2024.05.29 02:55 Raaniz_Kaan Today is my 25th birthday and my 1st since I started HRT

I decided to take a weeklong trip to Houston, Galveston, and Enchanted Rock (has 1 bil. yr old rock). Tofay I drove about 4 and a half hrs in a monstrous storm and deluge and went to the downtown aquarium (exhibits were nice but overall Seaworld in Graoevine is better). I also went to the public lubrary to print out some things for my vamping trip later in the year, and I'll end the day off with a dinner at Olive Garden. It's nice doing something different like visiting someplace new.
I was nearly tempted to go to a lesbian bar, but I'm not really a bar person and neither do I yet feel comfortable femme-moding yet in such a place (I still hate how I look). I might change my mind for tomorrow evening.
To note, I'm completely alone on this trip

2024.05.29 02:53 skittlez_lmao How can I begin to get over this feeling?

I plan each meal I eat, and try to eat a good amount of protein, fruits, vegetables, and carbs a day. I do this everyday, and have been for years now, but recently I’ve been thinking about apple pie. Not a whole one, just a nice slice with some vanilla ice cream (and maybe some nuts???)…and I feel so depressed. I know I’ll enjoy every bite, but when I’m done, this overwhelming sense of guilt will tear me apart.
Tomorrow, I’m expected to go to Olive Garden for a dinner with family, and all I can think about is how that will destroy my planned meal (and accurate nutrition calculations). Then, after I eat, the freaking guilt attacks me and I feel like such a mess. I want to eat the pie, the ice cream, the freaking gnocchi…but I can’t let myself go. I’ve worked so hard to be considered “a healthy weight” and I’m scared of losing myself in the food.
How can I shake this??

2024.05.29 02:26 Cheemingwan1234 Moral Kombat 1: Cure Friendy (Mortal Kombat 1 x PreCure)

