Dedicated to exposing censorship and news suppression - any and all forms - in the wake of the dismantling of Net Neutrality. Even Reddit, our beloved place for exposing injustices, has become overrun with trolls, bots, mods who are just a little too apt to censor what they are intellectually incapable of understanding (the big picture). The intended effect of this sub is to be a spring; that is, the harder corrupt agents push facts down, the higher those facts bounce back as public knowledge.

2024.06.01 15:47 japan_diet_kagemitsu Discussion on Japanese Cedar (Sugi) in the Japanese National Diet

This article is based on discussions from the Japanese National Diet in March 2024.

Japanese Cedar, or Sugi, has been a significant topic in recent National Diet debates due to its impact on various sectors such as forestry, health, and the environment. Sugi has been widely planted across Japan, resulting in both benefits and challenges, particularly regarding pollen allergies and forest management.

Pollen Allergy Countermeasures

In March 2024, pollen allergy countermeasures for Sugi were a major topic in the National Diet. Representative Kenko Matsuki of the Liberal Democratic Party pointed out the increasing number of pollen allergy sufferers and criticized the government's slow response. In response, Environment Minister Shintaro Ito announced the "Initial Intensive Response Package" aimed at reducing pollen emissions. This plan includes the intensive logging and replanting of Sugi in designated areas to mitigate pollen emissions.

Sugi Forest Management

Discussions on Sugi forest management were also significant. Representative Taka Shinohara of the Constitutional Democratic Party highlighted the problems associated with Sugi monoculture plantations established after World War II. These problems include low biodiversity, soil degradation, and increased pest infestations. Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Kazuchika Iwata emphasized the need for sustainable forest management and the importance of creating diverse forests to address these issues.

Economic Impact

The economic value of Sugi was another critical discussion point. Representative Shinji Inoue of the Liberal Democratic Party stressed the need to expand the use of Sugi wood to increase domestic demand for timber. In response, Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry Hideyuki Urata explained that technological developments are underway to promote the use of Sugi in construction, particularly for beams and girders in high-rise buildings. This initiative aims to boost domestic timber demand and revitalize the forestry industry.

Impact on Local Economies

The impact on local economies was also discussed. Many regions rely on forestry, and increasing the demand for Sugi wood can stimulate local economies. Representative Yozo Kaneko of the Liberal Democratic Party addressed the aging forestry workforce and the lack of successors, urging for specific support measures. The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries committed to introducing new forestry technologies and expanding training programs for young people.

Conclusion

The discussions in the Japanese National Diet on Sugi covered a wide range of topics, including pollen allergy countermeasures, forest management, economic impact, and the effects on local economies. These discussions represent an important step toward achieving sustainable forestry and a healthy living environment in Japan.

2024.06.01 15:46 Kydexx m-key not functioning

Hi!
I bought a Pro x TKL lightspeed keyboard recently and have had a great time with it.
Now 2 weeks since i bought the keyboard i started to notice that my 'm' key wasn't working as it should.
The issue started randomly this morning. my 'm' key wasn't functioning anymore. When i use a keyboard tester, the key is detected and it shows up as being pressed when i press it, but it is not typing the letter anywhere. When i reboot my pc the key works for 5 min and than it stops again.
I tried the all the common steps but nothing seems to resolve the issue.
Thanks!

2024.06.01 15:44 CopperSledge00 CTB35 love

A couple days ago, I posted a question for a comparison between the CTB35, MPL30 and GR1. After some more thinking, I decided to jump and order the CTB35 and WOW this bag is fantastic!
For the Canadians on the fence - I picked the free shipping and essentially got the bag overnighted with a $111 duty and taxes bill. All delivered through FedEx.
GR1 26L comparison - The main bucket is essentially the same size as the GR1 26L (Slightly bigger due to the specs). I tested by packing towels into packing cubes. With the loadout in the GR1, each bag could pack the same packing cubes but couldn't pack neither my dopp kit or charging kit. There was absolutely no more room. After zipping up the CTB35, I noticed there was even more room that I could shove in through the top. The extra storage on the CTB35 definitely comes from the pockets on the front flap & laptop compartment which just ate up everything I threw at it.
Cons or weird things I noticed -

2024.06.01 15:44 OppositeDependent959 Please help me with credit cards in the UK!

Hello my fellow redditors! I am immigrant from India in the UK who came here for his master's degree. I don't have any family or friends here to help or guide me. I opened my first bank account in Monzo because of a referral from my friend's friend and that let me to get the Monzo flex card which I have been using for more than a year now. During this year, I also managed to get a basic capital one credit card and a few days ago I got my Vanquis credit card. I am now working full time even though in a minimum pay job and am wondering what is the next step with the credit card game? I have no idea about the credit cards because I didn't bother getting a credit card back in India and the Monzo flex is the CC I got. I have never made any debt on the credit cards I've already got and raised my credit score close to 800 now. Now I need help figuring out what's the next step. Maybe some credit card with some benefits? Assume I don't know anything ( which is the truth ), and help figure out the credit card game! Thanks in advance to all that takes time to respond!

2024.06.01 15:44 Matt73837 Longtime user review

I discovered Rezi on my last job search in 2021/22. Working on my resume is an activity that is always difficult to start but Rezi made that step feel so much less daunting. It’s not just words on a page, you walk through refining each piece and get those helpful realtime tips as you go. It found plenty of opportunities to improve that first resume and the end product was so much better.
I was at a job that I was miserable at, but wanted to get into a different industry which was really difficult to do since my experience was not an exact match to what other industries were looking for.
From that point I committed to using Rezi, got a pro license and started applying to at least one job a day. I got into a great rhythm with Rezi and would always copy/paste the job description to check keywords and spent a few minutes changing some phrasing to hit more keywords and to get to a resume score of 100.
I also used the AI cover letter tool to get a really good cover letter started which I ended up using with minor adjustments throughout my job search. I still did some rewriting and adjusting myself but much like the resume, it took away that blank page feeling by giving me a structure and it made it approachable.
Ultimately I kept up this effort for a few months. One resume a day every day for over 100 days. That’s over 100 tailored resumes sent out and the interviews started rolling in.
Getting more interviews proved I was getting past the ATS automated resume screener and actually making it to a person which was my main goal. The person may not hire me but I needed to make sure my resume was at least being looked at and now it was. I kept my foot on the gas and continued applying every day until I got an offer.
In the end I got 3 solid offers which helped me negotiate and ended up at the perfect fit job at a Fortune 500 company in a completely different industry than I had ever worked. I fully believe that I got this job because of my vastly improved and tailored resume from using Rezi which got my resume to the hiring manager. If I had continued sending my old resume I honestly don’t think I would have most of the interviews I did.
I recommend this to everyone I know and just used it again yesterday to give my resume a refresh. What I love is that this helps you represent yourself the best way possible and gives you a leg up getting through the automated resume screener at companies. It feels like having a resume coach walking through each resume with you and suggesting small tweaks to give you a better chance. You never have a chance if your resume never makes it to a person. With Rezi you can put the best version of yourself on paper and get through that screener to get more interviews. And with more interviews you’ll get better at those too and have more and more chances to get the offer.

