Slingerland violin

Hello! Me and my dad just bought a Roland TD-4 drum set and we don't know much about it. My dad used to be a drummer and has a slingerland acoustic drumset but we took it down a while ago and he bought this set now. I'm a bassist and know how to play piano, guitar, violin and a little drums, but we were looking at a second crash but don't know if we should get it. What do you guys think?