Moral Kombat 1: Cure Friendy (Mortal Kombat 1 x PreCure)
Mortal Kombat 1 Kombatant Profile: Iroha Inuka/Cure Friendy
(Hey, Mortal Kombat 1 and Wonderful PreCure could collaborate since well, one and 'wan' which is Japanese for a dog barking sound phonetically similar. Wonderful PreCure uses a similar pun for it's title)
(Well, Komugi and Iroha can tell the difference between a Garugaru and someone like Shang Tsung. You don't use hugs for the later, you kill him or her.)
Note: Her face model is based on her Japanese voice actress (Atsumi Tanezaki) with Mallorie Rodak (Frieren’s English VA) voicing her English voice lines. Her default costume is her costume as Cure Friendy from Wonderful Pretty Cure. She also has her Friendly Tact on the right side of her hip.
Bio:
The only daughter of the Inukai family, Iroha Inukai grew up in an environment where she learnt about how to care for animals as her parents ran an animal care facility and pet saloon and adopted a stray dog; Komugi as her own pet and companion. Long ago, Iroha’s great-grandfather was a member of Unit 731 during World War II who experimented on animals as part of Unit 731’s research into bioweapons. Iroha’s great-grandfather did the experiments for the perceived glory of Japan, only to be terrified that they were used as jumping off points for bioweapons to be developed against Japan’s enemies. Though given immunity after the war with the rest of Unit 731, her great-grandfather was traumatized and resolved to make amends by opening up an animal care clinic that his descendants would inherit and taught his children and grandchildren that all life is worth protecting that would carry on into Iroha and her love for animals.
When Iroha encountered a monster that would later be known as a Garugaru about to kill her classmate; Satoru ,Iroha and Komugi stepped in. It was her and Komugi’s passionate feelings to protect Satoru that led to Komugi and Iroha gaining their Wonderful Pacts, becoming the PreCures known as Cure Friendy and Cure Wonderful with Komugi gaining the ability to assume a human form in the process. Defeating and purifying the Garugaru who turned out to be the Niko Animal known as Mey Mey, they became the Wonderful PreCures, chasing after the Garugaru to purify them.
With the Inukai family invited by Sindel to help check on the animals in the Outworld royal zoo, Iroha and Komugi went to Outworld coincidentally with the Mortal Kombat delegates. However, Iroha would be drawn into a conspiracy by Titan Shang Tsung to destroy the New Era.
Walk Out Animation:
Cure Friendy pulls out her Wonderful Pact and uses it to create a energy ribbon that she holds in the other hand.
Select Animation:
Cure Friendy puts away her Wonderful Pact and her energy ribbon.
Gear: Deerstalker (her deerstalker hat, which would also change out her hairstyle)
Skins: Default (her default skin), Civilian (her civilian costume), Chocolat (a costume based on Cure Chocolat), Puca (a skin based on Cure Puca) and Nightwolf ( a skin based on Nightwolf)
Johnny Cage announcer nicknames: “Iroha”, “Friendy”, “Cure Friendly” and “Let’s be friends!”
Intros:
1: Cure Friendy pulls out her Wonderful Pact and inspects it.
2: Cure Friendy adjusts her deerstalker hat.
Outro:
Cure Friendy calls Komugi in dog form to her arms and cuddles Komugi.
Throw: Wonderful Injury:
Cure Friendy summons a large energy ribbon, smashes the opponent with it, gets behind the opponent and smashes the opponent with another energy ribbon to knock her opponent to the ground.
Special Moves:
Friendy Charge: Cure Friendy shoulder charges into her opponent.
  • Unfriendly Beatdown: Cure Friendy tackles her opponent to the ground, grabs the opponent by the neck and proceeds to repeatedly smash in her opponent’s head against the ground.
Friendy Bow: Cure Friendy throws a energy ribbon at her opponent.
Ribbon Lash: Cure Friendy lashes out with her ribbons from her arms, causing her opponent to stagger back. Enhancing it allows her to launch her opponent to the air to sent up aerial combos.
Friendy Blast: Cure Friendy fires off a energy blast with her Friendly Tact.
  • Up Friendy Blast: Cure Friendy fires off a energy blast using her Friendly Tact upwards.
Friendy Barrier: Cure Friendy creates a waist high ribbon barrier that reflects non-high projectiles in front of her opponent. This barrier also prevents the opponent from walking forwards. The opponent can jump over or break it with a melee attack though.
  • Barrier Switch: Cure Friendy grabs her opponent over the barrier and tosses her opponent to the other side. Enhancing it has Cure Friendy smash her opponent’s head against her barrier after grabbing her opponent before tossing her opponent over.
Fatal Blow: Let’s Get Hurt!
Cure Friendy starts her Fatal Blow by pulling out her Friendy Tact and using it to strike her opponent, staggering her opponent and allowing her Kameo time to execute their Fatal Blow. Once her Kameo is done, Cure Friendy smashes her opponent into the air with her Friendly Tact, then creates energy ribbons from her hands that pierce the opponent’s skull before Cure Friendy then uses her ribbons to smash the opponent back to the ground.
Fatalities:
Fatality 1: Skull Wonderful.
Cure Friendy pulls out her ribbons from her cuffs, then uses them to warp around her opponent’s head, flaying the skin off her opponent’s head. As the opponent screams in pain, Cure Friendy rips off the opponent’s head and spine and then whacks the opponent’s body with their head, splattering her opponent's upper torso in the process. She then displays the opponent’s flayed head to the camera like a trophy as she poses.
Fatality 2: Pull Off!
Cure Friendy kicks her opponent to the air, then extends out her ribbons from her cuffs that impale the opponent in the limbs. She then pulls at the ribbons, ripping out her opponent’s limbs and causing the now limbless opponent to fall down face up. Cure Friendy then places one foot at the opponent’s torso as she poses while the opponent goes limp and bleeds out.
Kameo Fatality Pose:
Cure Friendy displays her Wonderful Pact in her hands.
Brutalities:
  1. The Klassic: Cure Friendy punches off her opponent’s head with an uppercut.
  2. Back Throw: Cure Friendy throws her opponent into the camera, splattering her opponent.
  3. Slice Through: Cure Friendy executes her throw only to slice the opponent in half at the waist with the energy ribbon.
  4. Brained: Cure Friendy jumps on her opponent and proceeds to smash in her opponent’s head to the ground before slamming her opponent’s head, splattering it.
  5. Pac-Man: Cure Friendy executes her Barrier Switch move, only to slice off the upper half of the opponent’s head in the process by slamming her opponent’s head against her ribbon barrier.
  6. Wonderful Paste: Cure Friendy charges into her opponent, splattering her opponent into paste.
  7. Ribbon Slice: Cure Friendy slices the opponent in half with her energy ribbons.
Brutality Win Pose:
Cure Friendy summons Komugi to her side who then nuzzles at her legs.
Brutality/Round Win Lines:
“Wonderful, is’nt it?”
“For the Niko Garden!”
"Talk about Kombatant cruelty!"
“Well, you’re expecting a hug?”
“Don’t judge me by my name.”
“Everyone’s smiles light up with your death!”
“For Komugi and Earthrealm!”
“Your blood drinking habits have reduced you to less than animals!” (Against Nitara)
“Don’t think that my gentle nature makes me a pushover, Reiko!” (Against Reiko)
Sample Interaction Dialogue (with herself in a mirror match, Homelander, Peacemaker, Ermac, Omni-Man, Sub-Zero, Shang Tsung, Reiko, General Shao, Reptile, Li Mei, Havik, Scorpion, Nitara, Ashrah, Quan Chi, Mileena, Kenshi and Johnny Cage)
“This must be Cure Supreme’s doing!”
“You’re funny, Cure Friendy.”

"Your dog would make for a good target, Iroha."
"I'm going to tear you from the inside out, ass-end first, Supe."

“Cure Friendy? So you two give hugs to your enemies?”
“I told you, we do kill our enemies when the situation calls for it.”

"Have you tried to get someone to befriend your souls individually?"
"If it was that easy, we would have done it way earlier!"

“To kill, one must be cold-blooded, Cure Friendy.”
“It must be balanced with compassion, Bi-Han.”

“How is it that you view your entire family as pets!?”
“Viltrumites are much more superior compared to humans, PreCure!”

“Komugi is such a cute little lapdog….”
“You dare threaten her, Shang Tsung!?”

“The Niko Garden sends out a whelp to fight me?”
“Whelp? See how well I fight, Reiko!”

“You brought Garugarus from their creator!?”
“Well, what better use for them as shock troops!?”

“Syzoth, tell Kung Lao that no, I won’t allow Komugi to be used for his prank.”
“He tried to use my shapeshifting to prank Raiden’s sister.”

“The Garugarus are wreaking havoc in Sun Do!”
“Tell your constables to let me and Komugi handle it!”

“If I hear one more rant about how I ‘oppress’ Komugi….”
“…You’ll never silence me, PreCure!”

“If I see Komugi’s previous owner..I’ll flay that motherfucker alive !”
“That’s not the way to deal with her previous owner, Cure Friendy.”

“Cure Friendy, just listen to us.”
“More fucking excuses to why you prey on all in the Realms?”

“Your great grandfather had a spotty past.”
“He used to experiment on animals.”

“I’m not one for dishing out slow deaths, but you…”
“….I’ve made an impression on you, Cure Friendy.”

“I’m quite gentle by nature, but I can be ruthless.”
“That’s impressive, coming from someone who is quite docile.”