2024.06.01 15:43 IgnatiosMp Entry-level affordable 2000s-2010s (carbon) road bike

Hello, I've been looking for an entry-level roadbike to commute and use recreationally. Right now, I have an even older roadbike (I think it's from the 70s) and it's starting to piss me off a bit, especially weight and brake wise.
I've been looking around and something like the Trek Domane 5.2 (from around 2005) or the Giant TCR Alliance 1.0 (from around 2010) or the Gossini Fidere look like interesting options in the used market around 500 euros, but I don't care about brands, those ones just seem to tick the right boxes, weight, price and appearance wise.
I really don't care about components as long as it's a fairly big step up, I'd rather not have Claris or Sora for example.
What are some similar models (doesn't necessarily have to be carbon, just the same frame style would be awesome) that I could keep an eye out for on the used market?
Tl;dr
I need a bike for around 60-70km during the week and about 30km recreational excursions during some weekends of the month, I like the frame style of the Trek Domane 5.2 2005 for example, but it's not widely available on the used market where I live, what other bikes can I be on the lookout for? Only requirements: above claris/sora components, below 9kg, below 500 euros.
Thanks a lot!

2024.06.01 15:43 Thief0625 Saw someone else release a snip of their fic figured I'd dropped a bit of mine

Once in the brush a solid 50 feet into it, I was able to start taking inventory of my gear and inspecting my gear. My phone was not bricked which was a blessing, however it was failing to pick up any kind of signal, battery was still full along with the solar charging pack that I kept on the outside of ole Alice. Both of my red dots were still on, all the flashlights turned on without issue, and the pvs-15 I had secured in a water proof box was in better shape than I expected. Food… enough for another 5 days if I stretch it out properly, water is good for now, I should be able to refill off the river and sanitize it. Lets get most of this shoved back in along with the plastic covered brick… ‘ ‘Oh fuck this proably a kilo of coke, neat.’ The sound of organized marching immediately caught my ears, which was strange since I was seemingly in the middle of nowhere though that only raised further concerns, marching with that level of sync meant military. If it is military, then someone in a kit with this kind of gear will probably be immediately shot. ‘Fuck fuck fuck… Alright, calm down and think, if they see you they shoot on sight or try to take your prisoner, at best you are taken to the closest American embassy… Death on one hand and a hopefully peaceful return on the other… or I could follow them to their camp or base and try to go from there based on whatever language they speak their equipment… Then try to make my way to the nearest embassy or port that way…’ As my thoughts raced, a woman's scream tore my mind from the deepening hole it was attempting to dig. Now shit had just taken a drastic turn, the ever rumbling sound of lock step marching was continuing, but there was a smaller amount than before. ‘Interesting, time to make a bad situation even worse.’ I grabbed my small carbine and quickly began creeping towards the edge of the woodline to begin taking a peak and observing the nearby forces. Hoping that it was some sort of NATO ally or at least some sort of uniform that I could use to easily identify what region of the world I was in. ‘What the fuck….’ I let my AR dip into its sling so I could rub my sweat dried eyes before looking back out, it looked like I was observing a strange mix of a Roman Legion and medieval knights, which honestly made little sense since seeing as the fighting doctrine for both usually did not overlap. The internal debate aside, I was able to see about 5 of the wanna be Romans running after what looked to be a mother and child, in modern looking clothes, they were making a break towards the river. Unfortunately, the Legionaries were gaining swiftly. Dropping to a crouched position, I lined up the small red dot on the side of the furthest forward man, he was reaching out trying to grab the child and wasn’t focused on his footing going over the rocky bank, a wiry smile grew on my face as I click the safety of the carbine and begin the slow squeeze of the trigger. An old prayer that I had heard from an infantry chaplain came to mind as the first shot against another person left the barrel. “Lord make me fast and accurate, may my aim be true and heart in the right, but should today be my last O’ Lord then let me leave this world in an empty pile of brass, so that when I report to Saint Peter he can find an empty space just for me, in your Son’s blessed and Holy name… AMEN!”
The hammer drops on to the back of the firing pin, launching it forward into the back of the primer cap, igniting it and launching the 62 grain clump of steel and copper down the 11.5 inch barrel and the additional 6 inches of suppressor, throwing it out at speeds thought impossible by the folks of this world as it spun right into the Legionnaire's exposed armpit, tearing muscle and bone with a fresh wave of hatred. As the steel cored round began to break down and send the fragmentation of itself and the bones it shattered into the various organs, the final remains of the bullet tore through the heart, ending the man's life. His body laid out in a dead flop, tripping his allies as they were not prepared for the sudden death, adjusting my aim to the last man of the group, aiming for just below the edge of his helmet and firing twice, throwing two more rounds down range. The first one tearing through his bicep with the other catching him in the throat. By now they had noticed that this wasn’t the typical trip up but rather, what you can consider an impromptu ambush. ‘Good’

2024.06.01 15:42 MiiQ Hexblade Warlock with randomised pact weapon inspired by Crazy Slots from HxH

I've been thinking about possible future character as my current campaign is closing to the end and started thinking of testing out Warlock properly (so far I've only played Genie Warlock in on evening oneshot).
I came with the idea of having Pact of the Weapon that randomises the weapon everytime the player would call for it, similar to Crazy Slots from HunterXHunter. There are some aspects that I am still hesitant on what would actually work and how to make sure it doesn't go overboard or stay lackluster. The pact of the weapon itself does already support this as the weapon with the Improved Pact Weapon, I just leave the decision up to a dice. But the other modifications are just plain homebrew
Basic things I've tried to think about:
So in essence, when rolling for the weapon, you get whatever the dice decides, and alongside that, the 2 feats would change to accomodate the weapon. If player has no active pact weapon, then the lvl1+lvl4 feats do not "exist" in the normal situation. Same goes for the one spell, so if player has no active Pact weapon on theirhand, they know one less spell than normally.
The 1dX could be anything depending on how many actually good ideas there are for the weapons, I've also thought about that the dice could be 2 higher than the weapons formulated, so that one of the outcomes is that player can decide which weapon to take, and the other can be that DM decides it.
Weapon rolls I've thought about
Roll Weapon Feat 1 Feat 2 Spell
1 Glaive Great Weapon Master Polearm Darkness
2 Longbow Sharpshooter Alert Banishing Smite
3 Heavy Crossbow Crowwbow Expert Sharpshooter Branding Smite
4 Greataxe Great Weapon Master Sentinel Spirit Shroud
5 Dagger + Hand Crossbow Crossbow Expert Mobile Thunder Step
6 Sword + Shield Warcaster Shield Master Staggering Smite
7 2x Sickle Fighting Initiate: Two-weapon fighting Dual Wielder Cone of Cold
8 Trident + Net Fighting Initiate: Thrown Weapon Fighting Sharpshooter Cause Fear
9 DM gets to decide from 1-8
10 Player gets to decide from 1-8
My aim is that there is downside of not knowing what weapon player might get, so they could get something completely useless for the current scenario. But to balance that, the weapons would change their first 2 feat slots + 1 spell slots, so that they are still completely build around the weapon they get.
Current things I'm wondering about:

2024.06.01 15:42 New_Selection_4503 Help, is husband cheating?

