into a tiny disposable cup that goes in a special holder on the side of the machine for it to be scanned the same way as described before.
I have seen pictures online but also a video of one of London's busiest airports and those liquid detectors could be seen in it.
So, if those machines exist and are in fact used at least by some airports, why do the restrictions still apply to passengers ?
Why can't they simply scan every container of liquid that passengers want to have in their carry-on and allow the harmless ones while rejecting those that actually raise the alarm ?

I work for a ‘special collections’ agency and I don’t think our customers are human.

I wasn’t exactly thrilled when, on the first night P’uy̓ám stayed with me, the moment we sat on the sofa he turned to me and asked, “Can we talk?”
I was tempted to sprint out the front door (like any perfectly reasonable and emotionally stable person would), but I’m proud to say that I managed to fight that instinct. The talk ended up basically being ‘did I mind that he wasn’t human’. I told him no, he’s the smartest, nicest person I know, and I think he’s amazing. I asked him if he minded that I am human, and he told me he didn’t care about that. He said I make him laugh, and spending time with me makes him happy and want to be the best version of himself. He did also say that I’m beautiful and a lot smarter than I claim I am, but I chalk up those last two to him being super nice, because if asked to describe myself, the two words I’d probably use would be, ‘loud’ and ‘confused’.
We just stared at each other awkwardly for a moment after that, neither of us seemed entirely sure what to do – it was the first time we’d actually been alone together since ‘the kiss’.
Just when we’d figured it out (and no, internet stranger, I’m not going to be sharing any more specific details, thanks), a knock on the door and the sound of Sandy’s voice outside interrupted us.
“Oh hey hon. I just wanted to make sure you were still alive.” She smiled once I jumped up to open it.
Her eyes drifted to P’uy̓ám who waved awkwardly from the couch, glasses askew.
“Well alrighty then, I guess I’ll be going.” She just stood there, looking a bit lost.
I realized that was the first night she’d come home to any empty house after having company for a month straight – I guess even unspeakable horrors get lonely too.
“Sandy, do you want to come in and watch a movie with us?” I offered after a moment.
“Oh, you betcha!” she brightened and then proceeded to choose the seat between us. I swear she’s got psychic chaperone powers or something.
I suggested that maybe the three of us could do a game night every month, since we figured it’d be nice to catch up outside of just when we were trying to prevent the world was ending. I must say though, I thought Sandy was intense as a supervisor but she is a thousand times more frightening as a poker player – and we don’t even play for money.
I joked that we needed to take her to a casino, but she very seriously replied, “Oh I’m banned from every one in the state.”
I moved apartments after a month had passed without hearing from Yyohn. I’d been waiting to be absolutely sure, because I didn’t want to saddle a new renter with the whole, ‘you might be pulled into a nightmare world and sacrificed to an interdimensional entity’ thing – that would’ve been really inconsiderate.
I was so appreciative that P’uy̓ám stayed with me for a while. I may write with bravado when describing things in retrospect, but the very real possibility of being dragged through a reflective surface silently in the night never to be seen again, did freak me out.
It was also nice to finally spend some time together where we weren’t worrying about the imminent demise of either myself or our plane of existence (well no more than we usually have to worry, at least).
We decided not to tell anyone at the office that we're dating, it's easier that way. Well, I mean, Sandy knows since she did witness our first kiss whilst they were burying me alive.
As the time approached for our trip, I just really hoped that after not seeing P’uy̓ám for decades, maybe his family would welcome him back this time, forgive him for the minor transgression of ‘leaving home’ (yes, I’m still salty that they pretty much disowned him for that.) I figured if he didn’t, maybe he could get some closure, he could at least see the places where he grew up – homesickness had very clearly been really eating at him ever since we went into the woods for team building.
When we were planning our trip, he told me he’s never liked planes and was hoping to avoid flying. Considering ‘traveling on business’ in our line of work isn’t exactly defined as moving across physical space, it made some sort of sense.
He said it was something about not having solid ground under his feet, but when we mapped it out, it was over 5,000 miles round trip – so we could either spend 40 hours in a car, or 6 hours on a plane, each way.
He decided to give flying a shot.
People sometimes struggle to pronounce my first and last names off my driver’s license or credit cards, but they’ll at least try. As we were checking in the lady at the desk ended with, “Thank you Mr….” and then after staring at his driver’s license in silence for a few moments just gave up and handed it back to him.
I get it though, I mean, if I hadn’t heard him pronounce his last name, I would’ve never guessed it on my own – I’d just never encountered a ‘7’ in a name before I met him.
The security guy at the airport spent a long time studying P’uy̓ám’s passport. He stared at P’uy̓ám, then the passport with narrowed eyes. Back to him, then the passport, several times before eventually shrugging and handing it back over. I peeked at it before he put it away and noticed it said he was born in 1960 – and he may be 233, but he looks like he’s in his early thirties at most, so that explained the look of disbelief written on the agent’s face.
When I asked him about it, he said it’s a lot of work to fake all the documents needed to make the date match his outward appearance.
“It was a lot easier before there were electronic records.” He smiled.
I warned him that he should probably update that soon – bureaucratic apathy would only get him so far.
As we waited in the security line, his eyes widened when he saw people go through the body scanner, and he asked me what it was. When I told him, he turned pale and said he couldn’t go through it.
That left me with some questions.
“P’uy̓ám, when was the last time you flew?”
He had to think about that for a moment. “1986?”
“Yeahhhh… I’m pretty sure you can ask not to, but they’ll probably pat you down if you skip it.”
He grew even paler at that.
“Do you want the scan, or the hands?”
He ran his fingers through his hair and shook his head, indicating that he wanted neither, which unfortunately for him was not an option.
I squeezed his hand, which helped calm him down – only letting go when it was time to show our IDs, and even then, only after the TSA officer glared at us
It’s a good thing we got there early, because when they asked if he’d emptied his pockets, he said no.
So, I watched him remove:
We both got out of line so he could check his bag and keep his tools – and I didn’t want him to have to go through it again by himself.
I hated seeing that look of misery on his face – I tried to maintain comforting eye contact with him as they patted him down.
