My wife gets bad migraines and bought some headache pills (Imitrex) in Mexico. She has a prescription for them in the states. Can she legally bring them back into the states, or is she out $100?

I've been staying home from work, because I assume it's contagious, but what is it? Never had chicken pox but I don't see the same kind of blisters. There are a few pimple like things, but not many, and none are bigger than a mm or two. Had the varicella vaccine when it first came out around '95, up to date on my MMR boosters, etc. Recently went for allergy testing, everything came back negative. Naturally VERY dermatographic, though (hence the anti-histamines). Recent travel includes Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (about a month ago), and Disney World (not land.)
Other symptoms include a recurring headache since last Friday (NOT a migraine), and feeling slightly feverish, but haven't had a temp over 99F. I have taken acetaminophen, which could be reducing the fever. The rash isn't really itchy, but with the anti-histamines for the dermatographism, that doesn't surprise me. Rash started on chest on Sunday, maybe? Started in on legs yesterday.
Can anyone identify it? I'm mostly just curious.

2013.08.19 03:59 bendreamlover What kind of OTC meds can you get in Mexico now (imitrex etc)?

Hi fellow migraine sufferers, I will be visiting Mexico soon. I live in the USA and do not have insurance. I hope to be able to purchase Imitrex or Maxalt and any other migraine aids. I know the availability and cost of medications has changed dramatically. Can anyone let me know what they have experienced in any recent visits on any medications at all related to migraine relief, both cost and also if customs has been cracking down on taking them away if you don't have a prescription?
The same goes for any legitimate (if they exist) online sites that claim they can ship any pain relief migraine medicine, I find it hard to believe.
thank you.