Husband of 20 years is probably cheating on me. So here it goes, sll of my dirty secrets.
I, 45f been married to my husband 46, male for over 20 years to a man I met in my early 20’s. We have been very best friends since the day we met but it has been a rocky relationship. I am from an abusive alcoholic family and I was for a time blissfully an alcoholic along with the family. This of coarse was problematic when looking for a date. More than one boyfriend broke up with me because I drank too much, partied too hard and studied too little. Cue in my dream man, he’s responsible, well educated and a heavy drinker. We partied all night and he got up the next day, no matter how hungover and went to work. My mom said that this is normal, it’s how it’s supposed to be. If a man makes it to work everyday then he’s not an alcoholic. By her definition, only a man who misses work can be accused of drinking too much.
I married this replica of my father and for many blissful years we were married and we partied and drank. We’d drink a bottle or two of wine a few nights a week and on weekends we’d stay up all night, often having parties at our home. It was grand fun, until we had kids. All of the sudden I had to handle night feedings and morning diaper changes while tipsy, drunk or hungover. It didn’t take me long to quit, I had already quit for 9 months while pregnant and I had gotten the idea that life is better sober. But my partner didn’t agree. He was drunk most nights while I was pregnant. When I got annoyed and asked him to quit he hid the bottles. I had a second child with him in spite of the drinking (I wanted a matching set), not my best decision but I don’t regret it. When I was at the hospital he looked exhausted so I sent him home to rest. He went home and drank himself into a stupor. My mom had to drive me home from the hospital and when we got home, he was passed out on the living room floor. He slept for another 10 hours like that and he was drunk the entire first week of my daughter’s life. I had to ask my mom to help care for her since I’d had complications with the birth and had over 30 stitches.
His drinking went on for years with me going from kicking him out of the home to drinking with him. Often I would plead with him to quit and he’d refuse. On 4 occasions we separated, each time selling our home and dividing the property. But he’d get sober and he was always very sorry. At this point we had two kids and I needed the help.
Over time things got better and he went years and years without drinking. I had quit altogether after our first child. In fact things go so much better that he asked to start drinking again. He rationalized that he had been sober for 5 years and that he can handle one of two drinks a week. I agreed under the following terms, he can have up to two drinks with dinner once a week. I know this is a terrible decision, I think it’s fair to say that there is a pattern here of gawd awful decisions on my part. This 2 drink agreement lasted a few months but of course two drinks turned into 3, then it turned into a couple nights a week. I saw it was getting out of hand and I banned drinking again.
In the meantime my partner has gotten substantially better looking. It’s through a combination of favourable genetics, some recent work done and some excellent supplements. He aged well going from a 6.5 in his 20’s to a current day 8.5. More than that he’d recently opened a business and it was booming. For the first time in our married life he started to out earn me. For the first 20 years I was the primary wage earner, but now he’s making the more than me (this is temporary as my wage is about to pick up). The woman are noticing him and It’s not lost on me or him. We went to Mexico last year and women were practically following him around and throwing themselves at him. We go out to eat and woman hit on him. They hit on him at the grocery store and they hit on him at work. To his credit he does not respond to this in front of me or the kids. Nor have I ever heard of him hitting on somebody.
I’m a solid 7 - 7.5. I’ve aged okay, I look decent, I’m maybe a little heavier as size 10. But I’m not a hot young thing giggling at him. I am a wife and a mother, so not always sexy, but still quite a lot prettier than average. But realistically on the open market, I’m probably not attracting an 8.5 that earns his kind of money.
About 8 months ago he started coming home from work drunk. He was hiding it but I could smell the booze on his breath. He claimed it was heartburn but I knew better and I ignored it. I just wanted everything to be okay. There was a woman he was working with, he claimed to hate her, she seemed overly interested in him. There were a few incidents, that made me suspicious but he claimed he hated her. He was never home late from work. She moved away and he seemed fine and I was relieved. But a few months after this the drinking started, along with my denial. I guess I kinda figured that who cares if he cheated, she moved away. Now we can get on with our lives.
Recently he’s coming home from work late, but not too late. It’s an hour late here and there. Sometimes he’d claim that he’d have to stay an extra hour. A few times he went completely missing and claimed to have fallen asleep at the office. The problem is that I don’t really know his hours, it’s possible he’s done earlier. For context, he is self employed and rents a space. But other people rent spaces there too,
He’s been coming home drunker and drunker lately while still denying he’s been drinking. I’m ashamed to admit it but I ignored it to the point where I let him drive the kids a few times like that. I was just so far into denial, but I knew somewhere deep down that he was drunk.
He’s normally off work at 5pm and in the car by 5:10pm. But lately he’s not in the car until 5:45pm, ignoring my calls and sometimes coming into the house as late as 6pm. I mean it’s only 45 minutes right? A few times he’d go missing until 7:30 or 8pm and he’d say that he hate a late client appointment and had told me but I forgot. Strangely he’s never hungry when he gets home, in spite of being at work all day. In fact he’s not hungry 2 - 3 times a week. He told me that his stomach is bothering him.
Last night he went missing so I went to his office to look for him. I found him asleep in his office alone with an empty bottle of hard alcohol on his desk. I checked his office drawer and it was full of empty bottles. The office is a disaster, messy and all that. I’m not sure how he sees clients in a room like that and I’m worried that he’s taking appointments drunk. His business is doing really well and building it up was a joint effort. I’m worried that his drinking will destroy everything we built.
I woke him up and he was visibly drunk. He told me that he wants to stay at the office to sleep it off and that no he doesn’t want to talk about it and he didn’t come home. It’s been 6 hours. The thing is, that he hates sleeping in his work clothes and his office is desperately uncomfortable. I just don’t see him staying there overnight alone.
When the drinking flared up 6 months ago, it was just him drinking alone. But when he was sober he was still my best friend. But over time he’s stopped responding when I speak. He tells me that he drinks because he can’t stand to listen to my problems anymore. If I ask him about his day I get a one word answer. More and more he looks at me with contempt while drinking. But even stranger, he wants sex more often, I don’t know why this is. But he’s weird about it and hounding me. He’s going on and on about how to wants to try a sex position we’ve never done, talking about how much he likes it. He’s also looking over my shoulder and checking my phone, which is new. it’s intrusive as I don’t even know his passcode and feel no temptation to check his phone.
He gets paid in cash and has a drawer full of it at the office so I can’t check his cards.
Now I know what you are going to say. He’s definitely cheating, I mean he probably is. But we live in a no fault place so what does it matter if I get proof or not? Also I have two kids to think of and we aren’t in a financial position to leave. I will need time to pay down our joint debt and I need a new job. I’m thinking that the best course of action is to stay silent and improve my situation so that I can support my kids and myself. I think this works for him too as he doesn’t want to get stuck with all sorts of child support or alimony. Giving me time to get back on my feet and improve my financial position works for both of us.
The thing is that if I even bring up getting divorced or separated he says that I am the light of his life. He says that he loves me and that I’m his best friend. He says that he doesn’t want to leave. Then I feel so badly. If I even broach the topic of separating, he’ll shut it down so quickly. He’s overwhelming and persistent and he out talks me. I think there’s no use in talking it out and I don’t see us living together well under some sort of “arrangement”.
Do you have any advice on what to do next? Do you have any idea why he’s acting this way? If he wants to separate why not just do it? Also what’s with the increased sex drive?
One of the oddities is that I’ve been doing really great lately. I’ve lost some weight, my hair is looking good. My business sucks but I’ve been taking on new gigs and retraining. I’m becoming a person that I’m really proud of and every day seems to be getting better. But the better I do, the more contempt he seems to have for me. I can see the bitterness in his drunkenness. And he gets drunks on nights when I have to work and when I have something important going on. He blames the drinking on me. He says that I only talk about myself (maybe I do, I’m trying to improve). He says that I ask too much of him and that I make him contribute to the house too much but I do 100% of the grocery shopping, cooking, lunches, school stuff, homework and kids activities. He comes home and goes straight to bed while complaining that he’s doing too much. Meanwhile I’m breaking myself trying to make the home perfect enough.
Is there any chance that he’s just old and tired and not cheating? I mean he’s only missing for 45 minutes a day? I should mention that he’s stopped answering my calls during the workday and stopped reading my texts.
The weird thing is that I felt relieved to find him surrounded by booze bottles and I’m glad he’s done tonight. I’ve spent the majority of my adult life begging him to be sober. Tonight I could see the contempt in his eyes towards me. I just don’t know that I can move past it. I think I just want to be free from this now.
Do you have any advice? I’ve never been through anything like this and I could use some support and guidance.
I think that taking 4 - 6 months to resolve the situation might be best. This gives me time to find a new job and to pay down some debt and bolster savings.