They did let him keep the dirt with him, after scanning it since it’s apparently not prohibited, (just weird). He proceeded to stick it in one of his beat-up Converse before putting his shoes back on.
I understood the dirt – since he mentioned something about solid ground, I guessed it was as close as he was going to get on a plane – and even the multitool and knife.
But, when I asked him why he was trying to bring 16g of RAM into rural Canada in his pockets he just smiled, “You never know when you might need it.”
As soon as we boarded, I realized flying had been a terrible idea. He had a hard time fitting his legs in since he’s so tall – his knees were just jammed in there the whole time. Before we took off, some guy elbowed him in the face while trying to load a bag into the bin and P’uy̓ám said ‘I’m sorry’ to him. I glared at the guy until he apologized.
Everything freaked him out and he gripped the arm rests for dear life the entire flight. The sound of the wheels, staring out at the wings and the little flaps every time they moved (“Are those supposed to be doing that?” to which I could only unhelpfully shrug), the turbulence. I was just glad they let him keep the dirt.
He looked so absolutely horrified during the entire flight and I felt so bad for him. Before we even landed, I asked him if he wanted to drive on the way back instead of flying and he instantly said yes, relief written across his face.
We had to rent a car to get to his hometown, and it took us an extra two hours to get there because there were so many places he wanted to stop and show me, like this amazing waterfall off highway 99. I could’ve done without the constant feel of eyes on us despite us being alone, but it was definitely beautiful, at least.
We began to see signs for this little touristy shop. As we kept driving, the billboards seemed to multiply, until they were at almost every mile. At my insistence, we stopped.
I regretted that decision as soon as we walked in – the place was devoid of life, there were no other customers, no employees – and something about how the dim, blueish lights cast shadows across the shelves gave me a searing headache.
Not to mention the items on the shelves themselves – a mildewy hoodie, that had ‘Someone who loves me visited Oklahoma and bought me this sweatshirt!’ written in fading letters.
It seemed more like a second hand shop than a tourist trap.
I’d found a beaded purse, but it had a wallet and driver's license still in it.
As we wandered, a case of jewelry across the store caught my eye and drew me towards it – it was insane how beautiful each piece was – all so captivating, and each one was totally unique. They looked almost like blown glass – swirling golds and blues in one, sharp magentas with specs of green in another.
As I was leaning in closely, studying them – it almost looked as if they were moving a bit in their case – someone whispered directly into my ear from over my shoulder, “Thanks for stopping in”
The guy appeared out of nowhere to lean in over my shoulder, causing me to scream (just a reasonable amount).
Creeper dude walked around to position himself behind the counter, asked if I wanted to see anything, before pausing to study my face for a moment. His eyes drifted down to the pendant that P’uy̓ám made me, the one for ‘I’m totally not a human, please don’t eat me’ purposes.
“Oh, this is beautiful”, he whispered, before deciding to violate my personal space by lifting it up and holding it.
His demeanor instantly changed from a handsy salesperson to something else entirely – his grin widened and he looked a little too excited.
“Have you signed our guest book?” He gripped my left wrist tightly, shoved a pen into my right, and studied me in a way that told me he wouldn’t let go until I signed it.
“Can I switch hands please?”
He had the audacity to look at me as if I had mildly inconvenienced him, but did let me switch after I told him that was the only way he’d get actual, readable, words.
I flipped through the thick, yellowing pages to find a blank one and signed it ‘Mikayla G. and P’uy̓ám K.’
“Last names too.”
I sighed and wrote ‘Mikayla Garabedian and P’uy̓ám K--’ (I just wrote random letters after the K because I didn’t like how pushy he was being. )
“Exquisite, aren’t they?” he asked me with a smile, gesturing down at the jewelry. The small piece streaked with yellow and pinks was definitely shuddering in response to him pointing at it.
I nodded, but more out of politeness at that point, because he still had my wrist in a death grip.
“Mikayla, Wait.” I could hear P’uy̓ám call out in the distance, but I felt frozen there – it sounded like he was miles away
“Would you like to see how they’re made?”
Before I could answer, he leaned in and put a stone that resembled the others in shape and size, the only difference is that it was just plain, totally clear – into my hand, which he closed around it. It was like glass, but weightier, and where it touched my skin it burned slightly.
I could hear P’uy̓ám calling my name as he came sprinting over, right as the guy read my name off the guestbook.
P’uy̓ám gasped, but I didn’t understand why he was so freaked out.
Literally nothing happened.
P’uy̓ám helped me free my wrist from creepy guy’s crazy strong grip and sassily smacked the book out of his hands, before he could read it again.
And still, nothing happened.
The guy looked at us with narrowed eyes – a look P’uy̓ám returned, with even more intensity. The guy hissed at us as P’uy̓ám guided me out of the store.
Once we got to the parking lot, P’uy̓ám pulled me close to him and put his chin on the top of my head while quietly muttered that he wasn’t sure how I was unaffected – calling someone their true name is how all those other pendants got filled.
He hadn’t realized at first, but when he saw another collection of ‘items made from tourists’ (I made him repeat that to ensure I’d heard that correctly but he didn’t expound on what the ‘items’ were and I was a bit afraid to ask) in the back, he knew.
That was when P’uy̓ám ran over to me, but the guy already begun to read my name, so he was worried it was too late.
He was relieved when I saw that I didn’t provide either of our actual full names – I’ve learned that sharing your entire, true name isn’t a great idea, not with non-humans, probably not with the internet in general.
Mikayla is what I go by, but it’s my middle name – I mean, my sister’s name is ‘Hasmig’, so yeah, I have a fairly traditional first name, too. And no, I’m not sharing it here.
Look, I’m not saying that you’re going to come track me down and try to bind my soul to an inanimate object to then sell to tourists. But, after that ordeal, I’d rather not take that risk.
When I turned back around, the entire store was just … gone.
Apparently since I’m subletting a part of my soul (or as I like to say, ‘mildly possessed’), P’uy̓ám says mine was probably even more fascinating to the guy.
Due to our detours, it was getting dark by the time we reached P’uy̓ám’s family home.
Even in the low light, I could see the apprehension clearly written across his face. I wondered if he thought I was kidding about pummeling his family with my thousand page book if they were shitty to him. (Because I wasn’t)
The entire time, I’d thought that the worst thing that could happen would be that they rejected him – as we pulled up to the dark house, I realized just how very wrong I was. _