“Do you do hugs all the time in combat?”
“Well, ask those Lin Kuei warriors if I gave them a hug. Oh wait, they’re six feet under.”

“Komugi herself is adorable…”
“You want to cast her in your latest film?”
Tower Ending
(Shot of Cure Friendy fighting a Garugaru being used by the Black Dragon syndicate that fades to Cure Friendy and Cure Wonderful interogating a badly battered thug of the Black Dragon, with Cure Friendy about to loose her temper while lifting said Black Dragon thug by the neck with one hand)
“Once Armageddon was finished, I’ve returned back to Earthrealm. There, I’ve resumed my duties as a PreCure. However, the Garugarus soon changed. Instead of just rampaging as beasts driven amok, they started to appear as part of various less than noble groups such as the Black Dragon.”
(Shot of Cure Friendy gathering various newspaper clippings regarding the Garugarus and their appearance in various criminal groups that fades to them meeting Kenshi and Scorpion.)
“Whoever is behind them has changed tactics, selling the Garugarus as weapons and this change does not bode well for the Niko Garden. Komugi and I realised that we need to change tactics and get allies to help out.”
(Shot of Cure Friendy and Cure Wonderful fighting alongside Scorpion, Kung Lao and Kenshi against some Lin Kuei grunts who are assisted by a Garugaru on their side)
“Together, we’ll be able to get to the bottom of who’s creating the Garugarus and stop them before they can do more harm to the Niko Garden.”

A typo in The Tommyknockers??
Everywhere in the book thus far her name has been spelled Bobbi. Maybe The Tommyknockers prefer it with a Y.

2024.05.29 00:25 tczecher Is it normal for bussers to receive below minimum wage?

Hey yall, I have a question. I was offered a job as a busser today at Olive Garden. During the interview, I was told that I would be making around $8 per hour, with the addition of tips. This confused me a little bit, because Illinois minimum wage is $14 per hour. Is it normal for bussers to make this little hourly? If it is, how much additional money could I expect to earn from tips? Thank you in advance!

2024.05.29 00:23 Colonel_Sugar_Bandit Why Aren't Restaurants Training Staff?

(1) So we went to celebrate Easter Dinner with my son and his wife's family at a brunch put on by a local restaurant with a great reputation. I don't know if they just can't get enough help or what but it took forever to get service. We had to chase down a server to get drinks, even water's. Finally went to the buffet table, where what was there was okay, but several pans were empty. They were supposed to have roast beef and roast turkey, but they ran out of turkey early. ( They presold tickets/reservations so they knew how many people would be coming. ). Servers kept going by but never asked for more drinks and never picked up dirty dishes. We ended up piling the dishes and giving them to the server. Don't these restaurants train their staff? Or are we captive patrons and they don't care?
(2). Same group went to another place for Mother's Day. This was a large venue and they had a couple of buffet lines. Fine. They were keeping the food well stocked. Great. They had roast beef and roast turkey. Again, this place ran out of turkey and weren't going to replace it. Also we had to track down waitstaff to order drinks. These came 35 minutes later. There was a pancake/waffle station at another buffet line but we had no server to let us know that. There was also a coffee/tea/beverage station elsewhere, that we noticed on our way out. Here again, plates just piled up until I put them on another table that had left.
(3). Went to a brew pub for an event. The place was mobbed, inside and out. After enjoying a brew, we put our name on a list for an outside table. They said they'd text me when ready. They did, about 30 minutes later which was the quoted time. Our server stopped by an acknowledged us, then came for our order. We could tell the kitchen was super busy, so weren't surprised at a 20 min wait for food ( that's not bad actually!). This place had trained their staff, and all went well. Kudos to them!
(4). This was a chain Italian restaurant, no, not the Garden. This was a Saturday night, we went without reservations so we weren't surprised when we were told an hour wait. So we put our name in and left a phone# to text us and did some shopping. We came back early so went to the SRO bar and got a couple of glasses of wines. Then our table was ready,. As we walked to the table we noticed a lot of empty tables. When our server came over she explained that they were short staffed, so they weren't seating all the tables. SMART! Our meals came out in a good time, everything went well, and our server seemed efficient but not rushed. I think this is smart business sense. The last 2 restaurants worked to train their wait staff and kitchen to ensure the customer was happy and the staff could handle their work load.
The first 2 restaurants seemed to take it for granted that patrons would just accept low quality service and food. What really bugs me is that we're supposed to pay a gratuity of 15% to 20% on this. I'm sorry, but as a person who worked in food service for many years, this is unacceptable. The staff at the first 2 restaurants did not earn their tips those days.
It's the restaurants fault, for not training well, but is the guest supposed to just accept poor service and pay a large gratuity? I don't think so.

2024.05.29 00:16 xanax05mg I just wanted to say thank you for everything.