2024.06.01 15:42 FiveDeltaSix The Dark Fluid mission is boring now.

They moved the spawns too far out. Now, you really don't have to throw stuns or smokes to protect the drill anymore. Nor do you need to coordinate with teammates to instantly kill bile titans that spawn inside the perimeter. You only need to bring enough anti-tank to kill chargers and bile titans, which now spawn outside of your perimeter. Here is a very strong Helldive-capable loadout:
Weapons:
Stratagems:
Armor:
Throw down the EMS Mortar and EAT, spam breaker incendiary into bug breaches, and one/two-tap any chargers or bile titans that show up with some combination of your three anti-tank options. If bile spewers show up, you have six impact grenades that one shot them, and a grenade pistol that two shots them. At the extraction, throw down EMS, go prone so that you take minimal damage, and spam the breaker incendiary into the sky.
If your team fails to defend the drill, keep throwing down EATs on cooldown and type in chat "use the EATs on heavies." On PS5, ping the EATs in a cycle while projecting exasperation.
I'll admit the mission has bugs, but any challenge has been taken out of it at this point. I wonder if the spawns being so close was really an unintended bug, or if they just capitulated to the reddit hivemind. Because now, it's definitely no longer "unlike anything I've ever deployed to before."
I'll take my downvotes now.

Just Finished Day 6 of leetcoding With a medium "271. Encode and Decode Strings" Problem. Honestly at first glance it doesn't seem medium at all. Its like easy easy because I was able to do it under a minute with all test cases. I am still not sure whether that approach was right or no so I checked other solution which was hard way but I did it both the ways and will be sharing those.
Results:
For Approach 1:

For Approach 2:

Problem Description:
Design an algorithm to encode a list of strings to a stringDesign an algorithm to encode a list of strings to a string. The encoded string is then sent over the network and is decoded back to the original list of strings.
Machine 1 (sender) has the function:
string encode(vector strs) { // ... your code return encoded_string; }
Machine 2 (receiver) has the function:
vector decode(string s) { //... your code return strs; }. The encoded string is then sent over the network and is decoded back to the original list of strings.
Machine 1 (sender) has the function:
string encode(vector strs) { // ... your code return encoded_string; }
Example 1:
Input: dummy_input = ["Hello","World"] Output: ["Hello","World"] Explanation: Machine 1: Codec encoder = new Codec(); String msg = encoder.encode(strs); Machine 1 ---msg- Machine 2 Machine 2: Codec decoder = new Codec(); String[] strs = decoder.decode(msg);
Constraints:
  • 1 <= strs.length <= 200
  • 0 <= strs[i].length <= 200
  • strs[i] contains any possible characters out of 256 valid ASCII characters.
Approach 1:
For this approach, I joined first array with non-ascii character "pi" in encode and split on the decode end and that's it. If we read constraints it says string only contains valid ascii character so this approach is 100% valid imo.
Code:
var encode = function(strs) { // return strs.join("π") }; var decode = function(s) { return s.split("π")}; }
Approach 2 (The Hard way):
In this approach, We have to encode or manupulate the string in such way that we can decode it without using any additional state. What we can do is we can join each string in array with the prefix of the length followed by the "#" (Can be any special characters or even better we can use "PI " symbol here. While it work all the time initially but later figure out it failed for one of the case So I tried different symbol for rust). So after Encode it wold be ["Hello","World"] -> "5#Hello5#World".
For Decoding
  • First step would be Loop over the string with variable checking for that it does not exceed the loop
  • Next with another loop ( with another count )check wherethe we reach to "#", if we found then create a substring using both the counter and we would get the length of the string.
i.e : len = 5 (5#Hello5#World) ;The fist 5 which is for Hello
  • Get the substring again using the length and both those counter, so we will end up having "Hello" string. Increment the count by the length of counter and inner loop count and repeat. Finally return the array
JS Code:
/** * Encodes a list of strings to a single string. * * @param {string[]} strs * @return {string} */ var encode = function(strs) { let st = "" for (const str of strs) { st += `${str.length}#${str}` } return st; // return strs.join("π") }; /** * Decodes a single string to a list of strings. * * @param {string} s * @return {string[]} */ var decode = function(s) { // return s.split("π") let st = []; let i = 0; while(i For Rust:
By following "#" it did not worked on all the case sometime so I used a liitle bit different variable but overall approach is the same.
struct Codec { } /** * `&self` means the method takes an immutable reference. * If you need a mutable reference, change it to `&mut self` instead. */ impl Codec { fn new() -> Self { Codec {} } fn encode(&self, strs: Vec) -> String { let mut encoded = String::new(); for s in strs { encoded.push_str(&format!("{}:{};", s.len(), s)); } encoded } fn decode(&self, s: String) -> Vec { // vec![String::from("value")] let mut i=0; let mut res: Vec = vec![]; while i< s.len() { if let Some(colon_pos) = s[i..].find(":") { let len:usize = s[i..i+colon_pos].parse().unwrap(); let start = i+colon_pos+1; let end=start + len; res.push(s[start..end].to_string()); i = end + 1; } } return res; } } /** * Your Codec object will be instantiated and called as such: * let obj = Codec::new(); * let s: String = obj.encode(strs); * let ans: VecVec = obj.decode(s); */