Anyone who remembers the early days of YouTube (2005-2014) will remember those 9/11 TRUTH videos were all over the site, then around 2014 they were WIPED from it. Ok, my question is, what of the following list that I remember do you ALSO remember?
  1. There was a short, 17-second video of police officers near WTCs telling people to get back because they were hearing explosions in the basement of the Towers (after the planes had hit and BEFORE they actually had collapsed). This video was unique because it was recorded on a CELL PHONE, which was rare for 2001 and rare among the 9/11 truth videos as well...
  2. There was a longer video detailing everyone who died AFTER 9/11 who supposedly KNEW TOO MUCH. Most had died by "suicide" according to the video but a lot had died in freak accidents? In either case, its implied the 9/11 conspirators had them killed.
  3. Donald Rumsfeld had slipped up in a video and said the plane that crashed in Shanksville, PA had been "shot down" (flight 93)?

Paul Haggis wrote the script on spec, and it took four years to sell it. The film was stuck in development hell for years before it was shot. It's a companion film to Flags of Our Fathers, and portrays the Battle of Iwo Jima from the perspective of the Japanese soldiers.
In the process of reading about the Japanese perspective of the war for Flags of Our Fathers, in particular General Tadamichi Kuribayashi, Eastwood decided to film a companion piece with this film, which was shot entirely in Japanese. The film was shot back-to-back, starting filming just one month after Flags of Our Fathers wrapped filming.
Despite being seen as the least accessible of both films, this film was much more successful at the box office than the previous film (including a colossal $42 million in Japan alone). It also received critical acclaim, particularly for how it handed the depiction of good and evil from both sides. It received 4 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director.

Changeling (2008)

"To find her son, she did what no one else dared."
His 28th film. It stars Angelina Jolie and John Malkovich, and is based on real-life events, specifically the 1928 Wineville Chicken Coop murders in Mira Loma, California. It follows a woman united with a boy who she realizes is not her missing son. When she tries to demonstrate that to the police and city authorities, she is vilified as delusional, labeled as an unfit mother and confined to a psychiatric ward.
The film earned $113 million worldwide, barely breaking even at the box office. The film received mixed reviews, but Jolie received praise for her performance. She was nominated for the Oscar for Best Actress.

Gran Torino (2008)

"Ever come across somebody you shouldn't have messed with?"
His 29th film. It stars Eastwood, and follows Walt Kowalski, a recently widowed Korean War veteran alienated from his family and angry at the world, whose young neighbor, Thao Vang Lor, is pressured by his cousin into stealing Walt's prized Ford Torino for his initiation into a gang. Walt thwarts the theft and subsequently develops a relationship with the boy and his family.
The film received great reviews, as well as praise from the Hmong community. It ended up becoming a sleeper hit, and it earned $270 million worldwide, becoming his highest grossing film.

Invictus (2009)

"His people needed a leader. He gave them a champion."
His 30th film. It stars Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon. Following the aftermath of the apartheid, President Nelson Mandela decides to unite his people by supporting a rugby team in their bid to win the 1995 Rugby World Cup.
The film earned $122 million worldwide, barely breaking even. It received positive reviews, and Freeman and Damon received Oscar nominations for their performances.

Hereafter (2010)

"Touched by death. Changed by life."
His 31st film. It stars Matt Damon, Cécile de France, Bryce Dallas Howard, Lyndsey Marshal, Jay Mohr and Thierry Neuvic. An American with a special connection to the afterlife, a woman with a near-death experience and a young English boy, who lost his loved ones, cross paths in an effort to find closure in their lives.
Despite mixed reviews, it managed to earn $107 million, turning a small profit.

J. Edgar (2011)

"The most powerful man in the world."
His 32nd film. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Armie Hammer, Naomi Watts, Josh Lucas, and Judi Dench, and follows the career of FBI director J. Edgar Hoover, focusing on Hoover's life from the 1919 Palmer Raids onward.
The film received mixed reviews; while DiCaprio received praise, the technical aspects of the film were criticized. It earned $84 million, making it a box office success, but far below what DiCaprio usually makes at the box office.

Jersey Boys (2014)

"Everybody remembers it how they need to."
His 33rd film. Base on the 2004 jukebox musical, it stars John Lloyd Young, Erich Bergen, Michael Lomenda, Vincent Piazza and Christopher Walken, and tells the story of the musical group The Four Seasons.
It received mixed reviews, with praise for the musical numbers but criticism for the narrative and runtime, and failed at the box office.

American Sniper (2014)

"The most lethal sniper in U.S. history."
His 34th film. It is based on the memoir by Chris Kyle, Scott McEwen and Jim DeFelice, and stars Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller. The film follows the life of Kyle, who became the deadliest marksman in U.S. military history with 255 kills from four tours in the Iraq War, 160 of which were officially confirmed by the Department of Defense. While Kyle was celebrated for his military successes, his tours of duty took a heavy toll on his personal and family life.
In 2012, Cooper and Warner Bros. bought the rights to the memoir. Cooper wanted Chris Pratt to star as Kyle, but WB told him they would only greenlight the film if he stars in it. After Kyle's murder in 2013, Steven Spielberg signed to direct. Spielberg had read Kyle's book, though he desired to have a more psychological conflict present in the screenplay so an "enemy sniper" character could serve as the insurgent sharpshooter who was trying to track down and kill Kyle. Spielberg's ideas contributed to the development of a lengthy screenplay approaching 160 pages. Due to Warner Bros.' budget constraints, Spielberg felt he could not bring his vision of the story to the screen. So Eastwood was brought in to direct.
The film attained a solid, but not extraordinary response from critics. It also attracted some controversy over its portrayal of both the Iraq War and Kyle himself.
The box office though?
To say that the film had a fantastic run would be selling it short.
It opened on Christmas Day in 4 theaters, and it earned a huge $633,456 ($158,364 PTA). But the following weekend, it actually increased despite playing at the same amount of theaters, adding $676,909. That translated to a $169,227 PTA, becoming the highest second weekend PTA in history for a live-action film. And on its third weekend, it earned $579,518 ($144,879 PTA), becoming the first film to have three weekends above $100,000 PTA. In the 22 days it played in just 4 theaters, it earned $3,424,778.
On its first wide weekend, the film shook the industry by opening with a colossal $89 million. That was almost as much as the other 2014 blockbusters, and given that the film didn't have 3D pricing, it's very likely it sold far more tickets than them. It broke the January opening weekend record by twice as much, and the second biggest for an R-rated title. With insane word of mouth ("A+" on CinemaScore), this film had the legs. In less than one week, it became Eastwood's highest grossing film domestically. On its second weekend, it dropped just 28% and made $64 million, which was the biggest second weekend for an R-rated film (a record it still maintains) and crossed $200 million domestically. And by March, the film overtook The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 ($334 million) as the highest grossing 2014 film in North America.
After an insane run in theaters, it closed with a gigantic $350 million domestically, which made it the second highest grossing R-rated film in North America. Overseas, it was also very strong, and it made a huge $547 million worldwide. It was easily Eastwood's highest grossing film, even adjusted for inflation. One of the greatest box office runs in recent memory.
The biggest surprise of the 2010s? Perhaps. Cause let's face it, when 2014, did any of you had this as the top film of the year? Or even in the Top 20? Please.

Sully (2016)

"The untold story behind the miracle on the Hudson."
His 35th film. Based on the autobiography Highest Duty by Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger and Jeffrey Skiles, it stars Tom Hanks, Aaron Eckhart, Laura Linney, Anna Gunn, Autumn Reeser, Holt McCallany, and Jamey Sheridan. The film follows Sullenberger's 2009 emergency landing of US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson River, in which all 155 passengers and crew survived and the subsequent publicity and investigation.
The film received strong reviews, and earned over $240 million worldwide, becoming one of his highest grossing films.