Dear Small Bird,
Before I met you, the weight of life was like a backpack full of bricks, dragging me down to the ground. After meeting you, regardless what the day brought, everytime I was with you made that backpack felt like it weighed nothing at all.
I know we agreed to part ways but things ended so quickly that there was so much that I never got to say to you. You were out the door before I even truly realized what had happend.
I wanted to say thank you. For everything. For your time, your effort, your paitience and for being my best friend. Thank you putting up with my sense of humor and laughing at my jokes. Thank you for letting me love you my way with all of my love languages, thank you for the home we built together, for all the adventures we had, the movies we watched, the video games we played, the lazy weekends in bed and even the all the time we simply spent together just hanging out, even some thanks for all those times we ended up eating at Olive Garden because we couldnt find anywhere else to eat.
Thank you for all the laughs, inside jokes, our made up launguage and so many truly one of a kind memories. Thank you for showing me respect, care and kindess. Thank you for taking care of me when I was sick, thank you for all the amazing home cooked meals, thank you for all the long hugs and the late night snugs. Thank you for introducing me to your family, thank you for bringing me into your world and introducing me to all your great friends. Thank you for letting me be apart of your dogs life. I will miss him very much. Thank you for your guidance and support, thank you for challenging me, pushing me to succeed and contributing to me growing as a person.
The last four years have been a dream come true and with all my heart and soul, I wish we could have had another fifty years more but in the end we were just not compatible and I understand that, although part of me still believes we could have succeeded but that doesnt matter now. It all makes sense in my logical brain but my heart still hurts. It mourns the end of us and loss of the future we could have had, you know me though, regardless what life throws at me I will always keep going.
I will miss us, very much. You were an amazing partner and we were an amazing couple and now it is time for us to go forward and be amazing on our own, as individuals.
Thank you for being apart of my life and letting me be apart of yours.
I wish you all the best.

Garden Graze plant-based passport
Crossing my fingers that EPCOT keeps encouraging people to try plant-based options at the Flower & Garden festival each year.
We were so impressed by the quality and price of the dishes, and loved filling in the passport. The festival treat was delicious, and the seeds and cup were an awesome bonus.
Any other proud Garden Graze completers?

2024.05.28 21:58 Efficient_Vast_891 What if your garden was worth something?

Hi There, I'm Nicolas, I'm french and I arrived in the Uk over 5 years ago.
I grew up in a farmers family, where all your dish are from the garden or the farms arounds. From chicken, cows, vegetables to fruits.
After living in the Uk, I'm actually missing as simple as a tasty vegetable in my plate. Or to find this I need to shop to M&S, waitrose or local organic shop, either way it's over price. Good and tasty food shouldn't be a luxury but the base of our alimentation.
This is why, I decided to create www.sproutconnections.com
An app where gardeners like us can sell affordable, local food to our neighbourhood.
Maybe you garden is too big for you own consumption, or you want an extra income, why not using your passion and you garden to bring products of quality on the plate of your neighbours.
This is not a promotion, as the website is still on development. Instead I've created the waiting list where I share the news about the project. What's new, what's coming up, ...
And I use your feedback to develop to website as I want to help ourselves first, us gardeners.
Thank you every one for taking the time of reading me.
Nicolas

2024.05.28 21:40 Charming_Row_2661 My Thrillophilia Review for a Dream Trip to Kashmir

My Thrillophilia Review for a Dream Trip to Kashmir
It has always been my dream to visit the ‘Heaven on Earth’. Kashmir is truly a wonderful destination which will make you forget about all your worries. I have been a frequent traveller before I got my leg and back injured on my last trip which was about two years ago. Now that I was finally ready to travel the world again, I thought this is the perfect time to plan a trip to my dream destination, Kashmir.
https://preview.redd.it/ku55jtz5083d1.jpg?width=4200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0ab3b8efd210e3a9b6a6393a99ecfe979d392697
Thrillophilia has been a constant travel companion in all my trips. I love how they take care of everything for you and all you have to do is pack your bags and reach your travel destination. So I already knew where to look for budget friendly and customizable Kashmir tour packages. There were several well-curated tour packages on the site which also had impressive ratings and Thrillophilia reviews. After some search on Thrillophilia’s site, I came across the perfect 6 days and 5 nights Kashmir package. It had everything I was looking for, from cosy accommodation to local transfers, covering major attractions and even some exciting activities.
After discussing the package with my friends, I booked the ‘Highlights of Kashmir’ package for a group of 6 people.
You Know What the Best Part Was?
Who knew that you could reach ‘Heaven’ with just a 3 hour flight from Mumbai? We had finally arrived at Srinagar airport from where our driver picked us up. On our way to our pre-booked hotel, I kept thinking that I finally made it to Kashmir. Words felt too less and my emotions were too overwhelming at that moment so I simply stuck my head out the car window to breathe in the fresh mountain air.
Soon our driver dropped us in front of our pre-booked hotel which was even more beautiful than the pictures. We completed the check-in formalities and decided to rest for a bit in our rooms. Later, we headed out to explore some attractions on our own as it was our leisure day. We visited Chashme Shahi Bagh, Botanical Garden and the Tulip Garden. At night, we visited the local market to purchase some souvenirs and try out some local dishes like kebabs and Kashmiri Pulao.
The next morning, our driver picked us up from our hotel and drove us to our next destination, Gulmarg. We started the day by visiting some of the most picturesque locations like Strawberry Valley, Drung Waterfall, Buta Pathri and Khilanmarg. It was on my bucket list to try out the popular Gulmarg gondola ride which is the longest in Asia and the second longest in the world. After an eventful day, we headed back to our hotel and made sure to get enough sleep for our next day.
Our third day of the itinerary included a visit to Sonmarg which is known for its breathtaking natural views and lush green meadows. Here, we enjoyed a fun horse ride to the Thajiwas Glacier and even visited other stunning attractions such as Baltal Valley and Krishansar Lake. One of the most thrilling activities that we did on our trip was the white water river rafting on the pristine Sindh River.
On our fourth day, we checked-out from our hotel and then proceeded towards Pahalgam. Before reaching our destination, we could not resist and asked the driver to make several stops. There were too many beautiful spots in between where we had to stop to take pictures. Finally, we arrived at our second hotel in Pahalgam. It was more of a guesthouse which was taken care of by an elderly couple. The rooms were extremely cosy, warm and offered mesmerising views from the windows. Without wasting any extra minute, we quickly freshened up and left our hotel to explore the beauty of Pahalgam.