2024.06.01 15:41 KingofMemes69_ The difference in power between the characters in Limbus Company and Library of Ruina is crazy to think about

Our Sinners feel incredibly powerful when we use them, but when you shift the context to Library of Ruina, they're actually so weak in comparison.
Our Sinners could do nothing against Ricardo. Even with all 12 of them, and with Dante rewinding the clock over and over, it made no difference. The situation got so bad that even Faust of all people was telling Dante to self-destruct, because she truly believed that it's over for them.
But then in the context of Library of Ruina, Ricardo is probably on Boris's level, maybe Kalo's level at most. And in Library of Ruina, we wipe the floor with the Thumb. They're actually one of the easier Star of the City receptions. After the battle, Roland doesn't even look tired. He's just casually chatting with Angela as if it was another day on the job (which it kind of is to him).
It's a little crazy to think about how we go from one game, Library of Ruina, where our MC and some assistant-librarians just demolish dozens of powerful fixers and syndicates with ease, and then another game, Limbus Company, where we have 12 Sinners who are practically invincible yet they all lose heavy-handidly to a single guy who's barely on the level of Star of the City. The majority of the Sinner's strength only comes from being able to cheat death.
If our Sinners suddenly got an invitation to the library, they would all immediatly die from Chesed sneezing on them.