The 15:17 to Paris (2018)

"The real heroes."
His 36th film. Based on the autobiography by Jeffrey E. Stern, Spencer Stone, Anthony Sadler, and Alek Skarlatos, it stars Stone, Sadler, and Skarlatos as themselves and follows the trio through life leading up to and including their stopping of the 2015 Thalys train attack.
Despite choosing Kyle Gallner, Jeremie Harris and Alexander Ludwig as the leads, Eastwood decided to cast the heroes to play themselves, which was met with confusion as they lacked acting experience. And that was reflected on the final film; it received negative reviews for its acting, and it bombed at the box office.

The Mule (2018)

"Nobody runs forever."
His 37th film. Based on the 2014 The New York Times article The Sinaloa Cartel's 90-Year-Old Drug Mule by Sam Dolnick, it stars Eastwood, Bradley Cooper, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Peña, Dianne Wiest, and Andy García. Due to financial issues, horticulturist Earl Stone becomes a courier for a drug cartel. Slowly, he grows closer to his estranged family, but his illegal activities threaten much more than his life.
It received good reviews (although some questioned its story and tone), and earned over $173 million worldwide.

Prior to Kevin 11
Dr. Psychobos had begun creating the Antitrix to try to overcome Azmuth's new invention, the Omnitrix. Although, it doesn't work properly and the Cerebrocrustacean sends it away deeming it a failure, landing two days after Ben Tennyson got the Omnitrix. Kevin Levin finds it and after the Antitrix had being bonded with him, the device was somehow repaired, granting Levin the cross-contaminated alien DNA to turn into a monstrous, mutated hybrid from Ben's 10 original aliens playlist.
Antitrix Features:
Active Mode: The Antitrix can keep the user in alien form per 5 to 15 minutes, being the usage time longer than that of the Omnitrix, which is 10 minutes.
Size Alteration: The Antitrix can alter its size to fit the user's wrist.
Quick Change: The Antitrix has a quick-change feature, allowing Kevin to change forms by pressing the symbol on the aliens' chests. This, however, uses Antitrix energy and reduces usage time considerably.
Master Control: The Antitrix has a feature akin to Master Control, allowing the user to mentally choose the next alien to turn into. To unlock this feature, the user needs to make a series of combinations on the watch (similar to what Ben accidentally did in "Back with Vengeance" on his Omnitrix).
Amalgamation: With a lot of practice, Antitrix can transform the user into an amalgamation of all his unlocked aliens, allowing them to use all of their powers at once. Unlike Kevin 11's Amalgam originally, Kevin is able to return to his human form, as he can do so of his own free will.
Kevin 11
Ben still gets himself and his family kicked out of the hotel after being caught playing the new Sumo Slammer videogame, having a heated argument with Max and storming out the RV, going to Total Zone. Inside, Ben boots up a baseball-batting game, but loses.
Ben: This place is a ripoff, you know that?
Kevin: You're right. The games were stink.
Ben and Kevin starts talking, until Kevin spots two thuggish kids behind Ben.
Kevin: I have to deal with a nuisance now...
Kevin walks towards the gang, getting ready to reveal his Antitrix that was under his black coat and turn into some alien, but before he could do anything, Ben as XLR8 had defeated the group
Kevin: Wait, this thing looks like one of my aliens...
XLR8 waves to Kevin and zooms away. Outside the arcade, Kevin reunites with Ben and the boys walk away from Gwen. Arriving at an abandoned subway station, both reveal their watchs, turning into some aliens to show to each other.
Come nighttime, they go to the warehouse to steal the Sumo Slammer video games, but the police arrives.
Kevin: Ready for action?
Both slam their Omnitrix, turning into Stinkfly (Ben) and Skunkmoth (Kevin). Now transformed, they fly out the entrance, knocking back some soldiers and being chased by helicopters. The Lepidopterrans flies toward the Statue of Liberty, dodging the gun shots. To get rid of them, Kevin flies over the helicopters and shoots his slime projectile, causing the propeller to stop working and causing the helicopters with the soldiers to fall into the water. Ben and Kevin make their way to the city, de-transforming back to human in a lone alley. Posteriorly, in a subway station, Kevin and Ben hop over the ticket checks. They come into the empty station, which has two tracks on the floor. Kevin explains his plan: A money train loaded with cash was gonna come down that track, so when it crashes into the incoming passenger train, the money would fly and with their speedster forms, they would steal everything and leave.
Ben, then realizing Kevin's intentions, dissolves his partnership with him and charges towards him, only to be thrown to the ground. Kirby Tennyson then activate the Omnitrix and tries to turns into Four Arms, but actually turns into Heatblast.
Heatblast: Ugh, stupid watch.
Kevin: Unlike yours...
Kevin activates the Antitrix and turns into Quad Smack.
Quad Smack: ...my "Omnitrix" let me transform into the alien i want to wreck you...
Ben fires a burst of fire, but Kevin charges through by crossing his arms to defend himself, getting close enough to Pyronite to punch his face and send him flying into the wall of the subway station, Heatblast tries to regain consciousness, but Quad Smack grabs his leg, spinning him around and throwing him even further away, causing the wall to break and they begin to fight outside. Kevin runs towards Ben again to hit him, but Tennyson uses his fire teleport to get behind him, creating fire disks which makes the Tetramand retreat. Heatblast starts to launch several fireballs, trying to keep as much distance as possible, as he knew that in melee combat, he would be easily defeated by Kevin.
Quad Smack: You're really getting on my nerves, Tennyson...
Quad Smack slams the ground, creating a shock wave that interrupts the fire attacks; Kevin grabs his head and start repeatedly flung him into the ground.
Heatblast: GET OFF ME!
Heatblast amplifies his fire, causing Kevin to flinch, then the plasma-based alien kicks him with a blazing slide
Heatblast: I'm losing time here... still have to stop that train from crashing...
Ben returns to the train station, but when he was about to shoot fire at the track switch, he is interrupted by a quick attack
Rush: Don't even think about it, flaming head...
Heatblast tries to counterattack, but the speedster was too much for him and Ben de-transforms, getting defeated on the floor.
Ben: How can you change forms so quickly?
Rush: Does your Omnitrix not have this function? It sucks more than I imagined, apparently...
They both start hearing the train horn and without anyone to stop it, it crashes, killing the people inside.
Rush: Jackpot! It's raining money!
Rush: Now I have to resolve some pending issues with some kids. See ya!
Kevin runs with the money and goes after the thuggish kids from before. Meanwhile, Ben returns to the Rust Bucket, apologizing to Max. Mere apologies would not suffice this time; this was by far the most irresponsible thing Ben had done, leading to the deaths of hundreds of people on that train. However, for now, Max decides to listen to what Ben has to say. Ben discusses Kevin's powers, noting that his transformations are even more potent than his own. He speculates that Kevin may be under the 39th Street bridge, seeking revenge on the thugs.
The RV gets stuck in traffic, and Ben tries to transform into Stinkfly but instead turns into Four Arms, using his enhanced jumping to reach the location. At the hideout, Ben meets Kevin as Crystalfist, who was trapping the four kids with his crystals. The Tetramand initiates a contest of strength against the Petrosapien, both evenly matched until Ben uses his four arms to push Kevin against the wall. Max and Gwen arrive, managing to free the kids from the crystals. Four Arms charges at Kevin once more but is interrupted by a wall of crystals. Breaking through the barrier, he rushes at Kevin again, shattering his two arms completely.
Four Arms: What do you think about this, freak?
Crystalfist: Not impressed...
Crystalfist regenerates his limbs and forms a crystal sword, which strikes Four Arms' chest, tearing his suit. The Petrosapien touches the ground, transforming it into crystal thorns that ensnare Four Arms' feet. Before he can finish the fight, Gwen and Max distract him by throwing a tire at his head.
Crystalfist: Don't interrupt the fight, idiots!
Four Arms frees himself from the crystals, punching Kevin in the face repeatedly, sending him flying back into a column of the bridge. The Tetramand approaches him, preparing to deliver one final blow, but Kevin presses the Antitrix symbol, transforming into Phantasm and becoming intangible. He phases behind Ben and launches a debilitating attack in his mind (similar to what Ghostfreak did to Thumbskull in "Ghostfreaked out").
Four Arms is defeated and de-transforms, but Kevin also starts de-transforming. He becomes intangible, disappearing from Team Tennyson's sight. The next morning, the Rust Bucket leaves the city, and Max reminds Ben that he must earn back his trust. Nothing can undo the deaths of the innocents on the train, nor can anything guarantee that Kevin will stop his criminal acts.
The end...