We explored a few stunning valleys such as Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari Valley. I can still picture the beautiful landscapes in my mind while writing about it.
The views from these valleys were to die for and I wish I could have stayed there longer. After the sightseeing, four of us decided to once again go for river rafting on the Lidder River while the other two decided to peacefully sit near the river. At night, we went to a small restaurant to savour the local taste of Kashmir and tried dishes like biryani, rogan josh and dum aloo.
On our fifth day, we checked-out from our hotel in Pahalgam and again headed towards Srinagar. Since it was our last day of the trip, we decided to make the most out of it. We covered all the remaining attractions of Srinagar such as Mughal Gardens, Pari Mahal, Badamwari Garden, Nigeen Lake, Doodhpathri and Zero Bridge. To give our trip the perfect ending, we headed towards the beautiful Dal Lake to enjoy a shikara ride. After the soothing ride, we stayed the night in a houseboat
The next morning, with a heavy heart, we packed our bags and completed all the checkout formalities. Our driver picked us up from our hotel and then dropped us off at the airport from where we all boarded our flights back home.
A huge thanks to Thrillophilia !
None of this would have been possible without Thrillophilia’s help. I love the fact that they stay connected with you throughout your trip to ensure that everything is going smoothly. I can be completely unbothered, leave everything up to their team and still be sure that I will have the best trip of my life. Once again, I thank Thrillophilia for organising a hassle free and memorable trip for me and my friends. I am looking forward to planning my next trip with them very soon.

2024.05.28 21:35 NerdyArchimedes Compilation of Mahiru/Kano stuff from the Voice Dramas and X (through Ep 8)

There is quite a bit of untranslated material for this series getting released alongside the anime. Since I'm just a bit obsessed with the MahiKano pair I went digging around in it to see if there was anything that could shed some light on their delightfully (and frustratingly) ambiguous relationship. There is actually lots of interesting stuff so I thought I'd share what I've found as we approach the last four episodes. I think my translations are pretty decent but be aware I'm by no means fluent. Google-sensei assisted.
Unfortunately, none of it is "proof" of any romantic feelings between the two and some of it makes things even more puzzling, but it is yet more to add to what we already have.