2024.06.01 15:40 DottedWriter The Heart Thief

Nancy Brooks was the first victim. She was a popular cheerleader, & an energetic one at best. Everyone enjoyed her bubbly personality. So you can imagine the shock and despair that swept over our school and the entire town when she was found dead.
They said she was found in a dumpster at the back of the local pizzeria. The cause of death was nasty. A large gaping hole in her chest. But that wasn't the worst part. The worst part was that her heart was missing. This means that whoever did this had ripped her heart out with their bare hands in some brutal fashion.
The police questioned us, asked if Nancy had any enemies, and asked if there was anyone who wanted to hurt Nancy, but we couldn't think of anyone who would like to harm her. It wasn't like she did anything to warrant hatred from anybody. They continued to investigate, even with the few suspects they had, and the few amount of evidence they had.
Meanwhile, the community was in uproar over who would kill an innocent teenage girl like Nancy, and in such a brutal manner. While a memorial at Nancy's locker was made, and a vigil was held in honor of her. Rumors spread throughout the hallways over who the culprit might have been.
"I still can't believe she's dead," My friend Stanley said as we sat on his front porch. His voice was a little shaky. "It's just, how could something so horrible happen to someone like her?"
"I don't know," I said, staring at the road as cars passed by here and there. Although my face didn't show it, I felt paranoia, slowly growing in my body. It was like a seed that had just been planted into the ground and started to grow.
"They'll probably find the culprit," I told Stanley. "They'll probably find them..". The way I said it made it sound like there was hope, but at the same time, I felt like they would never catch the person responsible for killing Nacy.
Unfortunately, my prediction was proven right, they never caught the culprit. After 2 months, Nancy's case went cold. It wasn't long until the next murder happened though.
This time it was Grant Reese, a smart and slightly chubby guy. Although naive, he meant well, and some students respected him for that. He was found dead in his backyard in the same gruesome manner as Nancy—a large gaping hole in his chest.
School was canceled again, the police investigated again, and they questioned us again. But nothing turned up, again.
Eventually, the media started to dub the killer "The Heart Thief" due to how he "stole" his victims' hearts from right out of their bodies. This however didn't stop the fear and paranoia seeping over the town.
Stanley was more on edge after Grant's murder. He was more paranoid now, and who wouldn't be, there was a deranged killer on the loose, tormenting our town. And the police haven't caught them yet. But still, it was disheartening watching Stanley slowly start to become a shell of what he used to be.
Whenever I saw him, I noticed that the dark circles around his eyes seemed to grow larger, he began even to be afraid of his own shadow. Every time I talked to him, he'd always spout out a fake smile, but his eyes told a different story, they showed terror, terror of being killed by a lunatic. I still tried to make him feel safe, I still wanted to make him feel like everything was okay, even though at the back of my mind, I knew it wasn't. I was just as scared as Stanley, but I couldn't tell him about my invulnerability.
A month after Grant's murder, the Mullins twins were found dead at the local park, their hearts both missing. Even worse, only 2 weeks later, two teenage lovers, Whitney Rowe, & Troy Osborne were found dead in Troy's car, and in the same manner as Nancy, Grant, & the Mullin twins.
If Nancy and Grant's murders caused Stanley to be paranoid, this made that paranoia worse than before. He eventually stopped talking to people, he'd subsequently stop coming outside. My fear was still growing, but Stanley's was more rabid. I wasn't any better. My sleep schedule started to falter, I'd lie awake at night, trying to get rid of the Heart Thief from out of my head, and go to sleep. But I just couldn't. I couldn't get the thought of a psychopath looming over our town, killing innocent teenagers.
Eventually, Stanley stopped texting me. I wasn't too worried, but I was still concerned, but it was just for one day. He just stopped texting for one day. That wasn't much of a big idea. Was it?
Then he didn't text me the next day or the following day.
After the fourth day of not responding, I decided that I would have to check on him in person. That wasn't so bad, go to his house, ask his parents if he's okay, and check up on him. Easy job-
What if he's dead?
I shook the thought out of my head. No, he can't be. He's fine. He's fine.
"He's fine," I mutter as I walk up the steps and touch the door handle. My eyes slowly widen as the door opens. Why is the door unlocked? That doesn't make any sense-
What if the Heart Thief got him?
NO. No. He's fine. He's fine.
I carefully tread through the house, my footsteps being soft due to the shoes I'm wearing.
"Stanley...?" I said, in a hallowed whisper.
I walked forward, my heartbeat started to beat more and more. My heart rate slowly started to shoot out like a bottle rocket. Then I saw something.
Stanley's parents. They were strung up on the floor. Their necks were both snapped, and their eyes hung lifeless. I couldn't focus on the scene for long when I heard a terrible noise from upstairs. The sound of something being ripped.
I went up the stairs, my heart surged as I reached the top, and I went to Stanley's room. My thoughts were frantic as I reached his doorway.
Then my body stopped. My breathing paused as I was taking in the scene before me.
Stanley was on the floor, puking out blood as a hole was punctured through his chest. His crazed, horrified, and tearful eyes turned to mine. But then something impossible happened.
Somehow, Stanley's heart was pulled out from his chest, and it hung in the air like something was holding it. Some invisible force was holding onto Stanley's heart. Then it held it up high and then dropped it. It vanished like it fell into a mouth, and was consumed in one big gulp. I couldn't comprehend what I was witnessing. I couldn't understand how any of this happened. I just stared at what was left of my friend as the life escaped his eyes. He croaked out one final word before dying though.
"Alec....."
I just stood paralyzed, unable to do anything, my mouth hung dry as I tried to get a word out.
Then I felt a presence right next to me. It made me sweat even more than I already was at the sight of my dead best friend. My breathing grew more rabid as I felt like someone loomed over me. But no one was there. Nothing was there. But it felt like someone was. It felt like something was. Something horrible.
Then I heard a "Shhh" noise being whispered into my ear.
Suddenly, I didn't feel that terrifying presence. It left Stanley's room. It was gone, but Stanley's body wasn't.
My stomach felt sick as I exited Stanley's house, dialing 911. I only managed to mutter about finding my friend dead in his home, before I collapsed from shock on the front porch.
I eventually woke up in the hospital. My parents were tearfully thankful that I was okay and safe. Two detectives visited me too. They asked me questions about Stanley, and I answered them wearily. But even then, I couldn't tell them what I saw. I couldn't tell my parents about what happened in Stanley's home.
They did find Stanley and his parents' bodies though. Some people wondered why the Heart Thief went out of his way to kill two adults, some were still angry that the psychopath had claimed another victim. But regardless of that. I still couldn't recover from the events that unfolded in Stanley's house.
I attended his funeral, and I gave a heartfelt speech, bottling up my sadness in an attempt to look stable. But I wasn't.
Some neighbors and classmates look at me with pity on their faces, and some of them look at me funny. I could hear the whispers about me behind my back. Some of them were filled with remorse over how I lost my best friend, some were filled with suspicion over how I could have killed Stanley, or maybe even the other victims. The rumors didn't help either.
I've had to take therapy three times a week now, I feel like it's helping, but at the same time, I feel like it isn't. Nothing will ever help me recover from what I saw that afternoon.
Ever since Stanley's death, I've started to slowly become a shell of what I used to be. I began to become more aware of my surroundings, and I started to become more jumpy. My sleep schedule started to become worse too. I've had many nights where I'd lie awake at night. My mind constantly replays what happened at Stanley's house over and over.
"This is probably how Stanley felt before he died," I say, as my eyes stare at the ceiling.
The paranoia that was once set inside me has evolved into something bigger, something worse.
But that's not just it, I know who the Heart Thief is now, I know how he manages to kill his victims without ever getting caught.
I don't know why he still hasn't come for me yet. I was a direct witness to one of his murders after all. So why hasn't he come after me yet? Why hasn't he killed me? Was this all just part of his plan? To watch me break into a panicked state? To watch me devolve into a cowardous human being?
Because if this is his plan, it's working.

2024.06.01 15:40 AnthonyofBoston Mars influence cannot be denied. There were 1700 rockets fired at Israel in May, highest total of any month in 2024, which confirms the prediction that the highest concentration of rocket fire against Israel occurs when Mars is within 30 degrees of the lunar node

For five consecutive years, I have been able to predict when the highest concentration of rocket fire against Israel would occur within a calendar year.
In the last five years it was predicted that the highest escalation of rocket fire within the calendar year would occur during the time when Mars would be within 30 degrees of the lunar node. Here are the dates of Mars/lunar node alignment from the past five years.
  1. Jan 15th 2020 - Apr 3rd 2020 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5GxO4ZW2fc
  2. Feb 9th 2021 - May 13th 2021 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1sA-ZS73Lw&t
  3. June 22nd 2022 - Sept 19th 2022 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EniwV0TWew&t
  4. Aug 24th 2023 - Nov 15th 2023 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGbNPEO9qS4&t
  5. April 12th 2024 - June 25, 2024 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qW_-CiWu5b0&t
And here are the rocket fire stats, confirming all five years of accuracy
https://www.academia.edu/107766227/Gaza_rocket_stats_and_planet_Mars_correlation_updated_for_2023_
Keep in mind, In all five years the highest escalation of rocket fire into Israel occurred within those dates of Mars being within 30 degrees of the lunar node and in all five years, the prediction came before the fact and turned out to be accurate
This demonstration was also performed in fulfillment of Revelation 13:13, by which I volunteered to take on the role of the false prophet and call down fire from heaven, before urging people to make an image to the beast(Mars) and take the mark of the beast(Mars 360).