I(38M) was held in County Jail for 18 months (I couldn't afford bail) until I was proven innocent all on Hearsay back in 2013-14. I've spent years of therapy to cope and still have a hard time. Obviously a throw away. Back story, I got a divorce in 2010 and was awarded Primary Custody of My Son. Fast forward a year later and my ex wife stopped showing up for her weekend visitation for about 6 months, it devastated my son, she missed holidays, birthday. So at this time its 2012 and I file for sole custody because she still does not want to be in my sons life.
Once I was awarded sole custody, my ex wife made accusations about me to the police that I was in possession of numerous servers (described as racks and racks of servers worth) of the type of porn you don't want to be accused of having. A little pretext, in my state, Hearsay is admissible by law. You see, my ex wife promised the local police department a gold mine so massive that child services would have no choice to take my son away and return him to his mother. I was arrested at my place of work, and was booked into my local County Jail. The police tore my townhouse apart, took all my electronics (still have not gotten them back) and found nothing. By than, my ex wife was gone, she took a flight from the local international airport and went to El Salvador, where her lives, with my son. (My Ex wife is from the states). They held me for 30 days on "Fugitive of justice" charges while they tried to figure out what to do with me, and the case. I went to a bail hearing, and the judge set the bail based on the complaint of a treasure trove of very bad stuff, so bail was set at $200,000.
So I sat, and waited, and waited. 31 days in and the DA decided there going to go away and press charges and did not think it was odd they could not get ahold of my ex wife to go over her story again(my Public Defender told me this). First thing they did was tell me I was facing 250 years or I could sign a plea deal for 20 years. They asked me if I would take a polygraph after I declined there offer. Of course I accepted the offer to take a polygraph, I had nothing to hide. for the next year, YES, YEAR, I did not see my public defender or a court room. Than one day 18 months in, my public defender comes to see me and tells me they want me to take a polygraph right now, because a new DA reviewed my file. They took me to the basement of the jail, I took a polygraph, and the next day I was released at 3am with the clothes I came in with. AMA as its become therapeutic to talk about it now.