Voice Drama

Every week there is a short voice drama that gives an extra scene taking place around the time of the most recent episode. Some of them have a bit of MahiKano, and a couple of them have a lot. It is recommended to read along with the video.
Ep 3: (Basically) Mahiru asks Kiui to explain a meme she heard classmates using that she had pretended to understand, and it had been bugging her. After some prodding Kiui fully explains it for her. [3:47] Kiui: "So, do you feel refreshed?" Mahiru: "Refreshed! I am super refreshed!... Ah, didn't I sound a bit like Kano-chan just now?" Kiui: "Like I'd know! I'm not that close to her." Mahiru: "Oh that's right huh." Mahiru: "Your training is insufficient." Kiui: "Hey now, that is on the same level as the comments I get even if it is a better quality one."
Ep 5: Before they go do their first shrine visit, the four of them talk about JELEE's growth. [0:36] Yoru: "It doesn't really feel like it but it has been some time already. From Halloween it's been...about two months?" Kano [dramatically]: "Yup. On that day, Yoru and I had our fated meeting." Mei: "That makes me kind of jealous." Kiui: "No, it doesn't matter when you joined." Kano: "We're all precious JELEE teammates." Yoru: "Yup."
Ep 6: Mahiru and Kano go to the place Miiko works at to meet up with her for dinner after she finishes her shift. [0:37]
Kano: "Ooo, the yakitori looks delicious. It is wonderfully arranged isn't it, Yoru-sensei? Mahiru: "No, I just arranged it normally." Kano: "It must be your "sense" talking again." Mahiru: "Geez."
Due to Kiui and Mei already having not been able to come with and Miiko taking on an extra shift and needing to cancel, it ends up being just the two of them. The topic turns to school. [2:03]
Kano: "Ahhh.... oh yeah, winter break has ended for us, huh?" Mahiru: "Kano-chan, you forgot about school being a thing didn't you?" Kano: "Well, you see, it doesn't make a difference whether or not I go." Mahiru: "When the new term starts we're gonna be 3rd years you know? It is our last year being high school girls so we gotta FULLY enjoy it or wouldn't it be a big waste?" Kano: [playfully] "I dunno~. Yoru, you really are a bit calculating about that..." Mahiru: "...Eh?" Mahiru: "No, I was just thinking it really is better to have fun is all." Kano: "But rather than being at school, isn't it more fun doing stuff with everyone in JELEE?" Mahiru: "That may be true but I'd say it is better to have fun from both." Kano: [dramatically] "Hmmm... I shall take that under consideration." Mahiru: "But you know, going straight for the goal you currently have in front of you is a very Kano-chan thing to do." Kano: [giggle] "Like I thought Yoru really understands me!" Mahiru: "I wasn't praising you 'k?" Kano: [playfully] "Eeeh?" Mahiru: "Hey now, don't forget about the yakitori. Which one do you want to eat Kano-chan?" Kano: "Then, for starters I'll go with salted!" Mahiru: "That kinda sounds like something a connoisseur would say." Kano: "I ate a different kind last time so this time is salted!" Mahiru: "There really was a proper reason..." Kano: [munching] "... ... what is it?" Mahiru: [evasively] "Nope, nothing. I wonder what I should have."
Ep 7: Kano and Kiui chat while in the bath together. Before long, Kano shifts the conversation to Mahiru [0:50] Kano: "By the way Kiui, have you ever bathed with Yoru?" Kiui: "Yeah. 'Though in saying that, it was just back in elementary school. Like when she'd come over to my house we'd take a bath together." Kano: "Heeh. I do kinda have the image of childhood friends going on family trips together and stuff." Kiui: "Mahiru in the past would draw art wherever she went. Even when we were spending time together she'd still be drawing, We'd often get scolded for losing track of time while drawing." Kano: "I feel that side of Yoru hasn't changed. Especially recently!" Kiui: "That may be!" Kano: "But at the time you also drew with her right?" Kiui: "That was a while ago but yes. I do still draw stuff for use in my videos but back then Mahiru would come over to my place for us to do it." Kano: "Eh? You're talking about when she'd come over to play?" Kiui: "You haven't heard from Mahiru? My place is an art class." Kano: *gasp "First I've heard! I seeee, nooow I get it." Kiui: "What did you just understand?" Kano: "No, just a feeling." Kiui: "Hey you..." Kano: "But you know, hearing about a side of Yoru I didn't know made me kinda happy." Kiui: "So sorry that you're stuck with someone you're not interested in here." Kano: [shouts] "That isn't true! I also love Kiui you know!" Kiui: "I was joking! Don't shout so loudly in the bath..." Kano: "Aah. Sor-, sorry." Kiui: "And so, tomorrow we're going to talk about you." Kano: "Eh? Me?" Kiui: "Just talking about me is unfair wouldn't you say?" Kano: "Hmm. But you know, you didn't really say that much about yourself?" Kiui: "I told you about what you wanted to hear didn't I? Kano: "Hmm... tell me one more thing!" Kiui: "If you will tell me a decent story, I'll think about it." Kano: "Oooo...alright! In that case I shall prepare something special." Kiui: "Now you've said it. I'm pretty difficult to satisfy you know?" Kano: "And I have some pretty good stuff you know. Like all kinds of stuff from my SunDolls days... fu, fu, fuuu. Kiui: "What is with that weird laugh? Alright then, what would you tell me for a secret story about when the jellyfish mural was made?" Kano: [excited] "Eh!? What's with that I wanna hear! Ask me anything! I'll tell you anything!" Kiui: "Woah, you're way too easy."
Ep 8: [0:00] Kano: "It's evening (yoru)." Kiui: "It sure is evening." Mei: "It is evening indeed." Mahiru: "Uh, it is like my name is being called over and over and feels rather strange." Kiui: "Tell that to Kano. She is the only one who calls you 'Yoru'." Kano: "But Yoru is Yoru isn't she? Ah, now it is 'Mahiru' (midday)!" Mei: "So deep..." Mahiru: "It's not deep at all. Anyways isn't everyone too worn out? We took the trouble to take a bath so it really should have a "refresh" kind of feel..." Kiui: "Even if you say that, you're actually tired from working all the time, right?" Mei: "Entering the bath made all my tiredness come out..." Kiui: "When you're tired that is actually the correct response." Mahiru: "Anyways, don't you not know what to talk about at times like these?" Kiui: "True, we are the Inexperienced Squad." Mei: "I have experience but I didn't have friends!" Mahiru: "It is hard to react to that...." Kiui: "And so Mahiru, offer us a topic for high school girls." Mahiru: "What?" Kano: "Oh, nice. Mahiru does do the most high school girl stuff." Mei: "I also agree with Nono-tan." Mahiru: [groan] Kiui: "So there we go Mahiru. We're counting on you." Mahiru: "Eeh, what a way to leave it to someone else..." Mahiru: "Hmm, lets see. The standard really is... love talk or something?" Kano/Kiui/Mei: [gasps/oooh/hm?]" Mahiru: "What is with those reactions..." Mahiru: "Let alone high school girls, it is a standard for girls!" Kiui: "No, are you saying that thinking we actually have anything?" Mei: "In the first place romance is banned for Nono-tan!" Kano: "No, it wasn't particularly banned. I didn't have that kind of person but [dramatically] maybe my fans were my lover." Mei: "Nono-tan...!" Mahiru: "Yeah, this was my mistake. I made a mistake." Kiui: "As long as you understand, it is fine." Mahiru: "It kinda looks like this has become my fault now..." Mei: "But for you to have brought it up, Mahiru, you must have something right? Love talk." Mahiru: "ah...eh..." Kano: [gasp] "...Mahiru?" Mahiru: "Right now it would be my art, really." Kiui: "She sure ran away." Kano: "She ran away." Mei: "She ran away indeed." Mahiru: "Because right now everyone in JELEE is like my lover!" Kano: "Ah, in that case that is how it for me too!" Mei: "Of course me too!" Kiui: "Then me too." [all laughs] Mahiru: "I guess, in the end it wasn't love talk at all." Kano: "But this sort of thing is kinda fun." Kiui: "It is like us." Kiui: "When we were at the driving school too, just talking about whatever was fun." Kano: "Yup. I got to hear a ton about Mahiru's past." Mahiru: "Eh? Hey wait, Kiui-chan I didn't hear about this!" Kiui: "I got to hear a whooole lot of Kano's secrets too." Mei: "Ki-, Kiwi-san!? Are you trying to steal a lead! I, too, want to hear stories about Nono-tan!" Kano: "My secrets are pretty expensive you know?" Mei: "One-, Is one hundred thousand enough? No, how about one million?" Kano: "No no don't take out mone......hm?" Mei: [rummaging around] "Lets see here, to immediately withdraw it from my account... (etc.)" Kano: "Wai- joke! It was a joke! For now close your wallet!"