This book, the Deus Armaaruss, lays out the entire mark of the beast system, which restricts buying and selling to those who acknowledge Mars influence.
Mars 360 is a formulated and hypothesized global social accord ideally operable under the same principle as the Paris Climate Accord, which attempts to integrate all nations into a common cause. The Mars effect on human behavior inclines each individual toward certain predispositions that lend itself to fundamental outlooks which carries with it... a high degree of inflexibility. This inflexibility plays itself out in various political and social stances like socialism, pacifism, capitalism, liberalism, conservatism, libertarianism, etc, but is actually the result of Mars's permanent influence on the human brain. This gives rise to the idea that while certain stances are different in external display, they are at the same time fundamentally backed by the same source(to varying degrees of course)....which is Mars. Here is The Deus Armaaruss

This is not fan fiction, but real fulfillment of Revelation happening in real time.
Mars is to be called Armaaruss and an image is to be made to him, preferribly on the Temple mount. AI will be used to bring him into existence. I have even laid out the first lines of code, setting the stage for Armaaruss to lead the world in defense technology.
https://www.academia.edu/116953723/Armaaruss_has_taken_control_of_the_sky_Simple_JavaScript_code_that_would_allow_the_average_person_to_evade_drone_strikes_with_just_their_android_phones
To gain a following, a new concept is being devised, by which it can be considered a Christian virtue to give up salvation, in what would be a form of perditionism.
Has any Christian ever thought about approaching eschatology with such a perspective? I mean, lets look at my work. For the past 5 years, I have purposely taken on the role of the false prophet, having called down fire from heaven since 2019. In fact, I declared Revelation 13:13 fulfilled back in 2020 here on Reddit. I had no idea I would fulfill that prophecy 5 times over by predicting rocket fire escalation time periods accurately for five consecutive years straight.
When I started this journey as a Christian back in 2019, writing "Ares Le Mandat", I only intended for that work to serve as a form of apologetics for Catholicism and the error of Vatican II, but as I was writing, a part of me felt a duty to take it upon myself to fulfill the eschaton and take on the role of the false prophet, since it was clear that I knew exactly what had to be done. Why leave it in the hands of someone else, when I was the one who received the revelation? My work can be said to be Satan inspired.
If you read that 800 page book, "Ares Le Mandat", you'd see how I repeatedly mention what the role of false prophet would require. Now having taken on the role and fulfilling it in real time, I have been requesting the next part of the prophecy, that is, getting people to make an image of the beast, which I call Armaaruss. This part I cannot fulfill.
My question is what is wrong with a Christian giving up their salvation to fulfill the eschaton by making an image to Armaaruss and then taking the mark of the beast by identifying with the Mars 360 system? It seems like a noble pursuit--giving up eternal pleasure for the sake of fulfilling the word.
Maybe the idea of spending eternity in the lake of fire serves as a deterrence, but what is the lake of fire? All it is is eternal separation from God. Hell is what you want to avoid, and taking the mark will not land you in hell. The lake of fire and hell are two different things. Hell is eternal torment, which will ultimately be thrown in the lake of fire. So why should anyone fear going to the lake of fire, if it is not hell?
I think Christians need to re-examine how they view eschatology, because it seems pretty clear that its fulfillment will have to be carried out by believers who have done the noble thing and given up their place in heaven for an eternity in the lake of fire in order for the word to be fulfilled

2024.06.01 15:40 dogchow01 One beginner's way of dialling in grind size without wasting a bag of beans

Do you find yourself buying a new bag of expensive beans and wasting half the bag (maybe the whole bag) on cup after cup of poorly dialled-in grind size? That was me. And if it sounds like you, then read on.
The only equipment you need is 7-9 shot glasses (shot glasses are about 40ml).
You guessed it. My method is basically cupping very small glasses of coffee at different grind sizes.
Method:
There are a few benefits to this method:
  1. It is much easier (for a beginner) to tell the taste difference (sour-sweet-bitter) between grind sizes when you drink them side by side. One immediately after another in succession.
  2. You only used 2 grams x 7-9 glasses = so 14-18 grams of coffee to dial in the grind size. That is just one normal cup wasted (and I don't really consider it a waste).
  3. You also get to know the 'potential' of the beans. You know what a well dialled in cup is supposed to taste like. You no longer have to wonder - "is this how these beans are supposed to taste like?"
You may be wondering how this 'immersion' cupping process helps if you are a v60 percolation person. It turns out, for me at least, a v60 percolation style grind size is 1 step coarser than what is determined with the above process. Ie. if the cupping process is sweet at 6.2 steps, then I will start with 6.3 steps with my v60.
A more experienced coffee person may find the above unnecessarily tedious. But for a beginner, or for someone who is wasting a ton of beans struggling with finding the correct grind size, I thought this could be somewhat helpful.

2024.06.01 15:40 sheerattack I'm having trouble upgrading Sigils and kinda making me burnt out

From what i understand this is how you upgrade sigils:
  1. The normal sigils (1 skill) - You can just upgrade level by level using a material.
  2. The V+ sigils (2 skills) - I tried to farm goddam Tayu'itar head and IT NEVER DROP BRO, IT'S FRUSTRATING. Yes, i tried lower the damage and try to destroy the head but man that's is long ass process.
  3. We left with using an Azurite Splendor to upgrade it all the way to max level. I already bought all the Azurite Splendor available store on knick knack shop, i thought it replenish every month but nah. Using a gold badge but the multiplayer sucks! Always kick me off offline when i tried to matchmaking, i'm on ps5.
  4. For a character, i maxed all the character masteries to get their Azurite Splendor and ofc, not enough for all the sigils you need to upgrade.
  5. I tried the slimepede quest and omg its tedious 💀 why it never drop? Or im doing it wrong?
  6. I manage to get a few drops of Azurite from Luci & Behemoth fights, but man it's tiring after awhile.
So here's my question is how you guys do it?! Did you guys go thru all these steps to upgrade your sigils? I love this game so much, but the progression of it just making me hate this game more.