Observer Wu was not sure about this next call. There had been rumours, rumours stories and absurdities from first to last. But this was one he would need to investigate thoroughly. He steels his face to a neutral position as the call goes through.
“You’re on a drone observing. I am working.” Is the first thing that comes through. A voice simultaneously deep but accompanied with a chorus of tingling bells. The image shows an enormous figure that appears to be primarily composed of shimmering white fur looking over the 3D model of a building as he directs things through the air with his right hand. Support structures, beams and building materials all soar at his direction and quickly slam themselves into place to quickly construct a large structure. “I am capable of speaking as I work, so if you have questions then ask them.”
“I am Observer Wu from Earth. I am looking for Mister Blue.
“I am one of the Blues.” The enormous figure states. “Jasper Blue, also Emmanuel Skitterway.”
The camera zooms in before something white catches onto it and it’s forced back. “Apologies, the drone is not of the best quality.”
“I would assume that a... God Emperor would have better?”
“I am directing these resources into infrastructure. Things like this sewage processing plant will not build themselves and the components that the camera drone requires are better spent ensuring that pathogens are kept out of the water, or that a medical scanner has appropriate redundancies.” Emmanuel replies as the panelling to the outside of the building start attaching itself at his direction and they’re quickly left with a solid looking structure with numerous tanks to the side.
“Alright the building is finished! Painters! Have your way with it!” He calls out and numerous people rush up with decorating supplies. “There is more for me to do. While many of the relief ships arrived with prefabricated buildings there was an unfortunate and nearly universal blindspot in their considerations.”
“Which is?”
“That while the world is settled by many respects, it was at a late iron age level at best, borderline tribal in other areas. Sewage treatment and sanitation concerns like that are simply not in their proper place. Every major and minor settlement requires a massive overhaul of it’s infrastructure in order to bring the living standards up to even industrial levels, let alone galactic levels.” Emmanuel states.
“This seems rather menial for someone ostensibly in charge of an entire planet.”
“Delegation. I have any communications and status updates relayed to me through that pursuing drone, it’s a hand’s free system, so while it is not always at one hundred percent satisfaction it allows me to lead while I also work. After all, many of the legislative concerns can be easily taken care of by my numerous assistants, but only a handful of people have the sanitation know how and willingness to work and put together sewage containment.”
“A little demeaning for one worshipped as a god.”
“I am a Primal. I’m going to be regarded as such whether I indent a throne with an ever widening rear or gunk out sewer lines, and of the two only one of them actually makes things better.” Emmanuel dismisses.
“Really. Yet you’re still not getting dirty.”
“I could do things less efficiently to look like I’ve been working hard, but honestly it’s all in the Axiom. The truth of the matter is that sewer work with even just a small amount of technology is more boring than dirty.” Emmanuel states before turning, the camera turns with him. It now shows where an entire army of workers are installing the pipes and systems for a proper sewage network. “Still, not bad eh? One year ago this place was an abandoned wreck of a smaller city. The population all but mind controlled by a group of religious fanatics who convinced them to abandon their homes and any dignity. They’ve come a long way since.” Emmanuel states.
“Have they?”
“This was the Greenstone Alliance Territory, a breakaway state from The Empire of Miru. To them the cannon was the military innovation rocking the nation.”
“I see...”
“Now they get air conditioning, indoor plumbing, heating in the winter, canned food for the leaner months, telephones to speak with their loved ones over a distance, radio for alerts and entertainment and far more.” Emmanuel states as he indicates an antenna being set up.
“All that?” Observer Wu remarks. “You seem a little... involved for a supposed god.”
“There are two so called gods on this world.” Emmanuel replies. “I, who have personally conquered much of it, wheeled and dealed with other nations and proved myself as warrior and leader both, and Yserizan. Yserizan is either the mother, grandmother or great grandmother of at least a quarter of the world population.”
“And your relationship to this Yserizan?”
“One of my wives. Our union was also a unification of Lablan as a single strong point on this world and...”
“What’s this?” A new voice asks and the camera reorients to a young woman with glowing golden hair.
“Just a camera drone, nothing to be concerned about.” Emmanuel states.
“Oh. So it’s watching us?”
“Yes.”
“And the image of the person on top of it?”
“The person watching.”
“Who is he?”
“Observer Wu.”
“And why is an Observer needed?”
“Do you recall whenever Earth or the Origins of Humanity are discussed?”
“A little? Every time I seem to get a little bit more education it just lets me see how much more there is.”
“Oh that’s very normal.” Emmanuel replies.
“If I may be introduced?” Observer Wu asks.
“I am Empress Zaviah Enlightened Luxen Divine Ascendant, ruler of Miru Reborn.”
“Miru Reborn is?”
“One of the largest empires upon Lakran. Consisting of Central Miru, The Greenstone Territories of Northern Miru and The Goldlands Unification of Southern Miru. Our population is primarily Erumenta of all types, but other peoples are of course welcome.”
“And what brought about this rebirth?” Observer Wu asks and his eyebrows go up as Zaviah points right at Emmanuel.
“Heh, guilty. Everywhere I turned the planet seemed to just be full of more and more problems that needed to stop sometime ten years ago and no one else was available. So I did the best I could.”
“And then broke armies, nations and all known limits upon people.”
“All presently known limits, what I did is only impressive when it’s weighed in that I started with only Horace’s memories and didn’t even understand how an Urthani body fully worked at the time.” Emmanuel states.
“Yes. I read that report. It was absurd.”
“It was accurate. We have all the parties involved to attest for it here on planet if you care to speak with them.” Emmanuel notes as he checks a device and nods. “All right, next is...”
“Break.” Zaviah tells him.
“Excuse me.”
“Grandmother has given ME the authority to force you into rest father!” Zaviah says with relish in her tone.
“She wouldn’t!”
“She has! If I see that you’re working too hard I can tell you to stop.”
“You do know she legally has no such authority over me right?” Emmanuel asks pointing a diamond plated claw at the comparatively tiny Erumenta who’s grinning widely at this.
“Yes, but she’ll be so disappointed that her little boy isn’t taking care of himself anymore even though he promised to and...”
“It was a mistake working so hard to make the two of you friends.” Emmanuel says in a note of false despair. “Just a moment I’ll instruct the work crew on the next few communities to proceed without me.”
“That sounds like work.”
“A text to go with Plan B rather than Plan A is not work, it’s good manners.” Emmanuel protests and raises an eye ridge as a much smaller girl tries to glare him down. “Are you sure you want to put so much force into your day by day interactions while...”
A tiny dark shape slams into Zaviah to the Erumenta’s audible protest as Magrica starts gushing about how cute it is for the little girl to finally have some grit in her gut and how she’s going to braid her hair and take her monster hunting and get her a battleaxe to go with that attitude...
Emmanuel turns to the politely puzzled Wu and shrugs.
“Motherhood does amazing things to some women. Magrica was much more openly fierce before, but she decided that all my children, adopted and otherwise, were hers to teach and nurture into proper warriors.”
“And how did she take the fact that you are technically the step parent of a quarter of the world’s population if what you told me about Yserizan is correct?”
“She has an entire squadron of Nagasha she’s training to be monster hunters. It’s actually going pretty well. The Jungle Nagasha are really appreciating it more than the other types, but the few Cloud Nagasha they have as scouts and aerial reconnaissance are fully embracing the role.”
“And how are you taking to... godhood?” Observer Wu asks his eyes penetrating.
“It grows more comfortable unfortunately.”
“Unfortunately.” Wu repeats. Not questioning, but certainly prompting.
“I’ve had to put aside my own prejudices in the matter. Humans have a bad track record with self proclaimed gods and messiahs. Too many fakes and too many holy wars. To say nothing of the cults, witch-hunts and the like. And Urthani would follow any number of faiths, but the divine figure was either some kind of Divine Truth, a more abstract theology, gods that embody concepts or something animist for the most part.”
“Did you look to The Nagasha for a better example?”
“I did, and that’s what caused me to grow more comfortable with the title. Primal Nagasha aren’t worshipped in the way humans would a prohet or saint. Seeing them as nigh infallible. No, a Primal Nagasha is simply the very best that a Nagasha can be and it can neither be stopped nor denied. While most of them are indeed leaders to follow, authorities to obey or the sources of philosophy to accept, they are not regarded as unquestionable or infallible.”
“And that is what helped?”
“It is. I was terrified that someone would misinterpret me, either honestly or malevolently, and cause immense damage in my name. A crusade to cull any politician that isn’t in the military through fire and steel, or an Urthani Colony deciding that they deserve the entire world and since not only have the strength now, but a god of their own, that they are righteous in slaughter... I had several kinds of nightmare when I let my mind wander.”
“And?” Wu prompts.
“I had a conversation. An important one with an important person. She helped me put everything in perspective. But she’s not the type to appreciate too much attention. So she’s requested I keep things quiet. But, I can say that she is an authority on the subject. And she had a fair amount to say.”
“So you’ve spoken to other so called gods of the serpent people.”
“Primal Nagasha, and yes. One has arrived already, she lives her life as quietly as she can. Another is soon to arrive. The first wanted my measure, the second wants to ensure that as a more militaristic Primal that I’m up to standard as she calls it.”
“Oh?”
“I’m part of the smallest stable demographic in the galaxy. Primals. Apparently we’re a very self policing people.”
“So in other words, you’re more a celebrity in multiple fields than some object of worship?”
“Closer to actual worship than celebrity worship I’m afraid. Still, it’s not mindless, and those that are looking for an excuse... well they’ll find another one if it’s not me. At least if someone’s trying to use my name to do something horrible it means I have all moral authority to let them know how stupid such a thing is.”
“I suppose that is an upside to an insane cult deciding that it wants to go on a rampage in your name.”
“But that’s just the thing I really had to internalize, if they’re going to do that, then they’re going to do it and I’m just their excuse. They’ll find another if I’m not available. I’m responsible for the example I set, the actions I do and the things I say. I am not responsible for how they are interpreted.”
“Interesting. Still, is there a reason you’re sharing this in particular?”
“I figured the most distressing thing that Earth would consider about my situation was my rise into divine stature. A powerful soldier can be understood, a powerful politician or businessman can also be understood, but someone being regarded as a god can not be understood within a positive context thanks to the rather terrible history of such on Earth.” Emmanuel says.
“That... is an interesting concern. However, you do not think your conquering an entire world to be a bad thing?”
“Considering that it was basically in unending war, competition and self sabotage? Yes. You see, this world was suffering over an unending brain drain due to the fact that all male colonists were lost in the initial crash of the colony ship. There were surviving males, but they were in stasis and could not be retrieved. The method that was used to ensure there would be a future population was flawed, intended as an emergency stopgap. But they didn’t have the means to move past it. So it was used over and over again. This world was nearing the breaking point.”
“And that justifies conquering it?”
“When the nation states are tearing themselves apart through mindless pride? Scheming for the sake of scheming? Or are outright predating the other states? Yes, yes it does. To not intervene would have killed, far, far more people.”
“So you justify things by saying that thye will thank you some day?’
“They thank me now.”
“And it’s sincere?”
“Yes, considering that I’ve had a woman weep with relief at getting something as simple as a pair of glasses, or another outright beg for her child and herself to be healed of the degeneration they’ve suffered. How can I consider it anything but sincere?” Emmanuel asks.
“Oh? Who are you speaking with?” A new voice asks before a massive serpent woman slithers into Wu’s field of view. Her hood is fully flared out to reveal her as Lady Yserizan as she regards things. “A human friend?”
“An Observer from earth, they’re struggling to believe all the things they’ve been told.”
“Considering some mornings I wake up scarcely believing how my life has changed for the better I don’t blame them.” Yserizan notes happily. “Still, is there anything this... Observer wants to know in particular?”
“In particular I want to know many things. I’m just saying my first hello and listening to whatever anyone wants to say to me. I’ll be visiting that world before I return to Earth so make of that what you will.” Observer Wu says.
“Of course, it might be interesting to show you the temple my daughters made for me.”
“I will admit, receiving a tour of a living god’s temple from the god themselves will be a new experience for me.” Observer Wu admits.