JELEE Tweets

One of the ways the creators of this work is bringing it out into the real world is by having an X account for JELEE run by the main characters in-universe. It started off from even before episode 1 aired with Kano tweeting her thoughts and eventually all four members are using the account. Many of the tweets simply acknowledge events from the anime but there are quite a few that give new information or a second perspective about stuff. Here are some of the MahiKano-relevant ones. Check the tweet link for the actual emoticons and pictures.
By: Tweet Translation Notes
X JELEE Is this the so-called "fated meeting" thing? [sparkle x2] When episode 1 aired.
X JELEE I went with the new member to karaoke. I'm always doing solo karaoke so this was crazy fun!! This was before Mei joined (who doesn't like singing anyways) so this was a Kano & Mahiru outing.
X JELEE I'm glad JELEE-chan's design could also be shown off [cry, heart]. It is the girl from the MV~!. Isn't she the absolute cutest? The one who drew her was my beloved illustrator, the one in charge of JELEE's illustrations: Umitsuki Yoru~ [sparkle x2] Talking about the "Invincible Girl" MV.
X JELEE It seems Yoru can also cook. So skillful~ I wonder if she'd cook for me sometime~ or something… [squee]
X JELEE Tadah! A jellyfish came out~~ Actually it wasn't mine, it came from Yoru's lol. I'll cherish it--[cry] Continuation of a tweet about the choco eggs from ep 4.
X JELEE Yoru's homemade cream stew [hand over eyes, heart]
X JELEE It is from the song illustration - yes, from Yoru's illustration - that I made this song! The lyrics came to me the moment I saw the picture, and it was so much fun! [sparkle x2] Talking about the "Shibuya Aquarium" MV.
X Yoru ^ Thank you JELEE-chan. From now on, I want to create more things like this where various worlds can expand from a single picture.
X JELEE When we went to the aquarium recently, Yoru called the garden eels to be "so cool!"... Her "sense" really is something! [laugh]
X Yoru ^ Wait, JELEE-chan!! The story about the garden eels is embarrassing... [covering eyes] I love sea creatures so I get excited... Here's a picture of the jellyfish I saw.
X Kimura When I heard Yoru-san and JELEE-san went to the aquarium together the other day I've gotten so jealous... Aaaaaah it seems like something will happen... [cry x3] It feels like I need to do something.
X JELEE ^ There, there, calm down Kimura-chan~[halo] I'll go again with you, so cheer up.
X Kimura ^ Haaa~~~ I love you JELEE-san!!!!!!!!! Absolutely, please let us have a passionate day!!!!!
X Nox It seems Yoru and JELEE went to see a movie I was interested in "Angels and Demons". They recommended it to me… Did everyone else see it? Give me your impressions! This is the movie we see a glimpse of in ep 1. No idea if they went to the movies then or if it was more recent.
X JELEE Nice question [wink] Of course it is "yoru" [heart] Part of a series of answering questions from fans. This one was "What time of day do you like? It's gotta be "yoru" right?"
X Yoru ^ Wait JELEE-chan…! That's embarrassing…!
X JELEE It's a must-see for Yorufans, full of materials from "JELEE" and illustrations drawn by Yoru. [kiss throw] --Umitsuki Yoru's Representative Fan, JELEE Part of a tweet by Kano encouraging fans to check out Yoru's pixiv.
X Yoru ^ JELEE-chan is muttering embarrassing things again. I update at my own pace, so the pictures I upload may vary, but I hope you enjoy them.
X JELEE Yesterday, Yoru made some omelet rice and brought it to me because she was worried about my eating habits. Isn't she too kind?? I'm falling in love~ [flushed face]
X Kimura ^ F- Falling in…? Eh…? Just wait a moment. I also have confidence in my flavors!!! My SaShiSuSeSo is perfect! Enough that I have an original customization! Salsa, cinamon, vinegar, back fat, and Worcestershire sauce. Next time I'll bring you my specialty dish! SaShiSuSeSo is a mnemonic to remember the basic seasonings of Japanese cooking. Translated, it is SUPPOSED to stand for sugar, salt, vinegar, soy sauce, and miso.
X Yoru ^ Kimura-chan…calm down! (Also, your SaShiSuSeSo is very peculiar…lol) In that case lets have a Cooking Practice Meet at JELEE's next time.
X JELEE ^ Nice! I'm in charge of eating, so I'm counting on you.
X Yoru Actually, the four of us have been talking about going to the aquarium together, and I'm really looking forward to it. What are everyone's favorite sea creatures? Of course mine are just jellyfish, lol!
X Yoru ^ By the way, my #1 fave is the crystal jelly!!! Aequorea victoria, the specific species used as the motif for this series.
X JELEE ^ Mine too! As expected of Yoru!! We really get along [heart hands]
X Kimura ^ I support the sacamambaspis and JELEE-san! Sacamambaspis is an extinct fish that went viral in Japan.
X Nox ^ I'd say mine is the giant isopod~. Its form is electrifying! Giant isopod
X Yoru ^ It's great everyone's interests are coming out!! Now I'm even more excited to go to the aquarium! I'll take my drawing kit with me.

2024.05.28 21:12 sleepy_summer_ Jasmines

I walked into your house and though you’re gone for real now, it didn’t hit me until I saw the shallow piles of dishes in your sink.
And you always did the dishes right away.
I couldn’t help but wonder, why the house didn’t feel like home anymore, but I guess you were the one, who made it home.
It's as if it were just yesterday, when we'd climbed to the roof, land gotten ost in the constellations for hours. when I'd lain on your lap, listening to your stories.
Just like yesterday, when I was helping you plant flowers, and you kissed my forehead, leaving behind a moist imprint.
It’s hard to believe your touch no longer warms the space, like it did just days ago.
They told me you were gone; I didn’t sob, or wail.
Waves of regret washed over me, wishing I had savoured every second spent with you, treasuring each story you shared As if it were a precious gem.
Remorse whispered in the quiet corners of my mind, reminding me of missed opportunities and unspoken words, longing to turn back time and rewrite our shared chapters with more love and presence.
My grief was horribly discreet, but as persistent and almost as silent as the bleeding from an unstitched wound.
I couldn't bear it anymore. I screamed and I cried, and cried even more.
The weight of regret lingered, a bittersweet reminder of our connection and the fleeting nature of time.
I halfway hoped that if you could hear me screaming on your way to heaven, you would turn around, and come back to me.
I remember you called me one day. You asked me, ‘what are those pretty flowers called that you like?’
The next day I saw you had planted jasmines, just for me, in your garden outside.
You said jasmines soften anxiety, and I wonder if I could plant a garden so dense within my mind, where the knots in my chest unravel, never to tighten again.
I promise to leave you jasmines as well, when I learn to say goodbye to you.
I know the earth will take care of you now, just how you took care of it, too.

