2023.07.10 03:06 dv078 Thinkware Q1000 memory card

I recently bought a Thinkware Q1000 dashcam and I want to change the standard card that comes with the camera to something with a higher capacity.
On the presentation page of the dashcam it says that it supports cards up to 128GB, but on the user manual it says 256GB.
I would prefer to purchase a 256GB card, but I'm afraid it won't be supported.
Those who have this dashcam, can you recommend a compatible memory card that you haven't had problems with? Thank you!

2020.06.28 05:16 wingedbuttcrack Do While loop running inconsistently for each loop in the same run. Can anyone spot the reason?

I have quite a big macro with a Do While loop. The problem is when i ran it where it performs this loop some 300 times, one .Calculate operation has not executed for 15 of the 300 loops. Side note: this .Calculate command takes some time because the range includes some heavy formulas.
What my macro does is, opening a series of workbooks, doing some processing in it and coping the data to a different workbook. Additionally it creates some records in another workbook for accuracy checking.
is there any explanation why this is not working only sometimes?
this is my code
Sub Copypaste() Application.Calculation = xlCalculationManual Dim MyFolder As String Dim MyFile As String Dim LastRow As Long Dim LastRow2 As Long Dim OD As Long Dim OL As Long Dim DAT As String 'Dim OutFile As Workbook 'Set OutFile = Workbooks("123456.xlsx") MyFolder = "D:\data\original - Copy" MyFile = Dir(MyFolder & "\*.xlsx") Do While MyFile <> "" 'open workbook Workbooks.Open Filename:=MyFolder & "\" & MyFile 'start of DER_data 'rename sheet ActiveWorkbook.Sheets(1).Name = "01" ActiveWorkbook.Sheets(1).Activate OD = ActiveSheet.Application.WorksheetFunction.Index(ActiveSheet.Range("A:V"), WorksheetFunction.Match("TODAY TOTAL", ActiveSheet.Range("A:A"), 0), 18) OL = ActiveSheet.Application.WorksheetFunction.Index(ActiveSheet.Range("A:AV"), WorksheetFunction.Match("TODAY TOTAL", ActiveSheet.Range("A:A"), 0), 47) 'copy paste formule Workbooks("macros (Autosaved).xlsm").Sheets("formulas").Range("A:CA").Copy Workbooks(MyFile).Activate ActiveWorkbook.Sheets(2).Range("A1").PasteSpecial xlPasteFormulas ActiveWorkbook.Sheets(2).Activate ActiveSheet.calculate<------- **this is the operation that doesn't execute*** 'autofilter With ActiveSheet .Range("M2:M1000").NumberFormat = "0.00" .Range("Q2:Q1000").NumberFormat = "0.00" With .Range("$A$1:$AX$1000") .autofilter Field:=17, Criteria1:="0.00" .autofilter Field:=13, Criteria1:="0.00" End With End With 'clear ActiveSheet.Range("$A$2:$AX$1000").SpecialCells(xlCellTypeVisible).ClearContents ActiveSheet.ShowAllData 'sort ActiveSheet.Range("$A$1:$AX$1000").sort Key1:=Range("A1"), Order1:=xlDescending 'calculate With ActiveSheet .Range("W:AP").calculate .Range("BA:BI").calculate End With 'end of DER_data 'start of combine files Workbooks(MyFile).Sheets(2).Range("A2:AX1000").Copy With Workbooks(OutFile).Sheets(1) If Application.WorksheetFunction.CountA(.Cells) <> 0 Then LastRow = .Cells.Find(What:="*", _ After:=.Range("A1"), _ Lookat:=xlPart, _ LookIn:=xlFormulas, _ SearchOrder:=xlByRows, _ SearchDirection:=xlPrevious, _ MatchCase:=False).Row Else LastRow = 2 End If .Range("A" & LastRow).Offset(1, 0).PasteSpecial xlPasteValues 'take Date DAT = .Range("A" & LastRow).Offset(1, 0).Value End With Workbooks(MyFile).Sheets(2).Range("BA2:BI2030").Copy With Workbooks(OutFile).Sheets(2) If Application.WorksheetFunction.CountA(.Cells) <> 0 Then LastRow = .Cells.Find(What:="*", _ After:=.Range("A1"), _ Lookat:=xlPart, _ LookIn:=xlFormulas, _ SearchOrder:=xlByRows, _ SearchDirection:=xlPrevious, _ MatchCase:=False).Row Else LastRow = 2 End If .Range("A" & LastRow).Offset(1, 0).PasteSpecial xlPasteValues End With Application.CalculateBeforeSave = False Workbooks(MyFile).Close SaveChanges:=True Workbooks(OutFile).Save MyFile = Dir With Workbooks("macros (Autosaved).xlsm").Sheets("check") If Application.WorksheetFunction.CountA(.Cells) <> 0 Then LastRow2 = .Cells.Find(What:="*", _ After:=.Range("A1"), _ Lookat:=xlPart, _ LookIn:=xlFormulas, _ SearchOrder:=xlByRows, _ SearchDirection:=xlPrevious, _ MatchCase:=False).Row Else LastRow2 = 2 End If .Range("B" & LastRow2).Offset(1, 0) = OD .Range("F" & LastRow2).Offset(1, 0) = OL .Range("a" & LastRow2).Offset(1, 0) = DAT End With Loop End Sub

2016.07.18 23:33 dpbrick Technicolor C2100T Modem/AP Lack of Support

This modem/router combination was recommended to us because of its speed on VDSL2 (which CL finally got around to offering in our neighborhood), and its 2-band capability using 802.11ac. I was unable to lease it from CL because they only offer it to PrismTV subscribers. So I bought it from a 3rd party on eBay and it arrived in a CL box. I hooked it up and set it up without any major issues, and sure enough, it was faster than the old Actiontec Q1000 we had been leasing before, and it did offer 802.11ac support.
Everything seemed fine until I started wanting to customize the settings beyond the CL defaults. That's when I found that this is not a user-friendly device. It seems to have great technical capabilities, but accessing those and making them work for you are more in the realm of "vapor-ware".
I'm convinced that Centurylink hired Technicolor to design and build these modems to meet their own unique technical infrastructure issues. Technicolor offers NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT to end users and will refer you to the ISP (CL). They did not even publish a manual for the product!!! The only technical information, thus, is available only from CL, and that is miserably scant. They do offer a basic setup "manual" online, but it doesn't go into the nitty gritty on any of the advanced settings. They also have asterisks next to most of the advanced features with the notation "Not supported by Centurylink".
So here you have this potentially great modem/router with outstanding capabilities -- but basically no way to access them. CL built the Admin Interface for the modem, but they obviously put the least amount of effort into possible. Many of the settings that they do make available through the interface do not even work properly, and they seem hesitant to put any more work into it. I tried the "Technical Chat" (through Liveperson), and realized after waiting for-ever that the Assistant was searching online in forums (such as this one) for the information I was asking her for.
So unfortunately I cannot endorse this product, its manufacturer, or Centurylink because of their crazy business model and near utter lack of support for the product.