2024.05.16 22:34 throwRA24952 My (24F) boyfriend (27M) broke up with me out of the blue because of PTSD, do I fly to see him?

Matt and I have been together for around 3 years. We broke up in September 2023, because long distance was too difficult but a few weeks later I was assaulted. I called him and told him what happened and we started seeing each other again shortly after because I’m moving to the UK in September for uni.
We’re long distance but he flew over when he heard what happened to me. This is relevant because I’m considering the same now.
We’ve been back together since around that time. He’s been going through a lot. In the time we were apart, a friend of his killed himself.
He has history with death - his ex girlfriend attempted to end her life and he had to perform CPR to save her life (and she did survive). This was obviously really traumatic for him and after the recent death of his friend he’s been having flashbacks.
I urged him to go to therapy, but in his words he “went to Thailand instead”.
He was there for 11 days, and on the last day a girl who had been in the group at his hostel ended up passed out on the street. He got a message from some random guy because he was the last contact in her phone. He went down to make sure she was ok and they took her to the police station thinking she was just drunk.
She stopped breathing at the station, and he performed CPR. Apparently the police were just standing around not doing anything.
They took her to a hospital, and he left her a note explaining what had happened. The next day she contacted him and said she’d been spiked. She’d been overdosing when he performed CPR and he saved her life.
He called me really upset the night this happened. Obviously it bought a lot back and I think he has PTSD.
He told me a few nights ago he’s started having panic attacks.
Today he phoned me out of the blue crying and he said he couldn’t do this anymore, he needed to be alone, he had to process this on his own.
We were on the phone for about 20 minutes. I told him I love him in sickness and in health, and that if he needed to be alone to get better I supported him.
We both cried and said we loved each other.
I phoned him back a few hours later just to check in. He said he still felt the same.
3 nights ago I was booking flights to see him and we were excited about seeing each other.
I’m beyond shocked. I saw myself marrying this man. Having children with him.
We’re both going through incredibly difficult times right now (I’m currently in the middle of the court process re the assault).
I offered last week to fly over earlier when he mentioned the panic attacks but he said no.
I feel like I should just go, and be with him and support him. I also feel like I should give him the space I asked for.
What do I do? I’m so worried about him, I just want to do the right thing.

2024.05.16 22:00 Swissdanielle Airport, international flight… forgot passport

Well. It happened. It was bound to happen at least once in my life. It happened today.
I showed up to the airport for an international flight. I made it to my gate. Then I realised I did not have my passport. (I’m in a Schengen country so you can walk into the gate area just with an Id, that’s why I didn’t clue in).
Because I’m always running late I always make sure to go to the airport at least three hours before boarding. I know, sounds like too much. But not today! I wasn’t even sure on where my passport was to be honest, so I went to the police office in the airport and after some explaining and ass kissing they issued one emergency passport for me (apparently they didn’t have to issue one so I’m happy it worked out in the end).
So I made my flight thanks to the good people at the office and my 3 hour buffer.

Many of the older Star Wars games have been rereleased on newer PlayStation hardware, either as standalone purchases on the PlayStation Store or as part of the PlayStation Plus subscription service.
One Star Wars game that hasn’t yet been re-released on newer systems is Star Wars: The Clone Wars, a 2002 shooter that came out shortly after Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. Not to be confused with the hit animated series of the same name, Star Wars: The Clone Wars takes place during the titular conflict, with the first of its 16 levels recreating the Battle of Geonosis. From there, players could pilot classic Star Wars vehicles and control legendary Jedi Knights as they fight to stop the Separatist army from unleashing an ancient Sith weapon on the Republic.
As reported by Gematsu, a PlayStation Store price tracking website named PS Deals recently uncovered a since-deleted listing for Star Wars: The Clone Wars on PS4 and PS5. This will mark the first time that a re-released PlayStation 2 Star Wars game will have a designated PS5 version alongside the PS4 one, and it will come with new features like up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters.