2024.05.28 19:43 Any_Tumbleweed4559 Mitsubishi - muh-a26wv (2006 split system discontinued - R22) and its OEM outdoor fan motor - ra6v75-ad - have killed the motor by trying to oil it? plus other concerns plz

Hi All,
I was performing DIY routine cleaning of my outside condenser unit and noticed the fan motor had 2 unsealed holes on it. So I stupidly without researching squirted some oil into. and some put on the shaft too. There were no problems with the motor at all to begin with - no noises nothing and the propeller rotated fine. There wss no side to side to play either. Since, I have manged to drain out majority of the oil by gravity after reading that it could be a sealed motor and oiling it could do more harm than good. The unit has not been plugged back since.
muh-a26wv - mostly comes up with msh-a26wv on google, although I managed to find a service manual - muh-a26wv - as well although they are very like if not the same
muh-a26wv - https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://library.mitsubishielectric.co.uk/pdf/book/MUH-A18-30WV_Service_Manual__OB322A_&ved=2ahUKEwjov-eT7bCGAxW4d2wGHdDIB-oQFnoECBQQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1hXfFb7o0sfyihI_n98SKI
msh-a26wv - https://www.manualslib.com/manual/2346302/Mitsubishi-Electric-Msh-A26wv.html#manual
OEM Motor Specs - ra6v75-ad class e dm61j769h14 (ip24) ser. no.40 10039 - Single/Fixed Speed
Questions/Concerns/Facts:
- The condenser on heat cycle was producing copious amounts of water and had no drain outlet pipe installed - which could be a normal thing in winters? But the amount was insane. - Any advice what to check here highly appreciated!
- Will using a foam based coil cleaner help with these deposits and grime? Th unit has been rinsed a lot in the last 4-5 days so Im worried about another thorough rinse to add more moisture - I had 2 fans going all day today - so there is little to no moisture left. Honestly, I'm over it for it for the moment.
- Also, how should do go about cleaning grime dust off on the outdoor deicer P.C. board area - the unit has been powered from mains for a few days now if that's relevant. Just dont wanna fry anything.
Sorry I have ADHD so just vomiting out whatever I did - apologies if the post doesn't flow right, but everything is in there,
Thanks in advance! Cheers.

2024.05.28 18:54 Fun-Television-3683 What ever happened to Pastor Steve Matheson

Pastor Steve Matheson: Preacher of Hypocrisy
If there were a prize for the most hypocritical preacher of the decade, Pastor Steve Matheson would be a top contender. For years, Matheson, the voice behind the radio show "To Every Man an Answer," dished out advice like it was going out of style, particularly hammering home the point that leaving an abusive relationship was simply not an option. Marriage vows, according to Matheson, were sacred bonds that could never be broken—unless, apparently, you were Pastor Steve himself.
While Matheson was busy telling battered spouses to stick it out for the long haul, he was living a double life. He carried on a multi-year affair right under everyone's noses, all the while pretending to be the paragon of marital virtue. The plot thickened when his dirty little secret came to light. Instead of facing the music, Matheson bailed on his wife and two young children (both under 5 years old) to shack up with his secretary slash affair partner. Divorce soon followed, marking a spectacularly ironic turn for a man who built his career on the sanctity of marriage.
The Garden Fellowship wasted no time in showing Matheson the door, firing him from his pastor gig. But here's where it gets really juicy: CSN Radio, the network that broadcasted his holier-than-thou rants, decided to play dumb. Rather than informing their listeners about Matheson's fall from grace, they opted for the classic cover-up. Just like they've done with other wayward preachers, they swept it all under the rug, hoping no one would notice.
This move by CSN Radio has left a bad taste in the mouths of many listeners. The blatant hypocrisy of preaching one thing while doing the complete opposite was bad enough, but the network's refusal to come clean about it is downright infuriating. People who tuned in for guidance and moral clarity got a heavy dose of deceit instead.
Pastor Steve Matheson's saga is a glaring reminder of the dangers of blind faith in public figures. It's also a call to action for greater transparency and accountability, especially from institutions that claim to uphold high moral standards. Until then, it seems like the only thing more sacred than marriage vows in Matheson's world is the art of the cover-up.
Shortly after being ousted from The Garden Fellowship, Pastor Steve Matheson made a comeback as a guest speaker at a failing, opportunistic local church. There, he delivered a self-pitying sermon titled "How to Take a Punch," where he painted himself as the victim of Satan's sucker punch. For an entire hour, he droned on in a "woe is me" Ted Talk about how unfairly he'd been treated by his congregation, conveniently omitting any mention of his abandoned family or the family of his mistress whose marriage he also wrecked. Rumor has it that Matheson is plotting a return to ministry via his previous money-grubbing venture, Equip The Saints, a website and podcast where he hawks his sermons for a profit. It seems Pastor Steve is determined to stay in the limelight, moral compass be damned.