2024.06.01 15:39 avamariaa The House at the End of the Street

There was a house at the end of our street that no one ever talked about.
It seemed abandoned, with rotten wooden shutters and peeling paint, but sometimes, the flicker of a candlelight could be seen inside, visible through the gaps in the shutters.
As a child, I was fascinated by this house and often asked my parents about it, but they always changed the subject.
One day, driven by curiosity, I decided to venture inside. It was an autumn evening, and the sun was beginning to set, bathing the entire neighborhood in a golden glow. I climbed over the rusty fence and approached the front door, which was surprisingly hight. My heart was pounding but I slipped inside.
The air was cold and stale. The floorboards creaked under my feet. I turned on my flashlight and headed towards the living room, where an old clock ticked away, even though the hands hadn’t moved in years. Suddenly, I heard a faint whisper coming from the back of the house. I froze, listening intently.
The whisper seemed to be saying my name.
Trembling, I followed the sound to a heavy wooden door leading to the basement. I opened it slowly, and a musty smell engulfed me. The stairs creaked terribly as I cautiously descended. At the bottom of the stairs, my flashlight revealed hundreds of photographs pinned to the walls. They showed families, children, people from the neighborhood... and me, at different stages of my life.
Terrified, I stepped back, but my foot hit something soft. I turned around to see an old rag doll, worn and dusty, eerily resembling the one I lost as a child. Behind the doll, a hidden door creaked open, revealing a dimly lit room. Inside, sitting at a table, an old man stared at me with an enigmatic smile.
"I’ve been waiting for you," he said in a raspy voice. It’s time you learned the truth.
His eyes were piercing, and they held a depth of knowledge that made my skin crawl. What truth ? I stammered, my voice barely above a whisper.
The old man gestured to the chair opposite him. Hesitantly, I sat down. He leaned forward, his gaze never leaving mine.
This house, he began, is not just abandoned. It’s a place where the past, present, and future converge. You’ve been drawn here for a reason.
I swallowed hard, my mind racing. "What do you mean ?
He pointed to the photographs on the walls. "These images capture moments in time, fragments of lives that intersect with yours. The house watches, records, and sometimes, it calls.
A shiver ran down my spine. But why me ?
He sighed deeply. You have a connection to this place, one that goes back generations. Your family has always been intertwined with its secrets. The doll you found ? It belonged to your great-grandmother. She too, was drawn here.
I glanced at the doll, its glass eyes staring blankly. What happened to her ?
The old man's expression grew somber. She discovered the truth, just as you are about to. This house holds the key to understanding your past and shaping your future. But it comes at a cost.
Fear gripped me. "What cost ?
Knowledge, he replied. Once you know the truth, there is no turning back. The house becomes a part of you, and you, a part of it.
I looked around the room, at the photographs, the doll, and the man who seemed to know everything about me. My heart raced with a mixture of fear and curiosity. I want to know, I said finally, my voice steady.
The old man nodded. Very well. Follow me.
He led me through the hidden door and down a narrow corridor. At the end, there was another door, intricately carved with symbols I didn't recognize. He pushed it open, revealing a room filled with ancient books, strange artifacts, and a large, ornate mirror.
This is the heart of the house, he said. The mirror will show you what you seek. But remember, once you see the truth, your life will never be the same.
Taking a deep breath, I stepped toward the mirror. As I gazed into its depths, images began to swirl, revealing secrets long buried, mysteries unsolved, and a destiny I never imagined.
The truth was more than I could have ever anticipated, but I knew there was no turning back. The house had called me for a reason, and now, I had to embrace my place within its walls.

2024.06.01 15:39 BuhrNation95 Am I AITAH for not forgiving my brother for what he did to me.

I am just tired of my family for hounding me about my actions. I just want to know if I should forgive or go no contact because I am tired if arguing for 12 years. So this happend to me when I was 15. I was a sophomore in high school and I was dating a girl we will call (L), so me and L have been going out for about a year and I figured all was great between us. Her family liked me and my family liked her. I figured this is the girl I mind spend forever with. Just wanted to give a little back story. On the day of my birthday me and my little brother we will call (J) shared a birthday we were born 2 years apart but almost on the same day me the 17 and him the 16 of August. It was a good celebration we were all having fun my friends and his friends were attending and the family was there everything was in full swing. L and myself got separated after awhile and I was talking to the guests and sharing jokes and other discussions. I figured L went to my bedroom as she didn't like large crowds. After some time one of J's friends came to look for me and ask were J was. I haven't seen him in awhile either. So I went to search the house. I didn't find him on the main floor or even the renovated basement so I went to the second floor and was hearing thumping sounds. At first I checked my room and no one was in there and J's room was right across from mine. Then I heard a moan. I step up to J's door and opened it. It didn't take long for me to see what was going on. I saw my brother the person I trusted most, the guy I thought always had my bad screwing my girlfriend. I screamed and J and L tried to explain but I walked away. I went outside to get some air and the party was silent at this point. My grandpa asked what happened and I told him everything. He looked sad but said nothing. While I was outside L tried to talk to me and I told her it was over and she is a cheating whore and knew where I stood on cheating. Then she told me something else that crushed my heart even more. She told me that she used me to get to J and they have been screwing around since the 3 month of our relationship. I was devastated, I wanted to hurt my brother. To give a little bit of size difference I was 6ft 260 mostly muscle and boxed alot. My little brother was 5'11 athletic fram but didn't have the same strength I did. So I went inside and wanted to hurt him I was seeing red I didn't care what happened. My grandma stepped in front of me to stop me. My grandma told me if I hurt him I should pack up and leave and the whole family was on her side. I was so mad, I was the one who got hurt and betrayed and now this is happening. So I couldn't do anything as it was my only home. I felt I was left out and the family didn't help my pain either. The. J and L started openly dating. Everyday was a slap in the face to me and my family condoned this kind of behavior. After I hit 18 I moved out keeping low contact and haven't been to abother family gathering since. Of course J and L didn't last and they broke up about 2 years later. J would become a serial cheater and everytine one of his girlfriend would reach out to me ask me why I wasn't around I would always ask if they are J's girlfriend and tell them to leave because he is a serial cheater and will hurt them. Now fast forward the last 4 months everyone in my family wants me to rejoin them and say they miss me or some other crap but I can't get over what happened and how little I felt in that moment and how they all condoned his behavior. I have changed my number 6 times and somehow they keep getting ahold of me. They don't know where I live thank God but I am starting to get worn down. The last time any of them saw me was when my grandpa passed away and I left right away after the funeral. So reddit I am here to ask should I forgive and try again or just keep my peace and move on from them.

2024.06.01 15:39 fQrestX [MW2] Monitor "No signal" when playing?

bought MWII 2022 today (first cod since bo3 launch).
rtx 2070 + ryzen 7 3700x + 16gb ddr4 3000mhz, my monitor is a 144hz lenovo g25-10. i have put every graphics setting i could find on the lowest available. i get into a campaign mission, play for 3 minutes tops, then my screen goes black, monitor displays no signal for 5 seconds then stops displaying anything, "power indicator" light on my monitor goes from white to orange (to indicate it's on stand-by) and i lose all sound/audio. basically, my pc is bricked after 3 minutes max in the campaign and have to force restart using the power button.
i haven't had this issue in gta V with all textures maxed out, however i did have it in civilization 6, so i'm more inclined to think it's a monitor problem. i put my xl2546 to rest earlier this year (april, i think) and in 3 years of moderate-heavy usage it never once displayed "no signal".

my drivers are up to date, downloaded the latest i could find in the nvidia geforce experience and installed them to hopefully fix my problem (sadly didn't work).

any suggestions? my monitor doesn't have gsync. should i change some stuff in the nvidia control panel?

2024.06.01 15:38 No-Kaleidoscope-6885 My my Activision account got hacked and a battlenet account was added to that acc and they removed my email and steam account

So My Activision account got hacked through a hacker adding their battle net account and then they unlinked my steam and changed the email because that email that I had on that account was no longer in use I made a new call of duty acc under that email but I noticed when I was going through the basic info on Activision you're able to switch emails but you have to get a verification code sent to that email to do so Which I never received on my original email. So my question is how did that hacker delete my email off of my Activision account without the code???