The leaked PlayStation Store listing says that Star Wars: The Clone Wars will launch on PS4 and PS5 on June 11, causing many to suspect that it will be included in the PlayStation Plus Classics Catalogue line-up for that month. May’s assortment of older PlayStation games set to be added to PS Plus on May 21 include the retro snowboarding title 2Xtreme, 1997’s futuristic flight simulator G-Police, and the quirky 1998 title Worms Pinball.
While nothing official has been announced as of this writing, it looks like a classic Star Wars game could be joining these older PlayStation games on modern consoles, nearly 22 years after it first launched on the PS2 during the era of Attack of the Clones. Star Wars: The Clone Wars offers plenty of variety in its levels and vehicle types, and nostalgic fans might be interested in revisiting this often-forgotten part of the Star Wars gaming universe. Should the rumors prove true, then players might be able to dive back into the battlefields of Star Wars: The Clone Wars on June 11.

Hi! Please a local/austrian help me with my situation because im really lost and upset but i dont know what to do since i dont really know the austrian authorities…..
For last saturday i booked an apartment in Vienna through the booking.com just for only one night, because the next day morning i had a flight to Rome. (Check in at 15:00 - check out at 11:00) After i arrived around 15:30 to the apartment i went to take a shower, after i was dressed when somebody just opened the door and wanted to come inside…. I was traveling alone, im a 28y old woman and to be honest it was upsetting me a lot…. I wrote the owner about what happened and i asked them to please noone come in my rented apartment until im checked out…. (There is no key, the door opens with a code + you cant close it from inside…) But then next morning i was out from the apartment, but when i come back just to pick up my stuff what i left in the apartment there was two stranger women! One of them hands in my backpack… they said they booked this apartment too, but after this situation i just called the police, they became very aggressive about this, but i told them if thats right what they say then there is nothing to worry about…. The police came and the two women started to attacking me to the officers and yelling at me, lying, curse me and what not…. At the end the officers sent me away (…??) saying my flights goes anyway so just go…. Unfortunately at this time it was too late to go, my phone was also dead, and to be honest i was so so upset about the whole situation, i felt so scared and upset that i had a very bad panic attack and i couldnt go anywhere, i had to sit down and calm down because i couldnt breath normally…..
I missed my flight, and i lost a lot of money since everything was already booked and everything is nonrefundable….
The owner didnt pick up the phone, so i wrote them. They said „there is nothing what i can do“…..
I wrote also the booking.com atleast for time now since sunday, i got this automatic message: „Booking Assistant I just sent that to Customer Service, someone there will get back to you within 24 hours. I'll let you know as soon as they do, just make sure you have notifications switched on“ its been more than 4 days now but zero respond…..
Maybe im not right but i think its absolutely unacceptable and i would be happy for a compensation…. Im working hard nonstoply, i just wanted a few days vacation what didnt happen at the end, they cant compensate this but i lost because of this a lot of money too… (cca 400€, i know its maybe not much to others but for me its really a lot….)
Very please someone help me with this because im really lost and helpless at this point…. I could use even just some ideas too… (what kind of authorities i can reach about this?, where can maybe i find help?, etc….)
Also for your own sake never book an apartment in the ‚Modern City Apartment‘!!

2024.05.16 17:53 ikerus0 I’m firing my time travel, travel agent

Desperately needed a vacation and thought I’d check out a random time and place in the universe.
First, my time travel, travel agent (Todd z121) sets me up in a time traveling DeLorean. It’s a two seater and one of the seats is for the pilot! Granted the pilot, though eccentric, was very nice and told me sometimes his dog drives the craft.
Second, Todd z121 apparently thought I’d really enjoy a place called Normandy on a planet called earth in the human year of 1944… it was not great.
Finally I was set up to head back home in a blue police box (luckily it was much roomier on the inside than it looked). Unfortunately I ended up having to go on multiple adventures with the pilot and making a connected flight with two Wild Stallions in a phone booth before getting back home.
Never using Todd z121 again. 1 star on Nebula Review and Yelp.

Hello, I posted something here asking what to do because someone was threatening to post my friend's nude pics. I deleted the post because maraming nag memessage na hindi daw totoo yung sinasabi ko na hindi kasalanan ng friend ko na nagkaroon siya ng nude pics dahil imposible daw na may kumalat kung wala siyang sinend. So here's what happened
January, may nag chat sa friend ko asking for a help sa research survey nila. Turns out that the person who message her was a hacker and may masama pong plano. He hacked an account and used it to message my friend. Since my friend was really helpful, specially when it comes to acads, nag reply siya sa message and she just answered the questions. At first, tungkol lang po sa phone yung questions like "how long are u using your phone?" "What apps do u frequently use?"
The culprit then asked my friend to download their app because apparently, they are working on the app called "phone doctor". He sent a link and asked my friend to download it. He told my friend that she should allow the app's access to the camera, storage, contacts, etc... or else the app won't work properly. My friend obliged because she thought that it's really for their research project and she wanted to help that person sa survey nila. She was told that the app was only a hardware scanner, it will scan for errors or old version of phones and it will provide a solution on how to fix that error. The hacker told her that the app can't access the software. It can access the camera, audio, processors but it can't access daw the files and notes.
So the app was already downloaded, the culprit had an access on her camera. Binabantayan niya yung actions ng friend ko through the camera. Dinadala ng friend ko yung phone sa cr for music, the culprit got the chance to take a naked photo of her without my friend knowing.
This month of May, a dummy account messaged my friend. He sent the nude pictures and threatened her to send more naked pics with 6 MONTHS or else he will leak those photos.
Magaling po yung hacker kaya naghihirapan kami sa paggawa ng aksyon. We went to the police and ang sinabi lang po ay hihintayin daw na magpakita yung suspect (entrapment). My friend didn't send nude pics, sinabayan at kina kausap niya lang yung suspect para hindi siya magduda.
The suspect was really crazy since he told my friend na marami na daw siyang na biktima sa IG, FB, etc.. pag nabiktima daw niya ay binibigyan niya ng 1 year or 6 months para makapag send ng nude pics for his own pleasure.
Nahihirapan po kami na ma locate siya dahil hindi kami makapag post for awareness lalo na't magaling sa technology yung suspect at mahuli kami, baka mas malala pa yung gawin. He said that it's for his own pleasure but we're not sure, maybe pine perahan niya yung pics na nakukuha niya sa iba't ibang babae.
Mas mapapadali siguro if alam namin kung sino pa ang mga na biktima ng taong to para maraming magtulungan to imprison him. But we can't ask for help through social media or anything dahil nakabantay po yung hacker.
I'm also worried for my friend because hindi siya safe sa surroundings niya. She has a class sched that ends at night so delikado everytime umuuwi siya.
